Maxie broke free from a gun-toting Officer Murphy, in the ensuing struggle, Jesse shot the crooked cop. He then scolded Maxie for putting her life in danger. While awaiting the ambulance, Lucky called wounded Murphy a sell-out, Murphy implied that Lucky would see his side of things when Elizabeth wanted expensive things. (Turn the knife, why don't you?) Once at the station, Mac chewed out Lucky and Jesse for putting his daughter in harm's way. They protested that they didn't realize Maxie was still there. Mac told the cops they were now partners, and Jesse gloated when he realized he was Lucky's superior. After Jesse left, Mac shared his plan with Lucky: Keep an eye on Jesse and make sure he steers clear of Maxie. On the docks, Jesse coldly told Maxie that he'd gotten what he wanted from her and had only been playing her. Maxie didn't buy it and told him she wasn't giving up.
Jax came home to find Courtney looking over decorating samples for the nursery. He asked her to start referring to the baby as their baby and reminded her that she's the one who is about to be a mother. Their tender moment was interrupted by a knock at the door; it was Liz. She had test results, she and the baby are in perfect health. While Courtney squirmed, Liz noticed the fabric swatches for the nursery and offered to throw in her "artistic two cents." A ticked Court left for an appointment. After Lucky called and told Elizabeth that he had been shot at, but was okay, her legs buckled, but Jax caught her. She confessed that Lucky's dangerous career worried her. Jax covered her with a blanket and fussed over her. She noted that Jax would spoil the baby and that a child shouldn't be handed everything. Lucky arrived and Jax promptly suggested that he transfer from street cop to a desk job for Liz's peace of mind. Jax's offer to help out financially did not go over as he intended.
Reese chided Sonny for saying he would bring in Michael, and then sending the boy away. Corinthos argued that he was protecting Reese by keeping her out of it. Reese voiced her concern that Sonny would always hold things back from her. He laid on the charm and she warmed up.
Lucky called Nikolas with the news that Emily had been hauled to the station for info on Michael's whereabouts. Em placed a call to Sonny, who arrived at the station with Reese in tow. Reese defended Emily against Durant's threats. Nikolas arrived and ushered his wife out. He was clearly irked that she'd called Sonny and noted that they don't talk anymore. Courtney, who was at the station, overheard. At home, Nik and Em continued to argue over the risk she took. Sonny entered and got in the middle of things, Cassadine turned his anger on the mobster. Em tried to break things up, "This isn't about anything, but us and our crumbling marriage," she said. Ouch! Nik slunk off and met Courtney on the docks. Reese arrived with a court order from Durant.
On the boat, Michael was surprised to see Jodie, who informed him that she had important news: He didn't kill AJ. The girl hid when Jason and Sam came along. Afterward, Michael found Jason and Sam on the deck and confessed that they were not the only ones onboard. They were puzzled as the boy explained that Jodie always seems to know where he is and that she claims to know who killed AJ. Michael brought them to his room and began speaking to Jodie — who was invisible!

Maxie snuck into Mac's office and looked into Murphy's file. Mac walked in and was furious, but Lucky entered and volunteered to investigate Maxie's claims. When Mac resisted, Maxie spat that Mac was believing a dirty cop over his own daughter. "We need facts, not possibilities," he huffed back, but he did agree to let Lucky look into the matter. She and Lucky conversed and he confessed he has his doubts. Max was ticked. Jesse arrived and said he wanted Maxie to have nothing to do with this investigation. Jesse explained his side of the story to Lucky and recounted their cabin experience. Lucky saw some merit to their story, but couldn't believe Murphy would go bad. Lucky ordered Maxie to go home to stay safe. After Lucky left, Maxie told Jesse that Lucky was fair and he'd bend the rules if he had to. And, she also said she knows he's pushing her away to protect her. They kissed. At the station, Lucky told Murphy he was meeting with Jesse. Murphy told Lucky he's clean, but Lucky went "Hmmm." At the meeting, Murphy leapt from the shadows and pulled a gun on Jesse and Lucky. And if that didn't blow his cover, he then grabbed Maxie as a hostage after she tried to get Murphy's gun away from him. Guess he's dirty after all. (Duh!) Maxie broke Murphy's grip. Jesse attacked him. They struggled over the gun.... BANG!
Carly fretted to Alcazar that she's gotten no word about Michael. Alcazar suggested either turning him in or getting him out of the country for good. She asked Lorenzo to flee with her, but he said he can't. He believed turning Michael in is in the kid's best interest.
Sonny told Reese he didn't want Michael to be branded a murderer. Reese suggested taking Durant's deal. He recounted with how humiliating it is to be arrested. "Let it be over, Sonny, so Michael can have some peace," she pleaded. He asked her to set up a meeting with Durant. She left; Emily arrived and gave him Jason and Sam's locale.
Durant told Ric no matter what everyone thinks, he loves his grandson and all he wants is for Michael to be safe. Reese arrived and told Durant that Sonny's coming. Sonny was right behind her, and set the terms for bringing Michael in — and demanded it in writing. Ric and Reese ironed out the details with Durant, while Sonny got two hours to deliver Michael.
At the grotto, Jason reassured Sam it wouldn't be much longer. Emily returned to the grotto and filled the fugitives in on their dire circumstances. She told them Sonny wanted Michael out of the country. Sonny went to fill in Carly, but not in front of Alcazar. He left the room, reluctantly, and Carly said she wanted to turn Michael in — but Sonny barked, "No! They system will eat Michael up and spit him out." Sonny assured her they'd get their son back, eventually. Carly agreed with one stipulation. She wanted to tell Michael she loved him, and asked him to take her to their son.
Jason made plans to flee the country, but with Sam's nautical experience, she insisted she's the captain. The boys agreed, matey. Then, Sonny brought Carly and Morgan to see Michael. Sonny explained the situation but Michael was brave and said he could do it. Carly had a tearful good-bye with Michael, but then said she couldn't let him go. Sonny insisted she must. Durant showed up at Alcazar's looking for Carly, who was nowhere to be found. Back at the station, Reese was distressed when Sonny didn't arrive. Durant called off the deal and admitted that after having Alcazar's place watched, he was dispatching officers to Wyndemere. The cops showed up at the grotto, but Michael, Sam and Jason were gone. The fugitives made it to the boat safely and sailed out of the harbor. Michael was then stunned to see Jodie was on the boat, too.

Sam interrupted Jason's stand-off with the cops — bearing a shotgun. Jason tied up the cops, and Carly allowed him and Sam to flee with Michael. After Sonny caught Ric and Reese in an awkward moment, Ric informed them that Durant suddenly (and suspiciously) dropped his lawsuit against the hospital. Ric and Reese headed out, just before the three fugitives arrived at Sonny's, where Jason and Sam filled in Corinthos and ordered Michael to pack. The boy didn't want to leave his home, but Sonny assured his son that going into hiding was for the best. Knock, knock, it's the cops! Michael suggested they sneak through the hole in the fence that Jodie uses. The gang agreed, and off the trio went.
Courtney continued to complain to Nikolas about feeling "irrelevant" during the upcoming surrogacy. He countered saying that at least Jax isn't repulsed by her touch. And after another round of, "Whose relationship is worse?" they parted feeling better after venting. Back at City Hall, after Jax interrupted Elizabeth and Lucky's wedding ceremony, Liz told the Aussie billionaire to back off — their union isn't about him. Lucky, however, had different thoughts. He reassured Jax they had no ulterior motives regarding the baby, and suggested they postpone the nups. Liz agreed, then crybaby Court came in. Liz calmed everyone's ruffled feathers and the couples went their separate ways. Later on the docks, Lucky and Liz privately pledged their eternal love to one another.
At the PCPD, Ric and Reese confronted Durant and demanded an answer about dropping the suit. Naturally, he ducked their questions — and noticed a special chemistry between the two. Just then, Carly was brought into custody. Carly begged her father to tell her he wasn't behind sicking the cops on Michael. He copped to it, saying siding with him was her only chance of seeing Michael again. Sonny showed up, and boy was he ticked off! Durant denied culpability in stealing the incriminating tape and surprisingly, Carly backed her father's story. "Who's side are you on," demanded Sonny of Carly. She pleaded with her ex to tell her wher e Michael is stowed, but he shot back that he doesn't trust her anymore, cutting Carly deep. Ouch!
"Stay away from me, if you think you can," spat Maxie to Jesse after he dumped her in front of Mac. The commish then suspended Jesse, as he warned Mac to keep an eye on Maxie, saying she's in danger from Murphy. On the docks, Jesse told Murphy that he was "slick" and ordered him to leave Maxie out of it. Murph laughed him off and left, and was then greeted with a hug by the Maxster. Their break-up was an act! or was it? Jesse refused to accompany Maxie to Canada, and ordered her to stay away from him for good.
"Diva of the deciding vote," Skye, appeared to break the ELQ tie, revealing that Tracy had her locked up in the broom closet. She then cast her vote for ... Alcazar. Moments later, Red was crestfallen to learn Luke had cut a deal with the new CEO promising him Skye's vote. The Q's were relieved to hear Durant dropped the suit, while on the patio, Luke broke the news to a tearful Skye that he had to leave town for a while. They shared a passionate kiss, and Luke walked away. After the family dispersed, Tracy rubbed Luke's antics in Skye's face, and downed a vodka in front of the former alkie.
With Emily's help, Jason, Sam and Michael set up camp in the grotto at Wyndemere. Em then hightailed it over to the Q's, where she met Nikolas, who "yet again" vowed they could make their marriage work. Good luck.

Dr. Meadows gave Jax and Courtney the news that Elizabeth was pregnant. Surprisingly (not!), both Courtney and Lucky were apprehensive. Jax and Court went to the hospital to see Liz, but she had left with Lucky. Jax suspected the duo went off to elope. He was right — Lucky and Liz were at City Hall, ready to wed. As Courtney complained to Nikolas that Liz was preggers, Jax showed up at the nups just as the judge said those magic words, " ... Speak now or forever hold your peace."
Durant heard Dr Thomas's tape spilling that Michael killed AJ and called the authorities, while the shrink came clean to Jason about his involvement with Alan early on. Jason was totally ticked. Then he broke the news that Michael's file with the incriminating tape was missing, and mistakenly assumed Alan was the thief. Jason showed up at the Q's and confronted his dad who was, of course, clueless. But Alan misconstrued Jason's interest and assumed that Michael had spilled that Jason was the one who killed AJ. Monica was so furious at her hubby that she said one more false accusation and she'd fly to the Dominican Republic to finalize their divorce that night. Then, Jason got a call from Dr. T's secretary, saying Durant sent over a cop to escort him the the police station. Jason realized it was Durant who took the tape. At the PCPD, Durant confronted Dr. T., who in turn, chided the D.A. on his illegal methods. Dr. T then realized Durant's warped plan — he'd blackmail Carly into convincing Sonny to get out of Michael's life, or the kid would go to jail.
Maxie told Mac that Murphy was the dirty cop, not Jesse. Of course, Murphy denied it. (He's dirty, not stupid!) Maxie then plead her case to Durant. Neither he nor Mac believed her story. Jesse ordered Maxie to stay out of the mess. Due to a lack of evidence, Mac reluctantly released Jesse. Maxie was thrilled, but Jesse told her they're through.
Nikolas went off on Emily for lying to him about wanting to give their marriage another shot.
Lorenzo showed up at Sonny's and pretty much begged Michael to visit his mom. Jodie then showed up and grilled Mikey on why he hates his stepdad. The pipsqueak said he should give Alcazar — and his mom — another chance. Michael went to Alcazar's, where Carly was overjoyed to see her firstborn. But then jason arrived and before he could whisk Michael into hiding, the cops arrived to arrest the boy. Guns were drawn. Stand off!
Tracy was ticked Luke couldn't dig up dirt on the Q's so she could use it to get their votes. She then addressed the family to win them over to keep Alcazar out of ELQ as CEO. Lorenzo showed up and Tracy called for an immediate vote, but the room realized Skye was missing, so Luke went off to find her. When he didn't return, the votes were cast. Wanna know who voted for whom? For Tracy: Tracy (no surprise there), Ned (who also cast Jax's proxy), Alan and Justus. For Lorenzo: Lorenzo (again, no shocker, but he threw in Michael's proxy from Carly as well), Monica (with Emily's proxy) and Edward. For you counters, that means 5-5, and with Skye missing, the existing CEO would keep the chair. That is, until Luke showed up with the missing redhead.

Jason stopped Dr. Thomas from talking to Mac. The doc confessed that, wanting to see his next birthday, he wasn't planning on spilling the beans to Mac that Michael was AJ's killer, and tried to convinceJason that he had nothing to worry about. And when he and Mac came face-to-face, the doc lived up to his word and kept mum.
Jason was jealous of Courtney yukking it up with Nikolas in the stables. Court admitted she doesn't want Jax hovering around Liz — she's the mother of their child, not his wife, dammit. Meanwhile, Nikolas asked Emily not to give up on them — again. Em asked for a hug — Nik complied. Then, she asked for a kiss. He obliged. Awww. Later at the hospital, Emily told Jason that even though she thinks maybe she and Nik should move on, she'd stick it out. Her eavesdropping husband wasn't at all thrilled to hear that. And, Jax and Court became the latest couple to make love in Alkie's stables. "Get a room, people," thought the horses.
Alcazar stumbled upon unconscious Carly and arranged for a helicopter to fly in to take her and Alexis to the hospital. Reese claimed that Carly had stumbled and it was an accident (which it was). But in all fairness, I wouldn't have believed her, either. By the next commercial break, they'd all made it to G.H. Tony was pulled from the mothballs to offer his diagnosis of Carly's condition to Jason. Durant rolled in and ordered Jason to stay away from his unconscious daughter. Back at the house, Alacazar barked at Reese that her "victory" over Carly would cost her. Then, Sonny caught Reese off guard when he asked her why Carly called her "Charlotte" before losing consciousness. Reese started telling Sonny the truth but then the cops arrived, signaling the bridge was fixed and the remaining party guests could finally go home. At the hospital, Ric and Alexis were relieved to learn the baby was fine — and she only had the flu! Tony gave Alcazar the good news that Carly will be fine. Alacazar told still-unconscious Carly he loved her and asked her to come back to him. She then woke up. (Wonder how he is at picking lottery numbers?) Carly said she remembered.... just as Reese and Sonny walked in. However, Carly didn't remember the Charlotte reference. Sonny and Reese left; the men advised the women to stay away from each other. They promised they would. Place your bets....
Back at the Q's, Edward chastised Tracy for letting Alcazar in the door at ELQ and Luke into the mansion. Luke choked and Tracy laughed, but Big Alice gave her crush some water. Tracy reminded Luke that if she loses CEO of ELQ to Alcazar, he'll get no 15 mil in alimony, and be stuck with her!
Durant barged in on Dr. Thomas and demanded an update on Michael. The doc wheeled him out of the room and locked up his office. But, sneaky Durant got the janitor to let him into Dr T's digs, where he STOOD UP, walked to the desk and listened to Thomas's tape stating Michael killed AJ.
