Josh broke the news to Cassie that he was bound for Oklahoma. Cassie fantasized about asking Josh not to go but told him that she thought his trip was a good idea. After her surgery, Reva wanted to call Josh, but Dr. McCabe wanted to be sure she had really thought through her decision first. Reva snatched the phone and called Billy instead. She asked him to keep an eye on Josh and deflect her husband's questions. Josh overheard Billy talking to Reva and railed against his brother. Billy worked to convince Josh not to go to Oklahoma, to no avail. Josh realized that Reva's story didn't make sense, and she was hiding something (Gee. Really?).

Reva asked Colin how he became a doctor. He revealed when his twin sister died from the disease, he set out to get revenge on cancer. Reva grabbed Colin's hand and told him that she didn't want to die. "I won't let you die," the doc responded. She thanked him.

Tammy received a text message from Jonathan and rushed off to the airport, where she had been informed a ticket would be waiting for her. Meanwhile, at Alan's island getaway, Alan promised Jonathan that Tammy was on the way. To make the house and a life with Tammy his, all Jonathan needed to do was to sign away his parental rights. Jonathan agreed but wrote in the condition that Reva would be part of the baby's life. Tammy arrived and wanted to know why Jonathan had taken off and whether he had made any decisions. Jonathan explained that he split to figure out how to win Tammy back: Nothing mattered to him except being with Tammy. They kissed. Jonathan explained that the island house was theirs and lied about how he purchased it. Tammy insisted that his baby needs Jonathan, but they decided to have sex first and discuss Lizzie's bun in the oven later.

Gus went to Cedars to attend a Narcotics Anonymous Meeting but got the word that there was a jumper on the hospital roof. Lizzie's faked suicide attempt went horribly wrong when the scaffolding she was standing on began to collapse. Gus rescued the young Spaulding schemer as Harley looked on. Lizzie told Alan and Beth that she had felt the baby kick and realized that she was really going to have a daughter. Lizzie promised to never put her child in danger again, but Beth and Alan didn't believe that Lizzie could handle being a mother. Harley followed Gus to their house, where he told her that he was clean.

Lizzie beamed to Alan about Coop's interest in her child, much to her grandfather's dismay. Alan promised that Jonathan wouldn't interfere in her life or that of her child. Lizzie wanted Alan to help her win Coop back. Ashlee asked Lizzie whether the rumor was true that Jonathan was the father of her baby. Lizzie admitted that it was, but assured that since she and Tammy didn't want Jonathan, Ashlee was free to pursue him. Meanwhile, Alan thanked Tammy for being there for Lizzie and urged her to reconcile with Jonathan. Tammy filled Remy in on Jonathan's departure and received a text message from her missing beau.

Tammy showed up at Cross Creek: Springfield Edition and explained to Josh that Jonathan was missing. She wanted to ask Reva for information, but Josh revealed that she had taken off as well. Josh believed that Tammy was more proud than heartbroken by Jonathan's actions. Josh argued with an associate about Reva's plans for the hospital. Frustrated, he took a baseball bat to Reva's photo. Josh wondered when Reva would return home. He booked a one-way trip and a suite in Oklahoma to supervise the project.

Dr. McCabe prepared to perform surgery on Reva. She asked him to do something for her if she didn't make it, but McCabe insisted that Reva would pull through and refused to listen to her request. While sedated, Reva imagined telling Josh about her cancer and her reasons for keeping the secret and triumphantly returning home having beaten the disease. Fantasy Josh responded that it was too little, too late and walked out on Reva. In Minnesota, Reva made it through surgery and immediately asked for a phone so that she could call her husband.

At Gus and Harley's unfinished dream house, Rick witnessed Gus freaking out while attempting to assemble a bike for Jude and assumed that Gus was on a bender. Meanwhile, Harley walked in on Ava and Coop kissing at Company. Harley and Buzz went to Gus' room where Harley was cheered to find things only moderately disheveled. Harley took it as a sign that Gus was on the road to recovery. Harley found a full bottle of pills in the bathroom, and was encouraged further. Harley wanted to send for the boys, but Buzz warned her to be cautious. Harley called Gus, but Rick snatched the phone away from her and threatened to take Jude away if Harley reconciled with Gus. Gus (demonstrating his remarkable auditory powers) overheard Rick's threat through a wall and closed window and left the assembled bike for Harley to discover.

Lizzie asked Coop to be the godfather to little Jenna, and he declined. Lizzie called Ashlee and arranged to meet her on the roof. Lizzie promised that if Ashlee delivered a note to Coop, Lizzie would aid Ashlee with Jonathan. But Ashlee overheard Coop and Ava say that Jonathan had left town, and she tore up Lizzie's letter. Lizzie strapped herself into a harness on the roof, and planned to prove to Coop how much he needs her.

Reva read a note that she wrote to Josh (but never intended to give him) about her decision to keep her cancer secret. Billy accompanied Reva to the Minnesota clinic where she promptly dismissed him. Billy got teary saying goodbye but Reva urged him to go home and be her link to Springfield. Reva met her suitemate, Tracy, and the women bickered, but soon they were laughing together instead. Thanks to Tracy's encouragement, Reva took off her wig to reveal her bald head.

In his hotel room, Billy prayed to God to help Reva. Meanwhile, at the clinic, Reva awoke to learn that Tracy was having a medical emergency. Reva imagined Josh comforting her. In the morning, Colin came by her room and broke the news to Reva that Tracy had died during the night. Reva badgered Colin into helping her with her to-do list. Colin took Reva to a club where she wanted to kiss a rock star, but the singer didn't show. To lift her spirits, Colin cheered Reva with a hilariously off-key rendition of "I Think I Love You." Reva recorded a video message to her children and Josh. Then Colin blindfolded Reva and surprised her with a trip to the racetrack where she drove NASCAR's Tide car.

Billy visited Josh, who revealed his new veterans' center would be completely environmentally friendly. Billy urged Josh to trust that he knows his wife and she would call when she was ready, but Josh was skeptical. Josh asked Billy to relay to Reva that the project was progressing well.

Olivia pleased Frank by announcing that she wanted to reconsider moving in together. Olivia was on her way to check out the housing development when her car broke down. While trying to get cell reception, she fell into Buzz's arms. Buzz offered to take Olivia back to town on his motorcycle. Olivia brought Buzz up to speed on her cohabitation plans and they bonded over their mutual dislike of fences. Buzz drove Olivia to Company, where he looked on as Frank and Olivia kissed.

Dinah's wedding dream became a nightmare when Mallet checked out Harley on their wedding day and the two wound up in a violent argument. Dinah awoke, alone and shaken by her dream. She found Mallet on the balcony, where he too claimed to have had a strange dream about the threatening notes. Mallet tried to get frisky with Dinah, but she wanted to start planning their wedding instead. She asked Mallet to fill out a wedding questionnaire and sent him on his way. Harley arrived and spotted the wedding books. She offered her congratulations, and then Dinah filled Harley in on Gus' accident and that he had stopped his pill-popping ways.

Marina received flowers and a note from Alan-Michael, who asked her to meet him. Marina traveled to Alan-Michael's room, where he told her that they were meant to be together. Marina asked Alan-Michael to prove his feelings for her by giving up Spaulding, but Alan-Michael balked. Marina needled that Alan-Michael was shut out of the company, but he claimed that he still had lots of allies. Marina listened as Alan-Michael made a business call and asked his associate to keep his incriminating e-mails coming — there was a certain redhead who would be happy to read them!

At the site of the GusH dream house, Gus was encouraged by Buzz to tell Harley that he was clean, but Gus wanted to wait until he had achieved more days of sobriety. Gus asked Frank for his job back, but Frank remained unconvinced that he was prepared to take that step. Mallet overheard Frank state that Mallet was the only available partner for Gus. When Mallet indicated he wasn't ready to forgive and forget being shot, Gus asked Mallet to hit him. Dinah socked Gus instead and ordered the men to be nice. Dinah was devastated that their wedding quizzes revealed that they were incompatible, but Mallet wasn't concerned. They had sex. Meanwhile, Harley hid from Gus at their house. She wanted to reunite with her husband but was afraid it was too soon.

Beth and Alan visited Company. Annoyed by the presence of the Spauldings, Coop suggested that he and Ava blow off work, and the new couple went to Harley's unfinished house. Coop promised that he had no regrets about being with Ava. Meanwhile, Alan promised Beth that he had gotten rid of Jonathan.

Lizzie suffered abdominal pains but didn't want to go to the hospital. Tammy took Lizzie to the hospital anyway, where Lizzie was informed that she and the baby would be fine. Tammy insisted on calling Jonathan, but was unable to reach him because he had left town without alerting anyone. Lizzie asked the hospital to call Coop, who was busy making out with Ava. Ava assured that she would understand if Coop wanted to go see Lizzie and even offered to accompany him to the hospital. When Alan and Beth arrived, Lizzie asked her grandfather to help her win Coop back. Coop told Lizzie he was having trouble letting go of his role as the baby's father. That's because we are meant to be a family, replied Lizzie. Cassie urged Tammy to re-think her relationship with Jonathan.

Reva informed Josh that she was taking off on an epic journey to visit the kids, tackle her childhood to-do list and research a news story, much to her husband's dismay. Josh was suspicious of Reva's behavior, but she claimed that he was reading too much into her actions. Josh accused Reva of being selfish and really blew his top when Billy arrived to take Reva to the airport. Billy wondered if Reva was making the wrong decision by not trusting Josh with the truth: What if this was the last time Reva ever saw Josh? Reva assured that she wouldn't die, and she would tell Josh everything once she was healthy again.

After some prodding from Blake, Cassie confessed to her friend that she had developed feelings for Josh. Blake made a speedy exit when Josh arrived with documents for his veteran's project. Josh confided to Cassie about his latest problems with Reva. Josh phoned Marah, who revealed that Reva had no plans to visit her or Dylan after all.
