It's the day of Josh and Cassie's wedding. At the Beacon, Blake helped blushing bride-to-be Cassie with her makeup. "I'm getting married, not going off on the KISS reunion tour!" Cassie laughed as Blake departed to retrieve another bag of makeup. Josh snuck up behind Cassie, but thinking he was an attacker she sprayed him in the eyes with perfume. Then she chided him for visiting her before the ceremony (because of bad luck and all). When Cassie later checked the status of her online invites, she was bummed to learn that Reva still hadn't responded; Josh broke the news that Shayne and Marah weren't showing up to the nups either. After Josh left, Cassie had a vision of Tammy in her wedding dress as she prepared to put on her own.

On the other side of town, Jeffrey RSVP'd for the wedding while Olivia frantically dialed 911 to report Emma's disappearance when her phone rang — it was little Emma saying she was at Auntie Reva's house. When Reva picked up the phone, she threatened Liv and reminded her that she would do anything to protect Jonathan’s secret. An infuriated Liv hung up and rushed to Cross Creek. As Reva played with Emma, Josh unexpectedly arrived in search of H.B.’s cufflinks. He reminded her about the wedding; Reva feigned happiness and asked Josh if he was really going through with it. Later, Reva and Olivia bickered over the “kidnapping” situation when Jeffrey arrived to break things up. Much to Liv’s chagrin, Jeffrey asked Reva to be his date for the wedding. Reva accepted and kicked her rival out.... At Farley's (now Lizzie's) bar, a drunken Billy prepared himself for the ceremony while Lizzie eagerly gave her two cents about what he should say in his best man speech.

Back at the Beacon, Cassie confessed to Blake that their little chat from yesterday influenced her last-minute decision to tie the knot, adding “we’ll solve whatever problems when they come up!” Both women lamented the fact that Harley was missing out on the ceremony, Blake departed and then Cassie shared a big smile with ghost Tammy, who’d shown up again. Tammy reassured her mom that it was okay for her to be happy.

On Main Street (decorated with flowers for the event) Josh told Billy that Reva probably wasn’t coming. Billy realized he’d left the wedding rings at the bar, but Lizzie showed up to save the day, rings in tow. The new friends hugged and bonded as Lizzie was reminded of baby Sarah. Later, Reverend Ruthledge informed Josh that he didn’t have the official wedding papers for the betrothed to sign, but it could wait until after the ceremony. When Reva and Jeffrey arrived, Cassie said she was glad her sis decided to attend. Reva didn’t wish Cassie well, however, and told her that she couldn’t pretend to be happy. The sibs argued and an upset Cassie declared that Reva shouldn’t have come at all.

Jeffrey confronted Olivia about her previous fight with Reva. Liv complained about Reva meddling in everyone’s business. When Jeffrey begged her to stop the feud, Liv sneered that she was just getting warmed up, then turned to phone Alan for a favor. Shortly after, the ceremony began and Cassie walked down the aisle. Just as the reverend asked if anyone protested the marriage, Reva accidentally dropped her champagne glass, exclaiming “Oops!” Cassie was clearly annoyed, but the nups continued anyway. Reva created another disruption as she got up from her seat to leave early. Cassie tossed a glare in Reva’s direction then tearfully recited her vows, calling Josh her savior and thanked him for taking on her burdens; Josh did the same, mentioning his “twin destinies” (Cassie and the one that brought him to her... read: Reva). Rings were exchanged and just as Ruthledge was pronouncing them husband and wife, a loud crash interrupted the ceremony. Olivia, who was on her way to meet Alan, had hit Reva with her car.

Alexandra was delighted that Cyrus had cleared his schedule and made plans for a day at the yacht club together before pulling her hubby in for a very passionate buss. She quickly laughed it off when Cyrus tried to squirm away. He reminded Alex about their marriage "deal." She admitted to breaking the terms of their agreement, but knew that he had, too. Then she suggested another offer: a real job at Spaulding Enterprises. Cyrus's eyes grew wide with surprise (and greed, no doubt) as Alex welcomed him to the company and handed over a contract. Then he stepped out to take a call from Marina. Later, Lillian paid Alex a visit and the ladies chuckled over the fact that Alex kissed Cyrus. "I mean, I really kissed him!" La Spaulding squealed in delight. Lillian called Alex out on falling for Cyrus and questioned what desperate measures she was taking to keep him so close.

At CO2, Buzz advised Marina to stop moping about (she hadn't heard from Cyrus yet). He was miffed and clearly preoccupied with Alan's plans to ruin Main Street. When Marina told her gramps to stop fretting because it was making him sweat, Buzz freaked out and asked Marina to smell his armpits to make sure he didn't stink (yes, he did), citing his pending date with Lillian. "At least someone's getting something," Marina pouted as she helped him put on his jacket and tie. After Marina left to call Cyrus, Doris showed up to try to win Buzz's campaign support. He wasn't buying Doris's shtick and began tearing down her posters and tossing out her campaign buttons.

At Towers, Ashlee hugged Coop and surprisingly admitted that she was in love with him, which clearly made Coop uncomfortable. They moved to the balcony, where Ashlee demanded that her crush 'fess up to his feelings for her. Their argument was quickly interrupted by a call warning them about Doris and Buzz's fight on Main Street. Meanwhile, on the other side of the restaurant, Cassie and Blake (she's back!) met for lunch. Blake whined about Doris's mayoral campaign and pondered running herself again. Cassie discouraged her friend, reminding her of the Springfield blogger debacle. Cassie told Blake that Rob Layne had died, shared the sweet note he'd left for her and wondered what had happened to her old "fun self." Blake sympathized with Cassie's concerns about what being married to a minister would do to her personality, then suggested Cassie blow off some steam.... with a man. Blake retreated to the bar while Cassie made a mysterious call.

Back on Main Street, emotions ran high as Buzz and Doris continued to bicker about the campaign. When Coop and Ashlee arrived to break up the scuffle, an emboldened Ashlee demanded that her mom leave Buzz alone. Ashlee tearfully screamed at her mom, citing how many times she had humiliated her over the years and had driven away nearly all of her friends, the Coopers included. Stunned, Doris stormed off and informed Buzz that he'd made a huge mistake. Later, Coop and Buzz tried to comfort Ashlee, who left to find her mom. Doris was genuinely upset and tried to convince Ashlee that everything she'd done was all for her daughter. They reconciled and hugged.

Reverend Ruthledge a.k.a. Stephen asked Josh to attend his annual church retreat. Josh was reluctant, noting his upcoming wedding.... As it turns out, Cassie had phoned Josh to explain her concerns to him, adding that she can't be defined only as a minister's wife. Josh was surprisingly understanding and assured her that nothing had changed between them. "Well maybe it should," Cassie declared and suggested they not wait until November to get married — she wanted to do it now; Josh was elated.

Cyrus and Marina met up to discuss their relationship. Marina declared her feelings, but Cyrus encouraged her to find a good, decent fellow and said that he needed a break. When Marina wouldn't let go, Cyrus said they should end things completely because she deserved better. He leaned in for a kiss that quickly moved to the bed, but Marina stopped the romp and tearfully pushed Cyrus away. When she asked him if being a Spaulding is really what he wanted, Cyrus said, "Maybe that's all I ever really wanted" and turned to leave.

Marina, who was pumping some post-breakup iron, informed Coop that she wasn't planning to win Cyrus back.... Cyrus handed over his signed Spaulding contract to Alex.... While canoodling with Lillian, Buzz decided to run for mayor.... Josh and Cassie kissed and made last-minute wedding plans.

Mallet and Dinah canoodled in towels after a steamy shower. Dinah was still preoccupied with her big medical bills and vowed to fix their financial situation.

At Towers, a restless Cyrus complained about his meal and whined about not being able to stray far from Alexandra's side because of her broken ankle. Alex reminded her new hubby that he wasn't a prisoner and encouraged him to leave. He departed and Alex phoned Dinah to request a meeting. Moments later, Doris and Ashlee approached their former housemate to say hello; Alex wasn't amused and the Wolfes moved to the bar. Doris, who was still running for mayor unopposed, gloated to Ashlee about her future win (thanks to Alan fixing the election). Then she informed her daughter that part of her deal with Spaulding included closing CO2 after she takes over City Hall.

At the Spaulding manse, Gus (who'd returned from his anger-management class in Chicago) thanked Natalia for being so supportive during his rough patch with Harley. Meanwhile in another room, Alan intercepted (and hung up on) a call from Harley to Gus's cell . Later, Alan griped about Rafe playing loud music, which amused Gus. After sharing a few laughs with Natalia, they briefly danced together and Nat reminded her ex that they "still have it."

At C02, Jeffrey's friend Roc Hoover showed up. Marina introduced him to Mallet, who was in the middle of asking his partner if she would look into some bank robberies around town; Marina said she had plans and gave Mallet the brush off. When Mallet informed Frank and Buzz that Gus was back in town, the duo rushed off to give Aitoro a "proper homecoming." Later, Doris and Coop traded barbs after Ashlee told him about Alan's plan to ruin CO2 once the election is over. Ashlee sided with Coop and they decided to create a petition together to save the coffee shop.

Back at Towers, Dinah sat down with Alex, who was willing to strike a deal that would help both of their situations: If Dinah kept Marina away from Cyrus, La Spaulding would take care of Dinah's costly medical bills. "Who do I have to kill?" Dinah joked, then took Alex's number so she could think about it first. Later, Dinah spied Remy getting into a scuffle at the bar and phoned Marina to warn her about her temperamental friend. Mallet, meanwhile, confronted Cyrus and asked him to walk away from Marina because he was clearly a distraction to her career.

Back at the Spaulding manse, Alan and Alex shared their woes. Alan predicted that their luck was changing while Alex called Dinah, who'd finally agreed to the earlier proposition. After joking with Alan that they'd ruined their family, Alex added that at least they were both making an effort to rebuild it again.

Gus returned to an empty house and phoned Harley to tell her they needed to talk. Then Nat showed up with some food, claiming that Alan had sent her because he was worried about Gus. The duo's tender moment was interrupted by Buzz and Frank, who both railed at Gus for hurting Harley while Nat hid in the other room. Tensions rose between the men, but the bickering was stopped short by Natalia, who suddenly entered to inform Frank and Buzz that Gus wasn't entirely at fault for his marriage fallout. Nat tried to set the record straight and reminded the Coopers that Harley was still with Dylan, despite Gus's efforts to right the situation. Once they were alone again, Nat confessed to Gus that she believed they belonged together and she wasn't going to back off on trying to win him back, regardless of his marriage to Harley.

Marina rescued a drunken Remy from his situation at the bar and brought him back to her room at the Beacon. When Cyrus approached her door with a bouquet of flowers, Dinah came along to blab that his girlfriend was with another man. Cyrus promptly left and returned to the mansion, telling Alex that he was all hers. Alex gave him a playful kiss.

Dinah greeted Mallet at home with a bottle of champagne, claiming she was feeling much better and they fell into a kiss.... On Main Street, Alan and Doris approached Buzz to talk about the campaign. Doris reassured him that she wasn't planning to level Company. Buzz was infuriated anyway and gave Alan a warning about karma when Spaulding retorted, "Still, nothing in life is certain except death and taxes."
