GH Recaps Week of January 15, 2007

As Robin and Patrick basked in their morning afterglow, the furniture movers returned the couch. Robin told them there must be a mistake but Patrick assured them there wasn't. Robin didn't believe that he actually wanted the piece because of the previous day's argument. "How dare you accuse me of being thoughtful," he barked. Robin wanted to be sure that the couch wasn't just a gesture to make peace. He couldn't seem to convince Robin that he enjoys being a grown-up. They then began bickering over the placement of an end table, which sent Robin storming out. At the hospital, Robin complained to Lainey about Patrick's considerate behavior. The shrink was unable to spot the dilemma in the scenario. Robin claimed this was all a test for him to see how clingy she can be so he can dump her. Lainey advised Robin to lighten up. Patrick showed up. Robin suggested they break up. He replied by offering her the key to his apartment and asked her to move in.
Still reeling from chemo and frustrated that she was unable to assemble a toy for Kristina, Alexis couldn't wait until Viola took the girls out so she could indulge in a marijuana cigarette. Alexis was unaware that while she smoked, she was being photographed. Later, when the girls returned with Viola, the toy was assembled and Alexis was pigging out on chocolate. Kristina was thrilled to see her mommy was feeling better and gave her a big hug.
At Metro Court, Sam's background check came back with questions, but her interviewer, Mr. Maddox, said there were no problems with her application. As Sam had coffee with Jason, she received a call that she got the desk clerk job. She was elated, then wondered if Jason made a call on her behalf. He swore he had nothing to do with it. Sam showed up at work and picked up her uniform. After she left, Maddox told Sam's supervisor to watch herself — no one wants to get on Jason Morgan's bad side. Sam started her first day, and Maddox informed her about the hotel's vault system.
At the nurses' station, Lucky and Elizabeth made plans to meet for dinner at 7 p.m. As he got in the elevator, Lucky fondled the stolen vial of pills. Later, he almost popped a few, but didn't.
At the hospital, Alcazar warned Mr. Craig that Sonny was a threat to the incoming shipment. Meanwhile, Ric gave Sonny a hard time about the trouble between he and Alcazar and demanded to know more about the incoming shipment. Sonny stayed mum, then went to visit Alcazar. Sonny demanded to know what the significance of the shipment was but Alcazar would only say that the shipment was bigger than both of them and he'd better stay out of it or else he will die. Sonny left and filled in Jason. They agreed it's time to find out what Alcazar is up to.
Liz met up with Jason at the coffee house and mentioned her dinner date with Lucky. She headed over to the hospital, where Bobbie informed her that Audrey left to pick up Cameron at day care and take him home. When Bobbie expressed her happiness about their date, Liz quickly corrected that it was a dinner, not a reconciliation.
Ric received the photos of Alexis smoking pot and called the judge in his custody case. Shortly thereafter, the police showed up at the Lake House with a search warrant. They found the marijuana and arrested Alexis.
In a dock flophouse that overlooked the coffee shop, Mr. Craig met an assassin and handed him Sonny's photograph. As Sonny and Jason left the coffee house, the gunman took aim at Sonny.

Lucky didn't lift the pills from the drug bust but was insulted that Rodriguez thought he would. He then admitted he considered it but didn't follow through.
At the hospital, Epiphany let Elizabeth know Audrey called and could babysit so she could have dinner with Lucky. Liz seemed indifferent and, of course, Epiphany had to put in her two cents about not giving Lucky false hope.
Alexis got bad news from her doctor — the chemotherapy wasn't doing the trick just yet. Upon hearing that, Ric subpoenaed Sonny to testify in his custody suit against Alexis. Sonny asked his attorney, Diane, to do something to get Ric off Alexis's back. Diane gave Ric a laundry list of reasons why he'd lose if he tried to sue a cancer-stricken woman for custody after sleeping with her daughter and stealing her job.
Sam told Jason she's not pregnant yet — they'll just have to keep trying. When he quizzed her about leaving ELQ, she reiterated that she wanted to get a job on her own. Sam applied for a job at Metro Court but worried about the background check. Sam then lied to the interviewer, stating that she doesn't know the owners of the hotel.
At the hospital, Lulu and Dillon left Monica an anonymous note saying, "I know what you did. Meet me in the attic." Monica was visibly upset. The kids then proceeded to the attic and waited to see if she'd show. Monica eventually arrived, and the kids accused her of murder. She denied the charges and said she was looking out for the their welfare, warning them to let the past stay buried.
At his apartment, Robin and Patrick continued playing verbal volleyball about "Couch-gate." Robin: "FYI, it's a piece of furniture. I'm not asking you to marry me." She was not thrilled when he compared her to a couch. She assured Patrick that she was not planning on moving in with him. He vowed that he's happy with her and they way things are now. He considered moving back to Metro Court but they fell into bed before he could leave the apartment. The Bickersons made love and made up, and Robin said if he ever asked her to move in, she'd say no.
Sonny visited Alexis at home, where they discussed Ric and the custody case. She had to vomit. She assured Sonny it was a residual effect of the chemo. ("I never felt more attractive.") She told Sonny that she has no intention of backing down from Ric.
Jason met Elizabeth for coffee/tea at the coffee shop. She feigned happiness about he and Sam trying to start a family but, again, didn't come clean about her baby's paternity.... Sam went to the coffee house, where she and Diane chatted about her job interview. At Metro Court, it dawned on the interviewer that Sam was Jason Morgan's girlfriend.... At the hospital, Elizabeth told Lucky that Audrey could babysit and she'd have dinner with him. He mentioned his temptation and that he overcame it. He then got in the elevator and pulled a vial of pills from his pocket.... Ric went by Alexis's house and saw her through the window smoking marijuana.

As they were having breakfast at Patrick's apartment, movers came with a couch. Patrick said he didn't order it, but Robin explained that she did. Although surprised, Patrick said he appreciated that Robin went out and bought him a couch. "Would you feel better if we tried it out?" he asked. She claimed to be late and split. At the hospital, Robin confided to Lainey that she feared she might have overstepped her bounds with Patrick while at the apartment, Pete warned Patrick that he needed to set boundaries with his girlfriend. Later, Robin returned to Patrick's and discovered that he returned the couch.
At the hospital, Lucky asked Elizabeth to dinner for Friday night. She said she'd check with Grams to babysit and let him know. Lucky met up with Rodriquez at Kelly's, where Lucky felt confident that he still has another chance with Elizabeth. Maxie entered, saying she was on her way to a job interview and stopped in to see Georgie. Maxie and Lucky clashed and he stormed out.
After she quit ELQ, Jason had a feeling there was something going on with Sam that she wasn't telling him. She simply stated she didn't want to be pressured by Edward to produce a Quartermaine heir. He headed out and bumped into Elizabeth. She shared her dilemma with Jason, saying that she was afraid Lucky would end up back on pills if they didn't reunite but added that she wasn't sure if she wants a future with him.
Dillon went a little overboard when he created a distraction to allow Lulu to search for Rick's datebook again. Out of ideas, he wanted the family to vote on forcing Edward into retirement. He ended up announcing to the family that he was giving up studying business to become a film director. Afterward, he filled in Lulu and thanked her for helping him realize what he really wanted to do with his life.
Sam asked Spinelli if there was a way to permanently erase a person's images and information from the Internet.... Elizabeth went to confession and unknowingly confided her baby dilemma to Father Ruiz.... Pete showed up at Kelly's and flirted with Georgie.... On a drug bust, Lucky spotted some pills and was tempted to steal them.... Jason found Sam's home pregnancy test.

At the courthouse, Carly walked out of the wedding ceremony and locked herself in a side room. Lulu tried to coax her out and apologized for bringing the boys to the ceremony, while Michael said he was sorry to his dad. Then, Jason showed up at the door. Carly told him to save his breath — she wasn't going to marry Sonny. After a talk with Jason, however, she opened the door.
Elsewhere in the courthouse, Diane told Sonny that he should 'fess up (that since the woman who planted the gun was in custody, there was no reason for Sonny and Carly to marry.) Sonny insisted to Diane that Carly loved him more than she loved Jax.
Carly came out and went through with the service, even though she hadn't brought a ring for Sonny. He and the crowd were happy at its conclusion, but Carly was heartbroken. Back at Sonny's, the "happy couple" had a small reception with Mike, Bobbie, the boys and a cake. After Sonny grabbed Carly for a dance, she "cut in" with Michael. Max arrived, downed a glass of champagne and told Sonny they had a problem and he had to leave to tend to a business matter. Sonny returned later to find Carly and the boys gone. They were on a plane to Aspen so she could get some space from Sonny. Sonny realized Max tricked him and was furious.
Oh his private plane, Nikolas lost his temper when he was detained by a foreign official in his pursuit of Helena and Spencer. Emily's cool head prevailed. Nik thanked Em for her love and support during this trying time. Once in the air and headed for Greece, Nik apologized for forgetting Em's birthday.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy was the cat that swallowed the canary as she presented Sam an envelope with Sam's former alias. Sam was shocked when she saw the photos of her secret past and demanded to know what Tracy wanted. Sam's resignation from ELQ, of course. Shortly thereafter, Sam thanked Edward for the opportunity and resigned from her job. He saw through her explanation and realized Tracy was behind the decision. Sam didn't want to expose her blackmailer, so then Edward laid into Jason for making Sam quit. Jason had no idea what his grandfather was talking about.
After Elizabeth confronted Maxie about faking her pregnancy, she confessed all to Lucky and explained how she did it. "Who are you?" the shocked Spencer shot back. He read her the riot act. Then, Lucky told Maxie he never wanted her to come near him or Elizabeth ever again. Maxie said it appeared that everyone got what they deserved and walked away. As Lucky sat there in disbelief, Liz tried offering him comfort. Knowing word would get out soon enough, Maxie went to Kelly's where she told Georgie and Lulu about faking her pregnancy. As the girls sat in shock, Liz and Lucky entered. They turned to go but Maxie excused herself. Before she left, though, Maxie told Lucky that Liz wasn't there because she loved him — it was because she didn't want him to pop pills again.
Skye was overjoyed when Lorenzo regained consciousness, as Mr. Craig watched them from afar. She recapped the shooting and its aftermath to him. Alcazar then asked Skye for a few moments alone to talk business with Mr. Craig, which she granted. Once alone, the men discussed the risky shipment that's pending. Alcazar refused to share details of its arrival and Epiphany entered and kicked Craig out. Skye returned and questioned her man about the shipment and its value. She declared that if they're going to be partners, then she needs to know everything.
