B&B WEEK OF JULY 13, 2009 RECAPS

Week of Monday, July 13, 2009

As a sea of flashbulbs popped, Eric came on the runway and escorted a very sticky and glittery Donna backstage, where everyone gathered around her in shock. "I'm going to be the laughing stock of the fashion industry," moaned Donna. When she realized she was covered in honey, Donna screamed that Pam was behind the dousing. Eric agreed that "it does look like one of Pam's stunts."

Elsewhere at Forrester Creations, Pam was positively giddy with her prank but Stephanie called her sister and ordered her to hide until Steph could get there. When she arrived, Pam was in stitches as she outlined how she pulled off Donna's public humiliation. Donna, still a gooey mess, appeared and accused Pam of ambushing her. Although Pam was still collapsing in giggles, she didn't admit her responsibility. Eric approached and ordered Stephanie and Pam into his office.

Katie tried desperately to do spin control with the press, but a reporter doubted that such a disaster would've happened if Stephanie, Thorne and Felicia were still at Forrester. When Katie was alone, a gloating Bill showed up and said he was going to put a honey-dripping Donna on the cover of Eye on Fashion. Katie asked him not to do that, so Bill offered her the opportunity to change his mind over dinner. Katie accepted the challenge.

In Eric's office, his banker huffed that the fashion show was a disaster. After he left, Eric blasted Pam for dumping on Donna, thus ruining his chances for a comeback. Eric was about to fire Pam, but she handed him her letter of resignation. Before exiting the room, Pam squealed in delight that she never has to hear the words "Honey Bear" again. Stephanie praised Eric's designs but he was upset that no one will be talking about them. Stephanie reminded Eric that today's catastrophe once again proves that Donna is still a detriment to Forrester Creations. A showered Donna walked in and agreed but Eric balked. He insisted that he loves her and that she was the inspiration for the best work she has ever done. "I need you," he impressed and the couple reaffirmed their commitment to each other.
