Stephanie moved into Taylor's house but got upset when Taylor slipped that Nick had urged her to reconnect with Steph. The old gal bristled at Taylor's "pity" and wanted to move out. Upon finding out that Eric was concerned for her, Stephanie fumed how she spent her life building up Eric's career only to be kicked out.

Nick was surprised about his mother's new place. "Could you quit having a mid-life crisis so I could have one," he noted and was curious as to what or who precipitated Jackie's new attitude. She didn't mention Owen as she claimed she was ready for a change. Nick said they needed an important investor but Jackie revealed that Clarke had offended him.

Bridget met Owen in a cabana at Bikini Beach for a meeting and was surprised to find him in a swim suit. He explained that he wanted to discuss a marketing campaign for her new line but also thought they could get in "20 minutes" of surfing. Bridget then stripped down to the bikini she was wearing under her outfit and they hit the waves. Owen ended up getting cut on his shoulder so they returned to the cabana where Bridget tended to the wound. She used a bottle of tequila for a disinfectant and Owen drew her into a passionate kiss. Bridget pulled away and said, "This can't go anywhere." He surmised that she wasn't over Nick but Bridget insisted she needed a break from love in order to heal emotionally.

Jackie showed at Nick's house to visit Jack and ran into Katie. It wasn't long until Jackie reiterated that Katie isn't the right person for Nick. Meanwhile, Nick went to Taylor's house, where Stephanie was still unhappy with him. "I am here to make you an indecent proposal," he announced, then offered Stephanie a job working at Jackie M.
