Carrie looked through wedding magazines. She told Lucas she had to talk to Sami about the maid of honor dress. Carrie revealed that Shawn and Mimi were working on having a baby. "Maybe we'll be next," said Lucas. They discussed their feelings for Sami and Austin, respectively, then began to kiss. Carrie spied a message on the machine. It was from Austin.

Austin and Sami took Will to the arcade. Austin and Will played a driving game. Austin asked the teen why he was annoyed with Sami again. Will admitted that with the shift in partners, he didn't know where he belonged. Austin asked Will if he could give his mom a do-over. Will agreed. Lucas and Carrie showed up at the arcade for some family fun. Will revealed that he's going to move back in with Sami. The group returned to the apartments. Lucas saw an envelope for Carrie that Kate left while they were out. It was wedding gown sketches from "all the top designers." Carrie and Sami looked through them, then Carrie got upset and ripped them up.

Mimi cried to Bonnie that Belle and Shawn were getting it on behind her back. Bonnie ordered her into her loft to get to the bottom of it. They walked in and found clothes strewn all over the floor. They could hear Shawn and Belle in the bedroom and what they heard sounded vaguely sexual. Shawn and Belle came out of the bedroom and found a teary Meems. "I know how this looks," Shawn began. Bonnie lashed out at the duo. Belle and Shawn tried to explain, but Mimi shut them down. "This was inevitable," Mimi declared. "I may as well tell you what you were going to find out sooner or later," Mimi began. Bonnie stepped in and said that Mimi was a little jealous when Shawn and Belle spent time together. Shawn said they wanted to get dressed before they explained. The two headed into the separate bedrooms to change, then brought Mimi into the spare bedroom to show her that they had decorated it for the baby. During the process, they spilled paint all over themselves, Shawn and Belle explained. Mimi was relieved, as was Bonnie. She asked for their forgiveness for her behavior. Belle said it was fine and Mimi was probably reacting to the hormones.

John tracked coordinates for Morgan Island. On Morgan Island, Alex showed Patrick a briefcase of money. It's only half, Alex noted, then said Patrick would get the rest when he stopped John. In the next room, Marlena urged Hope not to give up on Bo. Hope realized that Marlena's memory was returning. Marlena revealed that Alex was doing all he could to keep her memories suppressed. Before she could elaborate. Alex came in, saying he needed to talk to his wife in private. Once alone, Marlena told Alex she knows he's been drugging her, then produced the medication he's been administering. She smashed it under her foot. "I'm leaving now, Alex. And I'm doing it with the help of Patrick and Hope." She turned to go; Alex grabbed her from behind. He then injected her with the drug again. She began mumbling John's name. Alex told her John was on his way and that it was all part of the plan. He put her necklace on.

At the police station, an upset Bo revealed to Billie that Hope was shacked up with Patrick. He confessed to Billie that Hope knows they had been "intimate." Bo lamented the dissolution of his marriage. Billie asked if it was really over. Frankie came in and told Bo and Billie that Chelsea's trial date had been moved up. Frankie said it was up to Bo whether or not he wanted to tell Hope. Bo said Hope didn't want to hear from him, so he didn't plan to tell her about the trial date.

Alex and Marlena invited Patrick and Hope to dinner. Hope asked Marlena if she could speak to her alone. Hope asked Marlena if she wanted to be with John. "John," responded Marlena, all confused. "I'm married to Alex... John is a monster." Alex suggested he and Marlena leave so that the other two could get changed. Hope asked Patrick to help her prove Alex was up to no good. The four met up in the casino; Alex told Patrick to look out for John, who, unbeknownst to them, was already there.

At the garage, Mimi overheard Shawn making secret plans with Belle on the phone. Her jaw dropped as Shawn gleefully talked about "the second bedroom" and how excited he was. He stressed that Mimi mustn't find out what they were up to. After he hung up, Mimi played it off like she hadn't heard anything and invited him to accompany her to the hospital for her hormone shot. Shawn claimed he had too much work to do and urged her to spend her day doing girly stuff at the salon after her appointment. After Shawn left, Bonnie arrived and a shaken Mimi shared her suspicions that her hubby is cheating with Belle. Outraged, Bonnie vowed to tend to the matter and took off. Later, Mimi was at her doctor appointment when Bonnie called to report that at that very moment, she was spying on Belle and Shawn from the fire escape outside the Brady's loft. Bonnie transmitted a series of incriminating (and remarkably clear) cell phone photos. Mimi hastily dressed to rush home. Telling Belle he was ready, Shawn removed his shirt. Belle said she was ready, too and began to unbutton her blouse. A teary Mimi returned to the loft and saw a trail of clothing leading to the second bedroom. She heard Belle noisily pleading, "Give it to me now!"

On Morgan Island, Patrick picked up the phone and heard Bo on the other end. Hope took the phone and demanded to know how her estranged husband got her new number. Bo warned his Fancy Face that Lockhart was a dangerous criminal, but she shrugged off the accusations and turned the conversation to divorce. Bo continued arguing that he has proof that Patrick is a killer. He read a report that described a suspect who goes after wealthy women; the culprit sounded a lot like Patrick, but Hope didn't buy it. Bo finally asked if she'd had sex with Patrick, Hope responded by asking if he'd bedded Billie. Awkward silence between them gave Bo and Hope the answers. Afterward, Hope broke down in tears and Patrick comforted her. Bo resolved to find his wife before she became the killer's next victim.

Alex got a phone call from Eve, a Salem police officer, who reported that Bo had damning info on Patrick. Out on the balcony, a windswept Marlena flashed back to a series of romantic moments with John and wondered what was wrong with her; she knocked over a bag and a drug vial fell out. She remembered the moment when she confronted Alex over abuse and accused the doc of drugging her. "You are through controlling me, Alex" she said to herself. When Alex came along, Marlena acted as if she didn't know anything. Back in Salem, John devised a plan to smoke out his nemesis; he used Frankie as his lawyer and made a bid on Doc's penthouse. The agent phoned Alex with the offer and John traced the call right to Morgan Island!

Afterward, Hope and Marlena got together, Hope sadly reported that her marriage was over. Marlena urged her not to give up. Meanwhile, Patrick and Alex shook on a deal to get rid of John and Bo.

After Carrie insisted that Lucas is the man for her, Austin apologized for pressuring her. Carrie told Lucas and Austin that she was sorry if she had seemed like she was waffling. Lucas and Carrie kissed; on their way out, they ran into Sami, who had been eavesdropping at the door. Back at home, Lucas gently told his glum fiancée not to feel sorry about anything. He surprised her with travel brochures. She brightened up as he said she could pick their honeymoon spot. Carrie revealed that she always wanted to see Venice. Done, said Lucas. Then they got horizontal on the couch.... Meanwhile, Sami told Austin that she couldn't continue on in another relationship with a man who doesn't love her, and that she has to finally move on. "I'm just tired of being a pathetic loser," she sighed. Austin's jaw dropped when she requested that he move out. Her resolve cracked when Austin tenderly asked, "Don't you know that I care about you?" Austin said that he doesn't make love to women who are just friends — but that he still had feelings for Carrie. Aside from all that, he wanted a future with Sami, but he didn't want to rush into it. They agreed to take things slow and embraced.

John and Alex continued to exchange threats over the phone, John warned his nemesis not to hurt Marlena. After hanging up, Alex smirked to himself, while John told Bo that he had not been able to trace the call. Caroline dropped by the station with lunch for Bo — and some news about Hope. John left to call the ISA, while Caroline explained to her troubled son that she'd tried and failed to reason with Hope. Caroline firmly refused to give Hope's number to Bo, but then just sort of accidentally dropped it at his feet. Oopsie. Caroline skedaddled with a little smile on her face.

At the garage, Mimi calmed down Shawn, who was furious that Chelsea asked Max to be a character witness. Mimi suggested her hubby go easy on Chelsea. He softened a bit. Outside, Max comforted a teary Chelsea, who said he was like her guardian angel. He pulled her into a kiss.

On Morgan Island, Marlena spotted Hope and Patrick sharing a steamy kiss. The Salem girls were surprised to see each other. Alex slithered up and reported that he and Marlena were on their honeymoon, Hope asked Marlena not to reveal her whereabouts when she returned to Salem. Later on, Hope told Marlena that she seems different. In the meantime, Patrick went to Alex's room where a cagey Dr. North said he needed a man with Patrick's "skills" on his team. A reluctant Lockhart squirmed as Alex threatened, "If you want to stay in Hope's life, you're going to need my help." Arguing that romancing a woman like Hope takes funds, Alex showed Patrick a suitcase filled with cash. He handed a stack of bills to Lockhart and sent him on his way. He and Hope returned to their room at the same time and heard the phone ringing, Patrick picked up — Bo was on the other end of the line. "Lockhart? What are you doing with my wife?" asked a fuming Bo, who then ordered his rival to, "Answer me, damn it!"

Sami and Lexie squared off in her office. Lexie told Sami that she's worse than ever. Tek entered and agreed with his lover. Lexie told Sami she'd never really make Austin happy because he'd be thinking about Carrie. Sami dismissed Lexie, saying that she had better call Carrie to say that the second round of tests came back the same as the first or else she'd spill everything to Abe about the affair with Tek.

Lucas and Austin continued to squabble. Austin suspected that Carrie was wavering in her choice of Lucas. Austin reiterated his love for Carrie and said he wanted her to be sure she was marrying the right man. Carrie remained mum and recalled past romantic times with Austin. She was very upset. Lexie called Carrie, who was thankful to get her call. She excused herself from the tense standoff with Austin and Lucas. Lexie told Carrie that she can never have children with Austin. When they hung up, Lexie asked Sami is she was happy she was ruining her sister's life. Sami shrugged it off, saying Carrie was making a choice not to be with Austin. Carrie returned to the apartment and said that while she will always love Austin, her future is with Lucas. Lucas pulled his fiancée into a hug. Carrie tearfully looked at Austin.

John came to the police station and told Bo that Alex was selling Marlena's penthouse. Bo didn't seem concerned. Bo insisted Alex was going to kill Marlena. Bo told John he could use department resources to get info on Doc North.

Shawn came home with a gift for Mimi: a rocking horse that once belonged to him and to Bo. Grandpa Shawn made it, Shawn explained. He said he got it from Zack's room and his name is Henry. Mimi was overwhelmed by the thoughtful gesture. Bo came to the loft at the moment Shawn was saying his family is "dead." "Do you really believe that?" Bo asked. "Did you ever think of knocking." Shawn retorted. Mimi welcomed her new father-in-law into the loft and got him some water. Shawn told Bo he wanted nothing to do with him, then revealed that he and Mimi were planning to start a family. The conversation took a bad turn when Shawn brought up Chelsea killing Zack. Mimi chimed in with a story about a toy horse that Patrick had when they lived in their old house. Speaking of Patrick, Bo asked Mimi about Alma. Mimi said that Patrick, though private, had mentioned her and that he really loved her, but that she died. Bo said that her death wasn't accidental. Mimi defended her brother, insisting he wasn't a murderer.

Hope and Patrick drank coffee on the terrace on Morgan Island. Hope's phone rang. She assumed it was Mickey or Frankie calling about the divorce. It was Caroline. The two discussed the state of the Brady marriage. Inside, Patrick got a call, asking if he would work for Alex North. He said he was interested. Back outside, Hope asked Caroline if Bo was spending time alone. Caroline remained mum, which made Hope realize that Bo had been with Billie. Hope admitted to her mother-in-law that she still loved Bo, but it wasn't enough. She ended the call abruptly. "Rough phone call?" Patrick asked. Hope revealed that it was Caroline.

In the room next door, Marlena spied Alex on his laptop, and saw that he was taking out a life insurance policy on her. Alex tried to distract her, but she wouldn't let him. He admitted he was taking a policy out, but it was supposed to be a surprise. It was recommended by his financial advisor, Alex lied. He fingered the necklace he bought her and told her never to take it off.

Alex called John to taunt him. The call was recorded at the station. Alex boasted about his erotic honeymoon; John was incensed. Marlena entered the room. Alex and his wife exchanged I love yous. Alex held the phone near Marlena's head so John could hear them kissing. John called out for his ex, but she didn't hear. Marlena went on the terrace. Alex resumed talking to John, who asked what Alex planned on doing to Marlena. The plan hasn't changed, Alex replied. John flashed back to Alex saying he would make Marlena suffer like she has never suffered before. On the terrace, Marlena looked over and saw Patrick and Hope kissing. She called out to Hope.

At the hospital, Carrie asked Lexie what she meant when she said she was a fraud and lied to her patients. Lexie explained that she had let both Tom Horton and Carrie down. Before Lexie could explain further, Abe came in with flowers for his wife. Carrie took off. Abe apologized to Lexie for how short-tempered and difficult he had been. Lexie assured him she didn't want to lose him. They exchanged I love yous, then discussed his promotion to Commissioner and the drug bust the night before. Abe revealed that one of the officers found a bracelet similar to the one he bought Lexie for her birthday. Gulp, thought Lexie.

Also in the hospital were Shawn and Mimi, who discussed going ahead with in vitro fertilization so they could have kids. They fantasized about having twins.

Lucas confronted Austin about his comment about Carrie. Sami chimed in; Lucas told her to shut up. Austin defended Sami. Sami refused to leave, since they were in her apartment. Lucas refused to talk in front of Sami. Austin asked Sami for some time alone with Lucas, so she left and listened in at the door. Lucas opened it and found her eavesdropping. "You're pathetic and predictable," he snarled. Sami claimed she was looking for car keys. Lucas told her they were in the pocket in her purse, where they always are. She left. Lucas and Austin exchanged heated words over Carrie. Austin insisted he and Carrie belong together.

In the hospital, Carrie daydreamed about kissing Austin and returned to Lexie's office. She told Lexie she had been at the nursery to volunteer her time. Mimi and Shawn got to Lexie's office and revealed to Carrie that they were looking into in vitro. They went inside and Lexie detailed the ins and outs of the procedure. Sami ran into Carrie in the hallway. Sami said she was looking for a lost earring. Carrie left. Sami found Carrie at the nursery ward window. They discussed having children.

Back at the apartment, Austin asked Lucas what the future held for Sami and Lucas. Nothing, Lucas said. It's over with Sami. The doorbell rang; it was Carrie. Lucas told Carrie to firmly tell Austin that it was over for them, too. "Call, Lexie, call. Tell me those tests were wrong so I can be with Austin," Carrie thought in her head. In the hospital, Sami stormed into Lexie's office and reminded her to keep her mouth shut about Carrie. A furious Lexie picked up the phone, saying she was calling Carrie to "tell her the truth."

Bo and Billie stirred on the mountain top, after having had sex the night before. Billie kissed Bo, who replied, "Hope." An annoyed Billie got him up and told him he called her Hope. A hungover Bo apologized, then reminded her that he didn't call her Hope when they were making love the night before. Bo insisted he wanted Billie. "Oh, I know you did," she smirked. "But I also know that you made love to me last night so you could forget about Hope." Bo admitted he wasn't sure he could ever move on and love again. Billie said she was a big girl and could handle whatever happens, but would do anything to help. The duo headed to the Brady Pub for lunch. Caroline asked Bo why he didn't return her calls, then asked if he had heard from Hope. He explained how hard he had tried to get in touch with her, but she blew him off. Caroline urged him to fight for his marriage. After, Caroline called Frankie and asked for Hope's phone number.

On Morgan Island, Hope dreamed of her night with Patrick. In bed, Patrick stroked her hair. Hope mumbled Bo's name. "Morning, Brady," she sighed. Patrick replied and she realized who she was in bed with. She apologized immediately. He said he understood that her heart was with Bo. She thanked him for the special evening the night before, but said she was afraid it was a mistake. Not the lovemaking, but doing it when she wasn't ready, Hope explained. Room service arrived. Hope was dazzled by the spread Patrick ordered for them. Hope reiterated that she couldn't have sex with him again until she was officially divorced.
