GH Recaps Week of June 11, 2007

Friday, June 15, 2007
As Georgie sniped with Maxie and Coop at Kelly's, Lulu came in asking to rent a room. Logan approached Lulu, who wanted to know what Scott did to his family. He said Scott came through town pretending to be a fancy businessman and swindled his family. He suggested there are better ways than the courts to get revenge. SUNSET BEACH Ric (temporary recast Nick Kiriazis) came in to order coffee just as Logan paid his tab with a wad of cash that made Ric suspicious. Later, Lulu ran into Spinelli, who said he uncovered Ric's evidence against Stone Cold: a recording of "Darth Alcazar" saying Jason's name, followed by gunshots. Later, Spinelli and Lulu found Liz and kids in the park. He held the baby as Sam suddenly appeared. After she left (but hid to eavesdrop), Spinelli told Liz that Stone Cold would make an awesome dad. Lulu dragged him away to scold him for talking too much. She pointed out that a stone-cold killer is not the ideal father figure. Spinelli wondered if he should tell the truth — just as Lucky mysteriously materialized between them. Lulu said the "secret" was that Spinelli thinks he's her boyfriend.

Jax wanted to barbecue for Father's Day, so Carly suggested he share grilling duties with Sonny. In jail, Jason told Sonny that Jake is better off with Elizabeth and Lucky, but Sonny pointed out he'd be living a lie. Meanwhile, Sam told Amelia she has to "do something" about her obsession with Jason's son. Meanwhile, Liz gushed and cried about her family being "blessed" to cover for visiting Jason, who saved Jake's life. Carly burst into Sonny's house — only to get indignant when Kate strolled in the back door without knocking. Kate called Carly on her obvious jealousy, and they traded barbs. Sonny suggested Sam may not be the woman Jason thinks she is. Diane warned Mayor Floyd not to politicize the Morgan case, but she was too late: Floyd made sure Jason wouldn't be released on bail. Carly told Kate that Sonny is from Bensonhurst, and Kate mentioned she'd heard of it. Sonny walked in and Carly suggested buying Kate's house and installing a pool. Sonny defended Kate. Carly invited Sonny to the barbecue. Sonny was reluctant, but agreed for the boys. Jax was also underwhelmed. Kate returned to tell Sonny that someone ruined the catered food she was having delivered for a special guest, so he invited her to eat at his place. Amelia visited Jason to ask if he's going to reveal her secret to Sam. He said he'll keep quiet. She warned him that Sam doesn't really love him.

Nikolas was determined to rescue Emily from Jerry's clutches, but she preferred that he stay safe. Alexis arrived and said she put Jax on Jerry's trail, and said that Nikolas should stay out of it.

Back in the park, Sam spied on Liz and Jake. When Liz turned to tie Cameron's shoelaces, Jake disappeared. Liz started madly calling his name....

What did Spinelli call his research?

Jax told Carly he had been called to identify Jerry's body, but it wasn't him. Later, Lady Jane asked Jax to let Jerry go, but he couldn't. Meanwhile, Nikolas and Emily were making out when Alexis interrupted. Nik asked her if she can keep Em out of jail. Nikolas was willing to kill Jerry. Jax insisted Jerry can be saved. Alexis thought "he's too far gone," and doesn't want Jax dragged down with him. She told Jax to concentrate on Carly, Michael and Morgan.

Sonny accused Kate of being scared of being linked to him because people would find out she's really Connie Falconeri. She said she's gone through too much to create Kate Howard. Sonny said Connie let herself enjoy human moments. "Who's Connie Falconeri?" asked Carly. Sonny covered, then Kate made a point to thank him for the coffee this morning. Carly fumed about them playing "mattress tag." Kate took offense, then took her leave. Carly scolded Sonny for getting "involved" with Kate, then asked him to alert her first if he finds Jerry. He promised not to go out of his way to hunt down Jerry. Later, Carly and Jax compared notes and smooched.

Jason was brought to see SUNSET BEACH Ric (temporary recast Nick Kiriazis). He asked Jason why he left evidence behind after killing Alcazar. Meanwhile, at GH, Kelly told Sam her eggs are "barely viable" and suggested adoption. A devastated Sam went to Amelia with her bad news. At police HQ, a dolled-up Elizabeth burst into the interrogation room, claiming the desk sergeant told her it was okay to interrupt the DA. She fretted about Jason's chances. He asked about Jake, and Liz wished he could be part of Jake's life. Mayor Floyd warned Ric to make sure Jason is convicted, and not to protect Sonny. Ric said he's planting an informant in Sonny's organization, then told Lucky that Liz visited Jason. Liz went to GH and showed off pictures of Jake and help new hire Joline. When Emily stopped by, Liz confided her fears that something bad happened to Jason recently. Meanwhile, Jason flashed back to Amelia revealing Sam knows about Jake. Sam told Amelia Jason may be relieved, but she's angry that her baby died and that she's incapable of carrying a child, and she resents Elizabeth. At the station, Lucky accused Jason of taking advantage of Liz. Diane arrived and threw the arresting officer out, then scolded Jason. He told her Liz visited, but balked at revealing the personal issues they discussed. Diane suggested Liz might be an alibi — or an enemy if she is compelled to testify. Jason said he believes in Liz. Later, Sam learned that her guest on EVERYDAY HEROES also resents women who can have babies. At GH, Lucky asked Liz why she visited Jason. She said she wanted to be there for someone who has helped them all. She asked Lucky to go to the park with her and the kids, but he refused. Sonny burst in on Jason and Diane. He said he confirmed the info in Amelia's file on Sam, and worried that Sam knows things that could hurt them. Jason pointed out that she secretly knows he's the father of Liz's baby. Jason said things got too complicated too fast, and he agreed to give up the kid when Liz asked. Sonny told him not to give up: "It's over when you claim your son."

Emily overheard Nik order wiretaps on Jax's and Jane's phones, and begged him not to hunt down Jerry, but Nik vowed to save her. Meanwhile, Sam said she wished Jake did not exist — or that he could disappear.

Carly was dressed to kill for a night out with Jax, but she had a bad feeling. Sure enough, Morgan threw up, so they had to stay home and play board games. They also kept fielding mysterious phone calls with no one on the line. No one suggested *69....

Tracy insisted Scott had no grounds to arrest her since she was merely helping Luke say goodbye to Laura, but he had a warrant and hauled her off. Lulu was confused when the Quartermaines were more interested in dessert. Lulu went to the police station (instead of court) to bail out Tracy, who returned home and traded barbs with Edward and Monica. Tracy asked Edward to pull strings to help her, but he balked. Monica wondered if it was "remotely possibly" that Alan's ghost really is there. After Tracy left, Edward called Judge Rodgers.

Patrick asked Robin if she really wants a baby. Her answer was so over-the-top negative that he realized she does. Robin suggested he was overreacting, and tried to convince them her life is too full — but, then again, there are nannies, and she is in her prime child-bearing years. Later, Robin couldn't eat — but not because she's pregnant. Patrick suggested they stop arguing and go to sleep.

Amelia explained to Jason how Sam has been scheming to put him together with his son because she resents him. Amelia revealed how Sam overheard Jason and Elizabeth talking — but kept quiet because she wanted Jason to confess. Sam believes Liz and Lucky's marriage will break up, so Jason and Sam could raise Jake. Then she revealed Sam wants to hire a surrogate to carry her egg and his sperm. At that moment, Sam was telling Alexis about her surrogate plan and how she would give up the show to have a family with Jason. Jason balked at artificial pregnancy, but Amelia said it won't matter — Sam can just gather his DNA and take it to a doctor. Amelia confessed she was telling him all this to "do right" by her father, and hoped he would "do right" by his son.

Lucky found Liz crying and assured her his life is perfect with Cam and "their" child. Suddenly Sam arrived and demanded that Lucky explain the case against Jason. Lucky said there's enough evidence to convict Jason of killing Alcazar. In jail, Jason flashed back to Sam's suspicious behavior. Amelia returned to the studio to find Alexis, who demanded Amelia clarify her motives for making Sam, of all people, famous. Amelia covered. Sam visited Jason in lock-up and told him the case is bad. Jason said there's nothing to be done, but Sam was hopeful. She asked him to promise to do "whatever it takes to be a family." He said he can't even think about being a father. Sam suggested that having a baby saved Liz and Lucky's marriage, and vowed not to give up until they have a family together. Meanwhile, Liz told Lucky she couldn't picture Jason agreeing to surrogate. Amelia lurked outside.

A jealous Maxie interrupted Coop's flirtatious banter with a waitress at Kelly's. Logan arrived and Coop left. Logan called her insecure about Lulu, and was confident Maxie would leave Coop for him. Lulu arrived, followed by Scott — who threatened her with jail. So Logan punched him out. After threatening Lulu, Scott fled. Logan told Lulu the Spencers were not the only family Scott has messed with.

Kate tried to convince Sonny she was just hungry, but he insisted she stay there so he can monitor her head injury. She didn't want to sleep in her clothes, so she put on one of his shirts. Then Milo and Bernie walked in and got the wrong idea, much to her horror. Sonny offered to cook pasta and complimented her figure. She resisted his flirting, but then Milo brought in Max, who also got the wrong idea. A flustered Kate explained they are not having a relationship (but didn't put on a robe or anything). Max warned Sonny that rebound relationships don't work. Sonny served chicken with a sauce that she liked. As he felt her swelling head injury, Milo brought in Diane, who also jumped to the wrong conclusion. Sonny called Kate gorgeous. She got uncomfortable and decided to go upstairs before anyone else jumps to the wrong conclusion.

As Sam prepped a guest for EVERYDAY HEROES, Sam recounted losing her daughter to a ruptured placenta. Meanwhile, in jail, Jason met with Amelia, who gave him a file on Sam that detailed how she's been using him. Amelia told him about Sam marrying her father and then killing him, but Jason said that had nothing to do with him. Amelia was furious that Sam never paid for her crimes, so she is punishing Sam by building her up and tearing her down. But Amelia doesn't want to ruin the show, so she's destroying Sam's personal life. Diane appeared and insisted he stop talking to "the media." Jason vowed not to let Amelia hurt Sam. Alexis visited Sam on the set and invited her on a mother/daughter outing. Sam confessed she has babies on the brain: She resents other women who have kids — especially Elizabeth. Sam said Jason is resistant to "fertility procedures" because his life is too dangerous, but she said she would move mountains to keep "his son" safe.

Robin told Stan she doesn't plan to turn Patrick into a daddy — she just loves holding and smelling babies. Patrick said he admired fathers, but doesn't need a child to feel fulfilled. Kelly said Robin can be a mother without Patrick. Stan said single mothers have it hard. Coleman said he had five daddies. Stan said the presence of a father would have made a difference in his life, and Lainey took offense. Stan pointed out he doesn't always do what his momma wants — like date Lainey. She revealed Epiphany has been pressuring her to date him. Robin branded men all men "contrarian." (We are not!) Lainey sent Patrick and Robin home to continue their conversation in private. There, they made out until Jason said he needed a condom. She snarked, "Because god forbid I might get pregnant?" (Well, that and you're HIV-positive, remember?)

At the Quartermaine mansion, Edward and Tracy bickered over ELQ. With Luke gone, Tracy insisted that Lulu move in. Scott burst in, demanding to know where Luke took Laura. Edward had Alice throw Scott out, then he scolded Tracy. Lulu defended her. Monica and Edward wondered about Tracy's odd behavior. Alan warned Tracy that her father is up to something. Monica demanded that Lulu get a job or go to summer school. Scott returned with a cop to arrest Tracy for kidnapping Laura.

Amelia told Jason that Sam got pregnant to keep Sonny from going back to Carly, then used her daughter to manipulate Jason. Then she revealed that Sam secretly knows Jason is Jake's father.

Kate called Sonny's replacement statue a "tacky piece of trash." Sonny said things can look different to different people: Is she Kate from Connecticut or Connie from Bensonhurst? He is donating the statue to Port Charles in her name. A mortified Kate asked if he is still mad because Connie didn't run away with him. She blasted Sonny for destroying the centaur statue, which was a direct connection to her grandfather. She stormed outside and ran face-first into the new statue, knocking herself out cold. When she woke up she asked for her mother. Fearing she had brain damage, Sonny offered to take her to the hospital, but she balked. She insisted she's not ashamed of being Connie Falconeri from Bensonhurst. When she tried to leave she collapsed into his arms.

Dr. Ford called Patrick and Robin's smooching "unacceptable," but they were not concerned about creating a hostile work environment. Dr. Ford said the late Alan was too lenient, but when he becomes chief of staff there will be more discipline. At the nurses' station, Stan passed on a chance to help Lainey recover some "lost" files, which angered his mother. Epiphany teed off on him, but Patrick saved him. Then Epiphany pointed out how Patrick and Robin make people uncomfortable with all their fighting and loving (See? Hostile work environment!) When an accident victim was brought up from ER, Robin delighted in holding the woman's baby, which stunned Patrick. She assured him it was just a "tiny maternal moment," then started babbling on and on and on about babies. Later, Lainey and Kelly told Robin they saw the terror in Patrick's eyes. Later, Stan found Patrick drinking at Jake's, and they bonded over their mutual desire to avoid being trapped by fatherhood. Stan likened women to a computer virus that exists only to "attract, control and destroy." Patrick confessed, "I don't ever want to be a dad" — just as Robin and pals walked in. He said some men are not cut out to be fathers. Lainey ordered tequila. Robin toasted "freedom" and not living up to others' expectations. Kelly told Patrick that not all women women want kids — in fact, she doesn't. Stan said most women are like Robin: waiting to turn their men into daddies.

Lulu asked to help Luke snatch Laura from Rose Lawn, but he and Tracy balked, promising to bring Laura by the house to visit on their way out of town. Meanwhile, at Kelly's, after Spinelli showed Mike how to operate a blender, Lucky demanded to know why the nerd is so interested in his son. Lucky said Spinelli's connection to Jason endangers the baby, so he better steer clear. But Spinelli kept babbling, promising he would protect the kid, making Lucky suspicious. Lulu arrived and defended Spinelli, then told Lucky to go home. She warned Spinelli to cool it around the kid. When Lucky and Liz got home, Nikolas and Emily were already there. Lucky told them Luke found Laura and he's going to run off with her. Nik was aghast. But it was too late. At Rose Lawn, Tracy occupied Dr. Connor while Luke snooped around, disguised as "Dr. von Schemerman." Then they sneaked into Laura's room. When Scott arrived, he found Tracy disguised as Laura. Back at the Spencer home, Luke burst in and said Laura's in the car. Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Alan needled Tracy about Luke being gone forever. Nik told Luke he's worried about the plan. Luke promised to bring Laura back when it's safe. Luke said goodbye to Lulu, advising her to, "Be safe, be smart."
