GH Recaps Week of March 20, 2006

Friday, March 24, 2006
At GH, Robin kvetched about Patrick and Epiphany interrupted with news of Noah. Sam's star necklace reappeared and Jason made sure it nestled nicely against her bosom before accessorizing with a gun. Skye and Lorenzo (still PC's ex-Frank, Jay Pickett) hit the tables and Carly noted the totally non-subtle looks between newly-arrived Sonny and Emily. After Emily lied to Liz about her "break-up" (again), she smacked into Sonny and dropped her chips. Sam played "keep away" with Jason's weapon, pointing out that she could shoot Alexis if she looked at her the wrong way. "Right now, my biggest fight is with myself," promised Jason. Sonny and his girlfriend made small talk that meant, "I'm sleeping with you and nobody knows!" and Carly dragged Sonny off to warn him that people were watching. Carly cut off Jax's Sonny insecurities by dragging him off. Kelly called Patrick on wanting to be with Robin while Robin found Noah checked into detox to prevent himself from drinking. His chart revealed that his cirrhosis was in its last stages: d'oh! "It's 'Gangsters Get in Free Night'!" Tracy snarked as Jason and Sam walked in and spotted Sonny and Emily's tete-a-tete. Up on deck, Carly called jealous Jax a "rotten date." Sonny leered at Emily (now chatting up Nikolas) from the bar and greeted Sam and Jason. Sonny was there checking up on Frankazar, who was Jason checking up on? (Duh!)

Noah kept huffing about forgoing a transplant because he's a drunk, wondering if Robin's compassion was about looking good for Patrick. Nik and Em lost money on the roulette wheel as Lucky and Liz looked on enviously. Nearby, Sonny told Jason that Bernie was dead meat if he ever helped Jason with "Bizness" decisions again (Does he realize Jason wants to kill him?). By the bar, Sam collided with Alexis and drinks went flying! Jax apologized to Carly, mentioning their "tangled history" with Sonny. The spilled drink downstairs led to Sam vs. Alexis Round 2, 450 and Sonny freaking about the Springer Sex enough to give Jason carte blanche to kill Baby Mama #1 (That's Alexis.) Sonny stormed out as Luke struggled to keep the party going. Skye accused Tracy of wanting Luke to fail because she couldn't compete with the memory of Laura. Frankazar observed that Skye had been there and done that. After checking Noah in to GH, Robin assured him that Patrick would be there for him. On the Star, Lucky and Liz were feeling overworked and poor but took time to analyze Nik and Em's relationship. Back downstairs, the good times rolled and Jax decided to test Carly's trustworthiness with an "intimate" game of Texas Hold 'Em. No nonsense Robin interrupted Patrick and Kelly with the news of Noah's dire condition. Lucky and Liz actually won roulette (on red 19) while Luke was touched that Skye picked up some hostessing duties. Emily made lame excuses about a lab report and left the casino while Jax and Carly saw, raised, and called with a side of footsie. "A woman always makes good on her bets," Carly purred.

Jason learned from Liz that Emily had left to do homework (for Sonny Corinthos 101). "This has to stop," he told Sam, who'd been busily staring holes into Alexis. Back at GH, the Drake men sniped at one another, unable to admit they were needy and terrified. Emily snuck into Greystone and offered Sonny a lucky poker chip that didn't improve his angsty mood. When a surly Noah tried to climb out of bed, Patrick finally bent, catching him before he could fall. Tracy and Skye scuffled over the mayor's coat and, of course, Skye fell down the entryway steps. Frankazar yelled at Tracy and Luke jumped to her defense. Carly and Jax cashed in, stumbling into his penthouse and feverishly making out. Back on the Star, Alexis and Nik wondered what was up with Sam. Ric dropped by the penthouse to actually ask — getting her Alexis Hate spiel as the answer. Back at Greystone, Sonny angsted about Alexis, Sam, Brenda, Lily, and Carly. "I am gonna hurt you! Maybe even destroy you! Are you alright with that?" he asked Em. Yep, she is. She kissed him tenderly — as Jason peered through the patio doors.

Diego knocked Georgie out of the path of Manny's speed demon goon. Understandably wary about getting embroiled in a Luke Spencer Caper, Dillon laughed at Luke's suggestion that he Lulu-sit again. "I can't have her meddling in my life!" Luke complained. Lulu, meanwhile, started meddling elsewhere: reading Diego's letters. Downstairs, cutie Kristina invited Sam to a tea party, asking if she could pretend to be her sister. Awkward! Jason told a tap-dancing Carly he was through playing games — just as Sonny and Emily returned from their mid-day tryst. Satiated Sonny apologized for disappointing Michael and Carly took all the blame for the botched field trip. "Carly doesn't take blame for anything. Is she covering something?" Sonny asked Jason (Uh, yeah — you!). Sam begged off plans with her baby sis. Nearby, Lucky wanted Nikolas to go to The Haunted Star opening for Lulu's sake. Dillon refused to help Luke scam his daughter, leaving the older man with something to think about. On the street, Diego raggedly assured Georgie that the hit and run had been an "accident." (Riiiight.) At the casino, Jax noted Luke had swiped most of the Metro Court staff. Tracy blasted her freeloading hubby for using her $50, 000 to refurbish the boat and marital snark ensued. "If this place doesn't turn a profit immediately, I will foreclose," Tracy warned.

Justus invited Lainey to the bash while Alexis floated the idea to Ric. Sam looked through her Alexis file at the penthouse. Naturally, Carly burst in, demanding help with Jason. Jason suggested that Carly was trying to "keep the peace." Pussyfooting around Sonny's liaison with Emily ensued...with neither man 'fessing up. Outside Kelly's, Liz invited Emily to The Haunted Star, urging her to have fun since she'd broken things off with Sonny (oh, Liz!). "He's trying his hardest in his own Luke-ian way," Dillon told Lulu inside, admitting he'd probably take the Lulu Watch gig because he needed the money. Georgie smuggled Diego up the back stairs, practiced her mad candy striper skillz, and wondered why Diego was protecting the thugs. Over at GH, Jay Pickett stepped in as Lorenzo and nobody noticed that he looked like ex-EMT Frank Scanlon. He and Skye decided to hit the Star bash as well...while Manny eavesdropped and mopped (eavesmopped?). As they clashed over Sonny and Jason, Sam wondered if Carly was sleeping with Jax. Sonny and Jason kept arguing when Luke walked in, sensing trouble (cough in paradise cough). Carly told Sam to butt out and explained, "I'm just trying to minimize the damage." Sam needed to tell Jason to back off, stat! Luke invited Sonny to the Star, dropping a hint about enemy Alcazar going. "Consider my casino a floating Switzerland." Emily lied to Liz's face about needing fun and agreed to go with her and Lucky.

Back at GH, Patrick and Robin exhausted all their Noah Search resources. Patrick's solution: invite Robin to the casino. When Robin declined, he invited Dr. Lee and Nurse Epiphany tsk-tsked at Robin. Lu subtly questioned Dillon about his marriage to Georgie. Upstairs, Georgie talked to Diego about confiding in his papi and there was a knock at the door! Diego hid in the closet and Lu stormed in. "I'm telling Dillon everything unless you stay away from Diego." Meanwhile, Jax surprised Carly with a pretty princess dress for the Star bash! "How dare you buy me a dress?" Carly lashed out, recognizing the Sonny-esque signs. Jax quickly eased her fears. Dressed to kill, Sam and her cleavage filled in Jason on Carly's warning. "Stay out of this one," she pleaded. Jason said he'd try. A white jacket-clad Sonny assured Max he wasn't taking a date to the shindig (but was possibly moonlighting as a maitre'd). Diego overheard Georgie declaring to Lulu that he was her friend but she loved her hubby. Ouch! At the Star, awkwardness ensued with the Musketeers when Nikolas arrived. Carly came in her own smokin' red dress with Jax on her arm. Skye and Alcazar followed, as Luke prickled. Alexis and Ric strolled in just as Sam convinced Jason to attend the bash, too. Luke prematurely crowed over his potential success while Emily lied to Nikolas about breaking up with Sonny...and Sonny and his guards strolled in.

At The Haunted Star, Skye and Luke traded pleasantries and noted the prominently displayed young naked Helena picture before realizing they'd been set up. "Daughter, get your happy butt out here!" Luke bellowed. At Kelly's, Georgie read an old prison letter from Diego and crumpled it when Dillon walked in. D'oh! Jax arrived at GH to find Carly holding real, non-plastic John for the first time. (Aww!) Jason, meanwhile, had a nightmare about Sonny going dark and crazy. "It wasn't real," soothed Sam. "I think it was," he gasped. Luke read Lu the riot act for her scheming and plotting. "You can start apologizing any time," Luke told Skye after Lu stormed out. Dillon read Diego's letter...not! It was actually a test Georgie got a B+ on. At GH, a moved Jax held John for the first time. "I will be your father in every way that matters," he promised the tiny tyke. When Jason told Sam about finding Sonny, she boggled at him confessing the Mom-Daughter Sex Shenanigans. Jason assured her it was Sonny's present that was wrong. Georgie and Dillon fought over her oh-so-dreaded B+, being broke, working in a diner, and living across from a murderer and a pervert. Maxie called an uncooperative Diego over to the PCPD to tell Jesse about the thugs who'd attacked him on the pier. Nearby, Lainey and Lucas filled out a psych profile for his case. Lainey shared a quick flirt with Justus before facing Frank, who refused to talk to "one of you."

Luke snarked at Skye for turning Lulu into a romantic. "She pinned her hopes on us," sighed Skye. "Your kid loves you, Luke. Try not to sabotage that, too." At GH, Patrick clashed with an insightful nurse named "Epiphany," who told him that Emily had a meeting with MIA Noah the day before. An overwhelmed Jax turned feeding duties over to Carly and thanked her for saving his life and John's. A call about Michael interrupted Sam playing Sonny/Emily devil's advocate for Jason so he bolted. Lainey handled Frank's racist comments with professional cool while Justus went the "slam him against the table" route. Georgie tore up all of Diego's letters and tossed them in a trash bag, and Maxie wondered where Diego fit in her life. Elsewhere, Manny's goon staked out Diego. Worried Patrick came by the NICU looking for AWOL Emily, which wigged out Carly. Jason learned Michael had missed a field trip because his teachers hadn't been able to reach Sonny. Lulu learned about turnabout when Luke joked about matchmaking her with some guy and then Luke told her that he and Skye wanted different things. Oh, he meant Skye wanted babies and, well, everyone knows Luke's stance on children, right?

Jesse and another officer pulled Justus off the racist, gay-bashing punk. Maxie advised Georgie to make sure Diego knew they were just friends before things got out of hand. Back at the NICU, Jax told Carly Michael's school had called the hotel and Jason since Sonny was missing. Justus and Lainey had an after-school special discussion about racism mentioning Bradley Ward. Dillon came to The Haunted Star and found Luke drinking, which led to an honest talk about Luke's alcoholic, abusive father. So that's why he never wanted kids? Carly burst in on Jason making important "bizness" decisions with Benny's twin brother Bernie, who'd come up from Florida. After the stumble down memory lane, Dillon asked Luke for a job at the casino. "Did you turn 21 when I wasn't looking?" But maybe Luke could help him — if Dillon kept Lulu occupied. Lu came by Dillon's room and found Diego's bag o' letters. Uh-oh! Georgie apologized for giving Diego the wrong impression and said good-bye when Manny's thug hit the gas and aimed his car. (So make that "adios.") When Carly automatically started covering for Sonny and Emily's ill-timed tryst, Jason told her to 'fess up. "There are some questions you just don't ask," she warned him.

At Metro Court, Alcazar and Skye talked cravings and morning sickness as Tracy strolled up with a tablecloth stuffed in her dress and accused Skye of faking to nab a hubby. At Jake's, Carly realized Patrick was getting cozy for Robin's benefit. Emily and Sonny snuggled after his declaration of love but Sonny quickly got angsty. Jason assured Sam he'd do "whatever it takes" to protect his sister. "I think you're still processing what happened with your first daughter," Ric accused Alexis. Jax congratulated Skye and Alcazar on their good fortune. Tracy even mentioned an inevitable "tumble down the stairs" (Even she knows they're common.) before Jax shooed her away. Patrick urged Robin to apologize in front of Carly and Coleman. She sucked it up, admitting, "I made a complete fool out of myself." "I'm in awe," Carly said of her "progress." Jason described the post-Lily breakdown to Sam, who hoped, "Maybe it's in the past?" Emily told Sonny that honesty was key in their relationship, which made Sonny spill his Jerry Springer-esque Alexis/Sam secret. Luke asked Tracy to be the hostess for the grand re-opening of The Haunted Star. "A root canal is preferable," she snapped. Lulu reminded them that "sexy" Skye had been the last hostess and Luke defended Spanky's "gams" but not her wardrobe. Lulu left before she was "scarred for life." "Look at it as a growing experience," prickly Patrick told Robin. Sam reminded Jason that he didn't like people taking away his choices. "Maybe I'm a hypocrite!" he cried. Elsewhere, Sonny shared his "creepy, freaky" shame. What was "more disturbing" to Emily was how "hard" Sonny was on himself. "My eyes are wide open. I'm not wrong for loving you," she told the man she's known since she was 10.

Skye cited her failed marriages and their über-new relationship as reasons against getting hitched. Lorenzo understood — and then asked her to move in. At Jake's, Robin told Patrick he was the most conceited man on both sides of the Atlantic. "You two are perfect for each other!" she said of him and Carly before storming out. "Where were we?" Patrick leered half-heartedly. "On a road to nowhere," Carly admitted, gently. Sonny had a confessional visit with Father Coates while, on the pier, Emily got snippy with Jason, even lying about her and Sonny's relationship before he accused her of anything. Sonny shared the Great Parental Reveal and the Springer Sex with Father Coates. Emily kept stonewalling Jason, who just wanted to protect her. Skye couldn't quite picture Lorenzo building a crib or shacking up. "Let's take this one day at a time." Then, Skye got a call from a Haunted Star employee about Luke (arranged by Lulu).

Alexis turned the tables, wondering if Ric was trying to get closer to his brother again. Sonny moved on to his Emily woes (leaving out that she's 20 years younger and dated Juan). Father Coates told him to forgive himself as God would forgive him and then Sonny saw Jason — who would not forgive him. Luke wondered if Tracy could "glide," "slink," and "smile," and then Skye and Lorenzo appeared. At GH, Robin begged Alan to stop her from falling for Patrick. Naturally, Patrick interrupted her telling tirade. Carly groused to Jax that she'd been with a "dreamy" guy but hadn't been able to stop thinking about him. What would they do now? "We're going to sleep together," Jax grinned, matter-of-factly. At church, Jason and Sonny traded passive-aggressive comments before Sonny mentioned the Emily elephant in the room. Lulu eavesdropped on the Haunted Star foursome. "My life is very full," Skye assured Luke, who excused her to continue business with his "lovely wife." At GH, Patrick and Robin launched into banter mode but Alan and Monica interrupted — Noah had disappeared! Back at Metro Court, Jax and Carly bonded over always doing exactly the opposite of what people advise and then slow-danced. Jason ticked off Zander and Nikolas and said Sonny was next on Em's rescue list. "I gave Emily up," Sonny lied (in church!), fleeing (and not back into the confessional...).

Nikolas blasted a disheveled Jax and Carly for dishonoring Courtney (He'd rather dishonor wives while they're alive). At her new digs, Robin accused Patrick of betting he could get her in the sack. They could even do it "bareback" (sans protection) if he wanted. Jason wondered "where exactly" a bent-on-seduction Emily wanted him to kiss her. (What is this, PASSIONS?) On the docks, Sonny and Sam were shuddering over the Great Parental Reveal of '06 when Alexis interrupted. After her standard Alexis Hate Spiel, Sam took off and Alexis brought up the topic of Carly as Kristina's legal guardian. Sonny couldn't even listen and he, too, bolted. At Casa Corinthos, Emily excused her behavior to Jason by saying that Morgan liked to play "Sleeping Beauty." Carly interrupted Nik and Jax's finger-pointing and ejected the puerile prince, but Carly and Jax couldn't recapture their lusty mood. Patrick assured Robin that he'd prefer graphically safe sex and even mentioned her "low viral load." He boggled at Robin's attitude and accusation that he'd bet $100. She called him a "soulless jerk," and he walked out without responding. Carly and Jax talked about Courtney and their budding relationship. Jax confirmed she was saying "proceed with caution," and not hitting the breaks on their relationship.

At GH, Liz informed Nikolas that there was a restraining order barring him from John. Emily dodged questions from a suspicious Jason while Sonny and Sam reconfirmed that they were sitting on the Alexis secret. Sam spent a few minutes being jealous of Kristina and trashing adoption (Have you seen the Cassadine family tree, Sam?) Lulu found Luke remodeling The Haunted Star and putting up a copy of the infamous naked young Helena picture. In the GH locker room, Robin heard Patrick and Dr. O'Donnell discussing The Bet. On the 4th floor, Alexis asked Jax to drop the restraining order against her nephew. Nik flaunted that he'd nearly been John's dad and tattled about Jax and Carly getting busy. Carly found Emily at Greystone and told her that Nikolas was having a "big fat public meltdown."

Sheepish Sonny claimed he'd "take his lumps" if Sam wanted to spill the truth, and she assured him that she didn't. Jason interrupted the powwow — ratcheting the awkwardness even higher! Luke prepared for the grand reopening of his casino tomorrow night as Lulu went all "Dr. Phil" about Skye. An eavesdropping Robin realized The Bet had been over convincing a little girl's mother to authorize surgery; Patrick wordlessly walked past her. Ouch! Liz reminded Nikolas that baby John isn't a "living memorial to Courtney," while Alexis questioned Jax about his hookup with Carly. Em caustically suggested Carly get Jax to allow Nik to see John and leave her out of it. Sonny and Jason chatted about "keeping Emily close" and Sonny quickly changed the subject to the Great Parental Reveal. Jason mentioned Manny and Puerto Rico. Sonny evaded that, too, and fled. "He and Emily both just lied to my face," Jason told Sam.

At Jake's, Coleman told Carly that Courtney had been "as strong-willed as they come" and he'd miss her. They toasted to fresh-as-a-Daisy and then Patrick slapped $20 on the pool table. Game on! Elsewhere, Robin asked Brendan (a.k.a "Dr. O") where Patrick had gone. Jason informed Sam that Sonny and Emily were sleeping together and he didn't know what to do. Emily told Sonny about the near-miss and they got flirty, thinking they were safe. Lulu kept trying to psychoanalyze Luke and his reaction to Skye's pregnancy. He blew her off and left a message for his darling "Spanky." At GH, Jax defended Carly to Alexis and told her, "I'm not ending it." "May God be with you," Alexis cracked, crossing herself. Ignoring Liz's advice, Nik assured Jax that he wasn't giving up. Well, the restraining order stood! Patrick and Carly played pool, shared a dance and forgot their troubles for a minute. Naturally, Robin walked in. Sonny told Emily their relationship was one of the "healthiest" he'd ever had. (Just wait till he shoots her in the head.) "You've honored me by loving me," he told her, "and I want you to know that I love you." Sam suggested that maybe the lying duo was in love and a freaked out Jason explained Sonny's darkness to her. "If he gets in that mood and he hurts Emily, I have to kill him!"
