As morning came in Port Charles, Kelly accidentally woke up a sleeping-on-the-couch Patrick at the girl's loft. Sporting skimpy red pj's, Kelly came on to the ailing doc and offered to rub vapo rub on his chest. Robin came in the door before Kelly could salivate any further. However, Robin did allow Kelly to feed Patrick his chicken soup. Lainey entered and she gushed over sick Patrick, too. "You take self-indulgence to a whole new level," Robin scoffed to her beau. "Don't you ladies have a patient somewhere?" Robin got rid of the girls, then questioned why she swapped her solitary apartment life for roommates. Robin cuddled with Patrick as he recalled his mother taking care of him when he was sick as a child. Then, the phone rang. Patrick asked Robin not to answer it. She pointed out it could the be his bloodwork results. "I know," he pointed out. Robin let the machine pick up.

Elizabeth received a touching love letter from rehab-bound Lucky, who vowed to clean up his act. Just then, Jason showed up to check in on Elizabeth. She said she's grateful for their friendship and mentioned Lucky's letter. He then brought up the topic of the baby and asked if she'd raise it as a single mom. Liz just shrugged.

Across town, Carly was suspicious of the full-course breakfast Sonny had arranged for her an the boys. Carly commented, "I love having breakfast with my boys." Then, off Sonny's look, corrected, "My sons." Sonny then pointed out to his boys that he has a bigger boat than Jax does. After excusing the boys to go brush their teeth, Carly called Sonny on his, "Big, fat ... ego." A dejected Michael sat on the stairs as he listened to his parents argue. He then called Jason and asked him to come over. Jason arrived, and the Bickersons were still arguing. "Stop!" Jason demanded. "Either get back together or don't." When Sonny said Carly can't get over him, she phoned Jax and asked him to pick her up. Jason left.

At the hospital, Alexis dreamed of seeing Ric and Sam together, she woke up and stated prophetically to Sam, "There's something we have to talk about." No, it wasn't that. They argued about Alexis's decision to not undergo chemotherapy.

At Metro Court, Jax checked up on Carly, and was still miffed that she was staying at Sonny's. Then, Ric arrived and asked Jax to talk to Alexis about taking the chemo. Jax visited Alexis in the hospital, as she was surfing the Internet about holistic cancer treatments. Jax begged Alexis to take the chemo but she retaliated by pleading for his support of her decision not to. Jax then went to Lainey and asked for her help. She suggested that maybe Sonny, as Kristina's father, should talk to her. He sighed, but agreed.

Nikolas visited with Liz at the hospital and told her that he drove Lucky to rehab. He asked Liz if she'd stay with Lucky if he cleaned up his act. She didn't reply.... Ric met with Alcazar at the Metro Court bar and stated that it's time they put their plan into action. Alcazar accused Ric of trying to set him up.... Robin had Patrick check the messages. "Still negative," he smiled. Jax arrived at Sonny's and caught Carly sharing a domestic moment with her ex.

Sonny showed up at the Metro Court restaurant and caught Jax and Carly kissing. Carly was furious. He said he was there to see Bernie. Just then, the power went out, trapping Sonny with the couple. Carly accused Sonny of having the power cut, but he denied it. Sonny asked to speak to Jax in private. He told the Aussie that dating Carly was a bad idea. He also predicted that Jax would eventually leave Carly again. Carly eavesdropped on the conversation and heard Sonny say that he doesn't want to see Carly get hurt. "Be careful," Sonny advised his ex-wife. The power returned and Sonny left. Carly told Jax that Sonny's concern for her is real. Jax tried to allay her fears about their burgeoning romance. She said that they should take their time. She kissed him and then left. Carly returned to Sonny's and told him not to be so smug. "I know you're concerned," she stated. "But Jax makes me happy, and I see no reason to walk away from that." Carly then admitted that she was wrong about Sonny being with Emily, and asked him to be happy for her and Jax.

Robin confirmed Patrick had a fever. She wanted to do a blood count but Patrick accused her of overreacting. Robin told Patrick he needs to face his HIV fears head on. Patrick said he hates it when Robin is right. Alan arrived, having answered Robin's page. Patrick asked Alan to perform another blood test. Afterward, Alan informed him that it would take a day to get the test results back. Patrick and Robin hugged. He admitted that he's not up to the challenge of living with HIV, but Robin was very reassuring with him. The results came in: Patrick had a case of strep throat. He breathed a sigh of relief. Robin volunteered to take him home and give him a lot of TLC. Patrick told Robin he was lucky to have her.

Alexis told Ric and Sam that the oncologist wants her to begin chemo, but she's not sure she wants to proceed. Ric and Sam tried to persuade Alexis to go through with the chemo, but she remained unconvinced. Nikolas popped in and sided with them against his aunt. Later, Sam told Alexis that nanny Viola brought Kristina to the hospital to see her while she was unconscious. Alexis was furious. Sam apologized for Viola's actions. Alexis said if being guardian for the girls was too much for her, she should back out. Alexis chewed out Ric, as well, prompting Sam to leave the room.

Elizabeth told Lucky that despite him going into rehab, she's not going to be waiting for him when he gets out. Lucky begged her to change her mind, now that they have a baby on the way. Liz says the baby doesn't change anything — their marriage is over. He challenged Liz to look him in the eyes and say she doesn't love him anymore. She couldn't. Jason advised Lucky to give his wife time. Lucky apologized to Jason for the attempted frame up. Liz got her stuff and left. As Lucky called Nikolas for a ride to rehab, Jason escorted Liz back to Audrey's. She thanked him for his company. Audrey let them both in, and Cameron came running into his mommy's arms. Liz introduced her son to Jason, and Liz broke the news to Cami that he'd be getting a new brother or sister. Jason said good night and left. Audrey was thrilled to hear Lucky was entering rehab.

Sam met with Jason and complained about her dilemma with Alexis.... Lucky vowed to Nikolas that he'd clean up his act for the baby's sake.... Alexis told Ric that she's not going to have the chemo.... Audrey advised Elizabeth to keep an open mind about Lucky after his recovery, then went to bed. Liz rubbed her tummy and questioned the baby's paternity.... Jason and Sam shared a tender moment.

Carly was furious to learn it would take seven days to repair the water damage to her house. Michael suggested that they stay at Sonny's. Carly agreed, but insisted to Michael that she and Sonny were not getting back together. Just then, Jax arrived and asked if she had gotten his flowers and invitation to dinner. She hadn't and accused Sonny of interfering. Jax told them both to give it a rest. Jax brought up the fact that it was a year ago today that Carly ran out into the road and he swerved his car into an accident, prompting Liz's miscarriage. Carly apologized but Jax didn't blame her. He blamed Sonny and left. Sonny agreed with Jax, that it was his fault, but Carly insisted that Sonny not blame himself. Later, Carly met Jax at Metro Court, where he was planning a romantic dinner. Carly apologized for Jax's loss and was baffled at how Jax could forgive her for her actions of last year. He claimed that she has brought happiness back into her life and was grateful to her.

At the hospital, Ric said Kristina was looking for Sam and demanded to know where she was. (She had gone to meet Jason, but he didn't show.) She said she was running errands, but he suspected she was with Morgan. They stopped squabbling when Patrick gave them an update on Alexis's condition. Nikolas arrived, and the family debated whether to bring Alexis out of her medically-induced coma. Nik and Sam said to wake her up, but Ric didn't want to. Nik overruled Ric. Once alone with Alexis, Ric begged his wife to recover. Later, Alexis woke up and even though she still had pneumonia, her oncologist advised her to start chemotherapy.

Lucky held Jason at gunpoint. When he heard footsteps from behind, he shot in the dark and Elizabeth fell to the ground. Luckily she was unharmed, but boy was she angry. She then blurted out that she's pregnant. Lucky was stunned, but Liz was disgusted when she realized that Lucky was trying to frame Jason. Liz had Jason take her to the hospital to be checked out.

Professor Marquez dared Lulu to sign her drop form. Lulu said just to spite his condescending attitude, she'd stay in school. She accused him of being a lame counselor. Back at the Q's, Dillon was surprised by Lulu's change of heart.

At the hospital, Kelly almost let it slip in front of Jason that he could be the father of Liz's baby. The girls covered, but Kelly wondered why Jason wasn't suspicious. Epiphany told Jason that he needs to step up and help Liz. He agreed and asked Liz to let him help her — as a friend. Liz asked Jason to recount what happened with Lucky. After listening to the harrowing story, Liz needed to go back to the apartment to get a few things. Jason agreed to accompany her. There, they ran into Lucky, who told them he's checking into rehab that night so he can be a proper husband and father.

At home, Sonny reiterated to Michael that he and Carly weren't reconciling. Just then, Bernie called and asked Sonny for a meeting. He said he'd be there in "15 minutes."

At the hospital, Patrick was acting short-tempered. Robin felt his forehead and realized he had a fever.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy and Edward got on Lulu's case for not attending her classes at PCU. The three were then shocked when film student Dillon came in with glasses and conservative dress, asking Edward about ELQ balance sheets. Lulu suspected that Dillon was planning to sue the company over the condom mess, but he stated that he's merely living up to his ELQ birthright and wants to learn the family business. Edward and Tracy were skeptical. "Re-invest in me," Dillon sputtered. "Praise the lord!" Edward chimed. Despite her son's proclamation, Tracy realized that this wasn't what Dillon really wants. However, he told Lulu that pursuing film would be a lark and that studying business was the next logical step.

At the hospital, Epiphany noted to Elizabeth that she looked like hell and that she needs to lighten up her workload for the baby's sake. Jax showed up at the hospital with flowers — for Elizabeth. It's the anniversary of her surrogacy. "I didn't think anybody remembered," Liz uttered, touched. They reminisced about where their lives were at this time last year.

Lucky's partner, Rodriguez, showed up at the apartment and commented that Lucky looked trashed. Lucky said that things will get better once he busts Jason Morgan. Lucky pored through Jason's files and rebuffed his partner's pleas to seek help. Disappointed, Rodriguez left. Maxie dropped by to explain why she came clean with Mac. "There is no us!" Lucky barked to the lovelorn chicklet. Maxie suggested that if she and Lucky became a couple, Mac might go easier on him. Lucky said there's no need for that — his big bust will get him his job back.

At the docks, Sam and Kristina ran into Jason. The tyke asked J if they could go out on his boat. then, an appearance by the ice cream man distracted the kid from her nautical request. Sam asked Jason if they could get together later and talk. He said sure. Afterward, Alcazar caught up to Jason and informed him that since they have another shipment coming in this weekend, he expected the Morgan/Corinthos organization to continue to stay out of his business.

At the hospital, Sam and Kristina went in search of the girl's missing doll, which they recovered at lost and found. With Alexis still unconscious, Kristina started clinging to her older sister. Jason then showed up to check in on Elizabeth — and to ask if she's seen Ric talking with Alcazar. She promised that she'll let him know if she sees the men speaking again.

At the PCPD, Lucky snuck into the evidence room and stole a packet of drugs. Meanwhile, Maxie went to Liz, who said that she she has nothing to say to the little tramp. However, when Maxie spilled that Lucky wants to bust Jason, that shut Liz up. "Lucky and I are over," Liz barked half-heartedly. Afterward, Liz called Jason but got no answer. She bumped into Rodriguez, who commented that Lucky's messed up and filled him in on her hubby's quest to bust Jason.

Georgie showed up at the Q's and immediately noticed a change in Dillon. Georgie mentioned that she's taking the same film class as Dillon, but he had already dropped it. She laughed when he said he was swapping film for business. Then, she realized he was serious. Inside, Edward pointed out to Tracy that having Dillon on their side regarding the Enduro snafu could prove valuable.

At PCU, Lulu went to see Professor Peter Marquez to get his signature in order to drop out of school and she mistook the teacher for a student. Pete gave Lulu a hard time and challenged her decision to quit before even giving college a serious try. "I wish you luck in your new profession," Pete snapped as he handed her back the signed form. "Can you say, ‘Clean up on Aisle Seven?'" Lulu grimaced at him.

On the docks, Jason called Bernie and asked him to look for a way to tie Alcazar to Ric. Just then, Lucky phoned and asked Morgan to meet him in person. "It's about Sam," he lied. A shaky Lucky popped more pills and hid in wait for Jason. When Jason arrived, Lucky pulled a gun on him, told him to get rid of his weapon and pulled out the purloined drugs, dropping them at Jason's feet. "Everyone knows I don't touch drugs," Jason pointed out. "You do now," Lucky grinned maniacally. Just then, Lucky heard footsteps from behind and shot into the dark. Just then, Elizabeth fell out of the shadows. "Elizabeth!!!!!" Lucky screamed.

At the hospital, Elizabeth and Lucky argued over his addiction. When Lucky grabbed her arm, Nikolas ordered his brother to let go of her. Nik, Liz and Emily told Lucky that he needs to clean up his act — or else. Lucky stormed off and Liz thanked her friends for their support.

At Metro Court, Carly refused to believe Max's story about her house flooding, even though it was the truth. "Horse pucky!" she huffed, assuming that Max was doing Sonny's dirty work for him. Carly sent him away and proceeded to make love with Jax. Carly reconsidered after realizing that she can always tell when Max is lying and he didn't meet the criteria this time. She realized that he must have been telling the truth and feared for her house. Carly went home and was shocked to see water coming from beneath her front door. She was furious, but Jax advised her not to run over to Sonny's because that's just what he wants.

At Sonny's, Lainey chastised Corinthos for manipulating Carly and the kids. "Your behavior is unhealthy, all the way around," she told him. Sonny defended himself by saying he's doing what he's doing to protect Carly, citing her abandonment issues. He claimed Jax would just use her and toss her aside, leaving her heartbroken. Max reported back to Sonny, who had him call a plumber to clean up the mess and fix the pipes at Carly's. However, Sonny told Max that he wanted the job to take at least a week. Later, Sonny tried to explain to Michael that even though he doesn't want Carly with Jax, they weren't going to reunite as a couple. Just then, Carly burst in declaring, "How dare you flood my house!" Carly and Sonny ordered Michael to bed. Then, Sonny denied sabotaging Carly's pipes. Sonny admitted to tinkering with Jax's car but claimed innocence when it came to the plumbing mishap. As Sonny and Carly argued, Max and Michael eavesdropped.

Jason told Sam that he doesn't want to lose the years they spent together. Sam noted that if Alexis dies, then she can never see him again in order to keep the girls safe from his violent world. "I'm going to have to find a way to stop needing you," she sighed. Jason told Sam that he missed her — all the time. They reminisced about the good times they shared.

Mac rushed to Maxie's bedside. There, she confessed everything to him — about her overdose, her affair and scoring drugs for Lucky. He was shocked. Later, Georgie came by to visit her sister. Maxie confessed that she faked the suicide attempt. Georgie chastised her sister for her stupidity and pointed out it could have cost her her life. "What Lucky did was wrong, but you are no victim here," she sassed. Meanwhile, Mac went over to Lucky's and did everything he could not to beat the druggie adulterer to a pulp. He told Lucky that he wasn't throwing him in jail for drugs in order to avoid a scandal, but he did fire Lucky from the force. After Mac left, Lucky broke down in tears. Sam showed up at the hospital just as Robin emerged with an update on Alexis's surgery. Alexis survived but her condition was still touch-and-go. Nik told Jason that if Sam did have to raise the girls, he'd have to stay away from her. Jason said he'd respect Alexis's wishes. Jason then asked Liz what she thought about Alexis's condition. Liz said she didn't think Alexis would survive. Just then, Mac approached Liz and started to browbeat her for Lucky's actions. Jason stepped in to protect her from Mac's misguided wrath. Later, Jason went up to the roof where Liz was taking a breather. They fantasized about taking a trip to Italy. Liz then lamented about her situation with Lucky. "Lucky's a walking time bomb," she sighed. "Please watch your back." Liz's fears were justified — Lucky was planning to take Jason out.
