At juvie, Gus told Harley that Daisy was fine, but that the doc suggested an MRI. Harley beamed that she and Daisy had made amends, thanks to their little heart-to-heart. Daisy came out on crutches while Harley signed her out so she could get the MRI. Before she left, Daisy turned to take one last longing look at Rafe.

At Company, Natalia glanced at her wallet photo of Rafe when Remy bounced in, asking if Gus found her in Chicago. Remy snooped around, eager to know about Natalia's money problems. She said she was fine, joking that she'd just won the lottery. They flirted a little and Remy pulled her in for a kiss. Nat was taken aback and told Remy he shouldn't try anything like that again. Josh arrived, asking for Cassie; she wasn't there. Remy predicted that she might be stalking Alan. Josh made a call to find Alan's whereabouts.

Back on Main Street, Reva picked up on her speech from yesterday, pleading with Cassie to understand that having sex with Josh didn't really mean anything and she didn't intend to hurt her sis as Josh probably had already informed her. Turns out, Josh hadn't yet told Cassie, who was on the verge of exploding. Cassie began screaming, accusing Reva of planning the whole thing. Because they were facing off in front of all of the Main Street revelers, Reva urged Cassie to remain calm. Cassie claimed that Reva loves an audience then railed at her for being a slut turned saint who slept with the man her own sister loves and behind her back (Oh, snap!). Reva said she fought to protect Josh and Cassie and she never intended for the fling to happen. Cassie tearfully surmised that Reva isn't truly sorry and wanted to know exactly what went down. She felt betrayed and continued to scream and degrade her sis until Reva suddenly slapped her! Needless to say, Cassie shut up pretty quickly. The sisters continued to go at it and Cassie challenged Reva to hit her again. Reva, meanwhile, reminded Cassie that she was the one who BEGGED her to go visit Josh in prison in the first place! She was sorry she ever told Cassie, but never said she was sorry for sleeping with Josh. Cassie stormed off as Alan approached Reva, smirking, "Oh, and I thought I was having a bad day!? Not surprisingly, he relished the sisters' brawl and ribbed an infuriated Reva about fighting for (and winning) her man. He claimed that he was on her side for bringing Cassie down, especially considering all the heartache she'd caused him lately. He figured Reva loved the fact that she was the one to give Cassie the news about sleeping with Josh. Then he informed Reva that she gave him a renewed sense of hope for the survival of the fittest. Reva countered that Alan is a very sick man, but he warned, "What goes around, comes around so you better watch your back!"

At Cedars, Daisy let Harley comfort her as she fretted about getting the MRI procedure. Harley pulled the technician aside and demanded that music be piped in to ease Daisy's anxiety and that she sit in the booth during the MRI to make sure that Daisy doesn't panic. Daisy was surprisingly sweet to her mom when she found out how much she had done to make her comfortable. Meanwhile, Gus ran into Alan and thanked him again for helping him out. Gus admitted that Daisy reminds him of himself. Having found Alan at the hospital, Josh asked him if he'd seen Cassie. Alan hadn't, but urged Josh that when he does find her, to not cross her (suggesting that Cassie was a very loose cannon).

Post MRI, a semi-stoned Daisy (they gave her painkillers) asked Gus if he was still worried that she was going to "jump his bones." He assured her he wasn't. Then Daisy 'fessed up to bringing Nat to town, but he already knew. Gus gave his stepdaughter props for her creative attempt to wreck his marriage to Harley. Then he nicknamed her "Peaches" and told her she was one of a kind (creepy!). Later, Harley told Daisy her ankle was only sprained.

Cassie showed up at the Beacon and acted normal with Josh, who was waiting for her. He said he was worried about her and she apologized for running off. Cassie poured a glass of champagne and made a toast. "To the three of us!" Josh thought she meant him, her and RJ, but no: She meant the two of them and Reva! She calmly told Josh that she knew everything. He looked mortified. Cassie irrationally surmised that it was her fault that Josh didn't tell her and accused him of believing she was far too fragile to handle it. She screamed in anger and threw her champagne glass. Josh tried to explain his side of the story and emotions ran high. Josh assured her he wanted to go forward and continue their future together. Distraught, she slammed a pot of flowers at the bedroom wall. Once alone, Cassie glanced at her engagement ring, threw a table across the room and flung herself down on the bed, screaming in anguish.

Back at juvie, Remy followed Natalia and spied on her conversation with Rafe. Natalia told her son that they were staying in Springfield and that she wanted bigger and better things for him. Before the guard led him away, she warned him to stay out of trouble and promised that she'd get him out of there soon. Later, Remy confronted Natalia, who was disgusted that he followed her there. He was stunned that she had a son, but encouraged her to open up to him as a friend. She said she was fine. When Remy asked about Rafe's father, she claimed that he was a loser back in Chicago who left them long ago. When Nat asked the guard if she could give something to Rafe, he refused and Rafe got into a scuffle with him. Then Gus showed up to sign Daisy back in. When Natalia spotted him from afar, she fled out the back door. Remy watched, unnoticed.

Reva went to the docks to think, where Josh turned up.

What did Natalia want to give to Rafe in juvie?

Dinah attempted to rouse Mallet from his nightmare when he suddenly attacked and started choking her. Once awake, Mallet had no idea what had just happened and chalked it up to a dream. She demanded to know what Mallet was dreaming about and wondered if it had anything to do with Cyrus. Then their snooping new roommate Blake (she'd graduated from the scooter and was walking with a cane) barged in and asked what the couple was talking about. Blake claimed she was trying to catch up on what was going on in town, you know, so she could resume her mayoral duties. Blake said she already knew about Cyrus and Dinah's "involvement" with him. She continued to pry, wanting to know the details of Dinah's history with the Aussie. Clearly annoyed, Dinah ended the conversation by saying she had to shower.

Olivia stopped by Company to return her engagement ring to Buzz, who wondered what (or rather who) was next for Liv. She assured her ex that she isn't planning to start something with Jeffrey. Buzz admitted that he knew what the outcome of their wedding would be, adding that though Liv is flawed and confused, he still loves her. Buzz encouraged Olivia to keep the ring, but she said she couldn't because each time she looked at it she'd be reminded that she threw away the best thing that had ever happened to her. Olivia was stunned that Buzz wasn't angrier; he said he felt gratitude for the greatest months of his life. Pointing out that he's not perfect, Buzz told her how he'd had Alan run Alan-Michael out of town, destroyed her hotel room and had a talk with Jeffrey. Olivia mentioned that she saw Jeffrey packing his bags and surmised that he was long gone by now. Jeffrey, meanwhile, put his suitcases away under his bed.

Later on at Cedars, Jeffrey informed Reva about Beth's paternity snafu, dishing that Alan was not the real daddy after all. He was surprised that she hadn't heard the news from Cassie and Josh. Reva said she's out of the loop, but smiled as she noted that could change —soon. Reva let it slip that she hoped that the results would help Cassie get some closure and move on with her life so she'd at least have a fair fight. Jeffrey wondered if Reva was talking about fighting for Josh. Reva snickered and asked Jeff for a donation to the Cancer Society before rushing off.

Josh returned from a run and flashed back to his steamy prison tryst with Reva. As he prepared to tell Cassie the truth, he calmed himself by saying, "Just be honest with her." He then walked into the house where Cassie was trying to finalize their honeymoon plans. After reminding her that they don't have a wedding date, Josh said he needed to be honest with her, especially if he is going to peruse a career in ministry. Just as Josh was about to explain himself, Cassie confessed that she rigged Beth's paternity test, saying it gave her closure. RJ walked in and interrupted their conversation; Cassie let him help pick a wedding date.

On Main Street later, Cassie ran into Olivia and asked if the Grand Ballroom at the Beacon was available for her wedding. Distracted, Liv questioned if Cassie really wants to get married there considering many of her memories there with Josh weren't necessarily happy. Cassie was unconcerned. Conversation turned to Alan and Liv noted that the discovery that Alan is NOT the father of Beth's baby must bring Cassie great satisfaction. Cassie mused that getting married will keep her from venturing over to the dark places inside her. Liv was stunned that Cassie actually believed marriage would help solve all her problems, but she wished Cassie well and said she knew she'd get the fairy-tale ending she deserved.

Reva showed up at Cassie and Josh's door, returning a plate. Josh told her about the new wedding date, then said he needed to come clean with Cassie. He said he was going to tell her tonight and he just wanted Reva to know. Reva smirked, "how courteous!" She predicted that Cassie wouldn't be so understanding when she found out; Josh disagreed. Still, Reva sassed that when things don't work out with Cassie, Josh knows where to find her. Reva said she was sorry she pushed Cassie to be with Josh and now she wanted Josh back. Josh countered that even if things didn't work out between him and Cassie, he wouldn't run immediately back to her. He said he loves Cassie and wants a future with her, then left.

Josh phoned Cassie with the news that he'd reserved a room at the Beacon to celebrate their impending wedding. Billy arrived and Josh admitted that he had planned to tell his fiancée the truth. Billy said that Reva was probably right about Cassie not being so understanding, adding that what Reva wants, Reva gets. When he saw her last, she had that fire and light in her eyes that gets her jumping into fountains (uh-oh!). He predicted that Reva would fight.

Dinah paid Buzz a visit at Company and asked what he knew about post-traumatic stress disorder, claiming she had an idea for a new TV show. Buzz said that the one thing he knew is that you had to battle PST head on or it would eventually worsen. Later, Dinah asked a depressed Mallet if he thought he needed to see someone about his disturbing dreams. He just brushed it off and told Dinah to drop the issue.

Back at home, Mallet was clearly distressed. He pulled a silver briefcase from under the bed and clutched it, as Blake watched unnoticed. Later, Dinah checked in on him. Concerned about his somber behavior, she put in a call to Cyrus and reluctantly asked him for a favor.

Back on Main Street, Olivia excused herself from her conversation with Cassie when she saw Jeffrey, who told her that he'd changed his mind about leaving Springfield, but only for Ava's sake. He suggested that Liv was happy that he's sticking around, but added that he didn't want to be the guy who messed up everything for her all the time. Liv was peeved at his arrogance and walked away, snapping, "Good luck with that." Meanwhile, Reva spotted Cassie who she thought looked distressed. Thinking Josh had already confessed their affair to her, she approached her sis and apologized. Reva explained that she didn't mean to hurt her and she was only trying to comfort Josh when they made love back in the prison. It wasn't planned. Cassie looked mortified. She didn't know!

A nostalgic Gus delivered a monologue about his relationship with Natalia, noting that she was once his "everything girl" and one day he just walked away from her and never looked back.

Back to where we left off yesterday, at Otto's in Chicago, Natalia's request for a loan from thuggish Tommy turned sour when he started groping her, but Gus came to the rescue. Nat didn't buy Gus's concern and called him out on leaving her way back when. Then she chided him for trying to be a hero today. She claimed she didn't need his help. Then Jones, the deaf barkeep/diner owner, recognized Gus (or Nicky, in this case) and encouraged the "couple" to sit down for a meal. The duo noticed their initials carved in the wall and tried to hash things out about their past. Gus attempted to explain himself and why he left her long ago.

Worried about how exactly to tell Harley where he was (and who he was with), Gus tried out leaving various voicemail messages for her, fearing she'd freak out on him. Then she suddenly showed up! Apparently he had informed the police station where he was going and Harley followed him all the way to Chi-town. She fumed about Gus just running off to help Natalia, but the women were congenial and Nat reassured Harley that she didn't ask for Gus's assistance. The ladies played darts alone and tried to be friendly while Gus drank a beer at the bar and fretted about how he'd deal with two women in his life now. Harley figured out that Daisy was the one who contacted Natalia in the first place and surmised that her own daughter was trying to break up her marriage. Nat apologized for coming to Springfield at all and swore she didn't want to mess things up for Gus and Harley. Harley said she wished Natalia was mean and ugly so she could hate her; no such luck. They bonded over a chat about their pasts. When Gus joined them, Natalia refused to say why she's having financial problems, but Harley offered to give her a loan. The women rushed off to the bank, while Gus delivered another dramatic noir-inspired monologue in which he revealed that he had skipped town after the mob killed the best man he ever knew (his dad). He just up and left — without a word to Natalia.

Back at Otto's, Gus asked a guy named Malone to take care of Tommy for him. Malone obliged, claiming he'd do anything for Joe August's boy. When Daisy called him from juvie to say she was in trouble, Gus made a beeline to Springfield.

At juvie, a flustered Daisy blushed when Rafe approached her, but all he wanted was to use the nearby phone. When Daisy got into a scuffle with one of the Mean Girls, Coop (he's a teacher there, remember?) tried to break them up and Rafe punched him. Turns out, Daisy hurt her foot in the fight and needed medical assistance. Gus arrived and told Mrs. Hannigan that he'd take his stepdaughter to the ER, but Mrs. H. would only release Daisy to one of her "real" parents. Shockingly, Gus went to Alan for help: He needed Alan to be devious. Aitoro explained that Daisy was hurt and needed medication, but he couldn't get in touch with Harley or Dylan to sign the proper papers. Father and son bonded as they discussed their children-related situations, then Alan called Doris for a favor. Meanwhile, Daisy said a little prayer begging for the pain to stop in her leg. Gus returned to the institution with medication (Alan had pulled enough strings to get them, apparently). Daisy wanted to know how Gus had made it happen; he said he'd do anything for her. Daisy thanked him and joked that she didn't think Gus knew how to stop being everybody's hero.

With Natalia back in Springfield, she encountered Gus, who was looking for his wife. Nat thanked him for the loan and asked if there was anything that would make him leave Harley. There wasn't. Natalia teared up as Gus left to find his wife. Meanwhile, on Main Street, Alan informed Harley about his meddling in her business and she was obviously upset. He claimed he was only trying to help Daisy. Harley reluctantly thanked him, but wondered just how much she'd have to pay for it. Alan joked that he'd likely show up at random and ask for repayment — just like an old girlfriend (ouch!).

After Gus tracked down Harley, they cuddled in bed. Harley thanked him for going out on a limb by asking Alan for help and they talked about how indebted they were, especially considering everyone else was "finding their light" and "paying it forward." Harley brought up Natalia and Gus admitted that having three ladies in his life was tough work. Then he confided that he followed his ex to Chicago because he still felt guilty about leaving her when they were teens. Harley suspected that Natalia was running from trouble. They made amends and Harley assured Gus that he really is a hero and truly appreciated by everyone for all he does.

Back at juvie, Natalia hugged Rafe and told him she finally had enough money for a good lawyer. As the guards dragged him away, he said good-bye to his mom: Rafe is Natalia's son!

It's the day of Cyrus's court proceedings. Mallet and Dinah prepared for the event by comparing outfits: Mallet looking just "coppish" enough and Dinah making sure she didn't look like a criminal herself.

Cyrus, meanwhile, talked over the details of his case with his übergeeky and very squirrelly public defender. The outlook wasn't good. When Marina entered the courtroom, Cyrus approached her. She said that he had to know that he would eventually end up in court, adding that he's a criminal and deserves whatever sentence he gets. Later, Mallet and Dinah arrived. Dinah checked in on Cyrus who felt defeated and suspected that he'd end up in prison yet again. Dinah icily warned him against trying to ruin Mallet (by revealing his super-secret past, no doubt) when he took the stand. As the hearing began, Alexandra suddenly barged in with a new lawyer for Cyrus. The judge reluctantly agreed to let him change legal counsel. Cyrus thanked Alex, who added that Donovan isn't a very ethical lawyer, but he can win cases.

Later, Marina took the stand and answered a roster of questions about her kidnapping and the Reardon's stolen money. Just as she was attempting to tell the attorney that Cyrus actually protected and saved her, the lawyer cut her off. On cross-examination, Donovan questioned Marina's credibility as a cop, forcing her to answer why she was cavorting socially with an alleged criminal. When Donovan asked why Marina kissed Cyrus, she fumbled for an appropriate answer.

At Company, Natalia complained about a shoddy tip to Remy, who asked if she was having cash-flow issues. She admitted she was, but refused to ask Gus for help. Meanwhile, Gus and Harley canoodled on Main Street and planned their day together. When Gus said he'd go see Daisy in juvie, Harley shot down the idea, reminding him yet again that Dylan is Daisy's father and he was going to visit her. Gus was obviously not pleased. He wanted to know why Harley waited until the last minute to tell him. Wounded, Gus surmised that Harley was probably just jealous of Natalia. She denied it and assured Gus that she understands that he had a life before she was in the picture.... Later on, Harley nagged Dylan over his tardiness. She called him out on not being serious about wanting to raise Daisy. Dylan asked if putting their daughter in juvie solved all of Harley's problems (she was quickly silenced).

Bunkmates Daisy and Ashlee complained/bonded over the lack of attention they were receiving from their parental units. Ashlee said Doris is a far worse mother than Harley, which made Daisy jokingly counter, "Wanna switch?" Later, Daisy asked Ashlee to punch her in the face so she'd have a big shiner when Harley arrived. Ashlee refused, claiming she was a pacifist. Daisy reminded her she shot someone. (Oh, yeah. That.) The duo continued to trade horror stories about their 'rents. Ashlee revealed that Doris once let her walk around for weeks on a broken leg because she thought her daughter was faking. While they did their chores, Ashlee and Daisy rounded the corner to find the new crop of hoodlums at juvie, one of which was Rafe. He exchanged a quick glance with Daisy, who batted her eyes; Rafe smiled.

Dylan and Harley showed up to visit Daisy, who refused to accept her mom's treats and gifts. She claimed she didn't want Harley there. Dylan pulled the daddy card and demanded that Daisy give her mom the respect she deserves. The trio sat down for a serious heart-to-heart. Dylan explained how and why he and Harley gave Daisy up when she was a baby. Daisy, meanwhile, finally got the answers she wanted for so long. He explained that back then they were young and needed help, confessing that he was the one who told Harley to give Daisy up. Dylan vowed that Harley will never give up on her again. Before they left, Harley was ecstatic that Daisy actually hugged her, then thanked Dylan for taking the bullet for her.

Back at Company, Remy asked Natalia out and offered her a loan. She questioned how old he is, then graciously declined both offers. When a sullen Gus showed up, he asked Nat to not shut him out. She poured him a cup of joe and he began talking about his Daisy/Harley woes. Natalia advised Gus to talk to his wife about how he felt. Then Nat fished around to see if Gus was ever sad that he didn't have kids of his own. He replied that Harley's children were like his own. Afterward, Natalia took a call from someone who she planned to meet at a place called Otto's; Remy overheard. When Gus asked where Nat ran off to, Remy explained and asked Gus if he was going to fix things.

Back in the courtroom, the judge declared that Cyrus was innocent on all counts (they weren't able to prove otherwise beyond a reasonable doubt). Mallet admitted that he was relieved, but Dinah reminded him that Cyrus still held all the cards in their little game. Dinah approached Cyrus and congratulated him. Surprisingly, Cyrus said they were even. He considered her debt to him paid, claiming "honor among thieves" as he glanced over at Marina.

At the random dive called Otto's, Natalia asked for a loan from a big guy named Tommy who demanded some collateral first and started groping her. Gus arrived and warned Tommy to, "watch where you put your hands."

On Main Street a bummed-out Marina checked her voicemail. No new messages. She sighed in disappointment, then quickly covered and reassured herself, "Good!" Then Cyrus appeared and grabbed her from behind. In a deft police move, Marina smacked him in the mouth to free herself. She feigned disgust at his return and informed him that he's still a criminal who deserved to be caught. Cyrus told her that he wouldn't let her catch him ... unless he wanted her to (wink, wink!). When Marina found out about his new gig as Alexandra's driver, she was shocked. Cyrus explained that he was about to leave Springfield for good, but his luck changed when Alex approached him about the job. Later, Cyrus accused Marina of having several chances to actually arrest him, but she never did and he questioned why. When Alex arrived, Marina asked her if she knew who she was dealing with. Alex assured Marina that Cyrus was just as good as any driver, adding that he was exceptionally easy on the eyes!

Reva ran into Josh at the juvie detention center. She was there to visit Daisy, but Josh wasn't quite certain why he was there. He let Reva in on his previous encounter with the little hoodlum Rafe and shared how he couldn't get the words of Rev. Ruthledge out of his mind. As it turns out, he'd signed in as Rafe's "clergyman." Reva was incredibly confused and asked Josh if he was really considering becoming a part of the church.

At Cedars, Rick and Alan impatiently waited for the paternity test results while Cassie, who had sneaked into the lab, was appalled by the final results: Alan is the father. Tammy's ghost appeared to Cassie again and encouraged her to to give Alan what he deserves (and to save the baby) by changing the test results. Tammy assured Cassie that she was doing the right thing, despite her concern. After telling herself that it was indeed the right thing to do and would bring justice for all of the horrible things Alan had done, Cassie deleted Alan's name and entered Rick's on the results. Then she hid as the doctor came in to fetch the test.

Alan and Rick fawned over Beth. Alex arrived to give her congratulations to the new parents while the two potential daddies traded barbs. When the doctor showed up and informed everyone that Rick sired the baby, Alan looked peeved. Rick smiled a huge sigh of relief. Alan couldn't believe the results and demanded the test be conducted again. Before he stormed out, Alan told a smug Rick that the results meant nothing to him. Later, Cassie blissfully watched from afar as Alex tried to console a heartbroken Alan. When Cassie told Billy the news, he knew she was loving the fact that Alan was suffering; she couldn't deny it. Cassie approached Alan and added more insult to injury by asking him if he felt as empty and hopeless and as devastated as she did when she lost Tammy. Her words didn't seem to faze him at all.

Outside of Company, Reva urged Josh to meet with the local software mogul when Rev. Ruthledge walked by. Josh explained that he wanted to change his life and hoped to do something noble, but wasn't certain if he really wanted to be a member of the clergy. The reverend shared that he thought Josh would make an excellent minister. Reva, meanwhile, was clearly freaked out by the notion. Later, Josh and Ruthledge sat down for a heart-to-heart. Josh informed the reverend that he was unfaithful to Cassie and that he slept with Reva while in prison, but he was too afraid to tell Cassie the truth. The reverend wasn't able to give Josh any easy answers about his sensitive situation, but told Josh that joining the church wasn't the best way to deal with his guilt and he needed to be honest with himself and everyone he loved.

On Main Street, A uniformed cop (with Marina by his side) handcuffed Cyrus. Marina had FINALLY arrested him on charges of kidnapping and robbery. Alex was confused as she tried to convince the officer that Cyrus was a great driver. As Cyrus was led away, Marina read him his rights and Alex threw her hands up, exclaiming, "I can't drive a limo!"

Back at the Beacon, Beth was clearly distressed. She couldn't believe that Alan was still acting as if he was the father. A surprisingly gentle and loving Alan said the baby would be a huge part of his life and "to hell with the DNA test!" The two hugged and Beth told Alan she wanted him, not Rick to be the father of her baby. Later, Alan made arrangements to have Beth stay at the hotel indefinitely in attempt to protect her from any potential harassment by Rick. Alan tried to soothe Beth's concerns and told her that she need not worry about anything because he'd take care of Rick Bauer. Then he smiled and put on some opera.

Cassie told Josh that she was incredibly relieved that Alan isn't the father of Beth's baby and asked Josh if he thought she was a bad person for wanting Alan to suffer. He assured her she wasn't, but said that everyone must deal with consequences. Josh sat Cassie down and told her that he had finally figured out what he wanted to do with his life: be a minister. Cassie was speechless. She didn't understand how he could do it right after getting out of prison (how could he not want to seek revenge?) Then she let him know that it was a very powerful decision. She assured Josh she would be fine, as long as she was with him. Then Josh began to tell her about what happened while he was in prison, but Cassie got up when she heard a noise outside. It was Tammy again. Cassie told the ghost that she was fine, but Tammy wondered if what she had done to Alan (switching the test results) would ever be enough to make him pay.

Reva informed Billy that his brother was seriously considering becoming a minister. Billy was obviously stunned as Reva continued to try to make sense of it all. How could Josh be a minister if he couldn't even be truthful to Cassie about what happened? Billy was amused by Reva, who joked that she'd be okay with Josh confessing to Cassie, you know, "if it was God's will." Later, Billy told Reva he thought Cassie was a little "off." Reva surmised that Josh was likely telling her about their affair right at that moment (you can't be a minister and not be truthful!). She said that she knew things could potentially get ugly with Cassie, but that was a risk she was willing to take.
