B&B WEEK OF FEBRUARY 2, 2009 RECAPS

Bright and early in the morning, a shirtless Rick opened the door to Stephanie, who wanted to make sure "that it's over between you and Steffy." "You're unbelievable," sighed Rick, insisting he can't let Steffy go. Stephanie and Rick went a few more rounds and Rick stonily said he's not afraid of her. "You should be," she warned. Later, Steffy and Rick canoodled and he warned her they had a big problem: Stephanie knew everything! Stephanie, meanwhile, dropped in to see Taylor, who was having a rough day. Steph hugged her and then gently broached the subject of Steffy filling the void left by Phoebe "but not in a positive way." Back at the beach house, Steffy flipped out, insisting she had to talk to her grandmother. Rick told her Steph wants them to end things but he loved her too much to do so. "She's going to tell my dad," gasped Steffy. "She doesn't bluff and she doesn't give up." Rick comforted her, assuring Stephanie would keep their secret but noting that Ridge would eventually find out. Steffy then hit upon the brilliant idea of telling Taylor, who could surely handle both Stephanie and her dad's reactions. Of course, Stephanie was already telling Taylor about Steffy and Rick when the duo walked in. Gulp. "YOU and my daughter?!" cried Taylor.

Bridget dressed up in mystery "Madame X" garb at Jackie M while Jackie primed Nick for the introduction. "Can I please go back and live on my boat?" whined Nick. When Katie walked in to smooch her fiancé, Jackie looked thoroughly disapproving. Snark about the stolen designs ensued. Then, Bridget showed up in her black wig and sexy gear and Jackie assured her that nobody else would recognize the "good Dr. B" in the get up. Jackie trumped up excuses when Bridget wondered what Nick would say and then raved about the potential publicity boost from Madame X. As they went over some business, Nick walked in. Jackie was forced to introduce Madame X. (Bridget, who'd been both Italian and British since walking in picked French for Nick. LOL.)
