On the roof, Spinelli and Maxie shared a tender kiss. He then brought up the response she had to his proposal, or lack thereof. Maxie successfully avoided the subject and mentioned her promotion at work. Spinelli then cracked open a bottle champagne and proposed again, but air traffic noise prevented him from getting his message across. Then, when he pulled out the ring, he fumbled and it went over the edge of the building.

Kiefer apologized to Kristina for hitting her but made it seem like it was her fault for leading him on. He asked if they could just forget about it and swore he'd never hurt her again. "I forgive you," Kristina whispered. Kiefer kissed Kristina, but when he tried to undo her top, she pushed him away again. Kiefer accused Kristina of being a tease and stormed out. Later, as Kristina was trying to cover the mark on her face with makeup, Molly entered and asked what happened. Kristina lied and said she walked into a door while texting, and asked her little sister not to tell their mom. Kristina then said that she was going out.

Sonny made a veiled Godfather threat to the country club manager, Chip, prompting giggles from Max and Milo. Sonny said Chip hurt his feelings and he persuaded Chip to apologize for calling Michael brain damaged. Chip then made a hasty exit and Michael thanked his father. Carly was a little cautious, though, about the example they were setting for their son.

At the hospital, Kelly read the results of the paternity test and informed Claudia that the father of her baby was Sonny. "Your son is perfect," Kelly smiled. Alone, a relieved Claudia cried and called her son her hero. When Johnny entered and saw her crying, he assumed Ric was the dad and was ready to have Claudia go into hiding. Claudia shared her happy news with Johnny and stated that now it was time for her to get everything she ever wanted. Johnny said Claudia should use this pregnancy to get out of her "farce of a marriage." Claudia pointed out that she's the mother to the heir of both the Zacchara and Corinthos empires. Claudia then left to go tell Sonny the news in person.

Back at the Q mansion, Carly had a sharp twinge in her stomach but said she was okay. Then, Tracy entered and barked at Sonny for being there, but allowed him to stay. Michael was in awe at the way people cowered before his pop. Sonny smiled but Carly pointed out that they were wrong earlier. Sonny agreed that it's not right to go around intimidating people. Morgan called, upset that he lost his St. Christopher medal in the woods. Carly said she'd go look for it on her way home.

Kristina tracked down Kiefer and found her with another girl. Kiefer said that they were going to a party for seniors only. "Sorry!" taunted the girl as they walked away laughing.

Claudia called Ric to inform him of the paternity news. She gleefully shared that Sonny was her baby's father.... Michael enjoyed the summer night as he drove home, but a car was speeding up behind him. The car passed and angered, Michael took off after it.... Kristina was driving home, crying behind the wheel.... Worried about her situation with the Mayor, a troubled Alexis also got in her car to head out.

At home, Olivia gazed at an old photo of her and Sonny and sighed. Sonny arrrived at Olivia's and told her that since he hasn't heard from Claudia, it has to be Ric's baby. Sonny then pulled her into a kiss.

As Carly searched by the side of the road, several cars came careening down the road, followed by skids and a loud crash.
