GH Recaps Week of Feb. 27, 2006

Friday, March 3, 2006
Sonny phoned Emily and asked if they could meet, as Carly commented to Em, "Wow, look at that smile. You must have gotten some good news." Em covered her conversation, to not tip off Carly that she was talking to Sonny. The lovers planned to meet later at the guest house, then hung up. At Sonny's, Michael and Morgan were all ready to go to Carly's for the night, and Sonny headed to the hospital for a check up.

At their apartment, Alexis told Ric she doesn't want to approach the child she gave up for adoption, but would like to know what happened to her. Ric told Alexis he'd need info to start the search. She said Mikkos took care of everything, and said she never informed the baby's father that she'd gotten pregnant. Ric suggested starting with the clinic where she gave birth. As Ric surfed the Internet, Alexis endured Survivor's guilt because she got the antidote and Danny didn't.

Grieving Sam told Jason that she wished she had some pictures of her and her deceased brother, Danny, as children. Then she dropped the bombshell that she's adopted. She questioned her entire life, stating, "I don't know who I am ... my life has been a lie." Jason suggested searching for answers, but Sam refused. She said she's afraid to find out about her past. She then got ready for Danny's memorial. At the cemetery, Sam silently cried and recalled Danny's last words to her during the short, simple ceremony. Afterward, Sam told Jason that Danny and her deceased baby girl are now together. Jason concurred. Unbeknownst to them, Alexis arrived with Ric in order to lay flowers on Danny's grave. Ric told his wife that she must let go of her guilt. Sam shared beautiful sentiments alone at Danny's grave when Alexis approached. Sam stood, glared at her and spat, "How dare you show up here when you killed my brother."

At the cemetery, Maxie found Nikolas after his car hit black ice on the road and spun out. (He suffered cuts on his forehead.) He lamented to Maxie about his behavior at Courtney's memorial, and Maxie offered sage advice about seeking closure. He noted that Court doesn't have a grave; she was cremated. Maxie brought Nikolas to the hospital to be examined, just as Sonny arrived and caught Emily and Nik together. Sonny covered his jealousy and went ahead with his appointment. Carly apologized to Sonny for her jealous behavior regarding Emily and told him she'd be backing off. (If she only knew.... ) Maxie waited for Nikolas and once he was bandaged, he thanked Maxie for her advice and said he had an idea to get come closure.

Robin paid Jax a visit and got to meet his son. Jax gave Carly credit for helping out, shocking Robin. Robin warned him that Carly is not to be trusted. "Carly is No. 1 in her life and always will be," scoffed Robin. "There's no one who can get under my skin like that woman." Jax spoke up in Carly's defense, saying he believed her motives with John are genuine.

Patrick noticed Noah's condition was deteriorating. Later, he chastised Robin for returning to work, saying if anything happened to her, it would make him look bad. After he updated Robin on Noah's condition, he asked her to talk to his dad about going through with the liver transplant. She was surprised by the request. Noah overheard and he and Patrick got into an argument. Noah stormed off.

Bobbie told Carly that it's still hard after Tony's death, but she'll get through it. In a clever yet cheesy plug for, "the Academy Awards on ABC," Carly teared up when she told her mother she was going to call Courtney to watch the Oscars, but couldn't. Bobbie volunteered to come over in Courtney's place to watch the show and critique the dresses with her. Carly said yes and thanked her mom. She then went to visit Jax and baby John. Realizing she was going to be late picking up the kids, she called Leticia to let her know. Jax told John that they were both very lucky to have Carly in their lives.

At the guest house, Sonny and Emily embraced. Though they hated their relationship a secret, they agreed to continue to do so. They started getting busy, just as Michael and Morgan approached the door.

On the day of Courtney's funeral, Sonny asked Emily to say a prayer for him and Mike. He said he didn't know how they'd get through the day.

Jax visited with baby John in the hospital. Carly came in to check on the infant — and Jax. She told him that she brought his shaving kit and a change of clothes. Jax appeared touched by the gesture. Sonny came to the hospital and found a weepy Carly in John's room. He expressed his regret that he and Courtney weren't closer. Carly assured him that Court knew how much her brother loved her. He bent down to visit with his nephew and said he would always provide for the boy. He thanked Carly for taking care of the baby. She said that she was the closest thing he had to a mother and wanted to be sure John knew she loved him. "He knows, he knows," Sonny said quietly. Jax entered and told Sonny he didn't realize he'd be stopping by. Sonny asked if it was okay. Jax said it was. Sonny took off for the church, but offered Jax his help with John anytime. He then apologized for Jax's loss and any interference he may have caused in his and Courtney's lives. "We all have a right to be with whoever we want," Sonny said. After Sonny walked out, Jax commented that the mobster actually sounded sincere. Carly suggested she and Jax raise John together.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Alcazar visited with a bed-ridden Skye, who insisted she was okay. Drs. Robin and Kelly came in with the results of her blood work and announced there was no trace of the virus in her system. "What's wrong with me?" Skye asked. Kelly told her she was pregnant. The docs could tell she was surprised and left the room. Skye asked for some time alone to process the news. Alcazar asked if there was a paternity question. "No," Skye said. "Then I need a moment to process this, too," he noted. Skye then revealed that years earlier, she had an accident while drunk that left her with a condition that would make it hard for her to have children, so she wanted this baby.

Robin called Sam and revealed that the DNA tests revealed that she and Danny were not biologically related.

Emily and Lucky came by Wyndemere to get Nikolas. They were alarmed to find the living room trashed, with no sign of Nikolas because he was passed out behind the couch. They left.

Mike arrived at the church. Father Coates comforted him. Lainey and Justus offered their condolences. Janine, Courtney's mother, walked in; Mike was shocked to see her. Janine berated Mike for not calling to invite her. (Carly did.) He told her to zip it. Michael came in and ran to Mike. Lucky and Liz came in and were worried at Nik's no show. Jason came in next. Ric and Alexis filed in, followed by Jax and Carly. Alan and Monica were there, too. Jax walked to the front to stare at the blown-up portrait of his late wife. Coleman arrived; Carly asked what he was doing there. "To pay my respects ... I admired her," he explained. The service began. Nikolas walked in. A hush fell over the room. He walked to the blow-up of Courtney, then addressed the mourners. "Look at all of you, pretending to grieve for Courtney," he began. "It would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic." One by one, he verbally attacked Sonny, Janine, Alan, Jason, Jax, then the crowd in general. Liz urged him to stop. He spewed some more, then walked out. Mike got up to eulogize his daughter, but couldn't get through the speech. Sonny took over. He urged the crowd to care for John and give the baby the best of themselves. Carly spoke next. When the service was over, Ric spoke with Sonny. Carly and Jax lit candles. After, she spoke with Jason and admitted that she could use a friend. They embraced.... Jax recalled his and Courtney's wedding.... Sonny shook his father's hand. Both men had tears in their eyes.... Nikolas returned home. He poured himself a drink, but didn't drink it. He retrieved a wooden box from a chest of drawers. In it were photos of him and Courtney. He broke down in tears. He then put all of the photos on the floor and remembered loving moments with Courtney.... Jason went home and recalled past moments with Court, too.

At the Quartermaines, Luke and Lulu shared a hug as they prepared to leave for Tony's memorial service. Tracy entered and announced that she set up a scholarship in Tony's name, but was far from thrilled to learn that Georgie spent the night. Dillon pointed out that, as his wife, Georgie will be spending every night at the mansion. "When pigs fly," responded Tracy. Alice answered the door to Mac, who sided with Tracy on the newlyweds' living arrangements. The foursome tabled the argument until after the service. Dillon vowed not to be pushed around by his monster, er, mother, any more. "I have been crushing marriages since before you were born," she threatened. "End it on your terms, before I end it on mine."

Bobbie visited B.J.'s grave and asked her deceased daughter for strength. Then, her live daughter, Carly, showed up unexpectedly. "I knew you'd be here," Carly said. Carly then acknowledged the pain she'd caused her mother by breaking up her marriage to Tony and asked Bobbie if she should make herself scarce for this emotional day. "I'm the wrecking ball that destroyed your marriage, and I did it on purpose," she lamented. Carly apologized again for the past and Bobbie thanked her, and said it was unnecessary now. She said her marriage ended for many reasons, the predominant one being that they never recovered from B.J.'s death. "I need you with me," Bobbie replied. "Today and always." Hug and kiss.

At Kelly's, Lucky and Elizabeth talked Lucas through his grief, and noted what a good man Tony was. Lucas was grateful that he got to come out to his dad before he died, but, "Time is a terrible thing to waste," he noted. Luke arrived and consoled Lucas. Luke praised Tony, saying, "The world is a much colder place without him."

At her hospital room, Patrick examined Robin and agreed she was getting better, but he refused to let Robin attend the service. Robert showed up and agreed. "Since when did you start giving a damn about what happens to me," Robin balked to her absentee pop. Robin then acknowledged that even though Tony kidnapped her and left her for dead, it was because Carly had caused his nervous breakdown. She gave Robert a chewing out, and there were no doubts she'd be attending that service.

In the chapel, Manny had Alcazar sent to see him. "Everyone's well now, and I'm bored," stated Manny, who planned to go after Jason and Sonny. Alcazar reminded Manny that he had Sam's voicemail recording from the courthouse to use as blackmail and kept Manny in line. Manny conceded to abide by Alcazar's wishes — for now. Later, at the nurse's station, Manny overheard Elizabeth admonishing Alcazar for having switched the charts to save Skye over Lulu. Uh-oh. Manny's got blackmail ammo.

Luke and Bobbie had a private moment before heading to the chapel and reminisced about how love marriage and family changed both their lives. They hugged. In the park, Georgie told her concerned husband, "Tracy can huff and puff all she wants, but she's not going to blow this house down." At the hospital, Patrick gave in to Robin's wishes and asked if he could escort her to the service.

In the chapel, family and friends gathered. Robert arrived and acknowledged that he tried to contact Frisco, but he was, "Under deep cover and couldn't be reached." Mac told Bobbie that Felicia regretted having to be in Texas, but Tony's death reminded her of the fragility of life and she wanted to be by her ailing grandmother's side. Mac and Maxie then acknowledged thee contribution that Bobbie, Tony and B.J. made in the Joneses lives. Bobbie pointed out that Tony was the one who pushed for the heart transplant, and Maxie and Bobbie hugged. Audrey was there, too! And when Carly sat down in the back, Bobbie called her daughter up front to sit by her side.

As Luke eulogized his ex-doc-bro-in-law, the flashbacks began: His proposal and wedding to Bobbie; the heart transplant; Tony shaving his head during his breakdown; and various Nurse's Ball and FATHER KNOWS BEST moments.

Afterward, Robert told Robin that he has been called back to the Maarkham Islands, but he'd stay if she wanted him to. "Why?" she pointed out. She got along just fine without him. Robert promised to keep in touch, kissed Robin on the forehead and left. She cried, and as Patrick tried to console her, she sighed that if her dad really wanted to stay, he would have.

In the park, Manny presented his blackmail material and told Alcazar that he's in charge now.... Skye told Lorenzo of the headaches she was having, then passed out.... Dillon and Georgie stood up to Tracy, who said they'd be sorry.... Luke and Robert had a drink together and engaged in friendly sparring, just like the old days.... Bobbie and Lucas said good-bye to Tony at his grave. He was buried next to his beloved B.J.

At the hospital, Alexis got a momentary jolt when she came to see Ric and his bed was empty. She was relieved to see him standing in the hall and they hugged. Citing her prior confession of giving a baby girl up for adoption when she was only 16 years old, Ric reassured Alexis that despite her past, her present is pretty damn good and she should not feel guilty that she was too young to keep her firstborn. Down the hall, Jason professed his love to Sam when she awoke. Sam was thrilled to hear from Patrick that Jason saved the day by delivering the antidote. However, she was still heartbroken about Danny's death, lamenting that she had no other family left. Jason held Sam while she took her first walk around the hospital floor, where they bumped into Ric and Alexis. After a staredown between the women, Alexis told Sam she's glad she's recovering, and expressed her sadness about Danny's death. Alexis made a gracious speech, but Sam said nothing. Alexis and Ric walked off, and Sam asked to be taken back to her room. There, Sam recalled Danny's demise and asked that in the future, Jason keep Alexis away from her. Sam recalled Danny's use of the phrase, "You were chosen," while Ric suggested that Alexis consider searching for her daughter. "Whoever and wherever my daughter is, it's best I don't find her," Alexis replied. If they only knew....

Nikolas and Jax noted how good Carly was with baby John, who was recovering from his bout with the epidemic. Jax then questioned her: "Carly, what do you want with my son?" She got angry when Jax told her he was grateful for her help but asked her to back off. As they fought in the hall, Nikolas told baby John that he wished he was the kid's dad. "I need you more than you know," Nik confessed. "Hang in there, buddy. You hang in there for me." Later, Jax confronted Sonny, accusing him that he was using Carly to take John away from him. Sonny vowed he'd never do something like that. Meanwhile, Nikolas thanked Emily for taking care of him during the epidemic, while Mike went another five rounds with Sonny's conscience. After that exchange, an emotionally battered Sonny left and Jax said Mike was welcome in John's life — it's what Courtney would have wanted. Mike walked off and Carly came back. Jax then apologized to her for his earlier accusation. She accepted his apology, and suggested that Jax move into the house next door to hers so she could help him with the raising of baby John.

Robert visited Robin, who was working while still stuck in bed recovering. Robert explained that Holly was behind the antidote ransom scheme. Robin was shocked, but understood Holly's pain and anger at learning that Robert was still alive. "All is not forgiven," she told her "dead" dad. He left the room. Later, Patrick showed up and, "in a rare moment of compassion," brought Robin her favorite flavor of ice cream.

Sonny met with Emily and vented about the guilt trips he got from Jax and Mike. He suggested that he'll hurt her too, and that maybe they should stay away from each other. She countered, saying she'd never be ashamed of loving him. While that was going on, Nik flashed back to his proposal to Courtney, then tossed her engagement ring over the cliff at Wyndemere.

In jail, Luke brought Holly coffee and after she sipped it, he told her that it was laced with the virus. She spit it out and then realized he couldn't do that. They reminisced about old times, then Holly claimed she still loved Luke and asked for his assistance to get her out of jail. Luke told her he was married — to Tracy — and they both cracked up. When Luke pointed out the devastation of the virus, she pointed out that she didn't create it or spread it, she simply tried to make a profit out of it. After another round of "Remember This," Holly pulled Luke into a kiss, just as Robert walked in. "Exploring old territory, are we?" he asked. Luke asked Robert to join him for a drink later. Scorpio agreed. Luke said good-bye to Holly and left. Once alone, Robert said he was sorry. He admitted that faking his death was unforgivable. Holly told Robert that she has always loved him, but when it came time for her to be taken away, Robert turned his head and looked away as Holly was carted off to be extradited. Afterward, Robert met Luke at the bar and the guys traded barbs and theories on life, love and the direction their lives have changed.

Robert was in shock that Holly was the culprit behind Crylium, and chastised her for leaving a bleeding Luke behind. When he begged her for mercy due to Robin's deteriorating condition, Holly pointed out she had no reason to help him since he let her believe he was dead for all those years. Holly got into a limo with the briefcase, and as it drove off, we saw her driver was Luke.

Sam flatlined, but Monica and Emily came to the rescue and revived her, while a worried Sonny looked on. Monica told Sonny that she was afraid that Sam was tired of fighting.... Jason and Carly just missed the mystery woman at the cargo hatch, but found the case of antidote. Holly's goons showed up with guns pointed. Jason and Carly managed to overcome them and make off with the case. Once they arrived at G.H., armed guards held Jason and Carly at bay, until Patrick came outside and cleared them.

Ric pumped Alexis for info about her daughter. She said she was 16 years old and in boarding school. Mikkos arranged for her to go to a clinic and have the baby. She only saw her baby girl once before they took her away. She considered finding the child, but reconsidered. "I don't have the right to disrupt her life at this point, so I won't," stated Alexis.

Jax told baby John he was sorry that he'd never get to meet his mother. Nikolas showed up, and Elizabeth told him that the doctors weren't hopeful. Jax fretted about telling Nikolas the truth about John's paternity, but allowed Nik to sit with the baby, just as Carly called to say they had the antidote. Should he speak up? Jax silently wondered.

Patrick sat at Robin's bedside and she advised him to repair his relationship with Noah. Elizabeth entered with the good news that antidote was on his way.... Maxie told Lucas that it was time to call in her favor: "I don't have much time," she told her cousin. "We've got to do this tonight." Downstairs, Jesse tried to get out of bed to check on Maxie, but was too weak. Sonny entered their room and gave Mike an update on Courtney's baby. Mike told his son that his "grieving routine" was too little and too late. Ouch! Sonny shot back that no matter what, Mike shouldn't give up on his own life.... Georgie and Dillon discovered Maxie was missing, and Georgie feared that her sister went off somewhere to die. After discovering Maxie's phone, Georgie cried that her sister didn't want to be found. Just then, Bobbie rushed in with the news about the antidote. A search turned up nothing, but Georgie realized where Maxie would have gone.

At the nurse's station, Patrick gave the doctors vials of the antidote, and though Alan was against passed out the unchecked meds, he gave in to peer pressure. The doctors arrived at John's incubator with the vial, but told Jax and Nikolas it was untested. Doing what they felt Courtney would do, Jax and Nikolas both gave their consent to give the baby the antidote.

Jason rushed to Sam's side and told Sam she had to be okay.... At B.J.'s grave, Maxie reflected on her life, and told Lucas he needed to live his own life to the fullest.... Monica administered the antidote to Ric, but told Alexis she was unsure if Sam would make it. Alexis expressed guilt at having taking Sam's brother's dose of the antidote.... Sonny made sure his grieving father took the antidote. He did, but gave Sonny a strong chewing out first.... Liz tried to keep Nik calm while they waited for the antidote to take effect, as Carly told Jax that she could tell the baby was getting better. Jax thanked her for her optimism. When they got the word that John was stabilizing, Jax and Carly embraced.... At B.J.'s grave, Lucky showed up and rushed Maxie back to the hospital to receive the antidote.... At Sam's bedside, Jason blamed himself for not being there for Sam, as she didn't seem to be responding to the antidote. "Knowing you and loving you is the most important thing that has ever happened to me," he declared to Sam.

Luke overpowered Holly, who confessed she'd never really carry through with her threat to poison the town's water supply. "That's a cold-blooded con for such a warmhearted woman," he spat. Holly pulled a gun on Luke, then Robert showed up. Neither would put down their weapons. "Run away with me," implored Holly. "I love you, Robert. I never stopped." Luke advised Robert not to buy her story. Robert listened to her plea, then hugged her. Holly was relieved, until Robert took her gun away and said she was headed for prison. Luke laughed, but Robert replied he would have gone for it — if it wasn't for Robin.

During one of those great musical montages that GH does, Maxie got her dose of the antidote. Patrick hugged Robin as he watched over her. Alexis crawled into bed with Ric. Sam opened her eyes and Jason kissed her forehead and nearly cried. Sonny and Emily held hands. Carly and Jax reached in and caressed John. Maxie recovered, much to the gang's relief, and the first face she saw was Nikolas's. Sonny and Emily went home together. In Sonny's limo, they kissed and drove away.

Then came the crawl, "And so it ends...."
