Brooke asked Ridge to make a decision, noting she couldn't wait around forever. Ridge said it wouldn't always be like this and they'd figure things out, but Brooke said she already had. She was going to Paris with the kids to be with her parents. "So, you're running away," Ridge surmised. Brooke insisted it was for her mom, plus it was too painful to stay in LA and watch him be with Taylor. Ridge told her running off to Paris wasn't the answer but she stood firm. He said he wouldn't let her go! He asked her to give the move more thought, but Brooke said she'd done plenty of that. "I need to open my eyes," she insisted. "I need to move forward." She wanted a sign or a symbol that Ridge wanted to be with her, but he couldn't seem to give her that, so she was done! "I love you, Logan," he whispered. "Everything around us may have changed, but not that." But he still went home to Taylor, Thomas and Steffy, pointed out Brooke. And she couldn't live with that anymore. They shared a tender, regretful kiss and then Brooke walked out. "I cannot let this happen!" Ridge cried, rushing after Brooke and calling her name.

Shirtless Owen brooded at his beach house. Steffy dropped by to invite him out surfing, surprised to hear that he'd moved out of Jackie's. At Jackie M, Nick chided his mother for her parasailing stunt, wondering, "Why do you look like your dog just died?" She admitted Owen wasn't ready to come back to her. "What happened with Whip, it really hurt him," she said. Nick told her to give Owen some time. She wondered what she would do if Owen didn't forgive her. Back on the beach, Owen explained to Steffy how "stuff happened" between Whip and Jackie and "it's killing me." Nick pointed out to Jackie that she and Owen might be better off if things don't work out and she didn't take kindly to that: "You think he's too young for me...well you're wrong!" she cried. "We were happy." She walked out of Nick's office, insisting they'd be happy again. Back at Owen's, Steffy admitted she and Rick were in a cool off period and wasn't in a place to offer relationship advice. They dished the Ridge/Taylor/Brooke saga as well. Steffy said she just wanted her parents to be happy and then urged Owen to try and make himself feel better. "Jackie's the woman for me, I'm just not sure that I'm the only man for her," he sighed, raving about how much Jackie means to him. Jackie, meanwhile, walked into the beach house, saw Owen and Steffy on the patio, and totally misconstrued why Steffy was rubbing Owen's arm!
