Carly dreamed about being trapped in the hotel but awoke safe beside Sonny. Sonny made Carly breakfast, explaining it was "the least I can do for my wife." Carly informed Sonny that nothing had changed and she still planned to divorce him. She continued that they only worked well in a crisis, and she still loves Jax. Sonny declared he and Carly were soulmates, but she countered that she didn't like the person she was with him. Michael and Morgan bounded into the penthouse with Bobbie. Michael protested when Carly informed him that they would be returning to her home and not continuing to live with Sonny.

Scott explained to Lulu that he came back to Port Charles to see Laura. He wondered if Laura asked about him or said anything about Rick Webber. Skye demanded to know what Scott was doing there and accused him of using Lulu to get back at Luke. Skye reminded Scott that when she last saw him, he left her for dead in a burning hotel. Lulu questioned Scott about his past with Laura. Tracy kicked Scott out of Lulu's room and warned her stepdaughter that he was toxic. Lulu told Spinelli that she thought she had a new lead, and Scott overheard her say that she believes he knows who killed Rick Webber.

Alan again asked to speak to Jason and Emily promised she would try to find him. Alan ordered Tracy to stop worrying about him. "I intend to stick around and torture you for decades to come," he warned. Edward then told Alan, "You're a man filled with love and courage, just like your mother, a man that I am proud to call my son." Alan declared it "worth the wait" to hear his father talk to him like that. Alan assured Skye that he would never disown her, despite Edward's demands that he do just that. Alan's monitor began beeping with Monica and Emily by his side.

Liz told Sam that she was worried if she told Lucky "the truth" he would replapse. When Sam wondered, "The truth about what?" Liz realized that Jason hadn't told Sam about the baby. Sam revealed that she couldn't carry a baby to term and that she and Jason likely wouldn't be able to adopt because of their dangerous lifestyles. When Edward told Sam that there was nothing more important than children, a visibly pained Sam excused herself. Sam watched the news report touting her as a hero. Meanwhile, Mr. Craig broke into Metro Court and Jason pulled a gun on him. The ceiling came crashing down and Jason and Mr. Craig had a shoot-out. Mr. Craig warned Jason to let him go or be sorry.

Robin woke up from surgery to find Patrick doting on her. She said that knowing she'd be with him again is what kept her going throughout the hostage ordeal. Patrick said he didn't know what he would have done if he had lost her. Mac, Maxie and Georgie arrived to check in on Robin. After their visit, Patrick told Robin to go to sleep. Before she did, Robin apologized to Patrick for hounding him to take his next HIV test. Patrick admitted he didn't take the test yet, because he was waiting for her to come out of surgery. Patrick then had a nurse draw blood for his test, and vowed to Robin that the test's outcome won't change his feelings for her or their future.

Mr. Craig continued to hold an unarmed Lucky at gunpoint. As Craig took aim at Lucky, Cruz pushed Lucky out of the line of fire, while Craig escaped. Lucky unleashed his anger and grief over losing Elizabeth. Cruz got a call on his cell that Elizabeth was alive. Lucky rushed to the Metro Court triage site. Epiphany reassured him that Elizabeth and her baby seemed fine and were taken to GH. Sam was overcome with emotion at seeing Jason and Elizabeth alive and OK.

Three asked Maxie for help. Maxie expressed worries about the consequences for helping him, especially consequences for Mac. Three revealed his real name: Cooper Barrett. Cooper hid when Georgie interrupted. Maxie left with Georgie, but Maxie soon returned and fed Cooper and promised to take care of him. At GH, Lucky barged into Elizabeth's room and broke down while he hugged her and cried. As Lucky doted on Elizabeth, she tried to break the news to him that her baby isn't his, but he kept interrupting her so she never go to tell him the truth. Jason arrived to see Alan, but Monica told him he was sleeping and asked Jason to come back in a little while. Elsewhere in the hospital, Tracy admonished Luke to put Dillon, Milo and Spinelli in their place and keep them away from Lulu. Luke got word from Lulu's surgeon that she came out of surgery just fine and would be OK. Luke went to visit Lulu, who was happy to see him. Luke reviewed Lulu's three suitors. Luke and Lulu enjoyed a sweet and tender reunion. When Spinelli took his turn to visit Lulu, Tracy berated Luke and Lulu's other suitors outside. Spinelli's visit to Lulu was cut short by Jason, who asked Spinelli to get online and track down Craig, who stole a paramedic's uniform at the triage site. Dillon took his turn visiting Lulu next, fawning all over her until Milo showed up. Lulu enjoyed the attention while Milo and Dillon tried to one-up each other. Georgie arrived just as Dillon was fawning all over Lulu again, which sent Georgie off in a huff. Dillon ran after her. Georgie suggested that they've become older and changed and probably aren't the best for each other, and suggested that it's best for them to break up. Dillon reluctantly conceded that they are over. As Lulu rested in her room, she received another visitor — Scotty, who told her as her mother's first husband he's never stopped caring for Laura. Scotty asked Lulu for a moment of her time. Sam pulled Jason aside and tearfully told him that she/they can't have a baby after all. Jason freaked out and blamed himself when Sam told him it was from the time she got shot in his arms on the Metro Court balcony. Emily paid Alan another visit. He woke up and asked for Jason, just as Jason approached his room.

Carly and Sonny returned to the penthouse together. Carly called Bobbie to let Michael and Morgan know she and Sonny were safe. Bobbie told her that Jason had promised the boys they would be okay. Sonny assured a worried Carly that Jason would be fine. Carly and Sonny praised each other's behavior during the crisis. Carly went upstairs to take a bath, and Sonny interrupted to inform her that Jason had been found. Sonny helped an injured Carly wash her hair and then kissed her. Sonny and Carly confessed that they missed each other, but she told Sonny he had to leave. Later, Carly showed up at Sonny's bedroom door and kissed him. They began to make love.

Monica fretted to Nikolas that another heart attack would kill Alan. Then Monica updated Tracy on Alan's condition. Meanwhile, Alan asked Emily about Jason, and she fibbed that he was fine. Alan praised Emily's surgery skills and she credited her father with her interest in medicine. Skye arrived at the hospital to check on Alan and Monica and Tracy blasted her. Emily defended Skye and urged her to go in to see Alan when Tracy and Monica left to attend to other business. Skye apologized and promised Alan that she never meant to hurt him, and Alan claimed he didn't blame her. Monica promised to not take Alan for granted again.

Luke rescued Lulu. A doctor explained that the glass in her leg had severed an artery, but he expected Lulu to make a full recovery after surgery. Spinelli arrived at the hospital to inquire about Lulu. He told Luke his daughter was the "most completely awesome human I have ever met." Dillon and Milo arrived and bickered with Spinelli over Lulu. Luke said dating any of them would be his daughter's choice. Meanwhile, Three showed up in Maxie's bedroom and asked for her help.

Sam and Lucky were forbidden from going back into Metro Court to search for Liz and Jason. Lucky worried that there was no way the baby could have survived the explosion. He went after Mr. Craig and Sam learned that Jason and Liz had been found. Craig taunted Lucky, claiming to have walked over Liz's unconscious body on his way out of the building. Meanwhile, Elizabeth turned down Jason's marriage proposal. When he wondered why, she answered, "Lucky and Sam." She wondered how he could choose the baby over Sam, but Jason thought it would be selfish to put his happiness ahead of the baby. "Our lives don't fit together," Liz sniffed, explaining she wanted to marry him in the same way she wanted to fulfill her other youthful fantasies. "They're beautiful dreams, but they're not real," she reasoned. "I can't be with you." Liz and Jason learned that they would be rescued. Jason wondered if Liz would let him see their child and she promised she wouldn't keep him away from the baby. Liz worried that Sam and Lucky weren't ready to hear the truth and Lucky might go back to using drugs. Jason explained that he had to tell Sam the truth, and she realized she would have to tell Lucky as well. Liz was rescued and learned that her baby was unharmed. Jason was saved next and ran into Sam's waiting arms.

At the Metro Court site, Elizabeth revealed to Jason that he is the father of her baby. A shell-shocked Jason asked Elizabeth why she didn't tell him sooner. Elizabeth claimed it was because he had left town and Sonny jumped to the wrong conclusion and assumed it was Lucky and praised how good it was that the baby wasn't Jason's after all. Elizabeth explained she thought it would be better for everyone's sake if he never knew. Jason said he wouldn't judge her because he and Carly did the same thing about Michael, but Jason said he thought Elizabeth knew him better than that. Elizabeth maintained all she's been trying to do since she found out she was pregnant is figure out what's best for the baby. Jason suggested that they could maybe figure that out together. Elizabeth expressed her relief at finally having the truth come out. Jason worried about Alan's status. He recalled his former marriage proposal to Elizabeth, who said she could accept his line of work and trusts him. He asked if she could handle a life with him, and he renewed his proposal to her: "We can make this work — just marry me!"

Spinelli freaked out about a missing Lulu's whereabouts when rescue workers pulled him to safety. Outside Spinelli shared his fears for Lulu with Dillon. Separately, Luke ran into the site searching for Lulu, against the advice of the rescue workers. After much searching Luke found what he thought was Lulu's hand, but it ended up being the hand of a dead woman. Luke freaked out and yelled for Lulu. Luke prayed for Laura to help him find their little girl. As Luke resumed his search he saw her hand sticking out of the rubble, and ran over to dig her out from a mountain of debris. Luke picked up Lulu and carried her out to safety. Sonny and Carly pulled themselves out of the rubble only to be confronted by a gun-wielding Mr. Craig, who demanded that Carly hand over the briefcase as Sonny held a gun on Craig. When debris began to fall on top of them, Mr. Craig escaped. Sonny and Carly walked to safety, and Sonny surrendered the briefcase to Ric. He gave Ric the combination to open it, but Skye appeared and offered a contradictory combination that came from Alcazar. Sonny accused Skye of giving Ric the wrong combination to self-destruct the case and destroy any incriminating evidence against Alcazar. Ric sided with Skye, saying he can't trust Sonny because of Sonny's past dishonesty. Ric opened the case using Skye's code, only to have the case destruct in his hands.

Elsewhere outside, Nikolas and Lucky tried to console themselves about Lulu and Elizabeth. Dr. Ford treated Emily, praised her efforts with Robin, and referred her to GH for further treatment. At GH, Patrick tried to convince Robin that she needs additional surgery. The two kissed. Nikolas and Emily joined them to check on Robin, and the four shared a tender reunion. Alone, before she was wheeled into surgery, Robin asked Patrick to go to the lab and get his HIV test. Patrick told Robin his biggest fear was being HIV-positive until he feared that he'd lost her forever. The two kissed and Robin called Patrick her hero as Patrick wiped tears from his eyes. Tracy told Alan that the hostage situation was over and that Emily is OK. Alan asked about Jason. Monica visited Alan and the two discussed Lulu and Dillon's suspicions of him killing Rick. Alan told Monica how much he loves her and Monica reciprocated the declarations of love. Alan thanked Monica for never quitting on him. He told Monica he knows he's alive now because of her. As Alan drifted back to sleep Nikolas and Emily approached. Monica warned Emily how weak Alan was, and to not say anything to upset him. As the two enjoyed a sweet reunion, Alan immediately asked Emily about Jason.
