B&B WEEK OF JUNE 1, 2009 RECAPS

Week of Monday, June 01, 2009

Lesley-Anne Down

Stephanie showed up at Bill's office to order him to back off of Forrester. He doesn't need her anymore, said Bill dismissively. "Game's over." He's heading down a dangerous path, pointed out Stephanie, warning Bill against slandering Eric with accusations about hiring undocumented workers. He's determined to acquire Forrester, even if it means getting Eric thrown in jail, replied Bill. "That will happen over my dead body," warned Stephanie.

As Bill watched a sexy tape of Donna, she was insisting to Eric that they shouldn't trust Stephanie. Bill is a force to be reckoned with, said Donna: "He lives for getting what he wants."

Stephanie went to see Eric to say she was through with the Logan Chronicles. She also admitted that she'd made an innocuous comment to Bill regarding undocumented workers. Eric recalled an incident a few years ago, but said they'd been very careful since then. Was Eric sure there's no dirt Bill could uncover? pressed Stephanie. Their bases are covered, assured Eric, who raged about Stephanie getting involved with Bill. She was angry and disappointed after Eric woke up from his coma and chose to be with Donna instead of her, explained Stephanie. She'd wanted to get the company back for their children's sake. She hadn't anticipated things playing out this way. Meanwhile, Bill was coercing a press contact into digging into the records of Forrester Creations employees, and turned up the name of an employee who was using the name of a deceased legal resident. Identity theft — just the proof he needed to bring Eric to his knees, gloated Bill. He phoned Stephanie to say that either Eric sells Forrester Creations, or goes to jail for a long, long time. "Stephanie, you're no match for me," Bill grinned.

At Jackie M, Jackie offered to baby sit for Nick and Bridget. Not if the offer included Owen, snarled Nick. Don't be such an old fuddy duddy, chirped Jackie — was it so difficult for Nick to believe Owen might actually like her for who she is? Owen arrived for a meeting, but Jackie was called away. "Play nice boys," she purred on her way out the door. Owen told Nick he cared about Jackie. "You'll never be anything more than her boy toy," spat Nick. Jackie returned and accused Nick of bullying Owen. "You were the one who told me to go out and find somebody," reasoned Jackie. Nick stalked out, and Owen locked the door. "You're the boss, Jackie," he said, removing his coat, unbuttoning his shirt and clearing his desk. They started making out on the desk.
