Nikolas walked in on a shirtless Lucky with Rebecca. Before they could say anything, Nik stormed out. They both agreed that getting together wasn't the right thing for them. Rebecca regretted hurting Nikolas after he'd been so kind to her. Lucky agreed to back off, stating that he does still have feelings for Elizabeth.

On the docks, Maxie's plan backfired when a real thug menaced her. She broke away from him and Johnny arrived and kicked the stuffing out of the crook. The would-be thief ran off. Maxie hugged Johnny, then Spinelli arrived on the scene. Spinelli was crestfallen that he wasn't there for Maxie. He sent her home with Johnny and stuck around to look for clues. Once alone, the guy Maxie hired to attack her showed up and spilled the beans to an unsuspecting Spinelli. At the apartment, a dejected Maxie confessed her plan to Johnny. Then, Johnny asked Maxie how she felt about him. She admitted that she was attracted to Johnny but Spinelli is her best friend and she loves him. Just then, Spinelli showed up to ask Maxie a question: "Did you set me up?" Johnny excused himself, but not before repeating Spinelli's words about how Maxie should be cherished. Maxie admitted to her ruse and said she wants him back. Spinelli replied that he's tired of being a stooge and walked out.

A tipsy Liz came home and plopped on the couch. Just then Patrick knocked and asked if Liz could watch Emma tomorrow for a couple of hours. Liz told Patrick that she made a fool out of herself at Jake's. He said he could relate. Liz asked Patrick how love worked. Patrick said he didn't know but he's so thankful that Robin came along. She then thought back on her history with Lucky. Just then, Lucky knocked on the door. Liz apologized for him seeing her kiss Nikolas at Jake's. Patrick slipped out and Lucky confessed that he and Rebecca almost slept together but didn't. Liz admitted that "moving on" wasn't working for her, either.

Back at the office, Sam explained to Jason how she dropped into his arms wearing a bikini. She was on the case of an unfaithful spouse. It turned out the philandering woman was at Metro Court meeting her female lover. A grateful Sam thanked Jason for being there when she dropped out of the hotel room window. Sam mentioned that she wasn't looking forward to breaking the news about the cheating wife to her husband. Jason then opened up about his suspicions about Claudia's tie to Jerry and Michael's shooting.

At Sonny's house, Sonny walked in on Jax talking with Claudia. The men argued again over Carly's condition. Jax said that they'd better learn to agree about disagreeing for Carly's sake, then he stormed out. Claudia said she agreed with Jax. Then, Olivia arrived. Sonny asked his wife for a moment alone with Liv. Sonny asked Olivia where Carly was. Olivia replied that both Carly and Jax had asked her not to reveal Carly's whereabouts, especially to Sonny. Claudia came back and said she could have told Sonny that Olivia wouldn't spill. They were about to have sex when Olivia's cell phone rang. Sonny suggested that he go and return her phone to Liv. Claudia was furious that Sonny would leave his pregnant wife to go see his ex-girlfriend but Sonny went anyway. Sonny showed up at Olivia's place to return the phone. "I'm very thoughtful that way," he smirked. Meanwhile, Claudia called Fredo the bomber and told him to leave the country. She then keeled over in pain.

Rebecca went to see Nikolas at Wyndemere. She admitted that she and Lucky didn't sleep together because he still wants Elizabeth. Rebecca added that Nikolas is the one she's attracted to. She stated that he's not an easy guy to like, but she does. Nik walked over to Rebecca and kissed her passionately.
