Billie left a frantic message for Chelsea and fretted to Abby that Nick might reveal the truth of their one-night stand. Meanwhile, Nick woke a sleeping Chelsea and informed her that he had to tell her something bad. She worried that he was there to break things off, but he promised that wasn't the case. He reminded Chelsea of his promise to always tell her the truth. Chelsea suspected Nick was lying about his sexual history and he was a virgin after all. She beamed she was a virgin too, and now their first times would be together. Nick explained that he lost his virginity...to an older woman. Chelsea declared that she didn't want to think about the past and they should look forward to their life together. "I'm finally moving on and I want to do that with you," she smiled. Billie stormed in. "You didn't tell her?" Billie wondered. Suddenly, Chelsea put the pieces together and realized that Nick was Billie's mystery lover. Chelsea slapped Nick.

Max praised that Abby was the best employee he'd ever had. He lamented that he didn't stand by Mimi when times were tough, but Abby assured that he did the best he could for Mimi. Abby assisted as Max worked on a car.

Celeste revealed to Sami that she knows EJ wants Sami's child. Sami regretted not telling Lucas the truth from the outset. Celeste suggested that Sami should have the amnio for her own piece of mind, but advised that Sami needed to think long-term. Celeste thought what Sami really needed was a permanent solution: She had to kill EJ.

Kayla blasted EJ for what he had done to Steve and vowed to get to the bottom of his scheme. "Why do you insist on being the same bastard your father was?" she lamented. Meanwhile, Steve was straitjacketed in a mental institution and was a difficult patient for his therapist. She recounted his list of crimes, but Steve maintained that having him committed was a mistake. Steve balked when his therapist wanted to talk about Kayla. Steve's therapist received a phone call, drawing attention to her cell phone. The therapist offered to let Steve out of his straitjacket if he was medicated and he reluctantly agreed. When the straitjacket was removed, Steve collapsed on top of his therapist. When left alone, Steve pulled out the therapist's cell phone, which he had swiped, and called EJ for help getting released.

Nick told Abby about his smoochfest with Chelsea, describing it as "mind-blowing" and "knee-buckling." Abby suggested that Chelsea was playing Nick to pay him back for lying about Shane Patton. Nick insisted the kisses were for real, and from now on he would tell Chelsea the truth about everything. Abby warned Nick NOT to tell Chelsea about sleeping with Billie. She'd hate him. Nick was insistent about coming clean. Abby told Nick he shouldn't ruin Chelsea's relationship with her mother over his "stupid crush." Nick insisted it wasn't a crush. Abby left and headed to Chez Rouge, where she told Maggie about some jerk who didn't care about breaking hearts. Maggie assumed it was Max, but Abby said it was Nick, who was about to ruin two lives. Maggie suggested that maybe someone else could stop Nick. With that, Abby took off. Meanwhile, Nick arrived looking for Abby. Maggie asked what was going on between him and Abby. Nick explained that Abby wanted him to keep quiet about something, but he couldn't.

Willow told EJ that she needed a job. He pointed out that Shawn was a disloyal employee, so why would he give his girlfriend a job? Willow said she wasn't Shawn's girlfriend anymore, but was pregnant with his child and needed money. When Billie arrived, EJ excused himself but told Willow to stick around. Then, EJ and Billie discussed her business proposal. Billie told EJ that Bo loved her system and was all set to use it, until he found out that Mythic/EJ was the backer. Billie joked about breaking into Bo's house. That would convince him to use their system. Willow interrupted, so EJ took her outside, showed her a big fat check, and offered her a one-day job: breaking into Bo's house and stealing Hope's jewelry. Willow refused. EJ scampered off and phoned the YWCA to ask about their policy on tenants having children. Upon learning they were a no-no, he informed them that Willow was pregnant. Willow spotted Abby and asked for help getting her job back at Chez Rouge. Abby refused and went to talk to Billie. Just then, Willow's phone rang and the YWCA director said that she'd been informed about her pregnancy and they weren't able to accommodate kids. Willow confronted EJ about being the snitch. He coldly asked if she wanted the job he'd offered her. Having no choice, Willow took it. Meanwhile, Abby informed Billie of Nick's plans, so Billie raced off to stop him. Billie found Nick at the garage before he left to talk to Chelsea. She ordered him to keep mum. Billie wouldn't have her relationship with Chelsea destroyed. But Nick was adamant about spilling the beans and left. Billie phoned Chelsea and left a message to return her call, ASAP.

At St. Luke's, Lucas asked Sami what she was so scared of that made her want to run off and leave Salem. Sami said she wasn't scared, even as she shook like a leaf. Lucas asked if someone was threatening her...like EJ, perhaps? When Sami pooh-poohed that, Lucas noted that he could tell she was lying to him and asked for the truth. "I can't," said Sami. "Then I can't marry you," responded Lucas, who was sick of lies, secrets and getting hurt. Sami swore she wasn't lying or hiding anything. Then she began crying and going on about her past. Every time she screwed up, Lucas took back his love. "You can't ask me to bare my soul to you," said Sami. "If you love me, then you just have to accept me." When Lucas swore he wouldn't walk away, Sami revealed that EJ was there while Lucas was gone. Before she could go any further, Celeste walked into the church. Lucas suggested that he and Sami head home and finish their conversation. Sami said that EJ wanted to be invited to their wedding. That is what had upset her. Now she wanted to light a candle and would meet Lucas at home. When Lucas left, Sami approached Celeste for help. Celeste said she already knew — that's why she was there.

Billie told Bo about her home security system. Bo was so impressed, he wanted to be her first customer. Billie said she could install it today, and it wouldn't cost him a cent. She had a major corporation backing her and an endorsement from someone in law enforcement like Bo was just what she needed. Bo noted that he could use the extra security for Hope and the baby when he was out of town. Bo hoped to hear from Shawn soon. Then, he'd be flying off to get a statement from Shawn that would nail EJ. Hopefully, that would convince Patrick to turn state's evidence on EJ, which was all the cops needed to put him away. Billie 'fessed up that the company backing her system was Mythic. Bo immediately cancelled his order and reminded Billie about EJ's evil deeds, including what he'd done to Steve. Billie was shocked to learn that Steve had been committed to a mental hospital. Bo warned Billie that EJ was a dangerous psychopath, but she insisted she could take care of herself and stormed out.

Chelsea broke up her smoochfest with Nick, leaving him babbling and apologizing like crazy. Chelsea got him to stop by planting another kiss on him; then, wondered what was happening to her. She'd kissed millions of guys, but none of them were anything like this. "It's because you felt it," noted Nick. Chelsea insisted they get back to calculus, but Nick called her on being "freaked out" and "putting up walls." Chelsea said she couldn't trust Nick after he'd lied and made her fall in love with Shane Patton, who doesn’t exist. "I exist. I'm right here," pointed out Nick, admitting that he wanted to tell Chelsea the truth earlier, but was scared. All he wanted was another chance. Chelsea asked Nick to promise not keep any more secrets from her, as he thought back to his one night stand with Billie. Nick vowed never to keep anything from Chelsea again, and they kissed. Chelsea pulled away, suggesting they save some for next time, and Nick floated out the door. On his way out, he bumped into Billie, admitting that he'd just kissed the girl of his dreams. When Billie returned home, Chelsea was all smiles, noting that she was a lucky girl to have a guy like Nick.

Kate found Lucas in her office and apologized for being a meddling mom, noting that it was hard for her to let go of her babies. "I've lost you. I pushed you away," sobbed Kate. Lucas fell for her tears, insisting that he didn't mean it when he said he wanted Kate out of his life. He just wanted her to respect the choices he's made in his life. Kate understood he meant Sami, but pointed out that she was flawed. Lucas admitted his fiancé was a handful, but also compassionate and full of surprises. With that, he handed Kate an invitation to their wedding, noting that Sami instructed him to give it to her. Kate suspected Sami was up to something, like humiliating her like she did at that Mythic press conference. Nevertheless, Kate agreed to attend the wedding.

EJ couldn't resist taunting Sami after overhearing her praying that he wasn't her unborn child's father. "You are having a Dimera baby," he announced, adding that he'd bring up the kid to be just like Stefano. "Over my dead body!" snarled Sami, pounding EJ's chest with her fists and vowing to kill him. EJ insisted Sami take an amnio test to end the "Who's the Daddy?" suspense once and for all. Sami refused, not wanting to put her baby at risk, but EJ wouldn't let up. He needed time to get ready to be a father. He gave Sami 48 hours to get the test done; then left. Sami was sobbing when Lucas returned. He asked what was wrong, and Sami responded that they had to leave Salem, ASAP! A perplexed Lucas demanded to know what was going on. Meanwhile, EJ went to Mythic, where he happened upon Kate's invitation to Sami and Lucas's nuptials. Kate was sure Sami was up to something, but EJ suggested Sami's intentions might be genuine. Kate called EJ on having a thing for Sami. EJ noted that Sami made it clear that she was committed to Lucas and he respected that.

Lucas and Sami practiced their wedding ceremony with the priest. The clergyman explained that both Sami and Lucas had to make a full confession prior to the wedding. Sami protested that she wouldn't go to confession. Sami railed against bagpipers and everything else she and Lucas had planned for the ceremony, causing Lucas to wonder if she wanted to call off the wedding altogether. Lucas promised Sami that the past didn't matter to him. Sami announced that she couldn't marry him, but Lucas pleaded with Sami not to hurt him. She agreed to get married as planned and even wanted to invite Kate to the wedding. Sami prayed to God that Lucas would never find out that she slept with EJ, and she prayed that EJ isn't be the father of her baby. EJ overheard and taunted Sami.

Billie showed up at EJ's room. "Dressed to impress, I see. And I am," he flirted. She pitched a business partnership involving her idea for a new security system. To Billie's dismay, EJ kissed her after hearing her impressive ideas. EJ apologized, explaining he had reacted so strongly because her idea was a potential goldmine. Billie agreed to a partnership as long as EJ promised he didn't have a hidden agenda and would never kiss her again. EJ wrote Billie a check for a large advance and urged her to hire a good lawyer for negotiating her deal. He also suggested that she get an impressive testimonial for her security system and she thought Bo would fit the bill. EJ sent a gift to Stefano.

Nick tried to help Chelsea study, but she had trouble concentrating. Nick even made up a math song to help his pupil. Chelsea worried that she was stupid, but Nick assured that she wasn't. He claimed that she was good at things that were much more important than calculus...like manipulation. Chelsea brought up the man that Billie had a one night stand with and Nick swiftly changed the subject. Chelsea wondered if Nick thought he could ever get sick of her and he said he wouldn't. Chelsea and Nick kissed.

Belle worried that she and Shawn needed to find a doctor for Claire, so Shawn began building a raft. Belle worried they would be crazy to set sail on a flimsy raft in a storm, but when she overheard Shawn tell Claire that they would be a family after escaping, Belle apologized for her doubts.

Willow filled Philip in on her conversation with Hope. She was certain Hope had proof that Shawn was alive and offered to help Philip find out where Shawn, Belle and Claire were for a price: Let her move into the Kiriakis mansion. Philip instructed Willow to get some solid proof that the trio was alive; then, she'd get her reward. Until then, Philips cautioned, "Stay out of my face!"

On the island, Belle was frantic because Claire's finger was infected. Since Claire was on drugs to suppress her immune system, an infection could kill her. Shawn told Belle that there was no way he would let anything happen to Claire. "God is on our side," reassured Shawn. Later, Belle apologized for freaking out when Shawn kissed her earlier. She felt closer to him than ever. Claire awakened, and Belle changed her bandage. Belle noticed red streaks on Claire's arm and realized she had blood poisoning. She and Shawn had to get their daughter to a doctor or she would die.

At Mythic, Lucas informed EJ that he and Sami had moved up their wedding date since Sami was pregnant and he wanted their child to be born with his name. Did EJ have a problem with that? EJ said he didn't. In fact, he'd clear Kate's schedule so she could help with the plans. Lucas said Kate wasn't invited...just as she walked in. EJ left mother and son alone to bicker. As usual, Lucas warned Kate not to get in the way of his marriage, and Kate went on about Sami keeping secrets from Lucas and hurting him. They went back and forth to no avail. Kate left and ran into EJ, who asked if he could help. Kate went on about Sami and Lucas's pending nuptials. EJ noted that a lot could happen in a few weeks, suggesting that he might have a way to take Sami away from Lucas permanently.

Sami showed up at the police station and asked Roman if the cops had any leads on John's shooting or evidence that would put EJ away. Roman assured Sami that was the force's number one priority. In fact, they were trying a new angle: getting Shawn to sign an affidavit that EJ and Patrick were in collusion. When Roman stepped out of the office, Sami's cell rang and it was EJ, asking if she had any information for him. Sami spat that she'd kill EJ if he called her again. Roman overheard, but Sami talked her way out of it, adding that all she wanted was to marry Lucas and for EJ to be behind bars. Sami asked Roman how long he thought it would take to find Shawn, but he couldn't give her an answer. He was just glad Shawn and Belle were out of reach, so they wouldn't end up like Lexie and Tek. Kate turned up at the station and whined to Roman about Sami and Lucas's wedding. Roman cautioned her to stay out of it. Sami and Lucas belonged together. "Maybe it's time I accept it," said Kate. Meanwhile, Sami arrived at Mythic and filled EJ in on her visit with Roman. The cops were searching for Shawn to give them a statement that could incriminate EJ. But since Shawn could be dead, EJ could be free and clear. Later, Lucas told Sami about his run-in with Kate. Then they headed off to meet a priest about their wedding. EJ made a call telling someone that he needed to know the moment Bo and Hope got any information on Shawn.

Max returned to the garage and confided in Abby that it was actually Mimi who killed her father. Bonnie was determined to take the rap, so Mimi left town. Abby was consoling Max when a drunk Jed stumbled in. Jed blamed himself for Willow turning to prostitution, since she was "working" to pay his tuition. Abby assured him it wasn't his fault, and Jed was touched. Alone with Abby, Jed realized that Max was the guy she was in love with and wondered where he stood with Abby. Abby said they were friends and offered to drive Jed home. When she left to fetch her car, Jed told Max that he was lucky to have a girl like Abby in love with him.
