GH WEEK OF OCTOBER 27, 2008 RECAPS

Aboard a private jet, Laura demanded an explanation from Scott. "I was hopin' I'd get ya to fall in love with me again," he said. She asked how he could hold a grudge against Lulu for Logan's accidental death, when he never paid for the death of Rick Webber? Scott fumed that Luke didn't tell him the last time Laura woke up. He recapped Rick's affair with a nurse, and how, to defend Rick, Laura killed that nurse. Rick then sedated Laura and forced Scott to hide the body. Laura asked why he let her think she killed Rick. Scott said when Rick summoned him to the loft he saw Rick trying to sedate her and Scott just reacted, hitting Rick. He fled when he heard Luke coming. Luke assumed Laura had killed Rick and fled with her. She remembered the fight and being told she had killed Rick, noting the guilt "was like falling into a pit." Scott didn't come forward later because he didn't want to make things worse: He was afraid the David Hamilton murder would come out. Scott accused her of forgetting how much she loved him when they were married. He went to the institution to talk to her, but she was too far gone, so he let things stand. "I'm not proud of that," he said. She forgave him — and asked where was his forgiveness for Lulu? She accused him of being bitter because she chose Luke.

A straitjacketed Lulu raged in her cell at Shadybrook. Then she lured Dr. Stanley into the cell by pretending to be unconscious. He unbuckled her restraints and left to get help, leaving her free to slip out, hotwire a van and flee. In Port Charles, Spinelli and Maxie decided it's up to Johnny to save Lulu now — Maxie has to plan Robin's wedding. He confessed he don't know nuthin' 'bout plannin' no weddings. Robin and Patrick arrived home and Robin decided to help with the birdseed. "Rice kills birds," Maxie insisted. (But that's just a myth — Ed.) Patrick struggled with the task, then bailed. He went to Jake's, where he ran into Olivia. He confessed he used to be frightened and confused by weddings, but now he's getting hitched. He can't wait to be a father and husband. Olivia bought Patrick a shot, and he mused how suburban fatherhood is his idea of hell. When she noted she's not married, he asked if that's because it didn't work out with her kid's father. She claimed she doesn't know who the father is. He said Robin didn't tell him right away, but fatherhood is the best thing that ever happened to him. When Mac arrived at the house, Robin asked him to give her away. (She noted Robert's cancer treatments are going well. Yay, NIGHT SHIFT!) Meanwhile, at the Spencer house, Lucky told Sam he wasn't interested in talking to her, but she protested that she doesn't like Jerry — she was just trying to bust him. Lulu arrived and announced, "Mom's awake, and Scott Baldwin took her." Sam left, and Lulu explained how Laura protected her, and how she broke out to save their mother. At Wyndemere, Nikolas told Nadine, "You're really important to me." She made him promise to be totally honest with her. Then they started making out. Later, she confessed he scares her to death. She recalled first seeing him at the Black and White Ball — and the way he looked at Emily with pure love. He said if she's afraid things are going to end badly they should stop now. They smooched, but Lucky and Lulu arrived, declaring, "Scott Baldwin has Mom!"

On the jet, Scott recapped how he fell in love with another woman (who secretly had his kid), and then she died. After burying her, he realized Laura was young when she fell for Luke — who has hurt Laura in ways she doesn't even know about. She realized they were headed to Los Angeles. Scott planned to recapture their past.

In Mexico, Luke knocked out a thug and took his gun. A furious Tracy arrived — followed by angry, gun-toting thugs, so the duo stole the drug-runners' plane. En route, Tracy noted Edward got the charges against Luke dropped. Luke struggled to maintain control of the plane, scaring Tracy, but Luke accused her of loving the adventurous life. Then the plane ran out of fuel. With no parachutes, Luke decided to glide it in for a landing.
