Maxie was horrified when Spinelli was hit by a car during their stakeout. She was frantic as she called for an ambulance and until the paramedics arrived.

Kate was horrified that Sonny got blood on her reception dress, citing that it's bad luck. She begged a disbelieving Sonny to participate in a series of rituals to prevent any bad luck from occurring. Kate wanted to trash the dress but Sonny did his best (with kisses) to persuade her to keep it. She said she'd consider it. Later, after they made love, Sonny said, "If this is being cursed, bring it on." They then discussed how superstitious the gang from the old neighborhood was. Kate recalled playing Snow White with her cousin when they were girls and when they broke a mirror, their grandmother freaked out. Later, Sonny made a call to Gloria Cerullo and said he needed to ask, "A big favor."

At the PCPD, Lulu created a scene when she had another hallucination of Logan and started screaming. Lucky rushed to his sister's aid. Lulu then shut down and said nothing; Lucky ushered his sister out. As she sobbed that she didn't want to leave Johnny, Scott barked that he was having Johnny transferred to Pentonville. Claudia grilled Johnny about what was wrong with Lulu. Johnny explained that Lulu was upset but Claudia suspected there was more involved. Johnny stuck to his story that he, not Lulu, killed Logan. Trevor burst in and told Johnny he'd be defending him. Claudia and Johnny wanted Ric but Trevor barked that Ric is on vacation with Molly and is not answering his cell phone.

At Wyndemere, Nadine was thrilled to waltz with Nikolas, despite her klutzy tendencies. She fantasized hat it's more romantic than it is. Nadine was having the time of her life — until she got paged to G.H.

Sam lurked on the docks waiting for Karpov's next shipment. There, she saw Jerry talking to Karpov.

At G.H., Matt alienated Leyla when he made a joke about the nurse Patrick had an affair with, not knowing it was her. Just then, Spinelli was rushed in and Maxie refused to allow Matt to treat her injured friend. She did, however, let him run some tests.

Jerry showed up at Alexis's office and planted a smooch on her. He brought dinner and poured Alexis a glass of wine in an effort to get her to relax. Just then, Sam interrupted the impromptu date. She bid a hasty adieu and left. Alexis asked Jerry if there was anything going on between them. Jerry stated that Sam is, justifiably so, still wary of trusting him. Jerry poured on the kisses and Alexis told him he'd have to go, since she had work to do. She did however, enjoy the dinner that he left behind. Later, Alexis caught Claudia snooping in her office.

Nadine arrived at G.H. and Leyla filled her in on Spinelli's condition. She, too, was leery of Matt treating the injured Jackal. Spinelli regained consciousness and begged Maxie not to worry his granny. It was obvious he was in a lot of pain but he asked her to stay by his side. Matt returned with Spinelli's test results. He had a ruptured spleen and needed an operation. Nadine blurted out, "Say no!" Matt took her to task but Elizabeth backed Matt up, saying that Spinelli needed to go into surgery. Spinelli put the decision in Maxie's hands.

Lucky took Lulu back to Shadybrook, where he filled Lainey in about Lulu's disastrous trip to the PCPD. Lulu barked at Lucky to leave her alone and Lainey ushered him out. In the hall, she told Lucky that Lulu's getting worse. Afterward, Lulu went to visit Laura and vented. Lulu was elated when Laura stroked her head and said, "Mommy's here."
