A miserable Sonny tried to convince himself that Kate skipping town was a good thing, but the coffee mogul wasn't buying his own talk. He visited Carly, Michael and Morgan, but even seeing his family couldn't brighten his gloomy mood. Carly, however, was suffering from a flu bug and grateful to have family around. As for Kate, she spent Christmas alone and miserable in her Manhattan hotel room. Back in Port Charles, Jason marked the holiday by skulking outside the Spencer homestead, watching Elizabeth, Cam and Jake through the windows (but in a totally non-creepy way).

Tracy had a Scrooge-like Xmas experience when she was haunted by Alan after she booted Skye from Luke's hospital room. Lulu, Lucky and Bobbie joined Tracy to sit vigil when Luke went into surgery. During this go-round on the operating table, Luke experienced visions of Heaven.

Mac invited Felicia to stay over for Christmas, and though Maxie was less felicitous, she passed along to her mother an emotional gift from Georgie. Felicia told Maxie she will always love her, but Maxie refused to make peace on Earth.
