Sami wanted to decode the mysterious letter that she found. EJ arrived, claiming he was there to check up on the family home. EJ reminisced about his childhood memories of the house, but Lucas just wanted to talk about the rape. When EJ left to pay his respects at the family burial plot, Lucas told Sami that he had come up with a way to make EJ pay. While Lucas worked on the house, Sami surprised EJ at the graveyard. She demanded to know why EJ was there, and he claimed to want them to start over as friends. Sami laughed at the very idea. EJ claimed he regretted taking advantage of Sami, but she insisted he would rape her again in a heartbeat. EJ blamed his upbringing for his actions, telling Sami that she was the first person who ever said no to him. "It's too bad you didn't listen," she sobbed. Sami told EJ she wanted him to disappear, but he said he couldn't because there was a 50% chance her child was his. She responded that there was a 100% chance that the baby was hers. She challenged EJ to admit he raped her. "I'm sorry that I raped you," choked EJ but insisted he still had to know if the baby was his. Sami refused to have the amnio. Lucas interrupted and told EJ to back off. When Lucas suggested Sami should have the test, she blasted him for agreeing with EJ. Celeste relayed a message to EJ from Tony: Stefano's condition was deteriorating and he needed the baby's stem cells immediately.

Gabby rushed to Shawn with the radio. Belle was on the other end, but the transmission broke up before she could tell Shawn where she would be. Philip caught Belle trying to transmit the message and stopped her from giving Shawn any more information. Steve insisted they use the seaplane to search for Belle and Claire. Shawn told Bo he was going after his family — with or without Bo! Bo got Shawn to sign a statement against EJ. Gabby figured out which island Shawn was bringing Claire and Belle to. Bo wanted to wait until the storm passed to go after them, but Steve argued they had no time to waste. Shawn said goodbye to Gabby, thanking her for being a good friend. Shawn, Bo and Steve took off in the seaplane and Bo and Steve dropped Shawn off with a raft to brave the typhoon. Steve asked if Bo had gotten Shawn to sign a statement against EJ, and when Bo admitted he had the proof to put EJ behind bars, Steve announced he couldn't let that happen.

Belle pleaded with Philip to send an SOS, but instead he intentionally broke the radio transmitter. He announced that he was Belle's only lifeline. Belle accused Philip of being insane and he responded that if he was, she was the one who pushed him over the edge. He told her that once they reached land she could stay with him and Claire or she could leave. She tried to convince him that it was a lose/lose proposition: If she stayed she would make Philip miserable, and if she left, he would have to explain to Claire what happened to her mother. Philip told Belle he never stopped loving her. A wounded Shawn pulled himself onto the boat.

Where did Shawn tell Gabby to go if she ever ended up in Salem?

Sami tossed Lucas a bottle of water and he took a break from sledgehammer-ing an old New Orleans mansion. Sami wondered if Lucas wished they'd taken a different honeymoon. Lucas didn't. Sami admitted she was happy helping people rebuild their homes. Lucas noted that Sami wasn't doing much work. Sami said she had an excuse: pregnancy. She went on about how much she wanted this child to be Lucas's, and they kissed. Rodney, the supervisor, interrupted and coaxed the pair back to work. Lucas pounded the wall and found a locked metal box inside. Lucas pried it open and discovered an old letter written in Italian. Sami noticed the signature, but could only decipher the last name: DiMera. When Rodney returned Sami asked the name of the family who owned the house they were working on. Surprise — it was DiMera. When Rodney left, Sami totally freaked out!

Billie stopped by Hope's house and learned she was planning to join her family in the South Pacific. Billie thought it was a bad idea. "You could get yourself killed," warned Billie, noting that Ciara needed her mommy. Hope didn't want to sit home alone, waiting to find out if her family was dead. Billie promised she'd stay with her. Hope relented and decided to stay put. Billie assured Hope that the two of them would have their chance with EJ and they'd kick some DiMera butt.

Philip questioned Belle about the GPS. Belle admitted that she put it in Philip's bag and turned it on. Shawn was surely on his way. Philip took Claire and headed up to the deck. Belle stood behind them and worried that they were too close to the edge as Philip pointed out the stars to Claire and told her how much he loved her. Philip and Belle spatted until he eventually returned Claire. Belle put Claire down to sleep, then returned on deck to talk/argue with Philip. She admitted that she had walked away from Philip, but because he'd petitioned the court for custody of Claire. Philip admitted it was because he had nothing left. He was in a hospital in Montréal covered in bandages while Belle was setting up house with Shawn. When Belle turned her back on Philip and their family, it broke his heart. Belle cried that she was sorry. She begged Philip for them to end this fight, call Shawn, and tell him that they were coming back. "Just think of how lucky Claire would be to have two fathers," said Belle. Suddenly, Philip heard something on the boat's radio and went to check it out. He was informed that a typhoon was approaching. Belle wanted to turn back, but Philip said it wasn't an option.

Bo told Steve that he knew his island visit was inspired by EJ, who sent Steve there to kill him and Shawn. Steve swore EJ was out of his head. He would never harm his wife's brother and son. Bo tossed the bullets he'd removed from Steve's gun at him and asked why he was packing a weapon. Steve claimed it was to deal with Philip, but Bo didn't buy it. Hence, Bo and Shawn would be going after Philip and Belle alone. Steve pulled out another gun and held it on Bo and Shawn. Then, he gave Shawn the bullets to prove he was on the up and up. Suddenly, Gabby ran in saying that Belle's GPS signal had disappeared. Steve realized either Philip found the GPS or their boat went down. Steve asked Shawn what he wanted to do, and Shawn was ready to take off with him. Bo warned his son not to board the seaplane with Steve before slugging it out with his old pal. Shawn urged them to stop fighting and agreed to give Bo an hour before doing anything rash. Gabby returned with another news flash: Belle was on radio and she was in big trouble.

Nick tried to make amends with Chelsea after rejecting her sexual advances. "All I said was that I didn't think we should do it right then and there," pled Nick, insisting that he loved Chelsea. Finally, Chelsea let Nick into the house, and he swore that he wanted to be with her more than anything. Chelsea wasn't convinced. She wanted Nick to be her first. In fact, she'd come up with a million reasons why she loved him and wanted to be with him, while Nick couldn't come up with one good reason why he didn't want to be with her. Chelsea wondered if there was another woman. Nick said there was: his Aunt Maggie. He lived in her house and didn't have any privacy. Nick didn't want him and Chelsea to have to sneak around to see each other. "When we're together I want to hold you all night long," said Nick. Chelsea sighed, "I love you," and suggested Nick get his own place. The couple kissed; then, Nick pointed out that an apartment would cost some bucks. Nonetheless, he'd look at the real estate ads.

Willow hid in the bathroom when Maggie entered Nick's bedroom with a laundry basket. Maggie found a pair of lace panties on the floor and realized Nick had been a naughty boy. Maggie looked around Nick's room and found nail polish and lipstick. After Maggie left, Willow grabbed her things and took off out the window. Nick returned home to find Willow gone, folded clothes on his bed, and a note from Maggie, mentioning the lacy panties she'd found and how she couldn’t wait "to catch up."

On their boat in the middle of nowhere, Belle found the GPS and prayed Shawn would find them. Philip came down below and asked Belle to come on deck to see the stars. Belle declined, reminding Philip that they weren't on a cruise. He was trying to take away her child. The pair went back and forth about Claire's custody, as Philip insisted he was just trying to get back what was his. Belle asked where they were headed, and Philip said Australia. Philip noted that he was anxious to be the only father Claire knew and recognized. He told Belle that she could stay with them and be Claire's mother, which was more than she and Shawn had given him. Later, Philip went through Belle's bag to find a sweater for Claire and found the GPS. "What the hell is this?" he asked.

After hanging up with Hope, Bo warned Shawn not to go anywhere with Steve or he'd end up dead. Shawn didn't seem to care. He was desperate to find Belle and Claire. Bo reminded Shawn of Steve's crimes and how he would kill them if EJ ordered it. Bo noted that EJ wanted Shawn dead because he'd worked for him. Steve interrupted, raring to take off after Belle and Philip. Bo said they had to nail down Philip's exact location before rushing off. That didn't sound like Bo to Steve, who realized his old pal didn't trust him. Again, Steve insisted that he was healed and anxious to help his family. Then, he headed off to refuel his seaplane. Gabby arrived and presented a gun that she found in Steve's room. Bo unloaded it and instructed Gabby to put it back where she found it. Then he pulled out a paper for Shawn to sign, so the police could put EJ behind bars. When Steve returned, Shawn hid the paper in his pocket. Bo said they couldn't use Steve's plane. Landing it could be rough. They needed a boat. Steve offered to accompany them as backup, but Shawn and Bo nixed the idea. When Bo told Steve to "go home," he retorted that he'd come a long way to get this done and nobody was stopping him. Bo begged to differ, ordering Steve to get off the island — tonight.

Hope and Chelsea had a heart-to-heart about the opposite sex — emphasis on sex. "How do you know if you're ready to lose your virginity?" asked Chelsea, explaining that she and Nick had reconciled. Hope wondered if Chelsea was ready for such a big step. She brought up issues like birth control and wondered if Chelsea just wanted to have sex because her friends were doing it. Hope asked if Chelsea loved Nick. Chelsea thought she did and admitted that she'd always seen herself with more of the bad boy type. When Hope suggested that sometimes opposites, like her and Bo, attract, Chelsea realized that that's how she and Nick were. With that, Chelsea noted that she was going to tell Nick that she was ready to take things to the next level.

Nick woke up a snoring Willow and told her it was checkout time at Hotel Horton. Willow balked about leaving, claiming that it was Nick's fault she was in this mess. He stole the hairbrush that cleared her to save Chelsea. Nick denied it. When Maggie arrived at his bedroom door asking if everything was all right, Nick had Willow hide in the bathroom. Despite two close calls, Willow avoided being discovered by Maggie. Willow hopped in the shower when there was another knock on Nick's door. This time, it was Chelsea. "I'm changing," said Nick. No matter — Chelsea walked in to find Nick in boxers and announced that she'd made a decision. Nick asked Chelsea to come back later, to no avail. Chelsea wondered about the water running, and Nick explained that he was getting ready to shower. Chelsea said that he was wasting water and went to turn it off. Nick freaked that she couldn't go in there, since his "unmentionables" were on the floor. Then, he hustled Chelsea out the door, noting that he was late for work. Willow emerged and hid under Nick's bed when he and Chelsea reentered his room. Chelsea told Nick it was time to take their relationship to the next level and kissed him. Upon spying Willow, Nick brought things to a halt. Chelsea was furious and stormed off, despite Nick's pleas that they talk. Willow came out from under the bed and Nick ordered her to leave. She'd just ruined everything.

Steve pranced into the hotel bar, announcing that he'd been de-programmed and was the new and improved Steve Johnson. Shawn explained that Belle and Philip had taken off in a boat and that Belle had a GPS with her. Steve wanted to go after them, but Bo wasn't keen on the idea. He didn't buy Steve's de-programmed act. Steve worked on Bo, noting that he was there to do something good. When Shawn and Steve began working on a plan to track down Philip, Bo phoned Hope to fill her in on what was going on and mentioned that Steve was there. Hope reported that Steve had been kidnapped. Bo realized EJ had to be behind it and asked Hope to find out Kayla's take on Steve's mental state. Bo suspected it wasn't good and asked Gabby to distract Steve so he could talk to Shawn alone. Gabby obliged, and Bo warned Shawn to be wary of Steve. Bo explained that Hope was going to talk to Kayla and told Shawn that he wasn't going anywhere until then.

Meanwhile, Hope questioned Adrienne about Kayla. Adrienne said she couldn't reveal where Kayla was. Hope noted that Steve was on Tinda Lao and that Bo thought he was dangerous. Adrienne finally relented. She told Hope about buying Kayla a gun and giving it to her. Kayla claimed she needed it to stop Steve from doing something bad. Hope asked what Kayla thought Steve was going to do. "Kill Bo and Shawn," murmured Adrienne. Hope phoned Bo and reiterated everything. Bo hung up and realized his suspicions were right — Steve was there to kill them.

Kayla told Adrienne that she feared Steve was sent to Tinda Lao by EJ to kill Bo and Shawn. She explained that Bo went to the island to get a statement from Shawn that could send EJ to prison. The whole thing fit with John's dream warning to Marlena that Steve was a killer. Kayla asked if Adrienne brought what she asked for. Adrienne handed Kayla a gun. "I'm taking it on my trip to Tinda Lao. Just in case," noted Kayla, instructing Adrienne NOT to tell Roman where she was going. Kayla noted that she had to stop Steve. "You'd put a bullet in my brother?" gasped Adrienne. Kayla admitted she was in agony over this and was praying that she wouldn't have to use the gun.

Philip informed Shawn that he and Claire were heading back to Salem on a boat. Shawn tried to stop them as Belle warned that someone was going to wind up dead. Philip heard barking in the distance, and Shawn explained it was Bo on his way with a tracking dog. Philip slugged Shawn, who fell to the ground. Then, he took Claire and told Belle she could come with them or he'd leave without her. Belle realized she had to go with Claire, but gave Shawn a clue upon leaving: "God punishes sinners." Soon, Bo arrived to find Shawn crumpled on the ground. Shawn wanted to go after Belle and Philip. Bo insisted on taking his son back to the hotel to see a doctor. Shawn informed Bo of Belle's exit line and wondered what she was trying to tell him. Later, he reiterated the same to Gabby, who figured out that "God punishes sinners" was a clue that Belle had her GPS with her. Bo borrowed Gabby's laptop, plugged into a Web site, punched in the GPS's tracking number and deduced that Belle and Philip were headed south. "They are going to Australia," said Shawn. Gabby offered Shawn and Bo her boat to go after them, but they needed something faster. On cue, a plane landed on the island. Gabby ran off to meet it; then, returned with news. The pilot of the seaplane was looking for Bo.

Sami and Lucas got frisky in between preparing to leave for their honeymoon. There was a knock at the door, and it was EJ, wanting to discuss something with Sami. Lucas resisted slugging him as Sami said there was nothing to talk about. She'd told Lucas everything. Lucas noted that he knew EJ had raped Sami. EJ denied it was rape. Lucas ordered EJ to leave, but he wouldn't, insisting he wanted to talk about his child. Sami admitted she'd lied and didn't know who the daddy was. EJ was annoyed, particularly since he'd just forgiven Sami for trying to kill him. Lucas was confused. EJ relayed all about the night Sami drugged Lucas then went to the cabin to burn EJ alive. EJ left, telling the couple to have fun in New Orleans. Alone, Lucas demanded that Sami spill all. Sami went on about the laced lipstick, Celeste's plan, and their attempt to kill EJ, but that she couldn't go through with it. Lucas was sorry that Sami hadn't actually murdered EJ. Sami said that all she wanted to do was go to New Orleans, help people rebuild their homes, and put EJ behind them. Lucas instructed Sami to get dressed so they wouldn't miss their plane. When she was ready, Sami reminded Lucas that she loved and had chosen him, as the newlyweds left for their honeymoon.

Meanwhile, EJ returned to his apartment to pack. Kate arrived and asked if EJ told Lucas that he could be the father of Sami's baby. EJ explained that Sami had already told Lucas, and he couldn't have cared less. Lucas was a man in love, and EJ actually admired him. Kate was flabbergasted. As EJ started to leave, Kate asked where he was going and he handed her a card that read, "Louisiana." Kate confronted EJ about being hopelessly in love with Sami, despite everything she'd done to him. EJ admitted that he did love Sami and took off, much to Kate's dismay.
