Lulu railed at Dylan for even thinking of taking her to court to block the abortion. Dylan said he just wanted Lulu to give the notion of motherhood a chance. Lulu wouldn't back down and threw a number of tough questions in Dylan's direction. He said the baby was their responsibility no matter what.

Sonny fretted to Jason about his missing psychiatric file. Jason suspected Alcazar; Sonny wasn't so sure and dispatched Jason to the hospital to investigate.

Carly accused Jax of wanting her back only to stop her from reconciling with Sonny. Jax dismissed her theory. "I fell for you," Jax insisted. He apologized for having left her and announced his intent to jump through hoops to get her back. He pulled her into a kiss before leaving, his confidence in her continued affection for him renewed.

Lainey offered her services to Alexis; the lawyer sighed that she might take her up on it, as she was so on edge she might blurt out to Sam and Ric that she knows they slept together. When Sam approached, Alexis zipped her lips. But when Sam overheard snippets of their resumed situation, she stepped in and recommended to Alexis that she express her true feelings to Ric. Patrick and Robin approached to take Alexis to her room. Patrick told Alexis that he would be performing the surgery. With Sam's support, Alexis signed the consent forms. Sam gave Alexis a picture of Alexis, Sam, Kristina and Molly, which Alexis hugged to herself when Sam gave her a moment alone. Jax stopped into her room with an orchid. Robin interrupted their confab to check on Alexis. Jax excused himself and Alexis expressed her gratitude to Robin for the excellent care at G.H.

Elizabeth encountered Lucky on the docks. Lucky felt guilty about not having bonded with Nikolas's baby and for coming down so hard on Lulu. Liz offered words of encouragement. After she left, Lucky popped some pills. At the hospital, Liz advised Jason on where to begin his investigation into Sonny's missing file (though he didn't explain his mission). Jason saw Sam and offered his services as a confidant. Lulu approached and chatted with Liz. Edward approached and warned Lulu that he would do whatever it takes to stop her from getting an abortion. Liz glanced at Jason when Lulu talked about defective condoms. Lulu threatened to go public with ELQ's negligence in ensuring the quality of the condoms unless he backed off of her. Liz was worried and made an excuse to Patrick so that she could take off.

Sonny talked to Lainey about his feelings about Jax being back. He expressed concern about Carly. Carly barged in mid-sentence about Jax and stopped abruptly when she saw Sonny there. Sonny asked Carly if she'd kissed Jax; her evasion told him what he needed to know and he ribbed Carly about how she was going to get back with Jax. "You used to be a better liar," he said when she denied it; Jax had said those very words to Carly earlier. She stormed out and went home. Lulu showed up and wept to an empathetic Carly that she was pregnant. She asked Carly if she should have the abortion. Carly noted that that was Lulu's decision to make.

In the middle of her brief talk with Jason, Sam saw Alexis being wheeled down the hall, so Jason excused himself. Alexis told Sam that she wanted to say one more thing in case something happened during the surgery. Alexis told Sam she wanted her daughters to live long, happy lives together and she asked Sam to promise her that she wouldn't get back together with Jason.

Jason went to Sonny's, having found Sonny's file in the Dumpster outside of the hospital, where someone, he speculated, had tossed it after making copies. Their conversation turned to Jason's anger over Sam's liaison with Ric. Sonny urged Jason to learn how to get past his ire. "I don't know how to forgive," sighed Jason. Sonny told him that he had to learn, for his own sake as well as Sam's.

Liz went to Jason's and talked Bernie into letting her search the place for something she claimed to have left behind. She found the box of condoms in Jason's drawer. It was the same brand Lulu had used. Gulp!

Edward grumped to Dylan about Lulu's threat but assured his grandson that they weren't going to back down.

Lucky summoned Maxie to get him more pills. She told him that if he wanted the goods, he had to prove to her that he wasn't just using her. Lucky promised to leave Liz for her if she could get him the pills.

Alexis was thrilled when Jax returned to Port Charles and paid her a surprise visit. Jax assured her that she'd make it through her ordeal. He stressed that she needs to adopt a winning attitude. "I want to live," she told him. "But I have to prepare my family for the worst." Nikolas arrived with Spencer and was shocked to see Jax. However, it wasn't all that awkward. Nik explained why he changed his son's name, and offered to let Jax hold the baby. Jax passed and again apologized for keeping the baby's true paternity a secret. The men made peace and agreed to keep it. Jax then left, but promised he'd see Alexis before her surgery. Sam came home with a gift for Alexis, a picture frame for her bedside. Alexis gathered her three girls and Nik took their picture.

Carly went to see Jason at the penthouse and she told him Jax broke her heart. "Where's Sam?" she demanded to know. "Sam and I are over," he replied. "We won't be getting back together." He then refused to discuss the issue further.

After Lainey told Sonny that someone stole his psychiatric files from her office, she feared that he would quit therapy. Lainey volunteered to see Sonny at his home, if that would make him feel safer. She stated she'd leave his records there, but he's not allowed to peek at her notes. Just then, Carly burst into the room. She told Sonny that she and Jax are done. "He doesn't deserve you," Sonny commented. Sonny informed Carly that Alexis has lung cancer and wants Ric to raise Kristina in order to keep her girls together. Carly then picked up that Sonny was hiding something, and she was able to deduce that Ric slept with Sam, which is why Jason was so distressed. Carly was furious, to say the least.

On the docks, Jason ran into Sam. She vented to him about her frustrations regarding her romp with Ric.... At the hospital, Georgie counseled Dillon.... Jax went to Carly's house and said he wants them to get back together.... When Alexis showed up at the hospital for her surgery, Lainey offered her counsel.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy spoke with Lulu, who barked that she was in no mood for a lecture. However, Tracy shut her up quick when she mentioned her three pregnancies — Ned, Dillon and the baby she aborted. Tracy recounted how she'd fallen for and became impregnated by a man who didn't love her, and though she knew she did the right thing at the time, she admitted that she still harbors regret. Lulu accused Tracy of trying to manipulate her, but Tracy insisted that she had no hidden agenda. Later, Tracy told Edward that Lulu needs her dad, and she was going to go find Luke and bring him home. After, Edward threatened to take Lulu to court to keep the baby and said that Dillon knows all about it. Lulu confronted Dillon with the accusation.

In Casablanca, Carly was furious that Jax admitted he expected Carly to chase after him. Jax tried to explain that it was a test, to see if she'd pursue him the same way she has Sonny in the past. "I did the fighting," she huffed back. "Now, it's your turn." The conversation sidetracked when Carly filled in Jax about John's new name and how the baby's doing with Nikolas. Jax asked if she'd been seeing anyone. She admitted to having some fun with Patrick, but, "Not that much fun." Jax explained that he left P.C. because he felt guilty for selling Carly out by admitting the truth about John's paternity, and he wanted her to be sure that she wanted to be with him. She accused Jax of using her as a diversion and kicked him out of her room, saying, "Have a nice life." As Carly and the boys flew back to the U.S., Jax went to see his mother and chastised her for making up the golddigger story. Lady Jane countered by knocking her son's bungling of getting Carly back once he had the opportunity. Jax realized his interfering mom was right and made plans to return to Port Charles.

Nikolas and Elizabeth met at Wyndemere and admitted that Lucky needs to get into rehab. They cited his past bad behavior and realized that someone needs to do something and quickly. "You have every right to leave him, whether he goes to rehab or not," Nik pointed out. "Why are you so calm about your husband cheating on you?" Without mentioning her tryst with Jason, Liz pointed out that she vowed to love her husband, "For better or for worse." Nik stressed that he just wants his brother to get the help he needs.

At Kelly's, Maxie handed over more pills to Lucky, then planted a big kiss on his lips. Lucky broke off the liplock when Maxie suggested that they go upstairs. He said he's trying to save his marriage, which left Maxie wondering where she stood with him. Lucky stated there was no, "us," and apologized if he led her on. Before storming off, Maxie barked that next time he needs drugs, he can get them himself. Later, a tearful Maxie had a heart-to-heart with Georgie, admitting that she realizes Lucky was just using her. "If he really wants me, he's going to have to come and get me," she rationalized.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Dillon was stunned to learn from his grandfather that Lulu was considering an abortion. "My body," said Lulu. "My baby," Dillon shot back. Edward and Tracy suggested that Lulu have the baby, and the Quartermaines would raise it. Lulu refused to let the Q's buy her future. Dillon booted his elders out of the room so he and Lulu could talk. Dillon said he wants to be a better father than the one he had, but as Lulu pointed out, there are many aspects to consider regarding parenthood. Vowing not to bring an unwanted child into the world, Lulu stressed that, "The condom failed. That means it's a mistake." The young ones had an intellectual, thoughtful moving and extremely emotional discussion about the whole abortion dilemma. Afterward, Tracy gave Dillon advice about his legal options while Lulu found comfort with Georgie, recalling how hearing Luke say he never wanted a second child changed her life for the worse.

At the hospital, Patrick told Liz that there's no way that Lucky could kick his habit on his own. Citing his past with Noah, Patrick gave Liz some great sage advice about loving someone with an addiction. Of course, guess who stepped out of the elevator? However, Lucky played it cool and thanked Liz for her support. Later, on the docks, Lucky popped a pill and had to maintain his composure when Liz brought up rehab. He said he'd beat this, as long as she stayed by his side. "I'm not going anywhere," she replied.

In Casablanca, Lady Jane was shocked when Jax entered with an exotic beauty on his arm, especially since she was just about to confess to Carly that she made up the story about Jax and the golddigger. Carly kept her cool and stressed to "Ms. G" that she and Jax are business partners only. As she sulked off, it looked like Carly was hatching a retaliation plan. After she left, Jax thanked his lady friend for playing along with his little game. Meanwhile, Carly planned on bringing in the big guns to get rid of the golddigger — Michael and Morgan. Later, the boys ran in and hugged Jax. the golddigger was surprised, especially when Michael spilled a drink on her. Refusing to be assaulted by "these creatures," the golddigger huffed off. Carly realized that this was indeed all one big game, one she didn't want to play. She took the boys and left. As Carly packed, Jax came to her room and apologized. Michael warned Jax that, "Mom is really mad." After the boys were shuffled out, Jax pulled Carly into a kiss. She slapped him. He said despite the slap, the kiss says she still wants him. Carly told Jax that she was done; He replied that he's just getting started.

At Casa de Corinthos, Sam chastised Sonny for being concerned about what would happen if Alexis were to die. She stressed that she just found her mother and was going to do whatever it took to get her through her surgery — and that means not confessing that she slept with Ric. Sonny stressed that coming clean would be the best thing for everyone. He believed Alexis would forgive her, but Sam said nothing was more important than giving her mother a little piece of mind, even if it was false, during her hour of need. Sam begged Sonny to stay quiet.

At Kelly's, Lucky was appalled to hear Lulu was considering an abortion. As they argued, Edward approached and listened in but remained mum. Withdrawling Lucky got all self-righteous on his sis and Lulu stormed off. On the docks, she met with Elizabeth and vented about Lucky's behavior — as Maxie eavesdropped nearby. Liz tried to persuade Lulu that Lucky was fighting his addiction was really just trying to look out for her best interests. Lulu then dropped the tidbit about the faulty Enduro condoms (which ELQ was responsible for), which gave Liz a pause. The gals hugged it out, and as Liz recalled her night with Jason, Maxie came out of the shadows to ask about Lucky. Liz told her off.

Meanwhile, a distraught Lucky called Maxie and left a message for her to call him. Then, Nik caught up with his brother at Kelly's and Lucky filled him in about his confrontation with Lulu. Nik vowed to keep out of it. As the men argued, Dillon stumbled upon them and told them both to butt out. Lucky replied that if Dillon had kept his pants zipped, they wouldn't be in this situation. Nik broke up the fight as Emily arrived. Lucky blamed Dillon for being a spoiled brat and stormed off. Nik sat down with Em and said that maybe Lulu would be better off by terminating the pregnancy. He cited his mother and his own origins as contributing to Laura's mental breakdown.

At the Lake House, Alexis's coughing spell subsided long enough for her to ask Jason how he dealt with death hovering so close to him all the time. She admitted that she's in denial about her situation and was terrified of dying. Jason told her what he went through last year with his brain surgery. He said that he owed it to Sam to hang on as long as possible. Alexis listened intently, then asked Jason to take her to the hospital. Jason called Sam, and she and Sonny met up with Alexis at the hospital. Sonny asked to speak to Alexis alone; Sam feared Sonny would spill the beans. Sonny told Alexis she really needed to focus on living instead of dying, then it was time for her appointment with the doctor. Sonny couldn't do it and remained mum about Sam and Ric.

Back at the Q mansion, Edward and Tracy teamed up to talk to Lulu. When Lulu pointed out that her dilemma was none of their business, Tracy retaliated by saying if she's considering ab abortion, it makes it their business. Just then, Dillon walked in.... Sonny was upset to learn that someone broke into Lainey's office and stole his psychiatric records.... Maxie met with Lucky and gave him more pills.... Liz told Jason on the docks that if Lucky slips up again, they're through.

Disguised as a maid, Carly snuck into Jax's hotel room. Jax tackled her on the couch, then kissed her. "Do you tackle every maid that comes in here?" Carly barked. "I've been waiting for you to come after me," he replied. Carly then threw Jax off of her and onto the floor. She called him a, "smug egotistical jerk." Carly then berated Jax for running around with the golddigger. "My mother told you this?" he queried. "You're here to rescue me? Thank God." Carly said she would but only if Jax would, "Take out the trash." She left the room and Jax made a mysterious phone call. Meanwhile, Carly met up with Lady Jane, who regaled her about the day the boys had with Leticia. Carly informed Lady Jane that the golddigger was nowhere to be found, but she laid down the law with Jax: It's either the Eurotrash or me. Lady Jane told Carly that she needed to make a confession, but just as Lady Jane was about to reveal that she made up the story about the golddigger, Jax showed up with an exotic beauty on his arm.

At the hospital, Nikolas and Elizabeth were both supportive of Lucky going into rehab. He snuck away from them and met up with Maxie, who pulled more pills out of her pocket. Lucky said he didn't want them, but did he really? Nik and Liz caught up with Lucky as Maxie ducked out of sight. Lucky went to his Narcotics Anonymous meeting, as Nik and Liz fretted. Liz stated that if Lucky relapsed even once, she have to leave him — for Cameron's sake. Maxie smiled when she overheard that line.

At Sonny's, Alexis implored Corinthos to do what was in the best interest for Kristina. Alexis was offended that Sonny was unhappy about the idea of Ric raising both girls. Sonny tried in vain to convince her that this talk was premature and that she needs to focus on getting better. She decided to go, but before leaving, asked him to speak to Jason about staying away from Sam.

On the docks, Kristina asked Sam and Jason why they weren't kissing, then queried if they still loved each other. Jason was even more speechless than usual. He did get out that they're still friends. Then, Sam then took Kristina home.

At Kelly's, Lulu sat down with Georgie and moped about her dilemma. "It's not fair," she cried. "I don't want to have a baby. I'm not ready." She then mentioned the A word, and it wasn't adoption. "What would you do?" Lulu asked Georgie. Georgie said she's to close to the situation to comment. Lulu said she's too confused to decide what to do, then wished Laura was there for her.

Back at the lake house, Sam and Kristina regaled mom about their fun day of sailing. Sam apologized for Jason being there but Alexis said it was okay. When Sam helped her mother move a chair, Alexis flashed back to Sam and Ric having sex, but said nothing. Alexis prepared to take a nap, and Kristina came out to lay down with her mommy. Alexis suggested to her daughter that she shouldn't go on anymore boat rides with Jason. Kristina told her mother that Sam and Jason love each other.

At Sonny's, Jason arrived and got irritated when Sonny mentioned Alexis's wishes. Sonny pointed out that he feels Ric is more dangerous for Kristina than Jason is. Sonny pointed out to Jason that Alexis needs to know that Ric slept with her daughter.

Lucky and Elizabeth returned home to find Emily and Nik there, with dinner all prepared. Em told Lucky that he really needs to get into rehab, not just attend meetings. He insisted on staying out and mobile to help Lulu. After dinner, Nik and Em let it slip that Lulu's considering an abortion. Lucky flipped out at that possibility. He wanted to rush out to talk to her, but Liz forbid him to leave the apartment. Lucky remained indignant. The gang stressed that it's Lulu's choice to make. Lucky headed over to Kelly's to find his baby sister. There, as Lulu made a cell phone call, Lucky showed up, ripped the unit out of her hand and screamed, "You can't have an abortion!"

Sonny called Sam, while Alexis called Jason. Jason showed up at the Lake House. Alexis thanked Jason for protecting Sam and asked him to keep it up — by staying away for her for good. Then, Alexis suffered another coughing fit. Sam showed up at Sonny's, where he told her about Alexis's wishes. Sonny told Sam that Alexis needs to know about her and Ric. Sam refused to come clean, at least until Alexis has the chance to beat her illness. Sonny told Sam not to let Alexis manipulate her and said if she didn't speak up, he would.
