GH Recaps Week of June 20, 2005

Luke walked in on Skye and Coleman's slow dance. Luke laughed off Coleman's dance moves, pulled Skye into a dance and said he knew she was trying to get Coleman and Tracy together so that she could have him. Skye denied it and engaged in a lip lock with Coleman. The men traded barbs over how classless the other was and made a wager: the winner of the class war would take Skye. Luke headed to the hospital and mortified Tracy with the news that he was attending her fancy party. She handed him cash and begged him not to attend. Back at the bar, Coleman put on a hideous tux with ruffled shirt and Skye ordered him to change his clothes, they had to go shopping pronto.
At the hospital , Bobbie introduced her daughter to her new lawyer: Reese. Bobbie ignored her daughter's protests and told her not to get her "panties in a twist" over Sonny's personal life. Meanwhile, in Durant's room, Alexis told the patient that she would not take his case against Bobbie. She promptly changed her mind when Ric came in and urged Durant to drop the suit. After Ric left, Alexis warned her new client not to make this about punishing Bobbie.
At Reese's hotel room, Sonny thumbed through a yearbook and spotted Carly's picture. Reese arrived and asked what he was doing with her yearbook. When he said he thought it was Carly's yearbook, Reese covered that the book was for investigative research. Sonny gave her a key and instructed her to met him at the penthouse later. After he left, she had flashbacks to some high school melodrama with needlessly high-pitched day players. Her reverie was interrupted by Carly who barged in and blasted Reese for insinuating herself into her life. "What did I ever do to you?" Carly asked. Reese said that maybe she was "karma" for all of Carly's misdeeds. Carly left in a huff. In the meantime, Jason argued with Sonny about his plan to move Reese into the penthouse saying that it was unfair to Carly.
Courtney and Jax smugly recounted how many tries they made the previous night to get an, um, sample for their surrogate mother, but since they kept getting carried away, Court had another idea. She handed her hubby the specimen cup and instructed him to fly solo. She then peeked and when he admitted he was having trouble going it alone, they decided to make it a joint effort. They did it. Again. Uh-oh, once again they didn't want to break the mood, so there was no sample for the cup.
After flirting some more with Maxie, Jesse attempted to leave the hospital, but couldn't because it was "crawling with cops." Jesse told Max he was an undercover cop investigating corruption in the P.C.P.D.
Reese met Sonny at the penthouse, which was decorated with flowers and lit candles. Sonny told Reese, the posh pad was now hers. She accepted, as long as she was allowed to pay rent. Carly arrived at the building to talk to Jason, who failed in his attempt to steer her away from her old apartment. She walked in as Sonny and Reese were sealing their deal with a kiss and snapped that there was no way the tramp was going to live there.

Edward ordered Tracy to get rid of Luke. Obviously in Luke's corner, a mooning Big Alice complimented Spencer on the way he wore Edward's smoking jacket, poured Luke a Bloody Mary, and threw Tracy down on the couch when she threatened her husband. (Alice is bucking for a raise, we think.) Then, Alice put Tracy in a headlock, but the Q queen still wouldn't agree to divorce Luke. Once released from the maid's grip, Tracy admitted that the $15 mil Luke sought covered ELQ's debt and she kvetched about Alcazar's involvement in the company. Luke offered to help by blackmailing the board members to oust him. Tracy agreed to his plan, on one condition.
Meanwhile, Skye regretted tricking Coleman and asked him to try and get Tracy back (so she'd have Luke, natch). He reminded Skye of their history and said he still wanted her. Skye regretted saying it, but offered that if Coleman could get Tracy to take him back, she'd sleep with him one time. Skye then (unsuccessfully) coached Coleman in his quest, while Tracy warned Luke if he cheated on her with Skye during the next three months, there will be no divorce. She got Luke down to $14 mil, and sealed their deal with a kiss. Luke went to find Skye, and caught her and Coleman in a kiss!
As if Durant wasn't ill enough, Carly brought him apple turnovers from Kelly's. Still paralyzed, Durant told Tony he wanted to know who was involved in his operation. He then hit up Elizabeth for more info. Durant had Bobbie summoned to his room and accused her of crippling him in the name of revenge. Then, he vowed to sue her and the hospital. Carly jumped to her mother's defense. Later, Durant got a mystery visitor, while Bobbie hired herself a lawyer, much to Carly's chagrin — Reese!
Michael confessed to Jodie that he killed AJ, but said he didn't want to kill his bio-dad, he just wanted to make him stop the lying. Jodie swore her secrecy, then snuck out to meet her mother for high tea in the park, prompting Michael to ask Max to take him to the park, as well. That afternoon, Jodie freaked that Michael saw her in "Eww — a dress." Then, Jodie's mom came over and chastised her daughter for hanging out with a gangster's son. Jodie lied and said she didn't know Michael, and threatened to send the punkette to live with her grandmother if she didn't listen. Michael was hurt the comments.
At her hotel room, Reese took out her high school yearbook, and recalled her disfiguring accident with Carly, just as Sonny "checked up on her." "Knock next time," she requested, while hiding the incriminating yearbook. Surprise! They ended up in bed. Reese acknowledged that they can remain an item, but she'll take no assistance from Sonny whatsoever. Later, Sonny plotted with Justus to get Reese to move into his penthouse. Justus reminded Sonny that it was Carly's former home, but Sonny didn't care. While Reese met up with Bobbie, Sonny found the incriminating yearbook. Uh-oh!

Carly asked Reese why she's going after everything in her life. "When I look at you I see a desperate woman," spat Carly at her foe. Reese called Carly a selfish bitch in return, but Ric interceded before the gals could come to blows. After Carly left, Reese assured Ric that even though she dislikes Carly, she wouldn't do anything that would upset Sonny. Alexis showed up and told Ric that Dr. Meadows gave her and the baby a clean bill of health. She then asked Reese to take Ric "to bed." Alexis explained that to get a divorce, they needed to establish adultery (If she only knew!) Reese refused.
Bobbie agreed to be Durant's O.R. nurse, because Tony said there was no time to get another set of hands to assist. During surgery, Liz watched as Bobbie momentarily hesitated to clamp a bleeder. After the operation, Tony told Carly that the bullet is out, but the bleeder could cause complications. Carly broke down with Bobbie and said she wanted John to recover so she could still stay mad at him. Later, Durant woke up and told Carly he couldn't feel his legs.
Cutie-pie Jesse asked Maxie for her help, saying he was being framed for a crime he didn't commit. He then hid from Mac, and Maxie kept mum. Monica told Georgie that she's on the road to recovery, then told Maxie that if she kept responding favorably to her medication, she might not need a heart transplant after all. Dillon assured Georgie that he needs her, and said he's not going to film school in order to be with her. Meanwhile, Jesse thanked Maxie for covering for him.
Jax and Courtney were the only couple to have sex today. Court tried to get the specimen cup for Jax's, um, deposit, but she got too lost in the moment to, uh, follow through. Jax happily offered to try again.
Alan told Mac that Jason threatened to kill Durant. "I grieve for Jason Quartermaine the same as I grieve for AJ," he told the cops. Monica came to Jason's defense against Alan, and chastised Alan for favoring AJ over Jason during the boys's youth. She then ordered Alan not to come home. Jason mentioned to Sam that even though AJ was responsible for his accident, his brother actually saved him from growing up in that crazy Quartermaine household. Michael confided in Jodie about his history with AJ. "I thought my family she was weird," the creepy kid noted. Michael felt bad that Alan kept saying that Jason was responsible for AJ's death and went to the police station to come clean, but didn't. Later, Jodie overheard Jason tell Michael that no one can know that the boy killed AJ. Whoops.

Georgie begged Maxie not to die. Maxie made Georgie promise to live and do all the things that she won't be able to do herself. Georgie tearfully agreed. Monica tried a new medication on the patient, but it didn't seem to be working. Then, Georgie fainted. Once back in bed, Tony chastised the Jones-Scorpio clan about moving Georgie, reminding them that the girl just had brain surgery. (Thank you!!)
Nikolas and Emily had sex. While in bed, she got a well-timed call from Michael and pretended she had to go (even though she really didn't have to — the kid was calling to say "Hi!") So, Em showed up at Sonny's and played with Michael for a while. Later, Em spilled to Sam that she and Nik did the deed. She claimed that it was "familiar again," but, um, she's telling Sam this, not her husband! Em later returned home to bed, where she and Nikolas cuddled, but you could tell by the look on her face something was amiss.
Jason refused to let Ric off the hook regarding covering up details of Evan's murder to protect Reese, while she explained her side of the Evan fiasco to Sonny.... Elizabeth and Lucky asked Alexis to draw up legal documents regarding her surrogacy with Jax and Courtney. (Please, not a future custody battle!).... At the hospital, Carly freaked out when Alan and Durant made a move to get Michael away from his battling parents. Durant made a crack that Bobbie's no ideal mother, but Carly jumped to her defense. That didn't stop Durant from calling her "Trash," like her momma (!) Carly ran straight to Sonny to tell him about the old guys's machinations.... A young hunk was on the run in the hospital and hid in Maxie's room, where she opened here eyes and said, "I must have died and gone to heaven." (We kid you not:) At the PCPD, we found out that cutie-pie Jesse is really an undercover cop who has supposedly gone bad.
Reese hit up Ric to open their own law practice. During a heated confrontation with Ric, Reese and Alexis in the courthouse, a mystery assassin shot Durant in the back. "How do you think!?!" barked Durant at Liz when she asked him how he was doing after the shooting. Reese high-tailed it over to Sonny's to see if he had anything to do with Durant's shooting. He denied any involvement. "The only thing I ordered was two dozen roses sent to your hotel room," Sonny countered. At the hospital, Durant begged Liz to be present for his surgery. She said she couldn't because she's not an O.R. nurse. Later, Bobbie was shocked to enter the O.R. and see Durant on the table.

Georgie went code blue and walked into the light, but Maxie kept her from entering by telling her sister to live her life to the fullest. Georgie's heartbeat returned, leaving Felicia, Mac and Dillon overjoyed — but only temporarily, as Maxie grew weaker. Bobbie broke down with Carly about Maxie and Georgie's dilemma. Carly told her mom that it was okay to hope for the best. Carly said even though she never met B.J., she felt a connection to her, and she'll always there for her mother. Dillon promised Georgie he'd always stick around. Max awoke and was thrilled to hear Georgie was doing better, and told Felicia not to worry. Then, Monica told the family that none of the meds were working, and if Maxie continued to deteriorate, her organs would shut down. Felicia refused to say good-bye to her eldest, while Bobbie and Tony commiserated over their memories of B.J. Dillon ordered Georgie to wake up — and she did! Maxie thanked Mac for being a great dad to her. Then, she told Felicia that her mom's "her hero." Dillon got Georgie into a wheelchair, just in time for Maxie to tell her sis, "I want to say goodbye to you." Sniff....
Reese was shocked to find her ex-husband, Evan, dead. Ric claimed that Evan tried to kill him, and mentioned "Charlotte," just as Sonny and Jason arrived. Ric claimed self-defense, and ordered them to leave since the cops were on their way. Ric then explained the situation to a suspicious Durant. Reese told Ric that she/Charlotte and Carly were high school friends and, after a fight, Reese sped off in her car, only to get hit by a drunk driver. She admitted she "had issues" with Carly, but she's over it. Ric warned her not to pursue her vendetta. Back at Sonny's, Corinthos told Reese he knows she's hiding something.
Alcazar and Diego bonded over his troubles with Carly and Sonny.
Nikolas chastised Emily for not concentrating more on their marriage. She apologized and agreed to try harder. Nik said it wasn't working so he'd give her space. Emily confided her marital woes in Sam, who told her to trust the love between her and Nik and basically said, "Go for it!" Em went to her husband and asked him to make love to her. Nik was worried, but Em said she was ready. "I trust you, with my heart and my body," she assured. Yowza! They did it!
