Reva explained to Billy that she felt like a ghost looking at what life would be like after her death. "It took me dying to see how whacked out the world is," she mourned. Billy took Reva to the lighthouse for a change in perspective. One of Rev. Ruthledge's descendants took a group on a tour of the lighthouse. Reva grew woozy and when she awoke, came face-to-face with Buzz, dressed a in a slick suit and going by the name F. Achilles Cooper. Buzz took Reva to Company where Alan was working as a fry cook and Alexandra was a gum-smacking waitress. "This can't be real," Reva gasped. Olivia walked by dressed in a nun's habit and Reva burst out laughing. Then Alan-Michael (a.k.a. "little Al") appeared in a policeman's uniform. Buzz then brought Reva to the Cooper mansion where Gus was the family butler. Buzz called Reva "Miss Prim and Proper" and explained that she had baptized herself the "saint of Springfield." The spoiled Spaulding youngins, Marina, Coop and Coop's girlfriend Ava, jetted off to Paris, while Frank made high-powered business deals. Harley tried to bribe Reva not to sue the Coopers for falling at the lighthouse, which they owned.

Reva grew woozy again and Buzz took her to the hospital, where Lizzie was her nurse. "Just knowing I'm helping people makes my life worth living," beamed Lizzie. Jonathan, who in this reality had been raised by Reva, was her doctor and Lizzie's husband. Jonathan explained that Reva's test had returned clean; no breast cancer. "I don't ever want to go home," said Reva in delight. Jonathan met Tammy, dressed as a biker chick, in the hospital alley. Reva spied them kissing and promised not to tell Lizzie. Reva sped off with Tammy on the back of her motorcycle and the women drove to Tammy's bar, where Remy was the bouncer. A homeless Rick nearly got into a fistfight with Josh, who was drunk. Josh accused Reva of judging him. Reva told Josh she had always loved him, and Cassie strolled in and began hanging out with Josh. Josh left with Cassie and smacked Tammy's butt on the way out the door.

Dinah urged Reva to go to the rally to save the lighthouse, which was scheduled to be torn down by the Coopers. At the rally, Dinah introduced a special speaker, an "extinguished man" and college dean — Billy. The Coopers stormed in, and announced that the lighthouse was coming down that night. Reva pleaded with Billy to help her get back to the family she loved in a parallel world. Reva learned that the Coopers had to buy land next to the lighthouse, which was owned by Josh, to tear it down. Reva offered to double whatever the Coopers were offering, but Josh claimed he had to sell the land so that he could get out of town to figure out what he wanted to be. "You are not enough for me, Reva Shayne," he bellowed, sparking a rousing speech from Reva. "If you sell that land, then we're both going to be trapped forever. You and I will both be trapped in a world that isn't any better than any other world and it could be a hell of a lot worse. For what? So that you can go and find something...more? Well let me tell you something. There isn't anything more. You have your family, your friends, your town, your life. Okay, so maybe you're not as young as you used to be. Who the hell is? Maybe your life didn't turn out the way you wanted it to. Join the frickin' club. Maybe you've had one too many heartaches. Well, you know what, Bud? That's living. So stop feeling sorry for yourself and stop looking everywhere but in a mirror for your answers. And do the right thing for the people that care about you." (Gee, over-identify, Reva?) Cassie arrived and Josh agreed that he would still leave with her.

Billy found Reva at the top of the lighthouse. Reva, Dinah and the other protesters formed a human chain to stop the Coopers from tearing down the lighthouse. Reva realized she couldn't be an impartial observer in her life anymore. She noted that in any reality, one thing remained constant: Love. Josh arrived and announced that he hadn't sold the land because he kept hearing Reva's voice. Reva told Josh that she was proud of him. Josh wanted to hear Reva say that she was crazy about him. "Or just plain crazy," Reva responded. "But wherever I go, I will love you. Always." They were about to kiss, when Reva woke up in regular Springfield with Josh standing over her.

Tammy had a nightmare that as she and Jonathan were preparing to wed, Lizzie walked in dressed in a wedding gown and married the groom instead. Tammy awoke and presented Jonathan with a gift to help him remember who he was really crazy about. Meanwhile, Lizzie tried to convince her dog that she wouldn't do anything to hurt Tammy or Jonathan. Still, she maintained, "Sometimes things happen for a reason." Lizzie walked into Tammy and Jonathan's room and chided them for being half-naked. What if Alan had walked in instead of her? Lizzie asked Tammy to act as the wedding party at the ceremony, and Tammy agreed. Alan caught Tammy trying on Lizzie's veil. "What a shame it isn't yours," he mock-sympathized.

Jonathan told a dismayed Reva about the wedding. Meanwhile, Lillian was helping Lizzie get ready. Lillian warned that things might not work out the way that Lizzie wanted them to. Jonathan visited Alan to pick up things for the honeymoon and needle his future grandfather-in-law. Alan cautioned that he would catch Jonathan sneaking out to be with Tammy. Jonathan presented Lizzie with a wedding gift: Some jewelry he stole from the Spaulding mansion. Lizzie allowed Alan to walk her down the aisle. No one spoke up when the judge asked for objections. Jonathan was surprised to learn that he and Lizzie had written their own vows, as Lizzie passed him a piece of paper with his script. Lizzie's own vows were more heartfelt. Jonathan kissed Lizzie passionately at the end of the ceremony and Tammy walked out. Jonathan followed Tammy and kissed her, which Alexandra saw. Cassie lectured Lizzie that her marriage wasn't real. Tammy watched was Jonathan and Lizzie took part in all of the traditional wedding activities: The first dance, the cake-cutting; Tammy even caught the bouquet. Jonathan and Lizzie returned to their honeymoon suite, where Jonathan planned a speedy escape to meet Tammy but was foiled by Alan and his goon, Dr. Baker. Tammy waited alone for him at Outskirts.

Vanessa asked Josh what was going on with Reva. Josh said that things weren't "good" between them. Josh wondered what it was like when Vanessa had to give up on Billy. Josh explained that there was no going back to Reva and he felt ready to move on. Just then Reva arrived and greeted Vanessa. Vanessa excused herself and the estranged couple was left alone. She claimed she overreacted to learning of Josh and Cassie's relationship. Josh wanted to know why Reva had walked away from him. Reva explained that their reconciliation came out of nowhere and they didn't deal with any of their problems. He asked if Reva had left him for Billy. Reva laughed off the suggestion at first but then lied, that yes, she was having an affair with Josh's brother. Josh dropped the bomb that he and Cassie decided not to pursue a relationship. She wanted to know what happened, but Josh just walked away.

Reva explained to Billy why she wanted Josh to be with Cassie. Billy sniffed that while Josh might move on after Reva's death, she wasn't supposed to pick out the girl. Reva mused that he already had. Reva left and Billy cried at Sarah's grave, and then went to Outskirts where he eyed the bottles of booze. Vanessa walked in and greeted Billy warmly. She wondered if he had a bad day. Billy revealed he was troubled about a woman friend. The mystery woman was married and in love with her husband, but she was relying on Billy to carry a large burden. He worried that he couldn't handle it. Vanessa warned Billy to be careful and left him with a hug goodbye. Billy returned to his room to find Reva waiting for him. She explained that she had told Josh that she and Billy were having an affair.

At Lizzie's trial, Tammy was forced on the stand to read an account of Lizzie's confession that she knew she was shooting Alan. Alan's lawyer posited that either Lizzie was unstable or a murderer. Lizzie pleaded with Alexandra to stop Alan from taking the baby. Mel explained that the eye witnesses were credible and she needed Lizzie and Jonathan to remain optimistic and calm. Lizzie freaked out upon seeing Alan's shady doctor. Alex warned Alan that he was never going to take another child away from its mother. During closing arguments, Jonathan leapt to his feet and explained he wanted to raise the baby with Lizzie. He asked her to marry him. Lizzie said yes and jumped into his arms. Jonathan promised the judge that he would marry Lizzie the next day to prove he was serious. Tammy assured the judge that she loved Jonathan enough to let him go. The judge agreed to let Lizzie and Jonathan raise the child for the time being, but if the proposal was a sham, there would be consequences. Cassie comforted Tammy as Lizzie and Jonathan left the courthouse together.
