In Montreal, Jax proposed to Carly, who gushed over the five-karat ring. On the plane ride home from Montreal, Jax suggested that he and Carly join the "Mile-high" club. She eagerly accepted. They were soon interrupted by the captain, who announced that they'd be hitting turbulence, but didn't let that stop them.

Alcazar prepared to put his plan against Sonny and Jason in motion. Meanwhile, Jason and Sonny suddenly had to dodge a barrage of bullets as shooters targeted the Cellar. The guys fought back as upstairs, Lulu, Logan, Cooper and Maxie, laid low. Downstairs, Jason did this cool maneuver where he slithered across the floor under tables to get away. Sonny managed to shoot a couple of thugs, but ended up getting shot in the head... Maxie called for help; a worried Spinelli came to warn them. The thugs grabbed Maxie, but Logan and Coop helped save her... Skye thought about what Ric had said about Alcazar faking his brain damage. Ric then came by and confronted Alcazar about the shootout.... Spinelli was pleased to see that Jason was alive.

Jason and Mac tried to get to the bottom of the shootout.... Ric blasted Alcazar for coming up with such a badly executed plan to bring down Sonny. Skye demanded that Ric leave their home. Alcazar insisted that he could fix things and that he arranged it because of his love for Skye. Skye was not pleased and feared his enemies would retaliate. After, she went to see Ric and told him that he was right, that Alcazar was faking his brain damage. She was willing to do whatever it takes to protect her child.

At the hospital, the doctors frantically tried to tend to the shootout victims. Spinelli began rapping (seriously!) for the doctors. "Do you have a head injury?" asked Epiphany. After, Spinelli bugged Robin and Patrick for information on Sonny. Patrick wondered if the teen belonged in the psych ward.

Sam, looking gorgeous in a red gown, posed for a photo shoot. She then posed in a turquoise top. She was flattered when the crew complimented her on her good work. She thanked Amelia for helping her out. Sam was horrified when a news reporter soon arrived to question her about Jason's involvement in the shootout.

Elizabeth went into labor. A concerned Lucky sat by Elizabeth's bedside in the hospital. She assured him that she and the baby were okay and she didn't need him to wait there. Lucky went to see if he could help Mac with the investigation, but Mac sent him back to be with his wife. Meanwhile, Lulu went to check in on her sister-in-law and filled her in on the shootout. Liz was upset to hear about Sonny having a concussion, but was relieved that Jason was okay. When Liz noted how much she and Lucky owe Jason, Lulu suggested she let Jason be a part of the baby's life. That conversation ended when Lucky returned..... Upon finding out the Liz was in the hospital, Spinelli frantically mentioned to Sam that someone has to tell "him," meaning Jason. Sam wondered who he was talking about; he quickly said he meant Lucky.... Despite the shootout, Amelia was anxious for Sam to get back to work on the TV show.... When he spied Sam and Jason together, Spinelli cryptically informed Jason that Liz went into labor. Jason went to see Patrick, who told him that Sonny had a concussion.... Carly and Jax came home to the bad news about Sonny and Jason.

Carly asked Sonny to babysit as she was off to Montreal with Jax. Sonny wished her a good trip. As much as it pained him to do so, Sonny defended Carly's relationship with Jax to Michael. Sonny went to Kelly's to pick up dinner, where Sonny punished Michael with a healthy dinner of chicken and broccoli. Mike slipped his grandson some cookies anyway, even though Sonny stood firm on Michael's punishment for locking him and Carly in the basement.

Jax checked an engagement ring out of the Metro Court vault and prepared to propose to Carly. When Carly met Jax at Metro Court, the couple took off. "No looking back," Jax toasted on the plane. "The best is yet to come." Carly asked if Jax ever took Brenda to Montreal. He did not, he stated. Once they arrived, they shared a romantic dinner and Carly recalled her trailer park roots. The conversation shifted to their relationship. Then, they danced.

Coop asked Max to inform Sonny that he passed the entrance exam to the police academy. Logan wanted to know if Coop would get him hired at Metro Court as his replacement. Maxie blasted Logan, saying his employment was not Coop's responsibility. Maxie went to Jason and asked him to hire Logan to be a part of Sonny's organization. Lulu entered and warned Jason not to trust Maxie. Jason dismissed Maxie, then Sonny called, asking him to meet at The Cellar.

Sam was flummoxed by all the press coverage she was receiving (as were we!). Despite the annoyance of reporters, Jason refused to ask Sam to sign the restraining order against the press — it was to be her decision. Sam checked with Amelia, who advised her, "Absolutely not!. .. You can always go back to being a desk clerk."

Skye caught Lorenzo having a conversation with a hit man. He lied and lamented how much he hates not having his memory back. (Faker!) Skye ordered a hit on Sonny and Jason while Ric told Skye that Alcazar was faking his illness. She refused to believe his claim.

Lucky and Elizabeth met at Kelly's for a bite. Later, the press invaded Kelly's asking Sonny for a quote about Sam, which upset Michael and infuriated Sonny. Mike pulled out a bat and Milo escorted the reporters to the door. Michael wanted to know why they referred to Sam as Sonny's mistress. Sonny called Diane, who informed him that Sam refused to sign the restraining order against the press. Sonny was not happy.

Lorenzo told Lila Rae that he felt bad for deceiving Skye but, "It's almost over." He then got a call — the hit was on. "I want the place running with their blood," Alcazar remarked. Skye came home and overheard Lorenzo ordering the hit.

Logan and Coop arrived at Kelly's and helped Sonny elude the reporters. Logan told Coop he really wanted to get a job with Sonny. Maxie and Lulu arrived and argued. Lulu slapped Maxie and the boys had to separate the girls.

Liz had a stomach pain.... Jax gave Carly the ring.... At the Cellar, Sonny ordered Jason to get Sam to sign the restraining order. Just then, shots rang out.

Carly was angered to find the press on her doorstep asking questions like does it bother her that Sonny's mistress has her own TV show. Furious, she called Sonny and ordered him to get rid of the press. Michael told Carly that Morgan was curious what a mistress was. Jax arrived and Carly vented about the reporters and revealed that she still holds a grudge against Sam for her time with Sonny. Jax was a little miffed with Carly's jealousy regarding Sonny but let it slide. Jax then called in a favor and got rid of the pesky reporters, much to Carly's delight.

Georgie bumped into Dillon setting up for his date with Lulu. He was creating an evening at a Parisian cafe for her. After an awkward exchange, she left.

Lulu went to Jason seeking romantic advice. He wasn't much help. Lulu left to get into her white dress for the date with Dillon. When she met up with Dillon, he told her to close her eyes and picture them in Paris. It wasn't working for her. Dillon was disappointed that Lulu didn't like his idea.

Sam was spooked when she saw the set of her new TV show. It prompted a troubling flashback. Sam took a nap and had a vivid nightmare in which she was being attacked by an angry man. She awoke with a start, and when Amelia called her "Angela," Sam snapped, "Don't call me that!" Amelia claimed she was just repeating what Sam called out in her sleep.

At Kelly's, Milo and Spinelli conspired against Dillon and his date. Spinelli admitted that he sent Dillon an e-mail that tracks his outgoing IMs. A dejected Georgie saw the twosome and spilled the location of Dillon's date. Spinelli returned to the penthouse and asked Jason for some romantic advice. "What is the secret of your mojo?" he demanded to know. Jason was uncomfortable being a sounding board for Spinelli and Lulu. Spinelli decided he needed to be more tortured and enigmatic like Stone Cold, since that's what gets the ladies. After Jason got a call from Stan and left, Spinelli put on one of Jason's leather jackets and took his keys.

Maxie caught up with Coop, who was studying for the police academy entrance exam at Kelly's. She still wasn't thrilled with him joining the force, but she did give him her support. Maxie popped into the PCPD with brownies and when Mac and Cruz were distracted, she lifted a copy of the entrance exam. After a chat with Mac, she then replaced it without being detected. Maxie headed straight to Kelly's where she gave Coop the copy of the test. Just then, Georgie poked her head in and wanted to know what Maxie was up to. Maxie covered without being detected.

Jason met Diane at the coffeehouse, which was also swamped with reporters. Diane told Jason that Sonny wants Sam to sign a restraining order to deal with the reporters. Just then, Sam entered. Diane explained the situation. Jason kept Sam from telling off the reporters. However, she was wary of signing the restraining order without talking to Amelia.

Lulu and Dillon heard a crash. It was Spinelli, who crashed Jason's motorcycle. Lulu volunteered to get Spinelli home, leaving Dillon fuming that she was walking out on their date. Spinelli, however, was ecstatic. Dillon vented his frustration to Milo, while Spinelli's ruse was working with Lulu.

At the TV studio, Amelia revealed to a set dresser that her father owned a lamp similar to the one on the set. Hmm.

At the coffeehouse, Jax returned to the table and Amelia told him she answered Carly's call. Jax opened up to her about his feelings and frustrations with Carly.

As Dillon, Spinelli and Milo bickered over Lulu at the penthouse, she got fed up and left. The boys followed her back to the coffeehouse where they fellas all apologized. She said this was too stressful and stated that she'd be friends with them and that's all. No dating. The guys moved to confer. They counter-offered: one date with each of them and then she can choose who, if anyone, she'd continue to see. Lulu agreed to the deal.

At Carly's house, Sonny and Carly disciplined Michael, who was unrepentant for his trick of locking mom and dad in the basement in the hopes they'd reconcile. Sonny grounded Michael for a month and kissed his son good night. Sonny left.

In the stuck Metro Court elevator, a clueless Lucky misunderstood Sam's question about last summer and thought she was referring to his drug use, not the fact that Elizabeth and Jason slept together. She then gave a discourse on how sad she is she can't have a family with Jason. Then, the elevator started moving again. In the restaurant, Jason was about to ask Liz a question about the baby when Sam and Lucky arrived and interrupted. The couples then went their separate ways. At their table, Liz nearly had a heart attack when Lucky said he and Sam discussed last summer. She was relieved that Sam didn't slip about their rendezvous. Meanwhile, Jason literally bumped into Alcazar and caught that Al instinctively reached for his gun.

At the hospital, Robin told Alexis she was dehydrated. She then grew alarmed when Alexis mentioned that Mr. Brosnan was keeping an eye on Kristina. In the waiting area, Mr. Craig was teaching Kristina a card game. Just then, Patrick came over, unaware of Craig's true identity. Craig used a phony accent to throw off Patrick's sense of deja vu. Robin interrupted the exchange and shooed Patrick away. Kristina then asked Craig why he was talking funny. Robin managed to convince Craig to leave and she kept an eye on Kristina. Alexis was discharged and Kristina mentioned that Mr. Craig speaks in different voices.

Max called Carly to alert her that Alcazar and Skye were in the Metro Court restaurant. Carly went to the hotel and told her "guests" that while she couldn't legally kick them out, she did inform the staff that they were in part responsible for the hostage crisis and couldn't vouch for how their food would be prepared. The couple stayed for dinner but were wary.

At the Q mansion, Edward taped a conversation between Luke and Tracy about how they forged Alan's will. He didn't turn them in — he blackmailed Tracy for more ELQ stock. Afterward, Alan vowed to haunt and taunt Tracy until she undid her dirty deed. A disbelieving Luke was left frustrated. At the penthouse, Sam ripped up a photo of herself and had an Angela Monroe flashback. Spinelli entered and he and Sam talked about her longing for motherhood.

At the cellar, Jason met with Sonny and told him he's convinced Alcazar's faking his brain injury while back at the restaurant, Alcazar consulted with a mysterious man, who told him that Sonny was now using The Cellar for business purposes. "The perfect place for an ambush," Alcazar plotted.

At Carly's house, Carly and Sonny were furious that Michael locked them in the basement. Jax was surprised to hear Morgan tell him that he can't come in because his mom was with his dad. Sly dog Michael revealed he left food in the basement for them and ran off. Then, he tended to Jax's questions. Jax believed Michael's story that Carly went off to meet Sonny at Metro Court and that Leticia was upstairs. Jax headed out. In the basement, Sonny pointed out that Michael is indeed their son. They were surprised to find Michael had left them food and wine, along with photos from happier times. During their ensuing chat, she again copped to having feelings for him but pointed out they're bad for each other. Sonny wanted to make up for the past. "Come back to me," he whispered with that sultry bad-boy tone. Then, Michael finally relented and let his parents out.

At the penthouse, Amelia asked Sam if she planned on getting pregnant. Sam admitted that she can't have kids. Amelia feigned sympathy, then told Sam to savor every day and left.

At the hospital, Lucky wondered why choosing a Spencer name for the baby was stressing Liz out. She denied the remark and they made out.

At the lake house, Ric wanted to know how Alexis could trust herself and Kristina with a perfect stranger (i.e. Mr. Craig). She pointed out that since he had sex with her eldest daughter, then took her job, then took her youngest daughter away, trusting people wasn't coming easily these days. Unbeknownst to them, Mr. Craig eavesdropped outside. Then, the argument got ugly as each spilled the other's dirty laundry. "Your mommy issues top my daddy issues," Alexis taunted Ric. Outside, Kristina was in search of a doll and almost ran into Craig. She returned with the doll and two tulips for Alexis. Clearly not feeling well, Alexis still ordered Ric to leave. Afterward, Craig showed up with the meds Alexis dropped at Wyndemere. He charmed her into letting him in.

At the coffeehouse, Lulu and Spinelli each debated about what Jason should do with the paternity secret. Spinelli said Stone Cold needs to come clean but Lulu was fearful about what it would do to Lucky. Lulu yelled at Spinelli and hurt his feelings. Jason dismissed Spinelli and talked to Lulu alone. Lulu admitted to flip-flopping but said she believes he and Liz made the right decision and she begged Jason to honor it.

Amelia phoned her P.I. with Sam's news, then bumped into Jax, who couldn't locate Carly or Sonny. He bought her a coffee and vented about his frustrations with Carly. He stated his patience is really wearing thin. Dillon entered and asked Milo where Lulu was. Milo reported that Spinelli ran out of the coffeehouse earlier, followed by Lulu five minutes later. As they took off to find Spinelli, Lulu showed up at the penthouse, where she apologized to Spinelli for her earlier behavior. He noted he'd already forgiven her. She asked Spinelli to keep the secret and he agreed. As they hugged, Dillon and Milo busted in. Dillon ordered Spinelli to let go of Lulu as Milo pointed his gun.

On their way to the Metro Court restaurant to meet their respective partners, Lucky and Sam got trapped in an elevator. They started talking about Jason and Liz, when Sam asked Lucky if seeing them together "after last summer" ever bothered him. Huh? he thought.

Craig pointed out that Alexis needed medical attention. She conceded and asked him to drive her and Kristina to the hospital.

Once out of the basement, Carly phoned Jax. Amelia picked up the line, prompting irate surprise on Carly's part.
