Dillon refused to accept Lulu's rejection and offered to give her more time to get over what happened between them. He said he believed she wanted more than a friendship, too. Logan entered as Lulu wiped away tears and lied that she was seeing Logan. Dillon was furious, while Logan played along and put his arm around Lulu. Dillon saw through the lie and accused her of trying to push him away for his own sake. Lulu cried and said she was sorry. Dillon stormed off and thanked her for making his decision easier.

Amelia showed up at Elizabeth's and apologized for inadvertently bringing Maureen into her life. Elizabeth said she didn't hold a grudge against Maureen for taking Jake. At Sonny's, Kate interrupted a heated argument between Sonny and Carly. After Carly left, Sonny explained that what Kate just witnessed was pretty typical. Kate pointed out that it was also pretty passionate. Sonny said Kate used to be pretty passionate, too. Kate informed Sonny that she was staying put in Port Charles, and he naturally assumed her decision had to do with him. They were interrupted by Amelia, who sat on Sonny's lap as soon as Kate was out of sight. Sonny wanted to know how Amelia and Jason found Jake. She explained that he heard a baby cry when she was on the phone with Maureen, so she and Jason headed over there to find the baby even though she knew Jason was violating bail. One thing she didn't tell the police, however, was that Maureen admitted to seeing Sam watching her when she took the baby.

At the Metro Court bar, Jerry told Sam that her career was over. Jerry refused to leave "Sweet Sam" alone, pointing out that she's clearly carrying some guilt. Sam headed to Elizabeth's and claimed they need to talk about Jason and the baby. She berated Elizabeth for letting Jason sit in jail while she and her baby have a happy family reunion. Sonny called and summoned Sam to his house. When she arrived, he told her he knew that Jake was Jason's kid and she confirmed it. He then went on to explain that he was trying to understand the connection between Maureen being a guest on Sam's show and Jake's subsequent disappearance. Sam explained that Maureen was working on impulse when she kidnapped Jake and that she could relate to Maureen's situation, but that she never figured her for a kidnapper. "I was shocked when Jake turned up missing," she claimed. Sonny accused Sam of lying and said he knows she watched Maureen kidnap Jake. Meanwhile, Carly gave Elizabeth a hard time for Jason being locked up.

Noah took a good look at his double. "Either that was one hell of a party or I’m dead," marveled Eli as he stared up at Noah. The elder Drake wanted to treat Eli, but Patrick didn’t think it was a good idea. An orderly backed him up, saying it'd be like operating on himself. Robin mentioned that Patrick would also be making a mistake by operating on his father's look-alike. Despite Robin's warnings, Patrick tended to Eli and explained that he needed to remove a clot from Eli's brain. Love said he couldn't have surgery; he had a concert to play.

Ric called Coop to his office and wanted to know why Logan had taken such an interest in Scott Baldwin. When Coop failed to give an appropriate answer, Ric sent Coop in search of Logan. As Lulu explained to Logan why she lied to Dillon, Coop interrupted and informed Logan that his presence was needed elsewhere. Meanwhile, Carly paid a visit to Ric and threatened to expose the "panic room" if he didn't let her see Jason at Pentonville. Ric accused her of bluffing. She left, and Ric's next visitor was Logan. Ric wanted to use him as an informant to bring down Sonny, but Logan pointed out that Ric's got nothing on him and he can't be bought. Ric made a call requesting some background research on Logan. Moments later, he had succeeded in getting all records related to Carly's kidnapping "warehoused" and received info on Logan Hayes and his dishonorable discharge from the army. Back at Kelly's, Logan assured Maxie that Ric has nothing on him.

At the Quartermaine Mansion, Ned suggested the family prepare themselves to say good-bye to Dillon. Edward noted that he hadn’t even made his final decision, just as Dillon walked in and announced that he had. Edward blamed Ned for finding this "ridiculous job" for Dillon, which Edward said would be a waste of his time. A raucous Quartermaine family argument quickly ensued, which Lulu interrupted by shouting, "Enough!" She apologized for hurting Dillon at Kelly's and admitted that there would be a big gap in his life when he's gone. He proceeded to hug her and everyone else in the room good-bye. Edward stood up to tell him he was a "damn fool, but our damn fool." Suddenly, a wigged-out Tracy burst in to tell Dillon not to make the biggest mistake of his life.

In the hospital locker room, Patrick complimented Robin on their previous night together but Ms. Sneed walked in on their kiss, reprimanded them and told them she was reporting the incident to Dr. Ford. "Rules are rules," she stressed. Noah appeared and flirted with Ms. Sneed to ensure her silence. Robin was amused but Patrick was not. Later, Robin and Leo compared notes on the Eli Love concert in front of Epiphany and Patrick. Noah walked up, asking for a patient's file. Patrick had the file and told his father, "Don’t even think about stealing my patient." Epiphany told the student nurses that the father/son blow-up was nothing unusual. The student nurses thought that Patrick was out of line. Patrick realized it, too, but confided in Robin that he thought it would be best if one of them left G.H. She accused him of overreacting. Just then, a patient was brought up with a brain embolism. Patrick freaked when he saw Noah on the gurney but it wasn’t his father — it was Eli Love.

Sonny surprised Kate at the Metro Court restaurant. Kate said she still planned to sell her home. Sonny accused Kate of being afraid to live. Nonsense, she replied. "Prove it," he egged on by tempting her with fattening food. She refused, excused herself and left.

At the penthouse, Sam pleaded with Alexis to get her into Pentonville to see Jason. Alexis told her daughter the chances of getting a visit were between slim and none.

At Kelly's, Georgie and Ned tried to encourage Dillon to disregard Tracy’s wishes and pursue his dream job working for a famous film director. "My family’s falling apart," Dillon sighed. "Our mother will survive without us," Ned assured his baby bro. "Learn from my mistakes. Grab this chance." Ned told Dillon this would be a chance for them to bond in L.A. without the Quartermaines interference. "Lulu’s here," Dillon mentioned. Meanwhile, Georgie sneaked out to run a mystery errand.

Jerry arrived at Carly's, much to her chagrin. Michael wanted Jerry to take him out on the boat again but Carly pointed out he had day camp and sent him on his way. Jerry refused to give Carly any details of Jax's whereabouts. Then, Alexis arrived with paperwork requiring Carly’s signature. "What papers?" Carly asked. Alexis said she received an e-mail from Jax requesting a wire transfer. Carly realized that this was Jerry’s attempt to steal money from his own brother. She then kicked him out of her house.

At Shadybrook, Tracy faked taking her pills as Alan chastised her for being selfish where Dillon was concerned. Just then, Lulu came to visit. Tracy asked Lulu to let Dillon know how important their friendship is, just as Georgie arrived and spilled to Lulu about Dillon’s opportunity. "Busted!" shouted Alan's ghost. Tracy told Lulu that Dillon would stay if she asked him to. The girls rushed to Kelly's to see Dillon. There, he thanked Georgie for still caring about him and Lulu told Dillon not to stay for her — she only cares for him as a friend, nothing more.

Amelia showed up at the penthouse and demanded to know why Sam skipped work. Sam said she'd never work for Amelia again. Then, Amelia reminded her that she signed a contract and threatened to expose Sam’s part in the kidnapping to Lucky and Liz. "I expect you at work tomorrow on time," Amelia taunted. "This show’s the only thing you have left." Sam went drinking at the Metro Court bar, where she ran into Jerry.

Alexis arrived at Sonny's and caught him reading Couture magazine. She brought pictures of Kristina’s piano recital to show him but it slipped out that Carly and the boys spent the Fourth of July with Jerry. Sonny was flabbergasted. Carly arrived at Sonny’s request and he asked about Jerry. "Why would you take our children anywhere near that psycho?" he demanded to know. She said she was just trying to find out where Jax is. Then, Kate walked in on Sonny comforting a distraught Carly.

Carly had a nightmare that she was still trapped in the boiler room with Jerry. Later, Carly gave in for the sake of her children and agreed to allow Jerry to take her and the boys boating on the Fourth of July. Afterward, Carly begrudgingly acknowledged that Michael and Morgan had a good time with their uncle, but made it clear she still despises Jerry. That night, Jerry joined Carly and Michael in watching the fireworks display from the Metro Court terrace.

At the hospital, Robin reined in her jealousy when some of the new student nurses (Jolene, Regina and Leyla) caught Patrick's eye. Patrick welcomed them to GH and Epiphany scolded the girls to keep their eyes on her, not Dr. Drake. Epiphany then assigned the student nurses to the night shift. "You’re out of the frying pan and into the fire," Epiphany commented. Later, the girls caught Patrick coming out of the shower, and Robin caught the girls ogling her wet, nearly naked man. Robin told Patrick that she wasn’t jealous in the least.

Dillon showed up at Kelly's but Georgie told him that Lulu wasn't there. Then, his big brother Ned showed up and offered Dillon the opportunity of a lifetime. "I’m here to change your life," said Ned. Ned told Dillon that he had a job for him as the assistant to a Hollywood film director. Dillon was beside himself with joy but conflicted about leaving his mother behind.

At Shadybrook, Tracy told Lainey she never saw Alan’s ghost. As Lainey listened, Alan's ghost berated his sister's lies. Tracy finally exploded at Alan. "We have a lot of work to do," noted Lainey. Edward arrived during a Tracy/Alan rant and asked Lainey to sign an affidavit stating that Tracy was unfit to run ELQ. Lainey held off for the moment. Dillon then entered to break the news about the dream job and Tracy laid a guilt trip on him, asking him to delay his dream and keep him in Port Charles. Alan accused Tracy of being selfish. "You should be ashamed of yourself, but you’re not," chastised Alan. "Which means you'll never get rid of me, which means you’ll never get out of here."

At Kelly's, Coop realized that Maxie was preoccupied about something but didn’t press it. Then, Logan arrived and took great delight in getting under Maxie's skin. Coop kicked him out until Logan could show some respect. Georgie warned Logan to stay away from Maxie, then advised her sister to stop her self destructive behavior and avoid Logan. Maxie returned to her room to find Logan waiting for her. He noted that Coop tends to fall for the women he saves and it’s only a matter of time before he falls for Lulu, since everyone else does. Logan pulled Maxie into a kiss. Maxie almost gave in to Logan's advances but stopped herself, pushed him away and kicked him out of her room. That night, as she and Coop watched the fireworks, Maxie thought of her kiss with Logan.

Epiphany tried to push Stan and Lainey together. Stan resisted his mother's meddling but eventually agreed to go on a date with Lainey. To his surprise, he caught himself fantasizing about the good doctor.

That night, Robin gave Patrick a sexy surprise on the hospital rooftop during the fireworks show.

Sonny was concerned about Carly's sudden disappearance and feared that Jerry was a part of the equation. After learning that Carly and Jason had been locked in the Metro Court boiler room earlier that day, Sonny made a call to the hotel.

Still locked in the Metro Court boiler room, Carly told Jerry that his sympathy ploy failed. She still has nothing but contempt for him and berated him for using his relationship with Jax. Jerry countered that maybe he was doing what he was doing in order for Jax to push his ne'er-do-well sib away for good. Just then, staffers entered on Sonny's tip and rescued the captives. Carly ordered Jerry out of her hotel and called Sonny to thank him for his getting involved. She lied that Jerry wasn't involved but Sonny didn't believe her.

At the penthouse, Amelia broke the news to Sam that Jason found Jake. She recounted her hunch about Maureen and Jason's involvement in going to Maureen's to retrieve the child. Then, Amelia dropped the bomb that she knows Sam witnessed the kidnapping and did nothing. Sam denied it but Amelia said she knew it was true — and Jason knew, too. Sam demanded to know how Jason reacted. Amelia relayed that he said nothing.

“You found my son?” an elated Lucky asked Jason upon entering the Spencer house. Jason explained how he and Amelia found Maureen and got help for her, but Lucky and Liz thought more action needed to be taken. Lucky called the station, instructed them to contact Amelia regarding Maureen and said Jason was to be arrested for jumping bail.

At PCPD, Coop was making plans on the phone with Maxie when a drunken Logan was brought into the station. Coop went to bat with Mac and asked him to release Logan into his custody.

At the hospital, Robin suggested that she and Patrick attend the Eli Love concert. He said no way, although neither of them could get over the resemblance between Noah and the rock star. Noah, however, did not see it and was not amused by the comparison. Later, Robin copped tickets to the concert, thanks to Stan's connections, and Epiphany told an outraged Noah that he could do a heck of a lot worse than resembling a working musician. Before ending her shift, Epiphany regaled the gang about a life-changing moment for her as a young girl when she was entranced by a man of music.

Diane informed Jason that Special Prosecutor Baldwin considered him a flight risk and wanted him imprisoned in Pentonville tonight. Diane chastised Jason for telling a cop that he jumped bail but Jason was more concerned that Maureen got the help she needed.

Coop brought drunk Logan to Kelly's, where he blurted out that everyone knows Maxie wants herself some Hayes — everyone but Coop, that is. Mike brought Logan some orange juice and a grilled cheese sandwich but Logan was still belligerent. Coop threatened him to stay put. Then, Logan informed his friends that Scott was his father. “Now you know why I drink,” he remarked. Once the shock settled in, Coop went back to work. Logan pulled Maxie into a kiss. She resisted, but not strongly.

A furious Elizabeth accused Lucky of arresting their son's savior out of spite. Lucky refused to admit that and stormed out. Sam went to the Spencer house to see Liz. She congratulated her on Jake's return and asked about Jason's whereabouts. Liz informed Sam that Lucky had Jason arrested.

At PCPD, Scott prevented Sonny from visiting Jason but, of course, Sonny talked his way in. There, he informed Jason that there was no way to stop the transfer to Pentonville. Jason said that as long as Jake was safe, that was all that mattered. Jason asked Sonny to keep the secret of Jason's paternity while Jason was away. Sonny agreed to honor Jason's wishes.

Diane went to Metro Court and informed Carly of Jason's plight. Meanwhile, Kate bumped into Jerry. When she was cold to him, he grabbed her arm and said, “Let me guess. Somebody told you I was a psychopath.” She denied it. Just as Jerry thanked Kate for interrupting Sonny's threats earlier, Sonny entered and ordered Jacks to stay away from Kate.

At PCPD, Mac allowed Carly to visit Jason against Scott's wishes. Carly was prepared to do anything to prevent Jason from going to prison but he asked her not to. They had a heartfelt exchange. He asked Carly to look after Spinelli for him. She agreed. They hugged, said "I love you" and Jason was taken away. Seconds later, Sam entered and Carly informed her that she was too late — Jason was gone.

Alone with Jake, Liz vowed to give her baby the family that Jason sacrificed everything for.

Lucky and Elizabeth continued to squabble. Liz told Lucky that it was time to bring Cameron home, since they had no idea when Jake would be back. Liz told Cam that his little brother would be home soon.

At the penthouse, Sam recalled having seen Maureen take baby Jake out of his stroller while Liz’s back was turned on that fateful day in the park. Alexis came over at Sam’s request. Sam asked her mother about what would happen if a person witnessed a crime and didn’t report it. Sam tried to pussyfoot around the issue, but Alexis asked, "What crime did you see Jason commit?" Sam swore that she knew nothing about Jason killing Alcazar. Alexis pressed Sam for some answers. Sam spit that Jason was slipping through her fingers and she was at her wits' end.

Trapped in the Metro Court boiler room, Jerry assured Carly that she didn’t need to fear him. Jerry told Carly that the hostage crisis in the hotel could have been much worse. Carly picked up a wrench and swung it at Jerry, but he overpowered her. Jerry mentioned that he was captured and tortured in the past and that her one night of hell in the hotel doesn’t even compare to what he’s been through. "I made some unpopular choices that night," he conceded. "But it could have been far worse." Carly remained unsympathetic.

Amelia and Jason raced over to Maureen’s house. Amelia pointed out that they crossed the county line, which means Jason is guilty of jumping bail. Jason said he just wanted to rescue his son. The duo showed up at Maureen’s door. "Where’s Jake?" demanded Jason. Maureen cracked and burst into tears about losing her own baby. Jason was greatly relieved to see that Jake was happy and healthy. Maureen guessed that Jason was Jake’s father. Maureen apologized and Amelia promised they’d get her help. Then, Maureen informed a shocked Jason that Sam saw her take Jake out of the stroller. As Amelia drove Jason and Jake home, she asked Jason if he could forgive Sam for what she did.

Kate raked Sonny over the coals for his choice of profession. "There is no polite euphemism for killing people," she pointed out, having see Sonny’s dark side earlier with Jerry. Kate pondered selling her house to get away from Sonny's lifestyle. Sonny vowed he’d never hurt Kate. She asked Sonny if he turned out the way he did because she stood him up all those years ago. Sonny said, "There’s no point in looking back, because it’s not going to change anything." He tried to assure her that there was nothing innocent about Jerry, which is why he threatened Jacks earlier. Sonny explained to her about the Metro Court hostage crisis. Just as he and Kate were getting flirty, a bodyguard entered with news that Jerry was at Carly’s house earlier that day and now Carly was missing.

Patrick and Noah went head-to-head when Dr. Julian asked for a consultation with "Dr. Drake," but didn’t specify which one. Meanwhile, Noah was put off by the stares he was receiving in the hospital. Dr. Julian asked Robin if Noah had any brothers — he doesn’t. Noah demanded to know why people were staring at him and accused Patrick of spreading some kind of rumor about his father. Apparently, noah resembles a rock star named Eli Love.

Amelia showed up at the penthouse and told Sam that Jake was found. Meanwhile, Jason brought Jake to the Spencer home and handed him over to an overjoyed Liz. As Liz uttered the words, "I knew you’d find him," Lucky entered.
