DAYS WEEK OF DECEMBER 11, 2007 RECAPS

At the pub, Steve and Kayla oooed and ahhed over Ciara. When Caroline carted the tyke away, Steve expressed second thoughts about him and Kayla having another baby. If there was a chance he could be anything like his father, it wasn't a good idea. Kayla reminded Steve how great he was with Stephanie, Benjy and Pocket. Steve swore if he thought he wouldn't do damage to a kid, he'd want another one. Kayla went on about Steve being nothing like his father. He'd make a great dad. Steve had a change of heart and agreed to make a baby. Kayla beamed. Steve suggested starting now.

Bo and Hope arrived at the gun dealer's warehouse in Cincinnati. Bo banged on the door, while Hope checked out a truck nearby. A woman appeared with a file box full of cards. Bo identified himself as a Salem PD cop who needed to talk about a gun. The woman tossed the box at Bo and ran. Hope returned and inspected the cards. They were gun sale records. Hope said the truck was registered to a man named Lee Elroy. Bo kicked open the door and demanded Elroy come out. The same woman emerged, pointing a gun at Bo and threatening to shoot him. A scuffle ensued and Bo confiscated her gun. The woman admitted she was Elroy's widow, Lindy. Her hubby died and left her with hot guns. She was selling them so her baby didn't starve. Hope and Lindy started going through gun records. Soon, Hope found the card they were looking for. The receipt was signed "Otis Shockly." Bo asked if there was any more information on the transaction. Lindy said she had nothing, until Bo mentioned getting the FBI involved in the case. Then, Lindy mentioned how her husband had set up a camera to photograph anyone who entered or left the shop. Lindy went off to find the photos, while Hope convinced Bo not to turn her in. Lindy returned with a shot of "Otis." Bo was stunned — it was Lucas. Bo showed the photo to Hope, then called Abe and told him Lucas bought two guns. With that, Bo and Hope headed home.

Lucas and Kate discussed Kate's plan to fake an attack on the Bradys, so Sami would think the vendetta wasn't over. Lucas also scolded Kate for letting the gun he gave her fall into the cops' hands. If it was traced back to him, he'd be in trouble. He also was angry that Kate might have been aiming at Sami. Kate swore the gun went off accidentally. Finally, they got back to their fake attack plan. Kate suggested cutting the brake lines on Steve and Kayla's car. Lucas balked. That was attempted murder, he argued, and they could get seriously hurt. Kate said she'd drain their gas tank, too, so that wouldn't happen. Lucas opposed the plan, but Kate wouldn't be deterred, promising it would work out fine. She went off and phoned Kayla, asking her to come to the pub to pick up gifts she had for Sami and Lucas. Later, Kate looked into the pub, saw Steve and Kayla, and snuck off. Steve and Kayla walked outside, when Steve spotted someone crawling out from under their car. After chasing the person to no avail, Steve went under the car and deduced that someone had been tampering with their brakes. Meanwhile, Kate arrived at Lucas' apartment, announcing she'd gone through with her plan. Lucas was furious. Things got worse when his phone rang. "You promised me that no one would be able to find out," shouted Lucas. Then he hung up and told Kate they were in big trouble.
