Skye railed against Alcazar's plan for her to have their child in the middle of nowhere — well, South America. She spotted Luke (sorta) hiding on the veranda, and tried to distract Lorenzo by feigning pains, but he wasn't fooled. He drew on Luke and Robert (who was inexplicably dressed like a gaucho). Skye told Luke she wants Alcazar along for the ride, so Luke surrendered. Then Skye smashed a bottle over Alcazar's head. After he was bound, she worried he was badly hurt. Alcazar revived before the guys could usher Skye out, and she doubled over in pain. "The baby is coming right now," she gasped.

Alexis visited Ric at GH and quizzed him about why Jason beat him. Ric made excuses and said he's charging Jason with attempted murder. Sonny told Elizabeth that Jason had to leave town, and revealed that he knows their secret. She revealed that Ric knows, too. Cruz arrived with two cops and a search warrant, but Jason wasn't around. Later, Lulu visited Sonny to voice her concern that Maxie isn't really pregnant, so she wants Sonny to get Maxie out of the way. Sonny said Lucky has to deal with her on his own. Meanwhile, Liz visited Ric and quizzed him about why Jason beat him. Ric said Jason is a threat to her unless he's locked up. Later, Alexis told Lainey she thinks Jason knows about Ric and Sam's tryst, so that's why Jason beat him. But she refused to tell Ric she knows he slept with Sam because she doesn't want her daughters broken up. Lainey asked, what happens if you live?

While an angry Colleen eavesdropped, Emily told Nikolas she was suspicious Colleen's crush might interfere with her caring for Spencer, but Nik was more worried about Helena. At GH, Emily told Bernie she wanted Stan to check Colleen's background. Colleen told Nik she suspects Emily may betray him again. He insisted he'll always trust Emily, and apologized if he sent her mixed messages. Later, Colleen spiked Nik's coffee with a liquid she had been hiding. Later, Bernie reported back that Colleen's record is clean, but of the five families she worked for previously, two children accidentally died and a third vanished without a trace (Colleen last to see him alive.) Meanwhile, Colleen stripped and climbed into bed with the drugged Nikolas.

A furious Mac visited Lucky and told him there is no future for him with Maxie — or on the PCPD. Lucky vowed to help Maxie and their baby. Later, Cruz brought Lucky some case files, because Lucky said he's got the DA crusading to restore his job. Cruz warned him that Ric always wants something in return. Then Lulu reappeared and demanded to know why Lucky is letting Maxie ruin his life. He said his life is with Liz and their baby.

At GH, Dr. Lee brought Liz the sealed paternity results. Mac found Maxie and stressed about prenatal care. He flagged down Dr. Lee, who offered to do an exam immediately. Liz went outside to read the paternity results, but was interrupted by a pregnant woman in distress.

Sonny told Ric to tell Alexis about Sam — or he will. Ric accused him of bluffing. Then Alexis walked in, and Sonny told her, "It's about time you heard what your husband's been up to."

Maxie defended herself from Lulu's criticisms, and Lucky vowed to take care of her and their baby. Maxie eavesdropped as Lulu wondered if she's really pregnant.

Nikolas limped to Sonny's place to ask if Ric can be trusted. He noted that Sam is acting like she knows a secret about Ric, and Sonny would only say his brother is not trustworthy.

Ric entered the lake house just as Alexis told Jax there's stress on her marriage. Ric, Carly, Jax and Sam sniped about who's caring for Alexis. Ric said he needed to take care of some business and left his wife in Sam's care. Alexis said she wants Jax to be happy with Carly. Sam recalled her fling with Jax while he was married to Alexis, and she recalled Sam's affair with Sonny while was married to her, too. She called their love lives nearly "incestuous." Jax proposed telling Lady Jane about their engagement in person, but Carly feared his mother would reject her. Jax said he loved Carly. Nikolas appeared at the door and asked to talk to Alexis — alone — about a problem with Ric. Nikolas relayed Sonny said Ric cannot be trusted, but Alexis insisted Ric was a good father.

Elizabeth told Jason how Ric is acting all concerned about her pregnancy. Jason figured Ric was planning to strike at him through Liz. A flustered Liz mentioned that Lucky got his job back. Sonny got a call from Ric (who was in Jason's garage) to meet him at Jason’s place. Jason escorted Liz downstairs to get a cab while loudly discussing Ric's impure motives. Ric was in the garage, so he heard Jason vowing to protect Liz and her baby. Ric told Jason that Sam came on to him, and called her a tramp. Jason freaked and beat Ric within an inch of his life before Sonny stopped him. Jason asked for permission to kill Ric, but Sonny smelled a trap and had Ric taken to the hospital. Alexis' phone rang, and Nik took a message: Ric was admitted to GH after a severe beating. Upstairs, Sonny realized the beating was a set-up, and Jason pointed out how Ric knows Jason may be the father of Liz's baby. Sonny ordered Jason to flee the country, but Jason insisted on staying to get the results of Liz's paternity test.

Liz visited Lucky at Shadybrook to say she wants him to get well. He asked to speak to the baby. He put a hand on her tummy and said, "Hi, baby, I'm your daddy." Liz endured the sappy scene then fled and got all weepy.

Meanwhile, Jason begged for the okay to kill Ric, but Sonny still balked, saying it was too dangerous to kill him in his own building with his bare hands. Sonny ordered Jason out of the country so Sonny could have time to make the charges go away. Jason insisted that Liz is having a paternity test, and he has to know if he's the daddy. Lucky visited Laura and told her his woes. At Kelly's, Sam warned Liz that she will fight for Jason.

Patrick prepared to perform spinal surgery on Mr. Grossman, an HIV patient, when Noah demanded to do the surgery himself because Patrick was acting irresponsibly and looking for thrills by tempting Fate again. Patrick performed the surgery perfectly and denied having a death wish, but Robin agreed with Noah.

Cruz visited Ric, who identified Jason as his assailant, and ordered the hit man charged with attempted murder.

Jax told Carly he wanted Alexis to be his "best person," but Carly balked out of fear that Alexis would sabotage them. Jax said if Jason's there, and Sonny's there, his "baggage" should come, too. The happy couple visited the miserable Alexis. She spotted Carly's rock, and immediately had to puke. When she returned, Jax asked where her husband and daughter are.

Elizabeth fretted that Ric will tell Lucky about her pregnancy. Cruz noted that Ric destroyed all records of the surveillance, so he suggested she tell Lucky herself first. At that very moment, Ric was chatting with Lucky about Liz. Ric offered Lucky his job back — for Liz's sake — as long as he stays clean. Meanwhile, on the docks, Sam said she's game to make a go of it again. If he's the father of Liz's baby, he wants to "participate" in the kid's life. She's cool with that, but wondered if Jason can let Liz be a single mom. Suddenly, Jason got a call from Lucky — about Liz. At that moment, Ric visited Liz at the nurse's station and invited her to lunch. Ric admitted to his shortcomings and offered to make things right by helping her and her children. At Shadybrook, Lucky told Jason he wanted to make amends, and apologized "completely." Lucky said he's glad Liz turned to him. Jason forgave him. Lucky mentioned that Ric stopped by with a job offer, making Jason suspicious. At Metro Court, Liz told Ric she's excited about the new baby. Ric told her bluntly, "You are pregnant by a man you cannot rely on," so he wants her to rely on him. Later, Liz went to Jason's place and told him his penthouse is bugged, so now Ric knows Jason may be the father of her baby.

Maxie blasted Dillon for defending "that lying tramp" Lulu, and urged Georgie to do something before she loses Dillon. Lulu denied everything, but Georgie wasn't sure — especially since Dillon was still friendly with Lulu. Dillon admitted he shares a loss with Lulu, but he loves only Georgie.

When Patrick returned from Paris to a smoochy Robin, she asked if the doctor can bring Laura back? Epiphany interrupted their embrace to tell him a certain patient was requesting him. Turned out Mr. Williams was HIV-positive and heard Patrick is sympathetic. Patrick told Robin he's getting a reputation for sensitivity. Epiphany interrupted another embrace with another patient request.

Jax told Alexis they'd schedule the wedding around her chemo. Sam walked in, and Ric blasted her for not being available to her mother. Alexis told Jax the less she sees of Ric the better, because she's trying to "forgive his shortcomings." Jax asked, "What shortcomings?" Outside, Carly warned Sam to spend more time with Jason before Liz steals him away. Ric overheard Carly mention Liz as he approached. Carly blasted him for not being there for Alexis.

Maxie went to visit Lucky and acted like Lulu was blabbing everything everywhere, so she needs him to say he loves their baby. He's skeptical about her pregnancy and wanted to work out a custody deal, but it's not realistic for her to expect to make a life with him. She embraced him just as Lulu appeared and hissed, "Get away from my brother, you slut!"

Even as Sonny griped to Bernie about Ric's surveillance, Ric was telling Cruz to shut it down so the secret of Elizabeth's pregnancy doesn't get out. Lainey arrived at Sonny's for his session, and assented to Sonny's suggestion that Stan sweep her office for bugs. He said business is stressful, and Carly got engaged. Lainey was skeptical that Sonny is cool with that. Later, Ric discovered an angry Sonny in his office. Sonny warned Ric that he has a lot to lose if Alexis finds out he slept with Sam. He suggested his brother resign the DA post. Lucky called Liz at work to check on her pregnancy just as Sam appeared. Sam apologized for getting angry, and Liz said she would have done the same thing. Later, Ric visited Liz at work to check on her pregnancy at the same time Sam visited Lucky, who insisted he wants to get clean for his family and for himself — which encouraged Sam. Ric cited Liz's miscarriage of their baby, and offered his shoulder to cry on while Lucky is "unavailable."

Carly burst in on Jason to tell him she's engaged and asked him to be her "best person" at the ceremony. He assented, and she vowed to get him back with Sam. He said he's letting Liz decide whether to live her life in danger, but Carly asked if he can live the rest of his life without Sam? Then Sonny appeared and asked Jason to stop Carly's wedding — before noticing she was standing right there. She blew up, but Sonny said her marriage will make the boys and Jax unhappy. Carly told Jason he can't be with one woman if he's in love with another, then pursued Sonny home. Sonny pointed out she always relies on Jason — not Jax — and that will make Jax jealous. She insisted Jax is first in her heart.

A dressed-up Maxie flounced into Kelly's with the news that the Quartermaines are paying her off for getting pregnant. And she'll need the money, since she's starting a family with Lucky. The Qs welcomed Mac to the house just before Maxie arrived. She blamed ELQ's Enduro condoms for her getting pregnant. Back at Kelly's, Georgie and Lulu were arguing about Maxie screwing up Lucky's life when Prof. Pete appeared to compliment Georgie on her essay and blast Lulu's. She was indignant, but he suggested she's using the abortion as an excuse to not even try. Then he gave her a sob story about driving drunk and killing a girl when he was 17, so he knows from guilt. Mac insisted that Maxie never see Lucky again, and that she won't sue ELQ. He admitted he should have paid more attention to his daughter (YA THINK?) and took her home. Dillon was concerned about Maxie, but Edward just gloated over dodging a lawsuit and gaining a grandchild. Later, Maxie went back to Kelly's to bring Georgie home for dinner when Dillon arrived and apologized. Lulu told Maxie to "terminate the pregnancy" before she hurts anyone else — or drives Lucky back to drugs. Maxie was sure Lucky will fulfill his responsibility. And she loves her baby, so unlike Lulu, she could never have an abortion.

Cruz visited Liz at work and told her that Ric knows she might be pregnant by Jason. At that moment, Ric went to visit Lucky at Shadybrook. Meanwhile, Sam met Jason at the docks. He told her "you matter to me," and he wants to find his way back to her.

Sonny admitted to Michael that Jax got his mom an engagement ring. Michael wanted Carly to marry Sonny again, but he said that's her decision. Michael insisted Sonny is his only father, so will he fight for Carly?

By way of answering Jax's proposal, Carly asked why he wants to marry her. Jax said he loves her, and she recounted their rotten track record with marriages, so why risk it? Jax said making it legal will give them peace of mind that the other will stick around. He chose to propose to her on this dock on this lake because it's home, and she feels like home to him. She insisted, "You shouldn't trust me — ever." Jax said he's done being a playboy and asked her again. "I would love to be your wife," she answered and they kissed. Carly and Jax returned home to find the boys packing to go back to Sonny's. "Are you getting married?" Michael asked. Jax and Carly said they were happy about it, and Jax even suggested having another baby. Morgan seemed okay with Jax, but Michael sulked. Carly warned Jax that being stepdad and disciplining the boys would be a challenge.

Sonny assured Michael that all that matters to him is Michael and Morgan. Then Sonny noticed the van across the street and noted it as police surveillance. At that moment, Ric was ordering Det. Rodriguez to maintain surveillance on Sonny, and Alexis walked in. She said chemo isn't so bad, so maybe she can come back to work? He agreed, as long as she didn't push herself too hard. Then Sonny barged in to demand Ric call off the surveillance. As Ric threw him out Sonny warned Ric that he has lots of secrets. Alexis did want to know what Sonny was holding over Ric's head, but asked him to back off the surveillance by once again playing the emotional blackmail card — she cannot take the stress of the fathers of her children feuding. When she left Ric called Rodriguez, who reported getting a signal from Jason's. Ric ordered it patched through to his office.

Kelly told Elizabeth to relax while waiting for the paternity test results. Liz was determined to divorce Lucky because he's a junkie, but doesn't know what to do if the baby is Jason's. Lulu demanded to know why Liz was abandoning Lucky when he's working hard to recover and needs his family. Liz said he can't get sober for somebody else. She loves him, but cannot live with him. Kelly asked Liz to get Jason to sign a test release. Meanwhile, Jason was getting blasted by Sam for "denying" her a baby but "giving" one to Liz. He once claimed his life was too dangerous for Sam, so what about for Liz? He confessed he was wrong to push her away then, but now it's Liz's choice. Sam guessed he'd already asked her to marry him, and he admitted it. Sam couldn't watch Liz get everything she wanted, and walked out. Later, Liz brought Jason the form to sign and noted she was furious because Lucky got Maxie pregnant. Sam went to Sonny and asked if Jason would have been allowed to raise their baby (if she had lived). Sonny told her to chill, but Sam believed she was left out in the cold. Still, she loves Jason, and vowed to fight for him.

Ric eavesdropped on Jason and Liz, and realized that Jason may be father of Liz's baby.
