GH Recaps Week Of Feb. 6, 2006

Friday, February 10, 2006
Noah and Robin pumped Luke for more magic serum and Elizabeth checked up on her father-in-law. "You married into very strong, stubborn stock," Luke told her, urging her to stay strong for Lucky. Jax returned to Port Charles and found Mike collapsing at Kelly's. "Courtney!" Mike gasped, panicked. Emily tended to Sonny and Nikolas as Tony was wheeled by. A worried Patrick urged at-risk Robin once again to bail. "I'm in for the duration," she told him, stubbornly. Jason came back from sleuthing to find Carly faking fever. It was a crazy plan to get into the labs and Jason wasn't havin' it, no sirree! In his lab, Evil Scientist Guy was giddy as Lucky got closer to dying. "Try and set a better example," Alan joked at a dying Tony. Tony laughed and then cut short Bobbie's assurances to Lucas that he'd be fine. "You and I know from experience sometimes people you love leave for work or school and they never come back," he reminded (as the recapper reached for Kleenex). Mike passed out before he could clue Jax in on Courtney's location. Sonny and Nikolas traded some barbs and then Lulu wheeled in to visit and mused that Nik might get the next dose. Emily met Sonny's eyes meaningfully over the teen's head (Does that mean he won't? Hmm.).

As the EMTs wheeled Mike away, Jax left a message for Carly and then kept searching. "Your plan, my way," Jason finally relented after some quality shouting with Carly. Lulu visited Luke, telling him Mom would've been proud, and confiding that "Uncle Tony" was in bad shape. "Our moral records carry more weight than our medical ones?" Sonny wondered as Emily angsted about the serum distribution. Back on the island, the Crylium guys snagged faux-fevered Carly and shot things in case Jason was hiding in a throw pillow. "Let's not kid anybody," Sonny told Emily. "I'm not an innocent man." "I can't lose you because I love you,' she confessed to him — as Nik heard from the hall. "You stand tall," Tony told Lucas, confiding his pride in his son as Luke listened in. Then Luke and his "Doc Ex-Bro-in-Law" shared good-byes. "You have a hell of a journey," Luke urged him, fondly. "You're a part of me forever," Bobbie told Tony. Then, Tony gasped in wonder: "She's here. BJ. She says it's time to go." He quietly joined BJ. Patrick arrived too late with serum and called Time of Death: 3:52. Later, alone, Bobbie held Tony's hand and told him, "I will carry you with me until BJ comes for me, too." (We interrupt this recap for a cry-mmercial break...) Armed with extra serum, a grim Patrick found Emily and asked for her help: The next candidates on the list were Sonny and Nikolas (No Alexis? Ric? Sam?).

The Crylium henchmen carried Carly into the lab. Unfortunately, as she tried to rescue Lucky, Evil Scientist Guy caught her red-handed. He copped to working for some investors who intended to get rich off the cure. "This will either save your cousin or kill him," ESG announced as he injected Lucky. Back in Port Charles, Luke comforted his nephew and namesake, Lucas. "Never bow to ignorance," he told the grieving boy. "You're perfect just the way you are." Lucky didn't seem to be improving, so Evil Scientist Guy (He's such a James Bond villain!) advanced on Carly and injected her. Jason burst in, opening fire and pointing out that injecting Carly with the cure was pointless. Duh, the wounded ESG cackled, that's why he'd given her the virus!! Emily waffled, pancaked, and syruped over choosing between the men she loved, so Patrick went for the standard coin toss method. He flipped the coin in the air and it fell....

Where did Tony say he and Bobbie were married?

At GH, Danny pulled a delusional Alexis off of Sam. Jason (armed with Lucky's badge) and Carly arrived to "Dr. von Schemermann"'s old room on the Maarkam Islands, demanding answers. Elsewhere, a restrained Lucky faced an evil scientist guy who wanted to use him as a guinea pig. Liz rushed to get help as Lorenzo and Skye steadied Lulu through a seizure while Luke demanded serum for Lulu at gunpoint. "Given we're all going to die anyway, take your best shot," Robert growled. "You say you'll marry me, that's a reason to live," Dillon told a tearful Georgie, awaiting her answer. Ric pulled Danny away and realized that Alexis was off her rocker with fever. Tony's beeper going off with the news of Lulu's dire condition interrupted Robert and Luke's showdown. "Give my little girl a chance to live," Luke pleaded. The council members stared at each other, torn. "I will marry you right this minute," Georgie assured Dillon. As Ric tried to calm Alexis, she mentioned a "secret" she could no longer keep. Hmmm. Jason and Carly surmised that Crylium Industries would have to have a cure if they made the virus. Lucky got free and tried to snag some of it but collapsed. Tony informed Luke that Lulu's organs were failing and Bobbie urged Luke to say what he needed to say. Grief-stricken, Luke stumbled out.

Maxie checked in on Dillon and Georgie, who told her about their impending nuptials. They urged her to go get Father Coates and lie that Georgie is 18. "We're not Catholic so I guess it's not a sin," she relented. In the conference room, Patrick caustically accused Robin of picking him to distribute serum because he had no heart. They snarked over their medical skills and deadbeat dads. Patrick revealed that he'd already objectively picked four patients — and Lulu wasn't one of them. Alexis told Ric that...he's Kristina's father! She thought he was Sonny (oops). Sam tucked Danny back into bed and passed out after putting on a brave face for him. Tony corralled Sam and Ric but began to get woozy and erratic. Jason and Carly checked up on the gang at GH and chided Max for letting Michael go AWOL (again). Robin pointed out to Patrick that they could safely take two ccs away from each dose and have a fifth dose — one for Lulu. "No guts, no glory," she told the brilliant but suddenly doubtful doctor.

Luke came back to Lulu's side but refused to let her go. (Maybe he should sing "Don't Fence Me In"?) "Please do a tired old man a huge favor and fight," he urged. Then, Robin arrived with serum! Patrick interrupted Robert's call to his superiors and told him about the five-way split — crediting Robin with the idea. Jason and Carly argued. "We're a team and I'm not leaving!" Carly told him. Georgie snagged some flowers from the nurses' station and told Maxie this was the right time to follow her heart while Lucas checked up on Dillon's resolve and they shared some laughs. At the nurses' station, Robert gave Robin props for her "good call." "I'm part of the problem," Tony dizzily told Liz, confessing he was infected. Meanwhile, Lulu's temperature dropped and she awoke. "That was quite a scam you pulled," Luke chided her, relieved. Father Coates presided as Georgie prepared to wed a bed-ridden Dillon — and Tracy burst in, objecting "with every fiber of my being." Sam had a nightmare, crying out "Mom," and roused Alexis with her cries. Jason and Carly tracked down Anton Rush's buddy at Crylium as he geared up to inject Lucky with their latest trial drug. "Let him go," Jason told the Evil Scientist Guy via phone. The ESG mockingly told Jason to call again when he and Carly got sick, "so I can save your useless life."

Noah and Bobbie frantically tried to save Luke. Lorenzo's guilt over stealing serum from Lulu wasn't enough to make him confess to Skye. Manny visited an ailing Sam. In the committee, Alan seconded Robert's opinion, saying Sonny preyed on "law-abiding citizens," and huffy Emily burst in. Nik and Sonny engaged in some mid-fever snark in their room while Emily defended her beloved mobster's right to treatment. Alan countered that she wasn't a physician and booted her out. Roomie Alexis nixed Sam's claim to Jesse that Manny had come after her. Luke revived after a pep talk from Noah about glory, champagne and women. A lightbulb went on for Liz and she confronted Lorenzo about Lulu's chart. "You alone are the center of your own universe," Nikolas accused Sonny, pointing out that pushing Em away would only make her fight harder. Elsewhere, Robin agreed with Em's assessment of Sonny, reminding Robert of Stone's death, of Sonny's support. "Sonny will mean more to me than you ever will," she told her deadbeat dad.

Emily and Sonny made googly eyes at each other while Nik watched and then Emily pleaded for Monica to get Sonny back on the list for the serum. Alexis pointed out to Sam and Jesse that Manny was "following the terms of his parole" by working at GH. Luke was upset to hear his procedure hadn't been completed and wanted to try it again but Noah and Bobbie told him to wait. Skye's heart broke for delirious Lulu as, outside, Liz blasted Lorenzo for saving Skye at Lu's expense. Bobbie helped a weak Luke toward the room. Seeing Luke's precarious condition, Liz kept silent. "You're the one who's going to have to live with what you did," she told Lorenzo. "I'm glad we got a chance to know each other," Lu told her dad. "How would you feel if Manny were in the pediatric ward watching your babies?" Sam asked Alexis. Emily railed at both Alan and Monica about Sonny. Alan admitted they'd all be better off with Sonny dead. "Mob boss with a heart of gold," Nik called Sonny, who shot back that Nik hadn't been there for Em after her rape. "It's been great," a dying Lu assured Luke. "You're going to fight this and you're going to win," Luke hissed, refusing to lose either one of his kids.

Jesse told Manny he didn't buy his "guardian angel crap" and then collapsed in his arms. Sam and Alexis each grew more erratic, flashing back to the stem cell story. Alan implored Emily to think of all the people in the hospital suffering and "let it go." Ric stumbled up, boggling at the judgment call on Sonny. Elsewhere, Sonny and Nik were on Round 10 of the Emily Debate (albeit with "inside voices"). Skye apologized for receiving the meds instead of Lulu and Liz shot Lorenzo a Meaningful Look. Luke kissed his ailing child and left, eyeing the gun in Jesse's holster as he scooped the sick cop onto a gurney. Lorenzo popped by the chapel and pleaded with God to save Lulu. Hysterical Alexis pleaded with Sam for her baby's stem cells. Back at the committee, Ric and Emily returned to defend Sonny. Faced with the realization that they all had stakes in who was treated, Monica suggested one impartial person make the final call for each case. Robin nominated a surprised Patrick. Sam tried to get through to Alexis and Danny yanked Alexis off his sister. Sonny brought up Lily to Nikolas, not wanting Emily to meet the same fate. As guilty Lorenzo tended to Skye, Lulu began convulsing, her heart monitor going wild. "Here's your first commandment," a gun-toting Luke told newly-elected God, Patrick, "my daughter gets the serum or somebody in this room dies."

Seven hours after the virus' onset, Lorenzo overheard Emily suggesting she and Liz "juggle" the order of people being treated. Tossing her medical ethics aside (such as they are), Emily admitted she loved both Sonny and Nikolas and couldn't watch them die. Luke confided to Bobbie, "the party was worth the pain" if it saved Lulu. In Lu and Skye's room, Lorenzo tried to ignore Lulu's plaintive cries for Luke and angsted over Skye's condition. "Kid, you do that again and I'll hand you your butt!" Robert growled after Jesse grabbed him trying to find out who took Lucky. Robert mused that it was whoever "developed this virus in the first place." "Why would they take Lucky?" Liz asked. Masked men refused to answer that same question for Lucky, drugging him silent. Rush got "hands on" with faux hooker Carly and then Jason emerged with his gun. Maxie guided sick Danny out of isolation even as Georgie warned her that she was vulnerable due to her heart transplants. Michael recruited Georgie in his next isolation-escape plot as Emily kept caring for her menfolk. Lorenzo didn't want Skye to "come in second" and switched her and Lulu's charts. Sure enough, Patrick and Robin noted Skye's dire straits. AWOL Georgie burst in on Tracy at Dillon's bedside.

Delirious Nikolas flashed back to the hotel fire, proclaiming his love for Emily as Sonny listened. Liz updated Luke on Lucky's mysterious predicament. "Anybody ask Robert Scorpio what's going on?" he wondered. Robert headed a council meeting deciding serum distribution. After some "encouragement" from Jason, Rush revealed he'd been paid by Crylium Industries to transport the chimp. Michael called and Carly was shocked to realize he was running free (again). Hearing that Lulu hadn't gotten treatment, Luke blamed Robert's agency for the outbreak . Robert reminded Luke that his own child was HIV positive and at risk. The two old pals clashed. Robin gave Skye the first dose as Lorenzo hovered. Emily calmed Nikolas and Sonny praised her medical skills (such as they are). Rush's men found him and he made a call to a strange scientist guy. AWOL Michael called Carly again and Liz used the chance to tell Jason about the virus being man-made and the creators snagging Lucky. Monica caught Tracy and Alan trying to doctor Dillon's charts. Luke demanded Bobbie filter his plasma again so Lulu would get a dose. Emily remained torn between delirious Nik and lucid Sonny as Michael shared Jason and Carly's plans to find the old Crylium labs in the Maarkam islands. Liz gave Luke the same news but all he wanted was to cure Lulu.

Dillon told Tracy he would've refused the dose anyway. "This is not the Titanic!" Tracy told him — and he was getting on the lifeboat! Monica narc'ed on Alan's tampering and Robert concluded that they did need to consider who the patients were. "You're saying we should decide who's good enough to live?" Patrick boggled. Dillon fantasized that he and Georgie were Jack and Rose (thank you, Tracy). "Marry me," he urged. Michael worried about sick Sonny getting medicine as Carly and Jason headed to the islands. Lucky awoke in a lab and saw — the chimp! Rush's scientist pal informed Lucky he was a new test subject. The council debated who deserved the serum and Robert mentioned the local criminal element. "This man's importance is measured with a decimal point!" he said of Sonny — as Emily listened. Skye's condition improved as Lulu kept crying for her dad. In Luke's room, Noah and Bobbie filtered his blood again and Luke's pressure crashed...

Jason and Carly ducked gunfire from the goons who'd spirited the chimp away and then the cranky SWAT team whipped out their guns. "You're the only chance we've got," Robert informed Luke, as he and Patrick decided to make a serum from Luke's blood. Elsewhere, Lorenzo got snippy with the overburdened Liz over Skye's condition and Emily tended to a delirious Sonny. Carly and Jason deflected SWAT and Jason called Justus to trace the monkeymobile's plates. Monica asked Emily to consider leaving the hospital but Em refused and then confided to Liz about the fake Sonny/Carly kiss. In the GH cafeteria, Michael and Danny bonded and Max warned the kid not to run off (You know what that means!). Worried about Dillon, Georgie lashed out at Tracy. As Tracy and the gang sniped, Michael and Danny went AWOL (of course). Jesse found a feverish Lucky out in the snow. Noah, Robert, and Patrick prepped an antsy Luke and Robin delivered the grim news that more people were getting sick — like Alexis and Ric! "Mommy, what's wrong with Daddy Ric?" a bewildered Kristina trilled, shoving at her passed out parent. Jesse carried Lucky back into cabin and started to warm him up (no, not like that!) but his phone battery died as he updated Liz.

"I'm not afraid of an acid flashback," Luke cracked as the gang hovered over him and warned him about side effects of his procedure. Patrick warned Noah away because of his failing health, not wanting his father compromised. Lorenzo moved on to haranguing Alan about Skye's condition. "Why are you still in the hall?" Emily (finally) asked sick Nikolas, and then *she* hassled Alan, who refused to play favorites. Elsewhere, Michael visited with Sonny. Jason learned that the monkeymobile belonged to a bigwig named Anton Rush and Carly assured Justus that Lainey was fine. Under the influence, Luke had a vision of dead Lulu. Jesse tried to comfort Lucky with news of rescue but the masked guys who arrived weren't "calvalry." Bobbie urged Liz to stay strong and focused and Ric and Alexis were brought in. Sam went on the move after seeing a news report about Jason's kerfuffle in the parking lot, interrupting a potential Patrick/Robin Moment, and Patrick hustled her back to her room. Jason refused to let Carly go back inside and risk infection. They resolved to go find Anton Rush, who was hanging at Metro Court (how convenient!) — but not before Carly called inside and realized Em was hovering over Sonny. The masked men snagged Lucky, knocked out Jesse, and set the cabin on fire.

After Noah left with Luke's antibodies, Lorenzo kept on his tear, blasting Luke for causing the outbreak. "Back away from my husband!" Tracy snapped. Sam threw a hissy fit when she realized Alexis was her new roomie. "You're acting like a child," Patrick told her. Jason broke into Rush's room and found a CD labeled "Crylium Industries" while Carly replaced a hooker that Rush had hired. Michael returned to the cafeteria but he didn't reveal that Danny, too, had gone AWOL. "Old softies" Tracy and Luke bonded after she booted Lorenzo. Jesse fled the burning cabin, worried about his boyfriend...er, his partner...er, Lucky. Emily created some strange bedfellows when she stashed Nik with Sonny. Danny snuck back into isolation but he didn't feel so hot. The doctors had the first sampling of Luke's antibodies but realized they had a problem: How were they going to distribute it? When it came to playing God, "Tonight we really take on the role," Patrick realized — as Emily eavesdropped. Justus informed Jason that Crylium Industries had a connection to the Maarkam islands while faux hooker Carly hit on — and up — Rush. "Who are you?" Lucky deliriously asked his captors. Jesse stormed into GH and grabbed Robert: "What have you people done to Lucky?" Emily told Liz about Luke's antibodies, suggesting they "juggle" things to get the people they loved treated first and Lorenzo overheard the idea...
