Owen told the cops to let Donna go, insisting he'd drugged Eric. Thorne almost tore his head off but was quickly restrained. Stricken Owen was unceremoniously hauled out. Tearful Donna called Stephen and Beth while Felicia took potshots. Stephanie soon took charge of the bashfest, stonily citing that Owen had likely done this for Donna. Brooke and Marcus jumped to Donna's defense but Steph wasn't havin' it. At the police station, the detectives Baker questioned a surly Owen, noting he'd confessed the minute they'd turned their eyes on Donna. Back at Chez Forrester, Bridget defended Donna, too, but Steph was on a tear. "Is Owen your lover?" she demanded. "Don't you dare question me!" cried Donna. Stephen and Beth finally arrived and were brought up to speed. Cue more yelling and Donna bolting out the door. Charlie and Papa Baker kept hammering at Owen, who claimed "greed" was his motive for attempted murder. Back at the manse, it was a Logan vs. Forrester free-for-all as Marcus told Steffy what was going on. Bridget told everyone that knowing potassium caused the heart attack probably wouldn't help Eric's condition. Donna, meanwhile, visited Owen at the precinct. She wanted to know why he had done this to her and Eric. He told her that he'd wanted everyone to think he'd done it in order to protect her. He insisted that whoever wanted to murder Eric was still out there, and the camera cut to various suspects' faces (Ridge, Stephanie, Pam, Stephen, etc).

Katie talked to Dr. Caspary about her pregnancy. She swore the doc to secrecy since Bridget worked in the same building, and then ushered in a ballcap and sunglasses-wearing Nick. Dr. C was shocked but rallied. Cue listening to the fetal heartbeat. Nick and Katie were moved by the rapid thrumming. "So far, so good," said Dr. Caspary, assuring that she'd been coordinating with Dr. Patrick. Dr. C warned that carrying the baby to term could jeopardize Katie's life and the child's. Nick and Katie talked over the "high risk pregnancy" pamphlet she gave them and hugged emotionally.
