Harley decided to surrender to the police, but Mallet urged her to reconsider. He also decided it was the perfect moment to rehash his relationship with Harley. Did she still love him? "Yes, I do, and no, I don't," she responded, confessing that while a part of her was still the woman who loved him, the woman she is now loves Gus. Lena delivered a meal for Harley and the women bonded over Harley's mother and Lena's daughter and discussed Harley's situation with the warden. "You're forcing me to admit I'm in love with my ex-husband," Harley lamented as Mallet listened. "If that were a movie..." Lena pondered. Yep, it'd probably be a dirty one. Lena took a call from Alan and informed him that she was done working for him, but Harley overheard and refused to listen to Lena's apologies. Mallet learned that a meeting his friend had arranged with the governor to diffuse the situation had been cancelled. Harley decided again to turn herself in, but Mallet offered her a reason not to...a steamy kiss. Back to that dirty prison movie...

At Company, Ross urged a distraught Marina to let Danny comfort her, but she remained reluctant to reach out to him. Danny and Marina fantasized about one another. Ross urged Marina not to be afraid of "the 800 pound gorilla in the room." "That's not a nice way to talk about your best friend's daughter," she quipped. Finally, she broke down and let Danny hold her.

Gus, Alexandra and Alan rode to Cross Creek. Gus insisted Alan and Gus remain in the car, but he allowed Bill, who was outside when Gus arrived, to speak with his wife alone. Olivia let Emma play outside, unaware that the men were on the premises, and held a baseball bat on her arriving husband. Bill ordered Olivia to tell him whether or not she killed Phillip. Olivia insisted that Bill couldn't truly understand her because "You're somewhere between an Eagle Scout and an angel." But he assured his wife that if she told him the truth, they would work through it. "The truth is, I don't want to lose you," she answered and pulled him into a kiss. Meanwhile Alexandra planned to tell Gus that Alan was behind Harley's transfer, but she decided against it "because I love you," she told her brother. Gus found Emma playing outside and took her back to Springfied with Alan and Alex.

While Jonathan and Reva chatted at Lewis, he got a message on his computer. "Not to worry Johnny — we'll see you very soon." Reva got a phone call asking her to go to the television studio to meet the new owner. Josh set up several television cameras playing memorable moments from their romance. Does this mean they've been followed around by video cameras all these years? Is Josh about to pitch Reva a comeback via-reality television? No, but he did buy the studio and offer Reva her old job back. No thanks, she told him and finally confessed that while she didn't know what she ultimately wanted in her life, she had taken a job in a bar. Reva went back to the office looking for Jonathan, but found Billy her old "partner-in-crime" instead.

Dinah, Edmund and Cassie arrived in San Cristobel, but an immigration official barred Cassie from entering the country (despite receiving an invite to the ball). Cassie had to ask Dinah to go in her place, and her rival was happy to step in as Princess Cassie once again. Dinah informed a skittish Edmund that by taking Cassie's place she could see what it would be like if he could love her. Edmund left to check on Cassie and burst in just as she was being taken into police custody. Edmund diffused the situation by appealing to the man as a father and got Cassie released (That guard is so fired tomorrow!). But at the ball, Cassie and Edmund learned from Dinah that Alonzo was a no-show.

Billy got a demand for hush money from the thug he paid to rough up Phillip. Jonathan caught Billy arranging a drop and offered to deliver the cash himself. Billy proved reluctant to trust Jonathan, but a plea from Tammy convinced Billy to give him a chance. Jonathan made the delivery and told the blackmailer that this would be his last payment. Josh caught him roughing up the thug, and congratulated Jonathan, informing him that for once they were on the same side. "Keep up the good work." Jonathan got another threatening text message from the mysterious "we." Perhaps he is being stalked by a member of the royalty.

Tammy and Sandy arrived at the television studio for Josh's surprise too late, but ended up sharing a steamy kiss. Tammy pulled away, claiming she had homework to do (the "I have to wash my hair" for the modern co-ed). When Reva arrived in search of Josh, Sandy confided that while he and Tammy were growing closer, there was still a wall between them.

Lizzie helped Coop make a time machine for Zach and Jude and he told her that Beth had warned him to stay away from her daughter for his own good. The teens hid from when they spotted Beth speaking to Ross and Blake outside, discussing Beth's concerns over the kids' attraction. Coop urged Lizzie to come out of hiding and convince Beth that she was wrong to assume that her daughter was unstable. Lizzie responded by screaming at her mother. "What's wrong with you?!" Lizzie demanded, not exactly what Coop had in mind. He went to serve Blake and Ross, while Lizzie and Beth had it out. Eventually Beth convinced her daughter that they both needed a break at a spa in Switzerland with a "wellness" (psychiatric) program. Meanwhile, Blake informed Coop that she could tell that he loves Lizzie and urged him to fight for her. Noticing Coop giving Lizzie nervous glances, Blake chuckled to her hubby that all the teens needed was a little approval to split them up.

Edmund broke from his kiss with Dinah and informed Cassie that "a kiss is just a kiss." He urged her not to give up on their future because of an attraction to Jeffrey. Cassie promised Edmund that she wanted to be a family with him again and left to meet Tammy. Dinah wasn't so forgiving and inquired whether the kiss was that awful. "Don't put words in my mouth, Dinah," he insisted. "Then don't put your tongue in mine," she spat and dropped the bombshell that she is in love with him. Meanwhile, Cassie questioned Tammy about her love life. Are you in love with Sandy? she asked when Tammy received a note from her beau. Tammy admitted that she was and told a choked up Cassie that as long as she didn't run away things would be fine. Cassie returned to the farm and informed Edmund that they would no longer be leaving town. Cassie got an invitation from Alonzo to attend a ball in San Cristobel. Finally, a chance to try to fix things, she mused.

Bill and Gus arrived at the cottage to find a letter from Olivia accusing him of setting her up and asking that he never contact her again. Danny urged a skittish Marina to take the controls of the plane before they returned to the ground to pick up Bill and Gus. Back in Springfield, Frank asked Gus to seek Alan's help diffusing the Harley situation. Danny received a postcard from Michelle, updating him on her trip to Africa: Robbie rode an elephant; Michelle is working with Ed at the clinic. (For those of you keeping track at home, that makes four letters or notes in this episode. The Springfield mailman is earning his pay.) Marina called Danny on his feelings for Michelle and told him that while he isn't ready to make any promises to her yet, he will be soon.

Harley and Mallet remained hiding out in his office in a standoff with the police. Are you willing to take a bullet for me? Harley asked. If it comes to that, he answered. The police sent Frank to urge Harley to surrender, but he made no progress getting the pair to give themselves up. Mallet informed Harley that this was his chance to prove to her that he was the same man she married. While they couldn't go back, they could move forward. "When did you stop loving me?" he questioned. At the Spaulding Mansion, Alan made a call to the governor urging him not to relent on Harley's transfer. Bill paid Alan a visit and Alan urged him to find Olivia before she does anything stupid. Bill got a message that Olivia was in hiding at Cross Creek, which Gus and Alan overheard.

Cassie confessed to Jeffrey that she is leaving Springfield with Edmund and Dinah. At Company, Edmund interrupted Dinah before she could tell Ross that she plans to leave town. Ross accused Edmund of using Dinah's love to manipulate her. Dinah confided to Edmund that she remained reluctant to leave behind Ross and Bill and the life she'd built in Springfield, but he pulled her into his lap and convinced her to go along with the plan. They returned home to the farm where they spotted Cassie and Jeffrey in a steamy kiss. Cassie asked Dinah and Edmund to step outside while she told Jeffrey that theirs was "a goodbye kiss...most likely" and asked him to keep her travel plans secret. Jeffrey left and happened upon Dinah who informed him that she still intended to win Edmund. Jeff then arranged a flight to San Cristobel. Meanwhile, Cassie assured Edmund that while she had an "emotional affair" with Jeffrey they hadn't had sex.

Lizzie refused to go to dinner with Alan and Beth. Coop arrived with a delivery for Lizzie: a box of photos of Zach and Jude to remind her who she was hurting by enabling Alan. She assured Coop that she had only lied to protect him as she doesn't want to lose him. "I don't want to lose you either," he responded and they kissed. Beth interrupted and the teens arranged a secret meeting later at Company. Lizzie left and Beth took the opportunity to order Coop not to get involved with her daughter because "She'll ruin your life." Ouch! Meanwhile at Company, Ross told Lizzie that she reminds him of Phillip.

Marina confided to Danny that while she wants to be with him, she still harbors doubts. Danny gifted Marina with a cardboard cut out of himself so that she could get used to having him around and maybe learn to trust him again. While Marina teased him about the gesture, she decided to keep the gift.

Olivia didn't answer Bill's phone call, but Gus had words for him, demanding Bill give up Olivia's location. Bill refused to spill (he didn't know where she was anyway). Bill called his wife again and this time she answered and told him that she was hiding out in the Spaulding cottage on a private island. Bill convinced Danny to fly him there, and on the runway, Marina insisted on coming along. In flight, they learned that Gus had stowed away too, making Springfield the world's least secure airport. At the island, Marina and Danny waited in the plane, while Gus allowed Bill to go in alone.

Edmund fretted to Dinah that he might have cost Cassie her son. Ross arrived at the farm and told Dinah, Edmund and Cassie that Alonzo was sending a contingent to Springfield to take Will. "We screwed up so bad in Washington, we couldn't have planned it," Cassie worried. Little does she know...Edmund told Cassie that they would have to go on the run if she hoped to keep Will, and Dinah agreed to go along for the ride. Dinah left Cassie and Edmund to discuss their options alone and happened upon an ailing Ross, who confided he'd need surgery for several herniated discs. What if I leave, Dinah wondered, and something goes wrong? "Are you going somewhere?" her father queried. Meanwhile back at the farm, Cassie remained unsure that she could leave her whole life behind. "Can you give up Will?" Edmund countered. "When do we leave?" she answered.

Gus punched Mallet and accused him of setting up the prison transfer so that he could be Harley's hero, but when Mallet got a call from Lena that Harley was in trouble, Gus let Mallet go to the prison to save Harley. At the jail, Harley was loaded into a van with another prisoner. You'll be "eaten alive" once the other inmates learn you're a cop, the jailbird warned. Harley hallucinated that Gus was with her in the van and ensured her that she'd survive this...but it was Mallet who rode to Harley's rescue, sweeping her up in his arms (cue the romantic music) and back to the prison. "In this letter, you say that you loved me and that you never stopped. That's still true, isn't it," she asked.

Coop went to Lizzie for help with Harley, and Lizzie announced that she had something to tell him. Enter Alan, who pulled his granddaughter aside and warned her that if she told Coop about his plans for Harley, she would put the boy in danger. Gus showed up and accused Alan of sending him in search of Olivia to distract him while Harley was transferred to a tougher prison. Lizzie piped up that her grandfather was innocent: she overheard him trying to track down Olivia. Gus took a call from Mallet and informed the group that the transfer was thwarted. Coop ran off, with Lizzie in hot pursuit. He accused her of lying about Alan. "I lied to protect you," she whispered after Coop left.
