While Georgie was arguing with her, Maxie collapsed. She was rushed to the hospital accompanied by a guilt-ridden Georgie, Felicia and Mac (who blamed Dillon). After checking the patient, Monica announced that Maxie was stable, but not out of the woods and that if her condition deteriorated, she'd need a new heart.

Rachel deliberately bumped into Jax and expressed surprise that the wedding was still on. Jax demanded to know what she was implying and she claimed that Court was downstairs with Jason. Meanwhile, a scheming Carly phoned Jason and begged him to meet her at the hotel (and OMG, she actually stamped her little feet until he reluctantly complied. What is she 5?) Jax took the bait. In the meantime, Carly got Courtney out of the room for a spa treatment and staged a seduction scene with rose petals and lingerie. Jason walked in and asked what Carly was doing. She made up an excuse that she had planned to seduce Sonny so that Reese would go away. When Jax approached the door, she made loud moaning noises. Whimsical music played as Courtney came padding back to her room in her robe and greeted Jason. All of a sudden Jason was back with Sam, a dressed Courtney was in with Carly who lied that she saw Jax kissing Rachel. Jax, meanwhile, found Rachel back in the restaurant and said she was right about Courtney. Just then, Courtney rushed up as Jax and Rachel leaned into a kiss and Court lunged at him with a utensil. Carly ran behind her friend and yelled at her to stop and admitted to her set-up. Courtney and Jax revealed they were on to her and Courtney chewed out her meddling friend.

Durant informed Rick that he's no longer DA, that job now belongs to Durant. Alexis came along and asked her husband to come home, but he declined. She requested that he be a part of their baby's life and he promised her that he would. She said she'd start the divorce proceedings.

Reese visited Sonny who made it clear he wanted another chance with her. She later told Ric she feared that their one-night stand would ruin her chances with Sonny. .... To compensate unemployed Ric, Sonny offered him a stack of bills, which Ric refused.... Tracy caught Luke and Skye kissing and gleefully noted that she'd see him in divorce court.... Sam learned that she must wait a year to have a baby or else she'd put herself and the child at Risk.

Luke set up camp in the Quartermaine drawing room and refused to leave until Tracy settled to his terms for a divorce. The Q's squabbled about him through brunch. Skye then wished Dillon a Happy Birthday. Tracy, naturally, forgot. He asked for a party. They all refused, of course. But Luke volunteered to throw his stepson a party aboard the Haunted Star. Luke then asked Skye to chaperone the party with him. She agreed.

Jason set up a meeting with a shrink for Michael.... Alexis and Ric discussed the terms of their divorce. She stated she was hoping he'd change his mind.... Nikolas lamented to Lucky about his troubles with Emily, as Elizabeth advised Em to go see her husband and settle this. At the hospital, Jason confided in Em that Michael needed professional help to recover from his trauma. Then, he mentioned that Sonny and Reese were involved, just as she spied Ric coming out of the elevator. (Remember, Emily caught Ric smooching Reese after their one-night stand.) Meanwhile, Nik bent Alexis's ear about his marital problems, and asked her to handle their divorce. Despite her own divorce, Alexis advised Nik to take his time before he makes a decision. Ric asked Em if she told. She said no. He asked her to keep quiet. Nik went to the hospital to talk to Emily. He told her he'd grant her earlier request for a divorce. Em told Nikolas she wanted to give their marriage another chance, and asked for his patience. He said okay. (Yay!)

Carly and Rachel put their plan to split Courtney and Jax into action. Carly booked Court a day at the spa. Court's no dummy — she was suspicious, but Carly convinced her that her intentions were honorable. While Court was changing, Rachel started dropping hints of Courtney's "infidelity" to Jax, while Carly arranged for Jason to come by and catch Court in the buff.

As the Scorpio-Jones's had breakfast at Kelly's, Georgie pleaded her case to attend Dillon's birthday party. After the change of venue, Maxie told Georgie she should come clean about the party details with their parents. Georgie refused. Luke and Skye got involved in a spat at the Q's about the possibility of Alcazar running ELQ and forgot about their chaperoning responsibilities. That is, until Felicia and Mac showed up at the Q's, unaware the party had moved. Aboard the Haunted Star, Georgie reamed Maxie for flirting with Diego. Maxie collapsed.

Sam read Carly the riot act for her constant interruptions. "Are you finished?" spat Carly. "Cause this is important." Jason sided with Sam, and Carly left — get this — in a huff! Carly then got an idea and called Rachel. They met at Kelly's, and Carly plead her case for Rachel to break up Courtney and Jax. Rachel initially declined, but then the thought of her bedding Jax got Rachel to change her mind. Carly's plan: convince Jax that Court and Jason are sleeping together.

Speaking of sheets, Ric and Reese had drunken sex, but during their post-coital bliss, Alexis called Ric's cell at the same time Sonny showed up at the door. Don't you just hate when that happens? Ric hid, and Sonny asked Reese for another chance. She agreed to dinner on Friday and shuffled the mobster out. Ric emerged from hiding and the pair agreed to keep their tryst a secret.

Michael had a nightmare about killing AJ, but Jason reassured the boy that he needs to forgive himself. When Sonny came home, Jason suggested getting Michael professional help, but Sonny balked at the notion.

Courtney apologized to Jax, and they kissed and made up.... Brook Lynn gave Diego the cold shoulder.... Sonny and Alexis battled again over his dangerous lifestyle. She pointed out, "Like father, like son," now that Michael's a killer like his old man.... Jason and Sam discussed her getting preggers. "I want to have a child with you, and if you need me to tell you that every day, I will," Jason proclaimed. Awww.... Newly-returned Maxie reunited with her family. "I'm the mother, I'm the happiest," cooed Felicia. "The family isn't complete without you," she told the recast Kirsten Storms (Maxie).

Emily told Elizabeth that despite reliving the rape during therapy, the counseling helped. However, Nikolas still feels bad and cut himself off from his bride. They enlisted Jax's help, and Liz gave Em a pep talk on how to treat her sensitive hubby. On her way to see Nikolas, Em caught Ric and Reese kissing goodbye.

Ric told a shocked Alexis the truth about Michael. She was saddened that Ric didn't trust her sooner with the news. A contrite Alexis then asked Ric to give their marriage another chance. He said he can't. "We lasted longer than I thought we would," he lamented to his tearful wife....

Carly took great glee in interrupting Sonny and Reese's tryst. "It's a power thing," she barked at Reese. "He's just doing you to get back at me." Carly stormed off and Reese got dressed. Sonny told Reese about his fiery history with Carly, and she responded by announcing that she's going back to Washington and left. Later, Reese arrived at the Metro Court bar to drown her sorrows, where she bumped into Ric doing the same thing. ($50 bucks says they'll get drunk and end up in a clinch!) Ric and Reese kvetch about their lives. More drinks followed. Uh-oh... Reese said the room was spinning and Ric slipped off his bar stool... Pay up! They kissed in a dark room!....

Courtney was ticked to see Jax with Rachel. He countered that he wanted her to promise their marriage will come before all of Sonny's dramas. Insulted, she left in a huff, and commiserated with Carly over "men" as they shared chocolate. Carly mentioned she'd love to see Court and Jason reunite, but Courtney replied that she still loves Jax....

Jason told Michael not to talk about AJ with anyone other than him or his parents. Sam dug Jason's paternal side while watching him play with Michael and Morgan at Kelly's....

After finding out that Diego was Georgie's friend, Maxie agreed to go for a ride with him. Dillon asked Georgie to forge Tracy's name on his film school tuition check, but she refused — not because it was illegal, but because the school's in California. After he pledged his love, she gave in. Dillon then had a change of heart and decided to make Tracy sign her own check. "This is between me and her," he told Georgie. After he left, Brook told Georgie that she regretted overreacting with the new "rich, hot" Diego. She wrote her beau an apology, only to spot him laughing with Maxie outside....

Sonny showed up at Alexis's doorstep. Uh-oh.

Ric went out on a ledge in court for Sonny. Would he spill about Michael? those in the know wondered. Nah, but he told the jury that the prosecution didn't prove its case, upsetting both Durant and Alexis. In an impassioned speech, Ric told the jury that Sonny was merely protecting his troubled son (but didn't blab that Michael actually did the deed himself!). The jury went into deliberations. Durant accused Ric of throwing the trial. Sonny told Ric he's grateful, while Alexis chided him saying, "Well done. You are officially Sonny's brother." Durant threatened to go after Michael, but Carly barked at him to stay away from her family. She's ashamed of him, she shouted. He retorted that she deserves what she gets. The jury came back. (That was quick!) "Not guilty," declared the jury foreman. Durant went to the press and called for Ric's resignation. Alexis was crestfallen that Ric chose Sonny over her and Kristina. He asked her to go home with him; she didn't answer....

Tracy told Dillon she wants a divorce from Luke, so she enlisted her son's aid to get a pic of Luke cavorting with Skye. Of course, Tracy held his film school tuition over his head as incentive. "Mom, Luke and Skye don't get busy in front of me, okay?" he stated. Though Dillon initially refused, he gave in when faced with the prospect of a future at ELQ. Upstairs, Luke came on to Skye in her bedroom. He rebuffed him, but caved. (You knew she would.) Dillon and Georgie waited outside Skye's room with a camera, but Dillon said Luke wouldn't be that careless. Sure enough, Dillon caught them in a clinch and accidentally snapped a picture. Whoops! (He's a better aspiring filmmaker than he thought.) Unnerved, Skye got dressed, but Luke remained unfazed (and still amorous). He then went after Dillon, but Tracy realized her son got some dirt. Luke and Tracy both vied for the picture. Georgie warned him not to sell out, and Dillon gave Luke the camera....

Jax and Ned had lunch at Metro court, where they talked about the trial. "The whole thing's a tragedy," remarked Ned. "I stopped caring about what Sonny does," commented Jax. Ned then mentioned that Alcazar now owns 30 percent of ELQ and has called for a board meeting, so Ned asked Jax to help him prevent a takeover. As the second largest stockholder, Jax was more than happy to lend a hand. Then Jax mentioned that Court's family ties are a cause for concern regarding their upcoming nups. After Ned left, Rachel showed up and Jax asked her to join him....

In the park, Brook Lynn was surprised by the sight of Diego in an expensive new suit. He said that daddy Alcazar took him shopping... and bought him a car, as well. She worried that he has been sucked in, prompting a squabble. Diego countered that she was only with him to irritate her parents, then stormed off. At Kelly's, Brook told D & G that she thinks she just broke up with Diego. He bemoaned that he just gave up film school. Outside, Diego ran into Maxie. She's been gone since September, she noted. Sparks were apparent....

At home, Sonny and Carly shared the good news with Michael, who was elated. Sonny snuck out of the room and thanked Reese for all her help. After blathering about life in prison, he kissed her. They beat a path to the bedroom. Of course, a spiteful Carly walked in on them and broke up the sexy clinch.
