At the Cheatin' Heart, Stephanie ordered drinks and ice for Nathan's wounds. While she nursed him, Nate realized that Steph still loved her ex. Stephanie apologized to Nathan for dragging him into her mess with Philip. He laughed that she thought they had to worry about Melanie that night.

In the park, Philip and Melanie kissed. She admitted that she had been fighting her feelings for him. "I was waiting for you," she told him.

Arianna and Brady argued over the bag of cocaine he found in the Pub. She asked him to give it to her, which made him annoyed that she thought he couldn't handle it. Brady assured her he would never go back to drugs. He took the bag and emptied it into the sink. Brady then got a text from Victor that there was a family emergency and he headed out. Ari then made a call, saying she needed more in her next shipment.

In the remote cabin where Ciara was being held, her kidnappers conferred. Dean's girlfriend asked if Kyle had heard from Dean, but Kyle said no. At the station, Dean got in on the search. Bo and Hope worried about their daughter and realized that she had been specifically targeted. Ellen came in and the Bradys assured her that they didn't blame her for Ciara's kidnapping. Ellen reported that Tracy was the one who gave Ciara the Tommy Bear. Tracy also remembered Ciara telling her about a man who gave her a lollipop at a birthday party in the park. Hope blamed herself for not being more vigilant with Ciara about talking to strangers. Bo tried to calm her down. Hope broke down in tears. She wondered if Ciara could have been taken because of the DiMera/Kiriakis feud.... Dean called the cabin and said they should be ready for phase two.

Victor called Philip to talk him about Ciara and ask him to liquidate cash for the ransom, but Phil ignored the call. Victor took care of it himself. He and Justin discussed the nightmare of Bo and Hope possibly losing another child. Victor then revealed that he had purchased some sought after property in Greece, where he planned to build a complex where the whole family could live someday. Vic then got a call that the funds had been transferred. He and Justin headed to the station. There, Bo asked Victor for the names of his enemies in case one took Ciara. Victor urged him to take the ransom, but Bo said that it was his daughter and he would call the shots. After, Bo found Hope in tears and took her in his arms.

Philip took Melanie to a sleazy motel, where the manager seemed to recognize Phil. All the rooms in town were booked because of a convention. The two had steamy sex.

Steph and Nathan walked in the park. She got an email from her parents and a photo of her brother in it. Victor came upon the duo and called Steph a little slut, noting that she had clearly moved on from his son. Vic revealed that Philip had renounced his family because of her and now she was already with another guy. Steph was shocked. "Now he has nothing. No job. No family. No Stephanie," Vic said, adding that if Philip called, to tell him that Ciara had been kidnapped. Both Nathan and Stephanie were gobsmacked to hear the news about their little cousin. Nathan wanted to go home to tell Maggie. Steph's pla was to find Philip.

At the Kiriakis manse, Victor told Justin he would kill whoever took Ciara.
