GH Recaps Week of April 30, 2007

Friday, May 4, 2007
Patrick and Robin's substitute counteragent didn't work, so Nikolas asked not to be kept alive on machines. Robin promised to respect his wishes. Patrick was sure Craig wouldn't let Nik die because he needs a new identity. Nik said he's so in love with Emily that he doesn't want to leave her, but he still balked at oxygen. Then Emily brought Spencer for a visit. Later, Nik removed his oxygen mask to croak, "I love–" before seizing up.

Alcazar played the recording of Skye collaborating with Ric for Skye to hear. She blasted his brain damage act and said she was just trying to protect Lila Rae. He insisted he was doing the same. Later, Skye went upstairs to check on her baby, then screamed, "Lila!" Lorenzo told Skye that Lila was taken to "a safe place" until Skye re-establishes her trustworthiness.

Amelia demanded that Sonny sign a waiver to lift the injunction against Sam's show because Sam will pull the media spotlight off Sonny once the show debuts. Else she'll make sure he stays in the headlines. As Jason prepped to hit Alcazar Sam arrived to tell him about the injunction. They exchanged "I love you"s and kissed. Ric dropped by the cafe to tell his brother that Alcazar was faking his brain damage and ordered the hit at The Cellar. Sonny deduced that Alcazar is holding something over Ric's head to keep him from prosecuting. Later, Amelia showed Sam that Sonny had indeed lifted the injunction, so now they have to get on a plane. Sam worried that their flight would be canceled by the rain, but Amelia sensed she was worried about Jason and told her not to throw away her career to be Jason's personal cheerleader. Sam considered dumping the show to stick close to Jason. later, Diane arrived at Sonny's cafe in the pouring rain, where he said he needed her to prepare a defense for a potential murder charge against Jason. To avoid becoming an accessory she insisted he speak in hypotheticals. So Sonny suggested that hypothetically an enemy may get hit tonight and Jason might not have an alibi, so he needs his hypothetical back covered. Suddenly a pair of women burst into Sonny's office unescorted. One identified herself as "Kate Howard."

Elizabeth woke up in pain to find the phone dead, then reached for her purse — to retrieve her cell phone? No, the car keys. But she didn't get far, passing out after opening the door. Luckily, Jason arrived (looking for Alcazar at the Spencer house?) and scooped her up. At GH, Lucky brought an injured man to Epiphany, who was manning the nurse's station on the 10th floor. Later, Jason delivered Liz to Epiphany (who apparently was also covering the ER), and Kelly ordered an emergency C-section. Jason told Liz to "fight" as she was wheeled into the operating room — where Epiphany was now scrubbed in as a surgical nurse. (Who else senses a union grievance coming?) In the OR, a distressed Jason watched through a convenient observation window (?!?) as Liz and the baby crashed.

Jerry told Michael and Morgan he has to go away on business and asked the boys to keep "Uncle Jerry's" visit on the down low. Then he left and switched into Mr. Craig mode. He called GH to check on Nik, but got pulled over by a cop, so he pulled a gun from his glovebox.

As Patrick tried to revive Nik, doctors shocked Liz and tried to coax her baby to breathe.

The man on the phone demanded that Sam repay $500,000 she stole from him years ago in the next 30 minutes. So she appealed to Amelia for the cash. Sam admitted she married Todd Sullivan under an alias and then cleaned him out. Sam didn't want Jason to know about this, because that would mean she lied when she previously claimed to have told him everything about her past. Amelia recommended not paying, but Sam was worried her show would be canceled and the crew would be out of work. When the "blackmailer" called, Amelia took the phone and pretended to cut a deal. Sam was very grateful.

Elizabeth told Jason that if something happened to her and the baby, it was okay if he stepped forward as the father. As thunder rumbled, he vowed to be there if the baby needs him; she promised to give the baby the best life possible. The child is due next Tuesday. They hugged in mutual support. Lucky returned home to check on Liz, who insisted she was fine even though she'd had a panic attack earlier.

Nikolas had breathing problems at GH — with no counteragent available, he had five hours left to live. Nik despaired of recovering. Patrick was hopeful, but admitted it would take "an hour to a day" to find a cure. "I don't have a day," Nik croaked. Meanwhile, Craig/Jerry asked his mother to pass along best wishes to Jax while he leaves town. Sonny arrived to check on the boys. As thunder rumbled, Jane extracted a promise not to interfere with Carly's marriage. As Sonny hugged the boys, Jane held a gun-wielding Jerry at bay. Sonny assured Michael that he's happy for Carly, and things "will be the same." Then Jason arrived. Sonny offered to take the boys out on the boat tomorrow. After he left, Jane scolded Jerry for his violent streak. Jerry resolved to leave town for Jax's benefit. They agreed he still has her eyes. Back at Sonny's cafe, Sonny admitted it kills him to see Jax taking his place, but he has to do what's best for his kids. Fearing the end was near, Nik asked to see Lucky, Lulu, Alexis and Spencer to say goodbye. He asked Emily to raise his boy, and wished he had appreciated her sooner. Before she could kiss him he struggled to breathe, but recovered. He apologized for pushing her away, but she never stopped loving him. Robin announced they may have a counteragent after all, but they haven't tested it. Nik insisted on being injected. Jane begged Jerry not to disappear. When Michael overheard her call him "Jerry," the kid asked, "You're Jax's brother?" Sonny decided Alcazar has to go, and the thunderstorm will provide good cover for Jason to hit him tonight.

Lulu and Dillon told Luke their suspicions that Scott was a blackmailer who killed Rick Webber — but he didn't. Luke asked her to explain her rationale, and Lulu recapped how she just couldn't accept her mother's relapse, so she decided telling Laura she wasn't guilty would wake her up. Luke assured her there's "no coming back" from Laura's condition, though he's had the same fantasy. Luke shared his regrets over Laura's condition and his role. He made mistakes when he found her in the attic. He should have gotten her professional help instead of taking her on the run to avoid prosecution. "It was a terrible mistake," he sighed.

Skye was mooning over baby pictures when Ric arrived, asking if Sonny or Jason have made "overtures." Furious over Lorenzo's faking brain damage, Skye said she'd help Jason hit Alcazar. Later, Alcazar returned and announced he's challenging Sonny for the Northeast shipping lanes. Then he secretly retrieved a hidden tape recorder to listen to Skye and Ric's damning conversation.

Lulu ran into Lucky at GH. Apparently not factoring in the storm, Lucky assured her Liz won't give birth for "days." Lulu asked for help making sure Scott doesn't get custody of Laura. Alone on the couch, Liz suddenly started bleeding and collapsed.

Lulu threatened Scott that she would tell Luke that he killed Rick Webber if he continued to press for legal custody of Laura, but Scott called her bluff, claiming he didn't care if Luke found out. Jason blasted Scott for harassing Lulu. Meanwhile, GhostAlan urged Tracy to tell Luke the truth that Scott killed Rick Webber, but when Luke arrived, Tracy remained mum on the subject. Luke asked Tracy to don a blonde wig, explaining that he wanted her to impersonate Laura at Shadybrook so that he could spirit the real Laura out of the institution. GhostAlan asked Luke to be more considerate to Tracy, and she thanked Alan for his kind words. Alan urged Tracy not to let Luke her talk her into playing Laura. Tracy asked her husband to let Nikolas fight Scott in court. If Scott won she would strategize with Luke about "other measures" to protect Laura...but that wouldn't include impersonating his catatonic wife. Luke badgered Dillon about Scott Baldwin. Lulu arrived and after some prodding, Luke realized Lulu thought Scott killed Rick.

Spinelli told Jason Liz's due date, which he obtained by hacking into the hospital computers. Jason chided Spinelli that he didn't want any info about the baby, but then wondered if the child was a boy or girl. Spinelli showed Jason the baby's ultrasound, but there was no gender information in the file. Meanwhile, Liz and Lucky received the same due date from their doctor, but Kelly warned that the baby could be born at any moment. Lucky left for work, where he vowed, "I'm not going to blow this [chance for a family] by taking a pill." Scott threatened Lucky not to interfere with his plans to gain legal custody of Laura. Mac warned that there was a big storm coming. Liz asked Jason to meet her at her home, where she told him to put the baby first if she was incapacitated. She explained that the baby's health was more important than keeping the baby's true paternity secret.

Nikolas answered Craig's phone call from Jane, who didn't identify herself. Craig stormed in and threatened that Spencer would be an orphan by 9 p.m. that night. The men fought, and Craig announced that he was leaving town — and leaving Nik for dead! Craig/Jerry said his goodbyes to Jane. "I'm leaving and this time I'm not coming back," he told her. Meanwhile, Robin and Patrick tried unsuccessfully to isolate the poison that Craig used on Nikolas. When Emily arrived, all three bickered about the situation. Nikolas rushed in and informed Emily that Craig had gone and without a counteragent, he would die in five hours.

Amelia planned to keep filming EVERYDAY HEROES despite the injunction. "I'll make sure you get everything that you deserve," smarmed Amelia to Sam. Amelia gave a crew guy orders for her latest scheme to gaslight Sam. Then she soothed her boss' fears about continuing the show despite the legal order to cease production. Sam received a disturbing call from her ex-husband, who was really the crew member from EVERYDAY HEROES.

Luke welcomed Tracy back from Seattle, where she arranged for ELQ to make "pots of cash." And she hadn't seen Alan — until now! Luke wanted her help getting guardianship of Laura, because he was subpoenaed by Scotty. Edward burst in and scolded Luke for fussing over Laura. Then Dillon arrived to complain that his tuition hadn't been paid. Dillon was stunned to hear about Scott's gambit. Edward suggested Laura didn't trust Luke. Scotty arrived to make his case, and Luke suggested killing him. Bobbie arrived. Later, Alan noted that Dillon was acting strangely around Scotty — maybe Dillon and Lulu figured out that Scotty killed Rick Webber. Tracy instructed Dillon to bury any such evidence. Then Luke told Tracy that Dillon has some kind of "dirt" on Scott, and he wants it.

While Diane sought Sonny at his office, the boss was still in bed, trying to bid farewell to Amelia — who insisted on stripping off for Round 3. Diane told Jason that Carly's marrying Jax would save Sonny alimony and agita. At EVERYDAY HEROES, a makeup artist was helping Sam cover up her hangover when a network suit, Brandon, scolded her for "working" too hard. When Amelia arrived Sam noted her lack of wardrobe change. Meanwhile, Sonny arrived at the cafe and told Diane to make the Sam-related headlines go away by any means necessary. Jason told Sonny about the Logan confrontation, and Sonny said Logan is "starting to be a pain in my ass." For his part, Logan was meeting Lulu at Kelly's. Georgie told Maxie she covered for her sister's sleeping with Coop. Maxie told her to back off. Logan told Lulu he served two tours in Iraq to secure his personal freedom to pursue a career in organized crime. Dillon burst in and tried to talk to her alone, but she was distracted by two thugs nabbing Logan. Back at the studio, Amelia advised Sam to "breathe deeply" and "bat your baby browns" for Brandon's benefit — and the good of the show. Then Diane arrived with an injunction filed by Sonny to cease production because he's being maligned. Sam assured Brandon she's not Sonny's mistress. Brandon told her to "do something" about her links to organized crime. If she can't get her personal life under control, the show will be killed. Amelia volunteered to explain things to Sonny. At that moment, Logan was delivered to Sonny, who scolded him for repeatedly sticking his nose in Sonny's business. Logan kept jabbering, drawing Sonny's ire. Suddenly, Lulu burst in seeking Sonny's help, but stopped when she realized Sonny had Logan. Sonny warned Logan that Lulu is under his protection, so if anything happens to her, "you're dead." Sonny added, "You will never work for me." Outside, Logan blasted her for "trying to help." Then he asked her to put in a good word for him with Sonny. Amelia threatened to "bury" Sonny in bad publicity. He questioned her "agenda" for working with Sam. Then they stopped arguing and got busy on Sonny's desk. Sam summoned Jason to the studio and asked him to get Sonny to lift the injunction. Brandon also pressured Jason to pressure Sonny.

Carly and Jax were enjoying their honeymoon until she had a prickly encounter with a sea urchin that prompted Jax to pluck spines from her...posterior. She instructed him to "kiss it and make it better," and they began to make love. Later, she admitted things won't always be this idyllic, but she will always love him. Jax said he's living a charmed life.

Lulu called the cops and chased away the thugs who were shooting at Logan. The duo ran all the way to Kelly's, where they bickered. When he offered to take her to bed, she slapped him. (Start the countdown....) Later, Lulu was leaving Carly a message to apologize for bailing on her wedding when Logan returned to apologize and thank her for saving his butt. Then he demanded she admit she likes him. She allowed that he's sometimes "tolerable." Suddenly the three stooges rushed in to apologize, so Logan left. She forgave the boys and got an ice cream sundae for them all to share, as long as they didn't argue. Logan watched from outside.

Amelia said she arrived at Sonny's room by mistake, but rather than letting her go, he invited her to share a drink "to Carly." Amelia called Sam attending Carly's wedding a bit "incestuous," and Sonny defended the "musical beds" routine. Amelia pointed out that drinking with a mobster is a PR nightmare. Then she kissed him. Then they tore each other's clothes off. In the afterglow, Sonny paid off his intended "date," Eva, to leave. Amelia said she had to leave to avoid entanglements with organized crime. Sonny agreed "this never happened," so then she decided to strip for another round.

At the gazebo, Nikolas told Emily Craig's weakness: He's been getting phone calls from family. Emily suddenly kissed him. Inside the reception, Liz lasciviously caressed her bulging belly while watching Jason dance with Carly. This made Sam so suspicious that she ordered Spinelli to keep pouring her champagne. Carly told Jason that marrying Jax was the right thing to do. Outside, Jax told his brother he could hear the reception music through the phone, but Jerry insisted he wasn't nearby. Jane arrived to drag Jax back inside. Meanwhile, Max went on and on and on to Alexis about what a special person Carly is. Jax cut in on Carly/Jason and thanked him for attending. "Carly's my best friend," Jason replied. Carly was happy that everyone she cares for came through for her. later, Carly broke up a fight among Dillon, Spinelli and Milo — none of whom knew where Lulu went. Jax advised the boys to never give up chasing the woman they love. Then Jax made a speech calling his and Carly's previous marriages "learning experiences" (Hi, Alexis!), and said he was honored that Carly took this "leap of faith" with him. They toasted, then left in a shower of birdseed. Outside, Jane spotted Craig hiding in the bushes. Jane called out, "Jerard Aloysius Jacks!" He tried to cover with an American accent, but no one can resist The Mom Voice. She demanded to know what he did to his face. "Sorry, Mom," he said. Despite having just recognized him, she called Jerry "unrecognizable." He apologized for not making his presence known and extracted a promise not to tell Jax. Alone, Emily and Nik danced and kissed and exchanged "I love you's."

Jason took a drunken Sam home and deposited her on the couch. (Do they not own a bed?) Sam said Liz couldn't stop staring at Jason. Sam's new motto was, "Live in the moment." But then she started babbling about obsessing over weddings and how something always goes wrong. In fact she mentioned "this one time," when she chose a dress that was the wrong color and made the groom flip out. "You were married before?" a stunned Jason asked. Sam denied it, but Jason still fretted.

On the plane, Jax told Carly they're going to Fiji for their honeymoon. Carly admitted she used to dream about living happily ever after, but had abandoned the dream — until she fell for Jax.
