Eric, Stephanie, Ridge and Brooke met at the Big Bear cabin to decide the next move for their company. Stephanie was peeved at Brooke for asking Nick to carry Forrester Originals in Jackie M boutiques. When Ridge jokingly suggested his parents sleep in the loft, Stephanie said Eric couldn't make it up the stairs anymore. "I'm not the one with a headache every Friday night," Eric brought up, which was too much information for Ridge and Brooke. Stephanie and Brooke quarreled. "Once a caterer's daughter, always a caterer's daughter," huffed Stephanie. Brooke stormed outside into the cold and Stephanie held up in the bedroom.

"What's the matter with you?" Eric asked his wife. Stephanie admitted she was scared for the future of their new company. She suggested that it was Brooke and Ridge's turn to do all the work, but Eric insisted he wasn't washed up. "Why can't we sit back and enjoy all this money that we made?" Steph wanted to know, but Eric refused to give up. Steph gave in and they had a pillow fight.

Ridge found Brooke shivering in the snow and urged her to come back inside. "Frostbite is better than sharing the same room with her," Brooke groused and complained about never getting any respect. They could hear Stephanie upstairs telling Eric, "Get your naughty ass back here." Brooke and Ridge peered into Eric and Stephanie's window and were shocked by what they beheld. "My eyes are burning now!" Ridge quipped.

Later in the living room, Eric happily flashed back to meeting Brooke and past fashion shows. Ridge, Brooke and Stephanie returned. Steph and Brooke announced their support of Eric's plan to open their own stores. "We can't do this without you," Eric stressed to his son and Ridge finally agreed. "Stephanie, I know you really love me," Brooke whispered in Steph's ear. When Brooke left the room, Stephanie smiled.

"Just tell Nick that it's over... forever," Taylor challenged Brooke, who insisted she would always care about Nick. However Brooke thought Taylor was moving on with her life too soon after breaking up with Thorne. Taylor reminded her nemesis that Thorne is the one who wanted to break up. As Nick and Taylor were leaving for their Valentine's Day date, Brooke asked about her proposal (for Jackie M to carry Forrester Originals). Nick said he would get back to her on that.

Back at Brooke's house, Ridge and Rick quarreled about the future of Forrester Originals. Rick then segued to Ridge and Stephanie's past treatment of Brooke and breaking up her happy marriage to Nick. "You are though with causing my mother pain!" Rick snarled just as Brooke walked in. She ordered them to stop fighting, then revealed that Nick is considering selling Forrester Originals in his stores. Ridge didn't like the idea and Rick accused Ridge of being insecure over the possibility of Brooke spending time with Nick. After Ridge went upstairs, Brooke admitted she was a little jealous that Nick was dating again. Rick encouraged his mom to reconcile with Nick "before it's too late." Brooke assured her son that she was going to marry Ridge, but Rick said he couldn't accept that. Brooke went to bed and couldn't stop thinking about Taylor kissing Nick. Luckily, Ridge appeared and distracted her with some heavy petting.

Nick escorted Taylor to his mansion where he had a romantic dinner set up in the living room with champagne ("non-alcoholic") and candles. "You're the one that makes this more beautiful," he toasted. As they smooched in front of a fire, Nick ignored his ringing cell phone. It was Rick who left a voice mail. "I need to talk to you about my mother."

"I knew Nick was up to something," growled Stephanie. Ridge suggested they sell their inventory in regular department stores. Felicia pointed out that most of those customers can't afford their high-end gowns and Eric concurred. "Our clothes will not be sold in malls," he huffed. Ridge then proposed they sell while the Forrester name is worth millions. Eric turned that down too, but had another idea. "Forrester Originals will open their own stores around the world," he announced. Ridge deemed that too risky. "You're not thinking clearly at all," he sighed. "A gamble like that could throw us into bankruptcy." Rick and Felicia sided with Eric while Stephanie was unsure of investing in boutiques. "You'll do it without me!" Ridge threatened.

Taylor called Nick and thanked him for the flowers he sent. He then asked her out to dinner for Valentine's Day and she happily accepted. After Taylor hung up, Phoebe was upset to see Nick's flowers. "I want to get on with my life," Taylor pointed out, but Phoebe wasn't moved. Taylor then fantasized about she and Nick getting very, very close.

Over champagne, Nick celebrated with his minions over the downfall of Forrester Originals. When Nick was alone, Brooke barged into his office and blasted him for his vendetta. "If you ever loved me you will put an end to this war before it gets worse," Brooke urged and then asked Nick to carry Forrester Originals in the Jackie M boutiques. Before he answered, Taylor walked in. "I thought I'd save you the trouble of picking me up," she said. A surprised Brooke asked if they had Valentine's Day plans and Taylor said yes. She then kissed Nick and Brooke suddenly blurted, "Stop it!" Taylor then advised Brooke to go live her life with Ridge. "Are you really over Nick?" Taylor asked. "I think you need to clear that up with yourself."

With the family gathered, Stephanie toasted Eric on the launch of their company. At the news conference, the Forresters were concerned when none of the buyers arrived. Felicia reported that none of the buyers had checked in. Eric called Arthur Harrison to ask what was going on, but all Harrison would say was that he was subject to a confidentiality agreement. "What the hell is happening?" demanded Ridge. Stephanie and Eric continued to call buyers and get the run-around.

Meanwhile, Nick and Donna eagerly anticipated the Forresters' downfall. Jackie felt guilty, but Nick promised that Stephanie would feel pain like she'd caused Jackie.

Eric sadly told the group that they have to cancel the show. Ridge protested, but Eric insisted. They then turned on the TV and heard Nick announce that all of the companies had been acquired by Nick and will be Jackie M boutiques. Eric and Rick realized that they wouldn't be able to sell the designs. Stephanie was determined to fix things. Thorne and Felicia tried to be optimistic. They realized that Lauren Fenmore could be a potential buyer, but Ridge pointed out that one buyer wouldn't keep them afloat. An angry Eric kicked everyone out. Pam took advantage of the moment to give him a lingering, consoling hug.

Stephanie confronted Nick about his revenge. He called his actions "justice" for Steph's meddlesome behavior over the years. She urged him not to drag her family into it, but he explained that her family empowered her. Nick gleefully announced the Forrester Originals is over and that it's all Stephanie's fault.

Brooke and Stephanie continued to spar over Rick and Phoebe. "Phoebe has a crush," Brooke scoffed, but Stephanie deemed the situation as "volatile and dangerous." Brooke refused to believe there was any trouble brewing.

"Do we have a deal or not?" Nick asked the mysterious Mr. Golden, who was conversing with Nick via speaker phone. A henchman handed Nick a contract with one stipulation. "Whatever I want, whenever I want it," proposed the voice. Nick agreed and signed the contract. The henchman then took a fingerprint from a confused Nick for "security reasons." Nick returned to the jet, then called Jackie with the news that he bought Golden's company. "Forrester Originals will debut a collection and they won't be able to sell it," Nick crowed.

Eric proudly showed off his new designs to Jackie. She was wowed but felt guilty for the sneaky plan Nick was executing. "You have accomplished a lot," Jackie lauded, then assured that there will always be a place at Forrester Creations for him. She was distressed when Eric announced that he had even increased production for his designs. Stephanie walked in and told Eric that he was needed down in the showroom. After he left, the ladies began to quarrel about what was best for Eric. "Don't worry your pretty head about him," Steph hissed. "My husband, after this show, is going to have the biggest success of his life."

Backstage at the showroom, Ridge was miffed when Rick wasn't staying away from Phoebe. Brooke was upset to hear Ridge issue another warning to her son. Phoebe showed up and told her dad to back off and let her handle her own life.

Thorne called his father with concerns that he hasn't been able to reach any of the major buyers. Eric simply credited that to the buyers being busy and advised his son not to worry. Eric then praised his family and Brooke for all their hard work.

Stephanie visited Nick and wanted to know why his mother offered Eric a job. Nick had no answer. "You lived all your life getting your way," Nick smiled. "But that's about to change."
