Sandy continued to taunt Jonathan from his cell about how easy it would be for him to get Tammy back. "Lets see that nasty little temper of yours." Sandy sneered right before the bailiff announced that Jon had made bail. Tammy arrived at the jail and Jonathan warned her to steer clear of Sandy before heading off to his anger-management course.

Frank and Marina had trouble finding solid leads in the search for Gus whom Frank was furious with for what he was putting Harley through, but Marina was certain he was doing this all for his wife. At Spaulding Alan-Michael promised Harley he would handle the business while she concentrated on finding Gus. Unaware of his shady intentions she took him up on his offer. An optimistic Harley told Mallet that she was sure today was the day they would find Gus. They continued to work the phones from Spaulding until a call came in that the GPS unit was sending a signal from the limo. Harley's elation was quickly deflated when a body was found matching Gus's description. Mallet offered to identify the body, but Harley refused, convinced it wouldn't be Gus, which it turned out not to be. Mallet received a tip as to the exact location of the limo, while Gus and Alan lay unconscious in a car wreck.

Frank and Marina parted ways at CO2 where she overheard Alan-Michael trying to charm his way out of a ticket. Alan-Michael admitted that he blew her off for New Year's because he was intimidated about starting a real relationship with her. Marina let him off easy, but he still couldn't get her out of his head. Later, he presented Marina with flowers to make up for the way he had treated her. "I get to you, and you get to me." A-M told her before asking that she give them another shot.... On her way home Tammy ran into Marina and gave her the news about her relationship with Jonathan. Tammy was relieved when Marina offered her support. "If you're happy then I'm happy for you," she told her friend.

In class, Jonathan daydreamed that Sandy came and took Tammy away. Jonathan passed his course and raced home to Tam. Meanwhile, Tammy was at the boathouse preparing for Jon's arrival when Sandy showed up and demanded to talk with her. She was shaken when Sandy suggested that her feelings for Jonathan weren't as genuine as she claimed, "You love the drama." He told her, before predicting that Jon would destroy her life. Jonathan arrived just in time to hear Sandy profess his love to Tammy. "Get the hell away from her or I'll kill you," he growled.

Tammy ran in to Josh at the courthouse and begged him to help Jonathan who was languishing in jail. "I'm kind of glad he's there." Josh admitted infuriating his niece.... At the jail, Jonathan warned Tammy to let Reva handle his legal problems, but she refused to abandon him and proclaimed that everyone’s efforts to keep them apart only made their love grow stronger. Meanwhile, at the farmhouse, Cassie hoped that with Jon in jail Tammy would realize that they were wrong for each other. Sandy dropped by and offered his services in "saving" Tammy. "I just want to make up for what I've done." he claimed. Cassie rebuffed his offer.

At CO2 Reva was able to recruit Mel's as Jonathans lawyer which was short-lived: When she discovered the details of the kissing cousins' relationship, Mel decided not to take the case..... Jeffery arrived at the jail and explained that per Cassie's wishes, Jonathan would be released if he successfully completed an anger-management course. Reva was suspicious of Cassie's sudden change of heart.

Back at CO2, Josh assured a shaken Mel that she shouldn't feel bad about not wanting to help Jonathan. When Sandy asked for his help in fixing things with Tammy, Josh implored him to forget about her and move on. "I guess I'm really on my own.” he said coldly before walking away. Reva and Josh shared a cup of coffee and she admitted that Jonathan and Tammy reminded her of them when they were young.

After getting the brush-off from Rick, Mel went to the hospital to confront her husband about the avoidance problem in there marriage. " I worry that we work to avoid the real issues," Mel said. Rick tried to ease his wife’s fears, but she still had doubts.

Tammy headed home to thank Cassie for her help, but was disappointed when her mom revealed she had nothing to do with Jon's release, and actually wanted him locked up for as long as possible. Tammy accused her of ruining their family, but Cassie refused to feel sorry for Jonathan’s situation.

A spiteful Sandy visited Jonathan and goaded him about his predicament. He went on to explain how easy it would be for him to get back into Tammy's good graces. "You are always going to lose," he promised a furious Jonathan.

Day One
Harley woke from a dream of being in bed with Gus when her alarm went off. She re-read Gus's letter, which noted that he was keeping Alan away from her until he could figure out how to keep his dad locked up for good. In the bathroom, she splashed water on her face, and tenderly touched Gus's toothbrush. Then she made her bed, while Zach ran in and called out, "Rise and shine, Mommy!" He helped her make her bed, and she asked him about his science project. He wondered where Gus was, so she told him he was out of town on business. They had breakfast together and she sent him off to school. (Where is Jude?) She flashed back to a time when she insisted to Gus that she could get through a day without him, and he replied, "Some day you're gonna realize that we wasted so much time."

At the office, Mallet was sitting in her chair. She declared, "Gus is gone and it's all your fault!" He asked her not to blame him. Later, she met Frank who was calling hospitals and morgues, monitoring Gus's credit cards and cell phones. Frank reported that he had put an APB out on Gus. Frank wanted to know why Gus didn't go to him first. She flashed back to when they first met when he was an FBI agent and she was a young cop.... She spent the rest of the day with Dinah, who helped her call various pharmacies and diners in a 50-mile radius, because when Gus was stressed out, he needed a lot of Pepto-Bismol for his ulcer and greasy food.

Day Two
Harley woke up again, read Gus's letter and got ready for her day. Later she met Buzz in town, who was mad at himself for not stopping Gus and for not being the voice of reason. Buzz tried to convince Harley that Gus wouldn't really hurt his own father, but she flashed back to seeing a movie with Gus, after which he told her that he would risk everything to protect her. "I'd die for you, I'd kill for you," he said. She then ran into Mallet and asked him if he would look the other way if she did something outside of the law to get Gus back. He said he would, for her and only for her. "If I'm going to put my career on the line, my life on the line," he began, before Dinah walked up. Harley understood what Mallet was saying, and agreed before heading back to the office. She recalled dancing with Gus late one night there. Alan-Michael interrupted her memories. She realized she needed to concentrate on finding Gus, so she asked A-M to be in charge at Spaulding Enterprises, which definitely was exactly what he wanted. At midnight she finally made it home. (Who watches her kids during the day?)

Day Three
Harley woke up to the exact same song on the radio that woke her up the last two days. Today, she broke down into tears in the bathroom, screaming that Gus had left her. She start shoving all of his belongings into garbage bags, but pulled herself together when Zach knocked on her locked door, although she sent him off to school without opening the door, telling him that Uncle Frank would take him to school. She stayed in her room until 3 p.m. when Buzz kicked opened her door, to comfort her. Later, she flashed back to Gus visiting her in jail, upset that he had to live without her while she was locked up, but that he was getting through it. She called Mallet to make sure he was following through on leads.

Day Four
Harley was already awake when her alarm went off. In the bathroom, she found Gus's toothbrush in the garbage where she'd thrown it the day before. At her office, she admitted to Mallet that she had some lingering feelings for him, and that she had been dreaming about him. "Harley, please don't do this right now," he pleaded with her. She blamed herself for being so occupied with Mallet that she missed a clue that Gus had been giving her. Mallet told her not to blame herself, and that he was trying to respect her marriage, but then asked if they'd be married were it not for Gus. "I'm saying Gus is in my life," she replied, promising that she wouldn't act on her feeling for Mallet and asking if he could do the same. He didn't answer, but then said he had gotten a lead on Gus, through a guy who owned a limo company. Dimitri, the company owner, said Gus had rented a limo, but hadn't returned it. Thrilled, she remembered being on a plane with Gus on their way to their honeymoon. The plane was flying through turbulence and she panicked, but Gus calmed her down. Later that night, Harley went home and again read Gus's letter. "I'll always find you," she murmured and then went to sleep.

Gus drove off into the night with Alan in his limo, claiming he was taking his dad somewhere where Alan could never hurt his wife and kids.

Tammy overheard Jeffrey tell someone on the phone that Alan got off. When the DA hung up, Tammy confronted the DA about keeping Jonathan in jail. "You think my mom made a mistake," she claimed á la Luke Skywalker, "I feel it." She demanded he let her boyfriend out. Jeffrey pleaded with Tammy to call her mom and make things right. He thought if she showed Cassie how happy Jonathan made her, Cassie would understand. He suggested she go home. "That's exactly what Jonathan said," she told him. She asked him to drop the charges and she'll come back home.

Meanwhile, Cassie demanded that Reva go home, but her sister wouldn't budge. Reva warned her sister not to drive Tammy away, but Cassie just wanted to protect her daughter. "They are our children," she said, "and they are cousins." Reva admitted that Jonathan did hurt Tammy last year, but that Jonathan had changed. "He's still the same old son of a bitch he's always been," Cassie said. "I guess that makes me the bitch," Reva retorted. Cassie was furious that Reva arranged for Tammy and Jonathan to hang out before her wedding. She thought their relationship was sick. Reva tried to defend them: "It's not sick, it's different. It's not like they grew up together." Cassie was upset that Reva was trying to make decisions for Cassie's life, like when she took Richard off of life support.... Jeffrey came home then and told the sparring sisters that Alan got off. Cassie pulled herself together, saying they needed to help Harley. Tammy came home then to pick her stuff up. She wanted to sell her stereo to help cover Jonathan's lawyer. Cassie wouldn't let Tammy take anything from the farmhouse, so Tammy asked if she could move in with Reva. They left together.

Beth and Alex learned that Alan had already left the courthouse.... Meanwhile Alan-Michael was clearly waiting for Alan to show up, but Marina stopped in to wish him a Happy New Year, dropping her coat to reveal a stunning dress. She told him her New Year's resolution was to go after exactly what she wanted, and kissed him. He pushed her away, raising her suspicions. She assumed he was up to something, but he told her that she had misunderstood their earlier date. She was embarrassed and hurt that he didn't really care about her.... After she left, Beth and Alex showed up looking for Alan. A-M claimed he hadn't seen his father, and only had Alan's favorite brand of cigars because he also enjoyed them. The ladies were worried because they had testified against Alan. He sent them home to wait, and left his dad a message.

Mallet's phone rang while he was in bed with Dinah. He caught his breath to answer it, and then was shocked that Alan got off. He didn't want to leave her because she had been so upset about her dad. She insisted it wasn't his problem and told him to go. "I just don't want to, you know, do the walk of shame," Mallet joked. He said he'd call her in the morning. She insisted that he didn't have to and he said, "I know." Later, she found his wallet on the floor.... Meanwhile, a fretful Harley left a message for Gus on his cell phone. She turned on the TV, and learned that Alan had been released. Later, she met Mallet in town and found out that he had locked Gus in jail to prevent him from doing something stupid. They both worried about Gus. Dinah appeared then, with Mallet's wallet. Harley decided to take off and look for Gus on her own. Mallet hugged Dinah tightly. Later they went back to Dinah's place, but Mallet was too worried about Gus to stay. He kissed her and left.... Harley ran into Marina in town and told her about Alan's release. She admitted she wasn't too scared of Alan. They talked about getting stood up, so Harley told a story about getting stood up by Alan-Michael back in the day. She said she'd gone to the party he was supposed to have taken her to with another guy to make him jealous. Harley went home and laid on her bed, where she discovered the letter Gus had written her.
