Stephanie went to the Kiriakis mansion. Philip was thrilled to see her. He offered up a peace offering, a necklace with a charm. She said she couldn't accept it. She explained that she came by to return the car he bought for her. "It's over," she declared. He said she couldn't eat, sleep or think straight without her. Steph said she felt the same way, but couldn't be with him. He suggested they move to Greece, like she had wanted to do after he was shot. He was ready to fuel up the jet, and added that he would do anything for her. She began to cry. He kissed her and said he loved her. He wanted make love, but she pulled back, explaining that it wasn't going to happen. She insisted that they were really over this time.

Nathan arrived at the Horton Cabin to find Melanie naked in the outdoor shower. She screamed, which stopped Brady and Arianna from having their first kiss. Brady and Ari rushed outside and Melanie introduced them to Nathan. "You're the guy," Brady said. A nude Melanie tried to get them to leave the shower area, to no avail. Ari finally ushered the guys inside to give Melanie some privacy. Nate stayed behind and asked what Brady meant by calling him "the guy." Mel played it off. Nathan went inside. Brady asked how he got there, since Melanie said the ferries weren't running until that evening. Nathan explained that he took the Horton motorboat and nearly ran out of gas en route. Mel pulled Nathan outside to go bird watching in order to leave Ari and Brady alone together. Brady suggested playing poker. Mel and Nathan came back in and joined them. Melanie threw out the idea of playing strip poker. She and Ari admitted that they weren't good players. The guys smirked and shuffled the cards. They wound up stripping down to their skivvies after a particularly good hand from a fully-dressed card shark Melanie.

At the Java Café, Will questioned if Chad was Mia's boyfriend. She insisted he wasn't and said she couldn't talk because she would get in trouble with the manager. Will asked her why she had never told him about Chad. She went back to work, then brought Will a coffee during her break to talk things out. She explained that she and Chad dated a few times but it wasn't a big deal. "He's a total psycho. I want to forget about him," she noted. Will waited around until Mia got off work. He asked if she wanted to do something, like play goofy golf. "I am the Tiger Woods of goofy golf," she smiled. An uneasy Chad listened to their banter. Mia took a look at Chad, then hurried off to change. Chad went after her, but Will stood in his way. The guys squared off. Mia arrived back at Maggie's and was annoyed Chad was back in town.

Nicole made a furtive call to Sami to talk about Johnny. EJ came into the living room and asked why she was on the phone to Sami. She wouldn't answer, noting that he was treating her like a naughty child. She lied that Sami asked her to help convince EJ to drop the suit and was calling to say she couldn't do that. Nicole elaborated, saying that as a mother, she understood where Sami was coming from, which infuriated EJ. An argument ensued. She insisted that she always puts EJ and Sydney first, which made him soften toward her, but he was still super-angry about Sami. He apologized for being so "impossible" lately. "Contrary to what most people think, I don't like to be this angry," he told her. "Especially not when it's directed at somebody with whom I will always, like it or not, share a connection." He asked if they could stop talking about Sami, then hugged Nicole. Stefano came in. EJ got a call and excused himself. Stefano revealed he knew all about Nicole bringing Johnny to see Sami. He warned her that she was slipping. She insisted she had everything under control and took off. Once alone with Stefano, EJ pointed out that he didn't seem rattled by Grace's death and she was his granddaughter. "How can you say a thing like that?" The Phoenix deflected.

Bo ran into Victor on the pier and noted that his dad seemed chipper. He accused his father of putting Stephanie up to lying about EJ's involvement in her kidnapping. Vic advised his son to leave it alone.

Nicole went to the Brady Pub and spied Stephanie, who she could tell was upset. Steph revealed she broke her engagement to Philip. Nic asked what happened. "I was expected to help your husband, who had me kidnapped and put in a morgue drawer over my cousin Sami, whose daughter died, and now she's losing her son to EJ," Steph replied. Nic asked if that meant Steph was going to testify against EJ at the trial the next day. Steph shrugged that she was going to do what was right. Nicole said she would do whatever necessary to protect her family and headed out. Victor, who was at the Pub, approached Stephanie and asked about the conversation. She revealed that she and Philip were through. "Like hell you are!" he fired back.... Nicole returned home and told EJ she had to talk about the "Sami thing," because everything had changed.

Bo visited Philip, who revealed that he and Steph were through, thanks to Victor. Bo noted that he and Hope had lived as Kiriakises once, but couldn't make it work. He told his brother he was going to have to choose between money, power and Stephanie.
