GL WEEK OF JUNE 2, 2008 RECAPS

Week of Monday, June 02, 2008

— CBS

Monday, June 02, 2008

At the farm, Cassie went through a box of Tammy's old belongings, including a photo album which made her stop short when she happened upon a photo of Tammy with Jeffrey.

At Cedars, Reva tended to recovering Jeffrey. Josh stopped by to catch up with Reva and their conversation quickly turned to her marriage proposal to Jeffrey. Reva told Josh she's happy and that the upcoming nups will be her last. Josh asked if Reva had informed Marah and Shayne about the sudden engagement; she hadn't, but joked that Josh and Cassie's nups had "softened" them up for things like this. The duo was delighted when Jeffrey woke up. He said he didn't remember a thing, so Reva explained he was shot and had two surgeries. After the doctor came in to check Jeffrey's vitals, Reva said a detective had arrived to question him. Jeffrey claimed he didn't remember Rafe pulling the trigger.

Daisy and Ashlee bonded as they shared a beer near the train tracks. They joked about their terrible parents, then Daisy admitted she already misses Harley (who didn't even say good-bye before she ran off). After Ashlee split, a mysterious figure watched Daisy from the bushes, unnoticed. Later, Ashlee was jogging home when she tripped and injured her ankle. She was then rescued by a mysterious hottie (it's G!), who asked her if she was okay. Ashlee didn't recognize the guy and thanked him for his help. When Josh suddenly appeared, however, G vanished. After, a smitten Ashlee frantically searched for the mystery guy and happened upon his dog tags. She picked them up and decided to get the chain fixed and somehow return the necklace to him as a thank-you gift.

Josh returned to the farm, where Cassie had placed all of Tammy's things in a donation pile, saying she needs a fresh start and doesn't want her home to be a museum. Cassie then presented Josh with the music box Jeffrey gave Tammy when she was a little girl. Josh told her that Jeffrey is finally awake. She was surprisingly eager to visit him. Josh watched uncomfortably as Cassie prepared Jeffrey a plate of goodies.

Daisy visited Jeffrey to apologize on behalf of Rafe. She said the shooting was an accident and begged Jeffrey to tell the cops it was, too. When the cop questioned him, Jeffrey lied and claimed the gun went off when he grabbed it from Rafe and that the shooting wasn't intentional (nor did Rafe threaten him). Then Cassie showed up and shooed the cop away. She coddled Jeffrey and fed him breakfast. They happily caught up and Cassie was enthused about the engagement. Meanwhile, Josh ran into a frazzled Reva in the Cedars parking lot. When the movie crew called, Reva shared with Josh that they're shooting the moment when Josh finds out Reva married H.B. The exes shared a laugh as they reminisced. Josh offered to go to the film set while Reva checked up on Daisy.

Reva and Daisy shared a nice heart-to-heart. Reva asked what Daisy wants to do with her life and advised her granddaughter not to fret so much about things that are beyond her control. Meanwhile, Josh went to Cross Creek where his portrayer, Mark, prepped for a big "Jeva" reunion scene and asked Josh to help him get into his role. After getting caught up in old memories, Josh asked to read the script.

Josh and Cassie both returned home, where Josh was obviously distracted by Cassie's preoccupation with caring for Jeffrey. Back at Cedars, Reva tried to get Jeffrey excited about their wedding, but he was too tired and in pain to care. Reva covered her disappointment, but said she's just glad Jeffrey's still alive.
