GH Recaps Week of Nov. 28, 2005

Friday, December 2, 2005
At midnight(ish) in the Garden of Good and Evil, Nik implored Emily, "Don't go!" as Coleman lurked in the hedge with a big camera. At Rose Lawn, Carly was giving Dr. Kim her Independent Woman spiel when a strangely-accented doctor appeared at the door asking to see her. Amused, Carly eyed Luke over Dr. Kim's shoulder. At GH, Sonny told Robin to find Jason some help. In Fake Hawaii, Sam and Jason were fully dressed in bed after their baby-making sex and Jason was...dead. Wait! No! Sam was just having a nightmare. Naturally, Sam started to cry. "I can't imagine my life without you!" she sniffled. "If you have our baby, just love it with all your heart," advised Jason. Meanwhile, Sonny was en route to Fake Hawaii on a plane, determined to convince Jason to have surgery. He'd take care of Jason as long as Robin found a surgeon to do the cutting. Luke-as-Dr. Von Schemermann conned Dr. Kim and Carly agreed to give the doc "valuable insight" for a book he was writing. At GH, Liz wanted to spring Lucky and whisk him away to a B&B in Vermont. Why? Because of Operation Push Destiny. ("Lizzie, you got some splainin' to do!") Back in the garden, we hope Coleman was napping since Nik and Em were just re-hashing hooking up, Zander, cancer, Connor, rape, etc.

Jax burst in on Liz and Lucky's discussion about Nikolas and Em. "No one is forcing them to do anything!" Jax pointed out. "We thought our love would last forever, but it didn't," sighed Emily. As things got angstier, Nikolas stroked her hair and Emily took his hand. Coleman finally had something to shoot! Back at Rose Lawn, Uncle Luke laid out his plan for Lorenzo's ELQ stock. "Come on, Caroline. You're a Spencer!" he urged Carly. "You and I can pull this family out of the cellar!" As Carly gave him a "What the Hell, why not?", Lorenzo knocked. Back at GH, Tony was unwilling to operate on Jason but had another surgeon in mind. Meanwhile, Sonny arrived in Hawaii, interrupting Sam and Jason hugging. Jax and Lucky sparred over Courtney's uterus and Lucky got in a last shot about Jax's unsavory methods. Back on Spoon Island, things got too intense for Emily and she ran (right past Coleman in the hedge). Luke rushed out as Carly told Lorenzo she wanted ELQ stock for alimony. Funny, Lo noted, her uncle Luke had suggested the same thing. At GH, Robin looked at the kickass neurosurgeon's file. "He performs miracles," praised Tony ("and songs like 'Jessie's Girl'...").

"You're not really mad at me, are you?" Liz asked Lucky. Naah. But Emily sure was! She burst in to dress down Liz. Elsewhere, Coleman waited till Jax paid up before handing over the camera. Carly covered for Luke and then Lorenzo accused her of wanting the cash to go after Sonny. The Dimpled Don himself offered booze to a brain injury patient as he passionately declared, "I'm not going to lose you without a fight!" As Emily got huffy over Jax's meddling, Liz wondered why Emily was so worked up. Em flounced out in denial. "I want a life of my own, come Hell or high water," Carly assured her hubby. A proud Lorenzo realized she meant it. Robin arrived to a bar that looked like Jake's, searching for a surgeon named Noah Drake. There he was...passed out, face down. In Blue Hawaii, Sonny manipulated Jason, "If you won't have the surgery for yourself, do it for Sam." Elsewhere, Lucky and Liz cuddled in the wake of her yenta-ing. Emily found Jax on the docks and blasted him about trying to push destiny. When he wondered why she was so worked up, she flounced off again! After Lorenzo agreed to give Carly the stock, Luke praised his favorite niece. Uh, not so fast. His "only niece" informed him she was keeping the stock for herself. At Not Jake's, Robin dumped a pitcher of water on Noah. The wet legend said, "That guy's dead," of Noah Drake. "Let him rest in peace." Back in Maudlin Maui, Jason told Sonny he didn't want to end up a vegetable. "I won't let you," assured Sonny. "So, what, you'll kill him?" Sam interrupted, upset. Sonny and Jason locked eyes. "If that's what he wants..."

What was the address of the bar where Robin found Noah?

Jax's hired hands gave Nikolas a tough time as he arrived at Courtney's loft, while over at GH, Jax confided to Liz his fears of losing another child. At the Qs, Tracy wanted Lulu to cough up any info she'd learned and Lu wanted some more money first. Naturally, Luke walked in. Meanwhile, a magically discharged Jason returned with perpetually tearful Sam to their fake Hawaiian beach house, admiring the fake waves and fake wind. "Do you have something on my kid or does she have something on you?" Luke asked Tracy back at Avenue Q. At the loft, Courtney threatened the guards with a restraining order and arrest and Nik excused Tyler Christopher's real-life injury by saying Helena's thugs had beaten him up while he was off committing her to a sanitarium. (As if Hells would order her grandson beaten?) Back at GH, Liz mentioned it was Nik and Emily's one year anniversary and Jax wondered if she would help him "give destiny a push." (And if he and Courtney got pushed, too...) In Fake Hawaii, Sam cried even as she promised Jason she'd stop crying. But she DID get his boots off (that's a bigger miracle than Robin getting his memory back) and suggest they go fishing. "Wouldn't it just be easier to shoot the fish?" the barefoot hitman groused.

Det. Hot Rod dragged a clueless Lorenzo into the PCPD so he, Mac and Dillon could ask him where Diego had taken Georgie. Wherever it was, Diego brandished an ax at Georgie. Relax — it was to cut off their handcuffs as she kept reaching out to him. Back at the Qs, Luke warned Tracy not to "really piss him off" and she assured him, "I will snap you like the old twig you are." At GH, Courtney interrupted Liz and Jax to chew out Jax and brandish Helena's commitment papers. For some reason, this made Jax ask Liz AGAIN to help push Nikolas and Emily together (Jax must be into masochism). At the loft, Courtney eye-rolled about Jax's overprotectiveness and Nik told her that today was his and Emily's anniversary. Then, Jax was on the docks meeting the recapper's favorite shady dude: Coleman! Jax hired Coleman to go to Wyndemere and surveil the happenings that night. Elsewhere, Dillon and Mac kept trying to jog Lorenzo's memory on Diego Hide Out Spots while Georgie kept analyzing her hunky, leather-wearing captor (All we need now are Pixi Stix...). Operation Push Destiny commenced as Liz interrupted Nik and Courtney with a call about getting holly for Cameron (apparently it grows on Spoon Island). Sure, Liz, Nik would be home soon! At GH, Lulu came to see Lucky and give him a slammin' expensive watch. "Say thanks and be happy," Lu advised her suspicious bro.

Luke called Lainey to try and see Carly about Lo's ELQ stock. The doc interrupted his banter to tell him he was on Carly's "do not allow" list. Darn! In Blue Hawaii, Sam told Jason she wanted to have his baby. Back at Retread Central, Georgie finally got through to Diego as Mac megaphoned from outside. Hopefully learning their lesson from Zander getting cut down in a hail of bullets, they left the gun inside and Georgie brought Diego out. Luke visited Lucky at GH, wondering if "my little Sweet Pea" Lulu was up to something. Well, duh, Luke. Operation Push Destiny continued as Liz sent Emily to Wyndemere to retrieve Cameron's toy. Jason wasn't so hot on Sam's Baby Idea, given that he was, you know, DYING. At the PCPD, Brook slapped Diego and Maxie refused his "I'm sorry." A regretful Lorenzo asked his son for a chance to "be the father that you deserve," and Diego broke down in his arms. Jax showed up at the loft to apologize to Courtney and wonder about Nik's location. Of course that was the Wyndemere garden — where Emily arrived. The exes quickly realized the Liz/Cameron/holly set-up for their anniversary. Crying again, Sam reminded Jason that this whole deal was unfair. "You may have to leave me but you don't have to leave me alone," she pleaded. Moved, he took her hand and led her into the house....

Robin told Sam that Jason's test results were poor, so he needed to stay in the hospital or face a relapse. Meanwhile, Sonny lamented to Jason that Carly is "an empty shell of herself," but vowed to care for her until she died. An eavesdropping Carly fled in tears to the roof (pursued by Courtney). Ever the optimist, Jason suggested Sonny would reconcile with Carly. Sam arrived and chased Sonny before telling Jason he has to stay hospitalized. She also suggested that Robin still has feelings for him, and that worried her. Jason reassured Sam that he loves her and hopped out of bed to prove how strong he was — then collapsed. Meanwhile, Courtney ratted out Carly to Sonny, who found her perched on a ledge. Carly said she wouldn't kill herself over his "pompous ass." When she said, "I'm not your guilty obligation anymore," Brainiac figured out she overheard him. She insisted his "hurtful words" empowered her and vowed to get her "pathetic" self away from him, because he's "poison." Downstairs, Monica suggested Jason's body was rejecting the treatments, and suggested surgery. But Jason still feared becoming a vegetable, going blind or dying, so he threw everyone out and told Sam he wanted to try this "his way" (suddenly he's Frank Sinatra?). He offered to take Sam back to Maui, breathe the air, watch the sunset, and lie on a beach with her. (Oh, he's Hef!) She mouthed "I love you," and they cuddled. At docks, Robin sobbed to Mac about the prospect of watching Jason die, just like Stone.

Sonny and Emily rejoiced that Jason's treatment is working, and they smooched. HA! IN YOUR DREAMS! Well, they did in Emily's dream, at least. Awake and shaken, she poured herself a Big Gulp of Scotch, but Elizabeth arrived before she could drink herself into a coma with that much booze. Emily admitted to having a "disturbing" dream (not a drinking problem). Liz suggested Emily was having nightmares about Reese dying, and Emily agreed. Emily went back to sleep (did she down that drink after all?) and dreamed again. Now Monica, Carly and Elizabeth accused her of burying feelings for Sonny. Then Sonny appeared and kissed her, so she realized it was a dream — just as the real Sonny woke her up. He suggested she was running from a medical career. Emily agreed maybe running from what she was dreaming about isn't the answer.

Luke suggested Alcazar make a pre-emptive alimony offer to Carly — one involving ELQ stock. When Tracy arrived Luke tried to "pamper" her, but a suspicious Tracy seized the Spencer family jewels (no, not the Ice Princess) and demanded to know his intentions. Her torture was interrupted by Lulu, giving Luke the opportunity to flee (limp) away. Tracy asked Lulu to help get rid of Skye or she'd make Lulu's life in the mansion hell, but the teen was "not interested." Later, Luke warned Lulu not to spit in Tracy's eye, but rather watch and learn from the master (him). Then he filled her in on the scam he's running: He'll get Alcazar to give Carly ELQ stock, then Luke will manipulate the impressionable Carly to strike at the Quartermaines where it hurts. Lulu went to Tracy and offered to help her — for a price.

Diego rationalized to Georgie that if only Daddy realized Diego had guts (well, the guts to drug and exploit girls, anyway) everything would be okay. Sympathetic to Daddy issues, Georgie suggested surrendering to her father, but Diego asked her to remain his hostage. As they exited the Pizza Shack (having few sets really limits a criminal's choice of hideouts) JumpStreet Jesse jumped ugly with a gun, prompting Diego to put his gun to Georgie's head. Dillon tried to calm Diego by suggesting Sage wasn't a nice girl, and deserved to get stabbed. (Um, thanks, Dillon.) Diego decided to push Georgie and make a run for it. Guess what: It worked! JumpStreet "lost him" even though Diego was right in front of him. Fearing for bad-boy Diego's life, Georgie bolted — and Dillon lost her, too. Georgie found Diego at the docks (see, those damn limited sets!) and handcuffed herself to him.

Back at Rose Lawn, Dr. Winters warned Carly that the van was coming to cart her off to Shady Brook. Carly begged for a chance to prove herself — on condition that she be home and healthy by Christmas.

Troubled Robin watched sleeping Jason and Sam and then woke them up with updated test results. Diego grabbed Georgie in a very rebellious manner as Dillon flipped out and pleaded, "take me!" (Pshaw, Dillon. That won't have the same dramatic impact.) At the Qs, Luke warned Skye to watch her back as Lu said "no thanks" to aligning with Tracy. At Rose Lawn, Lorenzo knew exactly why Carly wanted out: Sonny. At Greystone, a flustered Emily pulled away from the Sonny hug and filled him in on Carly and her break from med school. Sonny chided her about the sabbatical. Back at Rose Lawn, Carly wasn't thrilled about Lo lobbying for her independence from Sonny. She told Lorenzo if he wouldn't help her, she wanted a divorce! Back at Kelly's, Diego got Mike to cough up cash and car keys and then whisked Georgie out. At Avenue Q, Tracy tried to cut a deal with Lulu to oust Skye from Luke's life. And Lu turned on Tracy when Luke and Skye appeared in the foyer. At GH, Sam was perturbed by Robin being underwhelmed at Jason's progress, but Jason was upbeat. "There's nothing to worry about," he assured, clearly jinxing things. Back at Castle Greyskull, Sonny allayed Em's fears about letting Reese die, telling her to focus on all the people she could save...and then Michael yanked Sonny away to make Jason a card. Aww!

At Rose Lawn, Carly and Lorenzo kept fighting over her Sonnymania. "You're just mad because I'm not obsessed with you!" Carly accused. "Your obsession has led you nowhere," a sad Lorenzo pointed out. Just like his Carly obsession. He agreed to divorce her and walked out. At Kelly's, as Dillon worried over Georgie, Mac told Jesse to stay out of Diego's case or his badge was bye-bye! At the Qs, Luke wasn't as interested in the "shackles of fatherhood" as he was in Tracy's $15 million. Hearing this, an unhappy Skye slammed out. Back at Rose Lawn, Courtney dropped by for a visit and Carly pumped her for info on Sonny and Emily in between the baby gossip and "I miss you"s. Naturally, the visit did nothing for Carly's suspicions, so, afterward, Carly splashed herself with water and called for a doctor. At GH, Jinxy Jason suggested he and Sam get married ASAP but she wanted to wait. Back at the nut hatch, Dr. Dummy totally fell for Carly's strategic shirt-unlacing, loosened pants, and thermometer-in-the-light trick. She was burning up! Oh, my! Clearly she needed to go to GH! There, Sonny and Jason got a chance to re-connect and be warm and fuzzy about Jason's memory returning. "Don't push yourself," Sonny warned. He didn't want another relapse. "Did something happen to Carly?" Jason wondered.

Dr. Dummy checked Carly into GH and Courtney caught her trolling the hall! Meanwhile, Sam asked Robin for the real deal on Jason's test results and Sonny filled Jason in on Crazy Carly's Extreme Makeover shenanigans. Jason was amused. Sonny...not so much. He pointed out that Jason had missed The Big Breakdown. Courtney begrudgingly spilled Jason's room number — 632 — to Carly, who promised to skip back to the funny farm as soon as she got the Soily Scoop from her best bud. At the Qs, Luke contemplated getting ELQ stock as leverage against Tracy and Lorenzo dropped by looking for Skye. When his nephew-in-law mentioned his impending divorce, Luke perked up. Say, what was he considering giving as alimony? Weary Lorenzo said Carly could have anything she wanted. Ooo. Maxie and Jesse headed to the Pizza Shack to sleuth. Go figure, Georgie and Diego were actually there! And Georgie urged the Tormented Teen to turn himself in. At GH, Robin 'fessed up to Sam that Jason could relapse. At Sonny's, Emily replayed getting the happy Jason news — this time topped off with a sizzling Sonny smooch! She bolted upright, shocked. Meanwhile, Sonny filled Jason in on Carly's breakdown and what caused it. "It became all about me," he bemoaned. "It's not about love. It's desperation." Carly, lurking outside the door, heard him call her an "empty shell" and admit the love was gone. Ouch!

As Lulu moved in to Avenue Q, Luke warned her that wicked stepma Tracy was already polishing the apples. Thankfully, Alice was happy to give Lu the same care she gave "Mr. Luke." As Tracy ranted about Lu going back to her "barn full" of relatives, Luke told "Buttercup" to back off. Lulu marveled at Tracy's toxic snarkiness and prettily thanked Skye for her compassion. Proud papa Luke accused his baby girl of scamming softhearted Skye. "You are a Spencer to the bone, Lesley Lu," he praised. An insulted Lulu got teary and was comforted by Skye again — as Luke kept beaming at her con job. Later, Luke warned Skye not to underestimate his daughter. A valid warning since, in the foyer, Lu was rifling through her champion's purse and stealing cash. Tracy caught her red-handed. "Welcome to my family," said Stepma, impressed.

At GH, Sam and Sonny walked in and caught Robin and Jason red-handed...er, red-lipped. Awkward! Sonny dragged Robin into the hall for a little chat. "I'm a professional!" assured Robin. Uh-huh. So why had she kissed him? "Jason was delirious!" Riiight. Sonny warned her not to set herself up to get hurt. Inside, Sam kept vigil by Jason's side and he awoke and told her he was okay. Aww! Tony checked out the hitman and confirmed the self-diagnosis. Tony was so proud of Robin for her mad medical skillz! So was Sonny. And so was Jason, as he told his ex he'd known she'd be an amazing doctor. But it was Sam who got to crawl into Jason's hospital bed and cuddle as their song, "Just You and Me" played. As the duo relaxed, Robin was troubled by Jason's test results...

At Kelly's, the Teen Scene caught up on Diego being The Perv. "Shut up!" gasped Georgie. "Ohmahgawd, Guys!" gushed Brook as she explained that Lorenzo was turning Diego in. Sure enough, the Lamenting Lothario dragged his stalking son to the PCPD. The teen pointed out Papi was shady, too, and Papi countered that the lesson was "don't be like me" before handing the boy over to Mac. JumpStreet Jesse marveled at Diego's stalkerish turn. Lorenzo told Jesse to lay off but Diego wasn't so happy with Dad's defense: "Some day, Dad, you're going to rot in Hell and I'll celebrate." Back at Kelly's, Georgie admitted she kinda understood Diego's justification. Brook stormed out in response — and Maxie Storms-ed into the PCPD to yell at Diego. JumpStreet tried to wrangle Maxie as Diego mocked her. In the ensuing kerfuffle, Diego grabbed a gun and bolted. JumpStreet assured Mac that Diego wouldn't get far. But he got to Kelly's — and held the place up. Mike pulled a shotgun from behind the counter. So, Diego one-upped him by grabbing Georgie as a hostage...

At Rose Lawn, Emily was baffled by Carly's assertion that she was falling for the Dimpled Don. Carly gushed about Sonny's virtues (Like shooting pregnant women in the head?) and said Em had planted herself at Sonny's and "put down roots." "Perfect Saint Emily," spat Carly, "deeply wounded by her husband's cheating ways." Em snarked, "Carly, I just came back to get the hat!" The two women went 10 rounds on the hotness of Sonny, Carly drinking the Kool-Aid, and Emily's feelings. Lorenzo's arrival allowed Em to flee back to Greyskull...and allowed Carly to pretend she and Em had been fighting about Jason. "Jason treats you like an equal," Lorenzo observed. "I think the key to any relationship is to trust the other person with the best and the worst part of you," Carly mused. At Greyskull, Monica wanted to know why Emily had taken a leave from med school. Was she shtupping Sonny? No! Em reminded her of Reese's death. She'd dropped out of school "because I'm just not good enough to be a doctor." Back at Rose Lawn, Carly begged a wary Lorenzo to help her go home. Of course, AT home, Sonny told an ecstatic Emily that Jason had woken up. The duo hugged happily and a very warm and fuzzy Emily pulled back...
