GH Recaps Week of May 21, 2007

Friday, May 25, 2007
Outside of the coffeehouse, Ric attempted to shake down Spinelli for information about Alcazar's disappearance and asked him if he had an alibi for Jason. Before he could answer, Sonny showed up, interrupted their encounter and turned the tables on Ric to remind him that he was just as guilty of wanting Alcazar gone as anyone else. Realizing he was getting nowhere with his questioning, Ric split. Spinelli thanked Sonny for his help with a hug. Later, Sonny told Spinelli he only defused Ric to help Jason. He recruited The Jackal to do some research on Kate. After calling Sonny The Godfather (which he didn't like one bit), Spinelli slipped that he harbored the "Secret of Pain." Sonny's ears immediately perked up.

Carly barked at Alexis, who she thought had shown up to make her claim that Jerry was really a decent guy, that he was an evil criminal who deserved punishment. She surmised that because of Alexis's previous penchant for brothers, she was now going after Jerry since she couldn't have Jax. Alexis couldn't believe Carly was trying to take pot shots at her. Carly deadpanned that Alex was an easy target. Alex claimed she thought Jax might want to talk about the Jerry situation with her since she was completely removed from the whole Metro Court hostage crisis, unlike Carly. Sonny later showed up and Carly ran off to fix a wrong order for linens back at the hotel.

Jax and Nikolas faced off at the Wyndemere. Nik wanted to know what was next for Jerry. He knew that the criminal would strike again and he couldn't believe that Jax, who was "everyone's BFF" was trying to protect him. Jax pulled the brother card, but Nik claimed he'd be just as guilty as his bro if anything else happened, while spouting off a laundry list of Jerry's crimes. Emily, who was also there, asked Jax what he wanted to do (after Nik reminded her that she has espionage charges dangling over hear head). Jax declared that he just wanted to prevent his sib from causing more harm. Later, Nik continued to argue with Emily. He wanted Jerry dead, but Em countered that Nik was being unfair to Jax. When Alexis entered, Nik chided her for supporting her old pal Jax. Alexis plead her case, noting how nice Jerry was to her and even helped her out when she was sick. How could she not think he was a good guy?

Jerry, meanwhile, praised Skye and Jason for being such a great (and unlikely) team in making Alcazar disappear. After Skye left, Jerry laid the cards on the table, explaining that he understood that he and Jason were both in quite a dilemma. They both wanted each other dead, but neither could do it. If he killed Jason, his new identity would be destroyed and conversely if Jason killed HIM, then Emily's life and freedom would be compromised. Jerry reminded Jason that he wasn't James Craig, he was Jax's brother and they were practically family at this point. He suggested that they even do favors for each other (especially with Alcazar) and so since one hand washes the other, they were on even keel.

Jax confronted his brother and demanded to know what had happened to the Jerry he used to know. He listed all the reasons why Jerry should be killed. Then he demanded Jerry give him the evidence he had against Emily. No dice. Jerry tried to reassure his bro that everything would work out in their favors, but he had to simply wait to see the final result.

Elizabeth (with baby Jake in tow) met Sam at the coffeehouse per her request. Sam said she hoped Liz would reconsider coming on EVERYDAY HEROES to share her story. It was a great idea and Jake was proof of that. Sam asked to hold the little fussy guy and said he looked just like his daddy, as Jason walked in. Elizabeth admitted she wasn't ready to reconsider and left. Later, Jason admitted he was a little uneasy watching Sam cradle baby Jake. Jason wondered why Sam was torturing herself by doing such a thing and inquired about her sudden interest in the kid. After she left, Elizabeth returned to fetch one of Jake's blankets and attempted to explain to Jason what he walked in on. He already knew: it was their big lie. Then he told Liz he wanted to tell Sam the truth that he was Jake's father.

At the hotel, Carly had a startling Metro Court flashback that prompted her to sympathetically give extra linens from the order mishap to Hurricane Katrina victims, claiming that she wanted to do something for those who were stricken by tragedy and hardship. Later, Carly came home to find that the foreman at Kate's next door construction site had hassled Michael and ruined his toy copter. Kate showed up and demanded that Carly keep her children away from her property. Carly threatened the fashionista that if she insulted her kids again, there'd be a fist-print on her face. Kate countered that Carly was just as she expected, "All attitude and no class."

Ric questioned one of Alcazar's maids, who confirmed that Alcazar was M.I.A. Ric tried to explain the missing pieces of the puzzle to Skye, claiming that her prediction that he'd run off to Venezuela didn't add up to the what the staff had to say. It looked as if Alcazar just simply disappeared. He couldn't believe that Alcazar would leave without checking in on his daughter first. He told Skye that unless she wants authorities to think that she had something to do with his disappearance, then she better give him some info.

Back at the hotel lobby, Jerry clearly had something up his sleeve as he approached Jax and pretended he had just arrived. While Nik, Emily and Alexis watched in horror, Jerry challenged Jax to see how long it would take for him to alert the police. Everyone was confused about what trick Jerry was pulling. He told Nik it was time he came clean. Then Max arrived, Jerry was handcuffed and "James Craig" was read his rights. Jerry played dumb, as his very confused mother walked in just in time to watch the arrest go down.

How many bed linens did Carly really order?

Jason informed Sonny that, "It's done," then he barked at Spinelli for entering without knocking. Jason ordered Spinelli to focus on helping Emily get out from under Craig's thumb.

Tracy chewed out Alan for haunting her and doing it in a black jogging suit. Alan warned his sister not to let Luke suck her into a life of crime in his efforts to protect Laura. Luke was touched by Tracy's support. Tracy was shocked to hear that Luke believed Alexis could save the day, citing her history as Dobson. Scott entered and advised Luke to drop the case for Laura's guardianship. Just then, Alan produced a thunderclap with lightning, startling Baldwin. Scott warned Luke that family secrets will indeed come out in court and advised him to instruct Nikolas to sign over guardianship to him. Luke punched Scott in the mouth. Scott barked that Luke doesn't stand a chance in court and left.

Skye picked up a photo of Alcazar just as Ric entered her home, looking for her man. Ric was surprised that Skye hadn't seen Alcazar since last night. She told him they have separate bedrooms. She stated that he probably went to Venezuela to oversee the move. Ric noted her seeming lack of concern for his whereabouts. Ric wasn't buying the story so Skye said she'd confess. She told Ric the story of the agent who came to question them. Ric instructed Skye to let him know if she hears from him and left. Skye called Edward over and told her that she and Alcazar were finished. She told Edward she wants him to know her daughter and begged to have her place back in the family. Edward replied that he can't forget that her silence played a part in Alan's death and it's not that he won't forgive her, he can't. Skye was crushed.

After Nikolas learned Craig is Jerry Jacks, he ordered him out of Wyndemere. Emily asked him to leave town for the sake of peace. Jerry called his deeds a "fascinating exercise in human behavior." Later, Alexis arrived as "Mr. Brosnan" was preparing to leave. He continued to charm Alexis, until he dropped the bomb that he is really Jerry Jacks, leaving her speechless.

Carly and Jax discussed the changes in Jerry's behavior and Jax vowed to protect his brother. Jason arrived and informed the couple that Jerry held Sam and Amelia at gunpoint, poisoned Nikolas and blackmailed Emily. Jax vowed he'd fix the situation and left to speak with Nikolas. After he left, Carly pleaded with Jason not to be the one to kill Jerry, as it would devastate Jax and her marriage. Just then, Skye called Jason and asked to meet him.

At the coffeehouse, Logan asked Spinelli to help him gain Sonny and Jason's trust, while Coop told Maxie that he feared for her safety, now that he's caught between Sonny and Craig/Jerry. Maxie vowed to stand by her man. Spinelli turned down the request and Logan told Spinelli that if he doesn't help him, he'll be sorry. Coop told Logan to cool it, just as Ric entered, looking for Sonny. He then questioned Spinelli about Alcazar. "Where was Jason when Alcazar disappeared?" Ric demanded to know.

Edward returned home and told Monica about his visit with Skye. Monica had no sympathy for her. She then touchingly vented to Edward about how much she still misses Alan. She also knows Alan would want her to forgive Skye, but she cried that she was unable to, and felt guilty for not honoring her husband's dying wish.

Jax arrived at Wyndemere, just missing Jerry. "You can't talk to him, Jax," Nik huffed. "You've got to stop him." Nik was appalled that Jax tried to defend Jerry.

Tracy agreed to help Luke and they showed up at Shadybrook, prepared to steal Laura away. They found her room empty, and Scott appeared and informed them that the court had Laura moved forr her own safety, just in case someone was planning to kidnap her.

Jerry showed up at Jason's meeting with Skye and realized Alcazar has disappeared.

At the hospital, Robin and Patrick were all moony over each other, discussing how nice it was to wake up together. Patrick said it could be like that every morning if she moved in. She said they'd discuss the matter over dinner. Just then, Patrick's next patient arrived, a beautiful blonde with an injured ankle, assisted by her two hottie friends. Robin wasn't smiling. The girls were referred by an old college buddy of Patrick's. Though he's not an orthopedist, as Robin pointed out, Patrick volunteered to take care of his injured patient. Robin heard moaning from the examination room and burst in. Patrick informed her that he had the situation in hand. When Robin left, Patrick told the girls that Robin was his girlfriend. In the hall, Robin looked at her cleavage and sighed. Later, Emily noticed that Robin was vexed. When Patrick dismissed his pretty patient, Robin threw a chart at Patrick. He giggled. She confronted him on his flirting. He said it was harmless. She ordered him to the apartment as soon as his shift was over.

Sonny told Jason that once they get the signal from Skye, he wants Alcazar gone without a trace. Jason informed Sonny of Jerry's leverage involving Emily. Just then, Diane entered with an injunction against Sonny's new neighbor, who had a helicopter flying over his house in the middle of the night.

In her hospital room, Elizabeth fed her baby boy and Emily heard her telling the infant about Jason. Liz replied that she was sharing the story of how Jason saved their lives. Epiphany informed the patient of her release from the hospital.

Skye broke down in front of Alcazar. He assured her once they got to South America, they'd start a new life together based on trust. Later, Alcazar had Lila Rae brought to Skye. She was overjoyed to be reunited with her baby girl. Skye said she was putting the baby down for a nap before the long flight. "As difficult as this is, I'm glad to have it over and done," she said, planting a kiss. Upstairs, Skye vowed to Lila Rae that no one would ever keep them apart again. She then made a call on her cell phone. Downstairs, Alcazar instructed his guard that Skye is never to be left on her own.

Kate met with a decorator at her new house and demanded that everything be renovated. She also wanted the wall knocked down between her place and the property next door. Later, the copter flew in work from the magazine, prompting Sonny and Diane to come next door with their injunction. Diane dropped the news, then complimented Kate on her outfit. Sonny got Kate alone; he demanded to know why she chose the house next door to his. She insisted it had nothing to do with him. Sonny suggested they compromise on a schedule for the helicopter. The pair bickered. Sonny offered to buy back the house. Then, Skye's call ended the squabble.

At the coffeehouse, Spinelli hid his laptop from Lulu, prompting her to ask what's going on. Spinelli said an old enemy was back in town. Spinelli and Lulu warmly recalled their trip to Tennessee last year.

Jason went to Emily and demanded to know how Jerry got her involved. She explained about Nikolas's poisoning, but stated she had no qualms about doing what she did to save those she loves. Jason visited Elizabeth, who told him the name Jacob Martin was chosen for Jason's initials. Sonny then called Jason and said, "It's set." Jason told the baby he's got a great mom. Jason left. Lucky arrived with Cameron and introduced the boy to his baby brother. They all left together to go home.

Being held at gunpoint left Amelia rattled. When Amelia quit EVERYDAY HEROES, Sam was instructed by the network brass to get her back or face cancellation. Amelia said the show would go on without her and credited Jason for keeping the baby away from his violent lifestyle. "No child should have to come home to find their father shot to death," she coyly noted. Amelia said she might come back if Sam ended things with Jason (thus, keeping the gunplay around her to a minimum.) Sam promised Amelia that she'd talk to Jason about curbing the violence around them. Amelia finally relented, then confided in her henchman that she's got Sam right where she wants her.

When Diane returned, Kate mentioned they were willing to compromise. However, Sonny confided in Diane he had other plans, as did Kate mention the same to her assistant. Twenty minutes later, Sonny and Kate were dining on a fine lunch organized by her assistant. Sonny pointed out Kate's startling lack of gratitude. Kate then asked Sonny to tear down the wall. He said he'd consider it, but it would cost her.

Jason arrived at Alcazar's, where Skye let him in. She went to retrieve the baby from Lorenzo. Alcazar left the room to call for the car. As Skye sang a lullaby to her daughter, a gunshot rang out.

Robin and Patrick continued to quibble about the idea of moving in together. Robin pointed out that they're great in a crisis but when there's no drama, all they do is fight. He accused her of being fearful and taking the easy way out. "We love each other," he spouted. "Why shouldn't we be together?" Patrick called Robin's litany of excuses bunk, but vowed to wait for her until she's ready. They kissed and made love on the couch. Robin thanked him for making her happy.

Skye was furious that Alcazar wouldn't let her leave the house. He said he trusted her, but that it was too dangerous. He offered to bring Lila Rae back to her now if she'd stay put. Skye sneaked out and showed up at Sonny's, where she begged for help, stating Lorenzo was taking her and the baby out of the country the next day. Sonny gave Skye a beeper and instructed her to signal when she was reunited with Lila Rae. Skye crept back into the house and pretended she was taking a bath. She reflected on her life in Port Charles and gave Alcazar a kiss.

At Carly's, Jax filled his new wife in about his visit with Sonny. A tearful Carly recounted all of Jerry's evil acts during the hostage crisis. "He's still my brother," Jax shouted, asking, "How can I turn my back on him?" Jax called Jerry and asked to talk. Carly mentioned she's glad the boys are safe at Sonny's. Alexis arrived and pointed out to Jax that he could be charged with being an accomplice to his brother's crimes. Alexis advised him to hire her, but Carly spoke up, saying that Alexis was taking on too much and was only doing this to be more important to Jax than his own wife. She accused Alexis of being condescending and repeating her past behavior with Sonny all over again with Jax. She asked Jax to make Alexis leave. He graciously did. Carly and Jax kissed and made up.

At the coffeehouse, Jason argued when Sonny told him not to go after Jerry. Sonny pointed out that Alcazar was their immediate threat and Jerry could wait. "Can you do the job?" he demanded to know. "Alcazar has to die first." Jason agreed, but reiterated that he wants Jerry dead.

At the penthouse, Sam and Amelia were stunned to see Mr. Craig holding a gun on them. Jerry reminded Amelia she wouldn't have a show if it wasn't for him. He then informed the women of his true identity, shocking them even further. As Sam went to pour Jerry a glass of wine at his request, she spotted a hidden gun. Sam pulled the gun on Jerry, but Amelia stopped her, stating, "I can't watch you kill another man." As Amelia explained the shooting in the studio, Spinelli entered and snuck up behind Jerry, but his attempt to rescue the women was foiled. Just then, Jason came home. Jerry happily informed Jason that because of his Swiss bank account scheme, if anything happens to him, Emily will go to prison for high crimes. Jerry left. A bewildered Amelia followed. Amelia went to see Sonny. She pointed out that since she became Sam's producer, she has been held at gunpoint three times. She cleared off his desk and laid down on top of it. Sonny leaned over and kissed her.

At Wyndemere, Emily came to visit Nikolas. They were hoping Craig's absence meant he was gone. Nikolas was determined to get Craig out of his life and stated that the key is to find out who he has been getting calls from on his cell phone. Nik surmised the older woman he spoke with could be Craig's mother. They kissed and decided to make the most of their time alone. Afterward, Nik and Emily were summoned by Alfred that Jerry Jax had arrived. They were shocked to learn the truth about Craig's identity and he recounted that thanks to his plan, Jason will be sure that he stays alive.

Sam had a meltdown on the set when her crime reenactment echoed the real-life scenario she endured years earlier with Bill Monroe. Amelia told the crew to take a break and tried to calm Sam down, but Sam smelled a set-up, even though Amelia denied it. After a short break, Sam apologized to Amelia and asked if they could do another topic, but Amelia said the network was insistent that they cover domestic abuse. Sam said she'd do it, but asked if they could replace the actor since he resembled her abuser. Amelia happily agreed.

Carly jumped in front of Jason's gun to prevent him from shooting Jerry and blurted that he can't kill Jax's brother. She told Jerry to sneak out the back and begged her best friend not to kill her husband's brother. Jason refused. After Carly pleaded, Jason agreed to let Jerry out of her home alive but promised nothing after that.

Alcazar gave Skye an ultimatum: come with him to South America or she'd never see Lila Rae again. Skye was furious. She told Lorenzo she didn't want to leave her life in Port Charles behind, but Alcazar gave her no other options. Their argument was cut short when a government agent came to interrogate Alcazar. The pair pretended that Lorenzo was still suffering his brain injury. After the agent left, Alcazar praised Skye's performance and assumed she'd changed her mind about South America. She said she did, but needed to do a few things first. Alcazar refused to let her leave the house.

Patrick and Robin kissed at the nurses' station and got a strong rebuke from Noah. When Noah criticized Patrick's behavior during his "break up" with Robin, Emily jumped to Patrick's defense and the three explained the whole "Nikolas illness/faked break up" but left out the Mr. Craig portion of the story. After work, Patrick carried Robin over the threshold of his apartment. Robin noted Noah was right — that they had to keep their personal lives out of their professional lives. They kissed. Robin jumped into his arms and he carried her into the bedroom. Back at the hospital, Noah and Emily wondered why Robin was still hesitant about moving in with Patrick. Post-coitus, as Robin fed Patrick Chinese food, he admitted that he missed not having her in his apartment. Robin totally dodged the whole living together talk. Patrick noted the irony that over the last few months, they've flip-flopped on the idea of cohabitating.

At the Q mansion, Alexis gave Luke his options about going to court regarding Laura's guardianship. She suggested that Luke tell Lulu about the rape rather than have it come out in court. Luke didn't know what he should do. Tracy said she has an idea. She mentioned an earlier conversation she had with Scott and that he wanted to control Laura's life, even though she was no longer responsive. Tracy mentioned that she'd help him with whatever decision he wanted to make. She then pointed out that Lucky found out about they rape and they survived. Luke said yes, but it took years. He remained perplexed.

At the coffeehouse, Jax told Sonny that Mr. Craig was Jerry. Sonny was angry that Carly kept this news a secret. Sonny told Jax that brother or no brother, Jerry deserved to die for what he did. Jax tried defending Jerry but Sonny cited all of Jerry heinous acts from the hostage crisis. "You're the one who should kill your brother," he remarked. Jax pointed out that they're all connected and "If you go after my brother, it's like ripples in a pond." Just then, Alexis came in to drop off papers to Sonny, who then broke the news to her about Jerry's true identity. A shocked Alexis advised Jax to let Jerry disappear.

At GH, Georgie agreed to fill in for Maxie at work so she could spend time with Coop. The girls bickered. Maxie apologized for being short with her sister and explained that she just wants to help Coop. She thanked her little sis for always being in her corner. Georgie forgave Maxie.

Carly told Jax that she had Jason spare Jerry but if he hurts anyone else she loves, she'll blame Jax.... Jason went back to the coffeehouse and compared noted. Jason vowed to hunt Jerry down and kill him. Sonny said he didn't want Jerry dead just yet.... Sam and Amelia went to the penthouse, where Jerry was waiting.
