GH Recaps Week of July 17, 2006

At Wyndemere, Nikolas and Emily were amused to see that the butler, Alfred, was trying to push them together. Nik noted that the manservant believes the baby should have a mother figure — and not just a nanny. When she found out he was meeting Robin for dinner, he clarified that it's not really a date. Make it one, she replied with a smile.
At the hospital, Robin was in a great day-after-sex kind of mood. Patrick pointed out a lavish arrangement of flowers for her; she was surprised that the sender was Nik, not Patrick.... Alan and Elizabeth discussed the drug-theft at G.H. Elsewhere, Lucky gulped down pills.... Robin was miffed when Patrick brought a fancy "just because" bouquet for Elizabeth. Just then, Lucky walked up, chewed out his wife and Patrick and stalked off. As Liz ran after her man, Robin, accused Dr. Drake of trying to make her jealous because she got flowers from someone else. He scoffed at her accusations. When Em showed up on duty later, Patrick asked for info on Robin and Nik's past. Emily seemed a bit surprised at the flowers her ex had sent Robin, but filled him in anyway, including a spiel about how romantic Wyndemere is. what with the lake, scented flowers, etc. She helpfully added that all the girls had had crushes on Nik.
Cary presented Jason with her proof that Ric is the one who tried to gaslight Sonny by sending Liz a dress that looked like Lily's. Jason wanted to kill Ric, but Carly preferred just making his life miserable.... Alexis fretted to Ric about how possibly arresting Jason would affect her relationship with Sam. Jason soon turned up for Alexis's questioning, but refused to reveal anything. Afterward, Alexis noticed a file missing and confronted Sam.
With Carly at his side, Sonny sat down with Morgan and Michael, and in a non-scary way, explained that he's ill. Carly's eyes glistened when he told the boys how she always stands by him. He then went to a session with Lainey and recalled hot times with his ex. In the meantime, Carly turned up at the hospital and asked Patrick to "distract" her from Sonny. He was happy to oblige and suggested Metro Court. That just happened to be where Robin and Nik were dining. At the restaurant, Carly figured out Patrick was trying to make Robin jealous, and gloated when Robin wouldn't stop staring at them.
After his interrogation, Jason went to Casa de Corinthos; soon after, Ric came by to snoop around, and Jason busted him.
Lucky ran in to Maxie, who listened with a slight smile, as he ranted about being done with Elizabeth. "Tell me what you need?" she asked with a glint in her eye.

A sweaty Georgie and Diego entered the boathouse in a passionate smooch, ready to go all the way. However, Georgie hesitated and Diego proved that he has a conscience by pulling back and saying they couldn't do it before it's right. "I don't want just any girl," he said. "I want you. And I don't want you to think of anyone else." Georgie admitted that she's not over Dillon yet, and was touched by Diego's concern for her feelings. Just then, Dillon entered and said he needed to speak to Georgie. Diego showed off his machismo, but did agree to give them a moment alone. Dillon then said he knows Lulu lied about Georgie and Diego having sex and he apologized for not believing his own wife. Georgie pointed out that her past behavior with Diego pushed him to his incorrect assumption, but said it's probably better that they go their separate ways. Dillon begged her to take him back; Georgie said she couldn't — they're done. She then ran out and Diego chased after her. Dillon was crestfallen.
At Metro Court, Robin was surprised that Patrick showed up for their lunch. Dr. Drake kept her from leaving. "I miss you," he declared. Patrick suggested they're great together but when others get involved, they start to argue. Robin agreed. Robin said she missed their sex, but confessed she wanted more. Then they actually had a civil conversation about their respective pasts. Patrick took Robin's hand, called himself a realist and stated he'd never be able to give her what she wanted. Robin suggested they go back to their original agreement, "Sex with no strings." Patrick asked for the check.
As Sonny told Emily she didn't have to try so hard to make him feel better, Carly showed up at the house unannounced and stayed hidden from them. "I don't have to try with you," Em assured her man. "I don't want you to walk on egg shells with me," Sonny replied. After they walked out for a stroll around the grounds, Carly employed Milo to find the white "Lily" dress that Ric bought. Carly vowed to find the store that sold Ric the dress and asked Milo to see it. Milo hesitantly agreed to give her what was left of it. Just as Carly recovered it from a shelf, Emily walked in and asked, "What's going on?" Carly took the blame for Milo not announcing her and declared that Ric has been setting Sonny up. Emily ordered Carly to mind her own business. Sonny heard the women fighting and Carly shouted, "I'm trying to save your sanity, Sonny!" Emily asked Carly to leave. She did — with the dress.
Ric met with Lainey and wanted details of Sonny's condition, which she refused to divulge. Ric offered Lainey details about Sonny's past, and cited Jason as the primary obstacle to Sonny getting well. Ric swore to her he had no other agenda.
Patrick brought Robin back to his room and they kissed. "No talking," Robin stated breathlessly as Patrick babbled on. "Shut up and do me!" (Yep, she really said that!) Later, post-coital, Patrick reached for another condom. Back at the hospital, Noah was pleased to see the kids had an enjoyable "lunch," especially when he noticed they'd brought back their food. "Let's see how you can screw this up," Noah quipped to his son.
On the docks, Georgie informed Diego about Lulu's lie, and that Dillon wanted her back. Nervous, Diego was relieved when Georgie said she's not going back to her husband. Back at the boathouse, Dillon confronted Lulu about her lie. "How could you do that to me?" he shouted. Lulu tried to justify what she did, but Dillon wouldn't hear of it. You were my best friend," he uttered. "Now, you're nothing."

Dillon woke up in a panic after he and Lulu fell asleep in each others arms in the boathouse, knowing Tracy would catch them yet again. Shortly after, Dillon and Lulu entered the Q drawing room for breakfast separately and pretended they hadn't just been together. Edward said he knew what they were doing: Lulu was out joyriding in his Bentley. The kids agreed to the charge, until Tracy entered and made her father do a spit-take by announcing that the kids were having sex. Edward chastised his grandson for taking advantage of Lulu. Tracy demanded some answers from her son about how he started sleeping with his stepsister. Dillon spilled that Georgie and Diego had sex — and that Lulu saw it with her own eyes. "Lulu saw," an unbelieving Tracy pointed out. "That explains it." No dummy, Tracy went to Lulu and said she saw through their her scheme. After all, she's a manipulator, too.
At the hospital, Epiphany had enough of the sniping between Robert and Patrick, refused to be caught in the middle of their in-fighting and threatened to go to Alan if they didn't find a way to get along. Then, Noah got chewed out by both Robin and Patrick for trying to play peacemaker. Robin later apologized to Noah. He said she could make it up to him by having lunch — with Patrick! "Why?" she queried. "You just saw that we can't even be in the same room with each other." He gave her a nice speech about missing out on life and not getting second chances. The talk did the trick. She agreed. Now, he had to get his son to do the same.
Robert met with Skye and told him he'd made arrangements for her to disappear so Lorenzo wouldn't be able to locate her or the baby. Just then, the baby's daddy showed up to remind Skye she'd be late for her ultrasound. Skye ordered him to stop following her, but he refused to be shut out of his child's life. Skye asked Robert to escort her to the hospital. Robert advised Alcazar not to follow them.
At the PCPD, Alexis kept Ric from examining her evidence against Jason. Ric advised his wife that while she may not be able to get Jason for Escobar's murder, she could nab him on racketeering after taking over the Escobar's business. Hmmm, she thought. Meanwhile, Sam bumped into Jason on the docks. He noticed she was dressed uncharacteristically conservative. She mentioned she had a new job, but stopped short of saying where, then she pointed out that they can't still be friends. "Your choice!" Then she went on her way. Later that day, Jason was shocked when he literally bumped into Sam at the police station and discovered her new job title. Then, Alexis was the surprised one when she saw Jason holding her private files (After he'd picked them up off the floor for Sam, that is.) Alexis confided to Ric that she wants Jason locked up for Sam's sake. Alexis then went to Jason and asked him to stay away from her daughter. Sam overheard. Ric saw her listening in.
Diego met with Georgie, who was miffed that Lulu never showed up for the breakfast shift. Her mood elevated when Diego announced he planned a day full of boating and swimming for them. Later, Dillon caught them near the boathouse, laughing and having fun, and was saddened to watch their exchange. He returned to the manse, where he caught Lulu admitting to Tracy that she did lie about Georgie and Diego having sex. Dillon was crushed. Down by the river, Georgie suggested to Diego that they go to the boathouse to do you-know-what — what Lulu had accused them of.
Robert bumped into Robin at the hospital, where they exchanged some pretty funny banter about Anna, him missing the spy game while staying in P.C., and, of course, Dr. "Pat" Drake. "The fact that you were temporarily dead probably save me from going insane," Robin cracked about their years gone by. "There are boundaries. Please respect them." In other father/child news, Noah did the impossible and possibly cajoled Patrick into lunching with Robin. "If she doesn't show, then you've got your answer," Noah noted about their future potential, adding, "What do you have to lose?" Patrick considered it. Robin arrived at Metro Court, decided to leave, and was surprised when Patrick showed up.

At Kelly's, Lucky made nice with Elizabeth when she grilled him about what happened on the roof with Manny. Maxie watched intently from the shadows. Rodriquez walked up to the couple and told Lucky that Mac wants him on the Juan Escobar case. Liz left, and Maxie caught up with Lucky and handed over some more pills. "No strings attached," she said.
At the penthouse, Sam freaked out at Jason's constant rejection and made a veiled threat. "Watch out for what I do!" she spat before leaving. Meanwhile, at the lake house, Alexis told Ric she had to fire one of the aides in her office for giving the Mayor Floyd files without permission. Moments later, a call came in about Sam not getting the job at the hospital. A light bulb went off over Alexis's head and she headed out. Sam came home and Ric informed her about the call. Then, Alexis returned with new clothes for Sam for... her new job! After some quick banter, Sam agreed to take the position in Alexis's office. Later, Sam and Ric got a chuckle at the ultra-conservative outfits Alexis had picked out. Sam allowed Ric to vent about Jason's interference when he was trying to "help" his manic brother, Sonny. Sam surprised Ric by dissing Jason, too.
At Wyndemere, Nanny Colleen was not pleased to see Nikolas making goo-goo eyes with Emily while she was holding the baby, and abruptly removed John from Em's arms. She dictated Nik's schedule, and Em commented, "Does she rotate your tires, too?" After Colleen left with the baby, Emily admitted that Sonny's therapy sessions have opened up all the memories of her rape and she apologized for not being open with him during the aftermath, stating she'd been unfair to him and their marriage. She said she now realizes that, like Sonny's doing to her, she pushed him away, too. Colleen then interrupted the heartfelt exchange, and Emily left.
At Carly's house, Carly asked Sonny to stop being so sweet to her. "Nothing's going to happen," she warned. She admitted that Jax still hasn't contacted her. Then, she pleasantly kicked Sonny out of her house. "You're as strong as they come," he smiled as he left.
Lulu told Dillon that Lucky, like her errant father, didn't show up for his own party. She was pleasantly surprised when Dillon admitted that he paid attention to her peccadillos. And, he still didn't believe her when she told the truth that Georgie and Diego really didn't have sex. He kissed her and his earnestness touched Lulu. Feeling guilty, Lulu sought solace and advice from Carly. She came clean to her cuz, who pointed out, "Wrong is in the eye of the beholder." Stay with Dillon, Carly advised. "Enjoy it!" "I don't care what anybody says about you," Lulu replied. "You rock." Lulu then went on to her date with Dillon.
Sonny went to Jason's to make sure Morgan had covered his actions in the Escobar shooting. Jason assured his former boss that he had. Astute Sonny then noticed that Jason never had the bullet hole in his window fixed, and that it served as a reminder to Jason about keeping Sam out of danger. Sonny then opened up to Jason about his fears regarding therapy and medication when Emily arrived, and she instructed her brother to keep his opinions to himself. "You wouldn't advise a cancer patient not to seek treatment," she huffed. Jason gave the two some time alone, and Sonny stuck up for Jason. Sonny worried that his treatment could change him into a different person. Later, Carly shocked Emily when she admitted she wants Sonny to stay with Emily.
Lucky confronted Jason on the docks about the Escobar case and Liz overheard the exchange. Afterward, Liz told Jason that she's going to come forward and admit that she knows Jason, not Lucky, actually killed Manny. Jason pointed out they didn't know for sure what happened and refused to allow her to do that. Liz went to Kelly's, where Lucky met up with her and he apologized again for missing her party. Maxie lurked nearby and watched as Lucky popped more pills.

Carly told Jason she was glad to help Sonny — but she's tempted to go back to him. She asked Jason to stop her, but he replied he's never been able to stop her before. She said Sonny doesn't need her; he's moved on. Meanwhile, Sonny pointed out to Lainey that he married Carly three times, tossed her out of her home twice and shot her in the head. Yep, it's love. Sonny recounted the shooting, then getting involved with Sam, Alexis, etc. Lainey asked if this is a pattern, using other women to get over Carly? He said Emily doesn't fit the pattern. Lainey asked, Who do you envision your future with? After the session, Sonny assured Emily she doesn't fit the pattern; she's not a reaction to Carly. But he did say going after her was "selfish." Emily praised the insights one gets from therapy — she wasn't honest about what she learned from her post-rape counseling, and she doesn't want to see that happen to him.
Ric gave a swimsuit-clad Sam her passport (and a good once-over). Kristina invited Ric to join them swimming. Afterward, Sam pointed out that her salvage-diving past was actually useful, and noted that Kristina never had swim lessons. Alexis arrived and asked the soaked Sam if she went swimming. Kristina invited Alexis to swim, but she begged off. Sam realized Alexis can't swim, but before it became an ABC Afterschool Special ("The Girl Who Couldn't Swim") Alexis pointed out that Stavros used to mock-drown her. Alexis got a call from Mayor Floyd pressuring her to prosecute Jason for killing Juan Escobar. Alexis assured her they don't have enough evidence, and Sam said she's cool with it. Later, Sam asked Ric to put sunscreen on her back. However, she grimaced and bolted when he touched her. Later, Ric showed up at GH to discuss Sonny's session with Lainey. Emily intercepted him and said it went well. Ric once again bad-mouthed Jason, but Emily defended him.
Jason returned to GH for an appointment with Patrick, and Elizabeth used the opportunity to ask him who really killed Manny. (Apparently no one has read the autopsy report.) Maxie eavesdropped as Jason recounted the fight with Manny and admitted he didn't see Lucky shoot. He also assured Liz that he would re-evaluate his relationship with Sam after Sonny is squared away. When he left, Maxie noted the conflict of interest inherent in Mrs. Det. Lucky having the town crime boss for a buddy.
Det. Lucky realized it was wrong to kiss Maxie. Later, he arrived at Kelly's, where Lulu blasted him for missing his party, and called him "dad-like." Lucky recounted that Luke blowing off family events made him "treasure" his family, and he vowed to make it right. Later, Liz found Lucky at the docks and demanded to know what's up with him.
As Helena (Hey, how did she get in here?) cooed over John, Colleen said Nikolas is still way suspicious of Helena. Helena disappeared when Carly suddenly appeared (Hey, how did she get in here?) and cooed over John. Nik appeared and Carly produced John's immunization records. Nik warned her to call first next time. After they left, Helena reappeared and called Carly a cheap but formidable and accomplished gold digger. She directed the nanny to bad-mouth Carly. Nik reappeared and Helena redisappeared (Did she dive under a table?) Colleen lied that Carly upset John, so Nik said she shouldn't be around again. Back home, Carly packed little John's stuff. When Sonny knocked on the door and asked about the toys, Carly got instantly defensive, but he wanted to apologize. Meanwhile, Emily visited Nik. Colleen skulked as Nik called Emily beautiful.
Back home, Ric marveled at how well Alexis is dealing with Sam. Alexis admitted she and Sam are polar opposites. When Mayor Floyd called again, Ric longingly eyed the spot where Sam had been lying. Sam, meanwhile, was at Jason's — in tears. She's been hurting since he left, and she wants him to hurt the same way.
Sonny told Carly he started therapy. He doesn't want to be a medicated zombie, but he'll do what he has to do. Carly advised him to "stop hating yourself." Sonny admitted he spent his session talking about her. "Truth is, we have a bond," he said. It's not pretty, and it's not romantic, but it's there, he said. "I wanna thank you for that."
