GL Recaps Week of July 30, 2007

Reva gave a stunned Jeffrey the old "It's not you, it's me" routine as she tried to break up with him. She sipped a stiff drink as he did everything in his power to change her mind, including putting the kibosh on their upcoming trip. Reva spun a story, fibbing that she thought he still had unfinished business with Olivia. Jeffrey was reluctant, but finally agreed to the split and they finalized it with a long kiss good-bye. Later, Reva begrudgingly informed Liv that she'd done what La Spencer wanted, noting that she hates Olivia almost as much as she now hates herself.

Olivia and Ava showed up at the Springfield PD where Liv surprisingly came clean to Frank about paying someone to mug her own daughter. Frank was shocked by Liv's behavior (and called her out on doing it to get Jeffrey's attention), but Ava defended her mom. Liv admitted that she deserved to be punished, but Frank said there wasn't a case so she wasn't arrested.

Natalia informed Rafe that she was applying for a new job at Towers and said that he probably wouldn't be seeing Gus again anytime soon. When Alan entered, he wondered about Gus's whereabouts as well. Nat had no idea that he had left town. After Rafe left to meet up with Daisy, Alan lectured Nat again for allowing her son to mingle with Daisy. Nat brushed off Alan's accusations when the conversation turned to her interference in Harley and Gus's relationship, but he suggested that she'd already become other woman.

At Cedars, Harley was pleased to see Dylan awake. He encouraged her to find Gus and started to explain what happened on the night of the accident when Daisy entered the room and interrupted. When they were alone again, Dylan said that he must have blacked out from the concussion and that's why he lost control of the car. Then he confessed to Harley that he saw Gus standing in the door of his room that night when they were in bed. Mortified, Harley realized that Gus thinks she cheated on him; she immediately rushed off in search of him to explain what really happened. When Harley later ran into Alan, he taunted her about not knowing where her own husband was, then manipulated her into thinking she was at fault for Gus's disappearance and suggested that he had slept with Nat.

On Main Street, Daisy swiped a get-well gift for Dylan, despite Rafe's warning. When the duo was caught red-handed by the store manager, he threatened to call the cops, but Rafe suggested phoning his grandfather instead. Alan promptly showed up and offered to pay for the pilfered item. Daisy split and Alan pulled his grandson aside for a brief lecture on learning how to behave like a Spaulding.

Back at Cedars, Reva paid Dylan a visit. He encouraged his mom to be happy, and gave his blessing for her to be with Jeffrey.... Daisy arrived, gave her pop the gift and questioned if he was planning to reunite with Harley, admitting that she liked it when they were together. Dylan answered that he thought it was possible before, but now realizes that Gus and Harley are "as solid as a rock."

After giving her statement to the PD, Olivia went to Jeffrey's place to apologize to him about setting up Ava's mugging, claiming she wanted to make things right between them. When she asked him out to dinner, he declined the offer and showed her to the door. Reva later arrived in search of her cell phone, but she quickly conceded that she really just needed someone to talk to. Jeffrey soothed her, they kissed and he hung a "Do not disturb" sign on the door. Olivia, meanwhile, watched unnoticed from the hall.

On the hunt for Gus, Harley arrived at the Spaulding manse where a guilt-ridden Natalia greeted her. Harley tried to rally Nat's support, knowing that they were both pawns in Alan's manipulative game. When Harley mentioned that Alan suggested that Nat had slept with Gus, Nat's silence was the only answer Harley needed to believe it was true.

To keep up with the Alex/Cyrus charade, Marina and Cyrus feigned a fight at Towers in front of Buzz and Lillian, then flirted in private and made plans to rendezvous. Sensing his granddaughter was "putting on," Buzz pulled the duo into the elevator and told them they were busted. Buzz agreed to keep quiet about their relationship, as long as Alex wasn't hurt in the end. Marina agreed to stay and have dinner with Buzz and Lillian but when Cyrus later showed up, his chemistry with Marina couldn't be ignored — especially on the dance floor. Buzz warned Marina not to let herself get hurt again. After a dance, Cyrus and Marina fled to the hall, where Cyrus was quickly whisked away to the bar for drinks with a Spaulding associate. Marina was left by herself as Buzz and Lillian continued their own flirtations on the balcony.

At C02, Ashlee made fun of Coop's most recent writing endeavor: an article entitled "A Springfield Guy's Guide to Dating" then informed him that she had a date with Stuart later ... and she was nervous. Coop couldn't understand why Ashlee was attracted to a creep like Stuart. Later, Coop prepared to leave after receiving a call from Ava, who claimed she was still suffering from her mugging incident. When He ran into Stuart, Coop reminded him that Ashlee was a very special girl. Dirtbag Stuart agreed, responding that "Girls like Ashlee make the best girlfriends because they're always grateful."

At the Beacon, Jonathan returned to the room he once shared with Tammy, who appeared to him in a fantasy wherein the happy newlyweds canoodled, Tammy cooed about being Mrs. Randall for a mere twelve hours and they fretted about Sarah together. As the couple began to make love, Jon quickly snapped out of his daze.

Olivia dropped by Cross Creek, eager to know if Reva had made a decision on her proposition from yesterday. Emotions ran high as the women continued to squabble over who was a better mother. Reva refused to betray Jeffrey, a loyal friend and lover, while a desperate Olivia screamed that she was the one who deserved more time with him. When Liv compared Jeffrey to Josh, Reva barked, "Jeffrey O'Neill is not your Josh."

Jeffrey tried to spend some quality time with an ailing Ava in her room but was interrupted by Olivia, who said that she wanted him to ask her for forgiveness. Irritated, Jeffrey scoffed and promptly stormed off. Later, Coop arrived and tried to console Ava, but was clearly distracted by Ashlee's date with Stuart. Ava reminded her ex that he didn't have to take care of Ashlee; Coop didn't agree and left.

Back at the Beacon, Reva showed up to comfort a tearful Jon, whose sadness gave way to anger when she informed him that Olivia was armed and ready to blackmail them. Jon vowed to protect Sarah, no matter what it takes, and demanded that Reva leave. Reva begged her son not to make any stupid mistakes and plead with him to trust that she could fix everything. She advised him to return to Sarah and remain safe while she dealt with Olivia. Jon reluctantly agreed, kissed her good-bye and left.

Olivia handed over a pair of plane tickets to Jeffrey, who admitted to to her that he might love Reva and they were great together. When Olivia asked what they were together, Jeffrey deadpanned that he and Liv were an accident waiting to happen.... An emotional Liv left to find Reva and begged her to break up with Jeffrey, threatening again to expose Jon and Sarah. Jon, meanwhile, found Jeffrey on Main Street and asked him to take care of Reva.

Coop unexpectedly showed up at CO2 and interrupted Ashlee's date, but she was glad because things weren't going so well with Stuart, anyway. Coop and Ashlee's flirting was stopped short once again when Ava phoned, asking for her ex's assistance. After a tearful Ashlee told him it was okay to leave, Coop pulled her in for a kiss (finally!).

Jeffrey arrived at Cross Creek with two plane tickets and told Reva they needed to jet off for a break. Reva agreed, but said she needed a different kind of break — one from him.

Reva recited a monologue about motherhood, secrets and sacrifices while she held vigil at an unconscious Dylan's bedside at Cedars. Olivia, meanwhile, tucked in little Emma and pondered her tumultuous relationship with Jeffrey.... After checking in on Dylan one more time, Reva stepped out into the hospital stairwell and was stunned to see Jonathan there. The elated mother and son shared a tender, tearful reunion where Jonathan reassured Reva that baby Sarah was perfectly safe and healthy. Reva's happiness quickly gave way to fear and frustration as she realized the risk Jon was taking by showing up. Jon explained that he'd read about Dylan's accident online so he wanted to check up on her. Later, Reva dished about Cassie and Josh's pending nups, as well as her friends-with-benefits arrangement with Jeffrey. Reva confessed to Jon that Jeffrey figured out that he and Sarah are alive, but reassured her son that she fully trusts Jeffrey. When Jon spied Lizzie in the hall, he asked Reva how his ex was doing and admitted that he'd often longed to reveal to her that Sarah was alive, but couldn't risk his daughter's safety; Reva understood and soothed her son's worries.

Olivia showed up at Cross Creek, DVD in hand, where she unexpectedly ran into Billy, who assumed Liv was up to no good. When she spun a story about grieving over Jon (her nephew, remember?), Billy wasn't buying it. Fuming, Olivia stormed out.

Back in the Cedars stairwell, Reva and Jon shared a brief farewell. As Reva headed back inside, Jon slipped away ... but Olivia had overheard everything. As she vowed to not let Reva get away with her secret, Jon grabbed her from behind and put his hand over her mouth, threatening, "So far no one's had to die to keep my secret, but that can change." Olivia appeared relieved that he was alive and tearfully hugged him; Jon wasn't as thrilled. She promised to stay quiet, claimed she was proud of Jon and noted how similar they are because they're both willing to sacrifice everything in order to protect their children. They hugged and Jon left. Reva ran into a seemingly genuine Olivia on her way out of Cedars. Liv gave her condolences regarding Dylan's accident. When Reva scoffed at her rival's feigned emotion, Olivia turned cold and whipped out the DVD of Sarah. Reva railed at Liv, but when La Spencer revealed a cell phone snapshot of Jon and Reva together in the stairwell, Reva was promptly silenced. Not surprisingly, Olivia threatened blackmail.

On Main Street, Reva consoled an emotional Lizzie, who said she wished she had died with Jon and Sarah. When Olivia approached, she unexpectedly refrained from spilling everything to Lizzie. Reva reminded Liv, mother to mother, that she was doing what was best for her children and grandchildren. After the hospital phoned about Dylan, Reva rushed off.

Back at Cedars, a doctor informed Reva that Dylan needs a blood transfusion, but he has a rare type. Suddenly, Olivia appeared (again) and offered to donate hers. Later, Liv and Reva half-heartedly made amends and, dare we say, bonded as a nurse took Liv's blood. The sentiment didn't last long, however, when Liv reminded Reva that she was going to fight for her happiness, even if it meant spilling Reva's secret.

Outside of Company, Jeffrey surprised Reva with roses and the couple cooed about how much they enjoyed each other's company. When Jeffrey suggested Reva accompany him on a romantic vacation, she agreed. They smooched good-bye and Jeffrey departed. Post-transfusion Liv, who'd been lurking stepped forward and pulled a guilt trip on Reva. Reva asked what price she had to pay for Liv's silence; it was Jeffrey. Olivia plead her case that she and Jeffrey deserved a chance to work out their differences, but Reva refused to oblige. Before she turned to leave, Liv gave Reva a final ultimatum and she had until tomorrow to decide: give up Jeffrey or face the legal consequences of lying about Jon and Sarah.

Jeffrey and Reva flirted over a few beers at Cross Creek, then Billy unexpectedly showed up to tell them that Josh and Cassie were planning to wed sometime around Thanksgiving. Reva feigned happiness while Billy confessed that he probably won't attend the nups. Reva encouraged him to go, claimed she was fine with the situation and thanked him for the news. After Billy left, Jeffrey embraced a tearful Reva and they had sex. Later, Reva said she liked having Jeffrey around; he admitted that he'd miss her if she left him for another one of her "disastrous relationships."

Olivia re-watched the videotape of Sarah that she had snagged from Reva's purse and questioned if Jonathan was also still alive. As she rushed out her door, she ran into Lizzie. Later, Liv broke into Reva's room at the Beacon to searched for more clues about Jon's whereabouts when Jeffrey caught her. Liv covered, claiming she was doing some maintenance, then distracted Jeffrey by kissing him as she put Reva's date book into her purse. Alone, Olivia questioned why Reva had obscured her dead son's phone number.

At Towers, Cassie told Dinah to forget about the jerks at the bar who were calling her dumb and suggested that they get even. Cassie approached the guys and spun a story to get their attention. After a few drinks, the girls split ... with one of the guy's wallet's. The duo was quickly forced to turn over the stolen goods, however, when Mallet caught them red-handed. Dinah was later forced to explain her actions to her hubby, begged him not to pity her and admitted that she wished she had died from the wound.

Gus and Natalia continued their steamy romp on the couch, which moved to the floor (on top of the cushions, of course) while Harley called Gus's cell phone to have him pick her up from Dylan's place. When he didn't answer, Harley angrily warned Dylan to stay away from her and began to leave. Dylan laughed at his ex's temper, reminding her that she wouldn't have agreed to come over in the first place if she wasn't tempted by him. Emotions ran high after Harley admitted that she screwed up by leading Dylan on at first, but insisted that she doesn't still have feelings for him ... and never will. When Dylan refused to hear her out, Harley slapped him to shut him up. Hurt, Dylan solemnly told her to get in the car so he could drive her home.

Gus and Nat shared some post-coital cuddling and reminisced about their old high school days together. Nat confessed she was happy about the unexpected reunion, but Gus told her that it could never happen again and prepared to leave, explaining that he didn't want to ruin his marriage; Nat wasn't convinced.

After trying to make Rafe jealous by flirting with an old classmate, Daisy got a call from Harley and Dylan, who were driving home and bickering. She asked where they were, heard a crash and Harley scream, then the line went dead. At Cedars, an unconscious Dylan was rushed into surgery and Harley's minor scratches were tended to. She informed the medic that they were arguing when Dylan lost control of the car. Later, Reva, Daisy and Rafe hustled to the hospital after Harley phoned them with the news.

Remy warned Nat about getting involved with Gus, who had already left for the hospital. Harley and Gus embraced and she informed him that Dylan was suffering from internal injuries. Gus apologized for their fight and told her that he was going to Chicago for anger management; he later slipped out, unnoticed. Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location, Jonathan cradled baby Sarah, read an online report about Dylan's accident and told his daughter he was going to see grandma.

At Cedars, Dinah's doctor was stunned that her stint in the rehabilitation clinic was so brief. She said her memory was much better, but not back to 100 percent. Dinah snapped when Mallet suggested that she might never be the same again. Once they were back in their room at the Beacon, Mallet reassured Dinah that he'd continue to love her, no matter what.

On Main Street, a lonely Cassie (Josh was away at a church seminar) ran into Matt, who was distraught after receiving divorce papers from Vanessa. Cassie attempted to cheer him up, reminding him that all couples go through their ups and downs.

Harley drunkenly groped Dylan at Towers and admitted that she liked being around him. He was confused by her sudden change of heart, but milked the moment and her obvious vulnerability, adding that he still viewed her as a feisty "take no prisoners" hottie — not a worn out mother of three. Harley thanked her ex for his compliments and eagerly asked for more as she fondled the buttons on his shirt. Meanwhile, Natalia tried to soothe Gus, who was upset after the disastrous dinner party at the Spaulding manse. Gus left to check on Rafe while Nat received a stern lecture from Alan, who warned her that Harley would inevitably break Gus's heart, noting that she always had a knack for hurting Spaulding men. Nat was stunned when Alan informed her about the time Harley cheated on Gus with Mallet. She thanked Spaulding for allowing her and Rafe to move in with him, but told him that she couldn't be threatened or fooled by his manipulative ways.

Later, Dylan tried to pull Harley away as she angrily accused Alan of following her to the restaurant. Alan sneered that Harley was just a pathetic drunk, then privately dialed Gus's number from Harley's cell phone and placed it on a nearby table. Having answered the call, Gus overheard Dylan tell Harley that he was taking her back to his place; Gus rushed out to find his wife.... At the Beacon, Dylan tried to sober Harley up by offering her a cup of coffee but after he accidentally spilled it on her, she took off her dress, put on one of his T-shirts and quickly passed out in his bed. When Gus later walked in unnoticed, he eyed Harley snuggling next to Dylan who whispered, "I've waited so long for this." Assuming the exes had slept together, Gus held his temper and quickly turned to leave without uttering a word.

Mallet informed Frank about Dinah's stint in rehab and asked him for longer leave of absence from the Springfield PD; Frank apologized and refused the request so Mallet begged Frank to fire him. Later, Mallet asked Matt for his help in caring for Dinah, but Matt said he had to focus on saving his troubled marriage.

At Towers, Cassie played nice with Dinah and the duo sat down for dinner. Thinking Mallet had requested that Cassie look after her, Dinah begged Cassie not to pity her. "I'm not a loser!" she cried and stormed off to flirt with a group of guys sitting the bar. Five minutes later, she had scored two phone numbers, proving she still "had it". Cassie applauded Dinah. Dinah's ego was quickly deflated, however, when she later overheard the guys laughing and calling her "stupid."

When Harley woke up, she railed at Dylan for not taking her home, adding how mortified she'd be if someone saw them in bed together. Meanwhile, an outraged Gus broke into Natalia's empty apartment; she was still there picking up a few things for her move into the Spaulding manse. Sensing something was afoot, a concerned Nat pressed Gus for details about Harley and Dylan. He refused to give her a straight answer and pulled her in for a passionate buss, which quickly turned into a steamy make-out session on the couch.
