GL WEEK OF NOVEMBER 3, 2008 RECAPS

After returning from their trip to see Rafe, Olivia tried to explain to a worried Natalia that her nearly passing out at the prison wasn't a big deal. Nat, however, urged Liv (yet again) to take things easy because of her recent surgery. In turn, Liv advised Natalia to do herself some good as well and tell Rafe how much his being in prison is hurting her.

At Towers, Josh overheard Reva talking on the phone to Jeffrey and asking him to let her tag along while he searches for Lizzie's kidnapper. Josh was shocked by Reva's desire to put her life (and her baby) in jeopardy. She claimed that she's living life to its fullest and hates sitting at home drowning her loneliness in strawberry ice cream and old DESIGNING WOMEN episodes. She explained that when Jeffrey offered her the gig, she gladly accepted. Josh was appalled that Jeffrey would allow his pregnant wife to do something so risky. Reva reasoned that Josh is probably just having a mid-life crisis and is being too uptight. She resolved to find him a new lady.

At the farm, Marina continued to accuse Cyrus of breaking into the Spaulding mansion and swiping a pearl necklace. Then she also blasted Cassie for protecting the criminal and called her out on helping him to steal some stereo equipment. Cassie's stubborn protests and Cyrus's silence provoked Marina to question the duo more, so she phoned Mallet for help with the matter. Later, Mallet arrived and they interrogated Cyrus and Cassie separately. Cassie's alibi was Buzz's Halloween party; Cyrus admitted to Mallet that he does know how to use a lock-picking kit, but claimed that he wasn't even near the Spaulding manse. Then RJ entered to complain that the toy Cyrus gave him is broken. Mallet tried to fix it and discovered the stolen pearl necklace jammed inside the toy. Cassie was shocked and blasted Cyrus for lying to her. Mallet handcuffed Cyrus and took him to the station.

Back at the Beacon, Olivia and Natalia continued to bicker about what's best for each other. Liv continued to tell Natalia to do everything she can to help Rafe's situation in prison, explaining that confronting the warden is the first step. Nat was miffed that Liv meddled in her personal affairs without consulting her first.

Cassie followed Marina to the police station. Marina was determined to find Cassie guilty of being an accomplice in Cyrus's crime and suggested having RJ testify to help her find out the truth. Cassie reluctantly agreed to give Marina a statement to prevent RJ from being involved in the drama. Later, Cyrus was freed and apologized to Cassie, who was more upset that Cyrus used RJ. Cyrus reminded her that he'll always be a criminal and that he's Grady's brother. Outraged that she ever trusted Cyrus, Cassie demanded that he stay away from her and RJ from now on. Cyrus signed a statement saying that he's indeed guilty of the crime. Mallet surmised that Cyrus set up the crime to push Cassie away.

Back at Towers, Reva listed off several women she thought would be good for Josh. When Blake entered, Reva asked her pal if she's single and listed Josh's great qualities. Although she was interested, Blake said Reva's mystery man sounds too good to be true. Reva laughed and had Blake take a seat right next to Josh, introducing him as La Marler's perfect date. Both Blake and Josh were amused by the unexpected hookup.

Olivia called Natalia, who was working at Company. Liv advised her to come to Towers immediately. Olivia was in the middle of a meeting with the governor and ambushed him, with the media in tow, about his future plans for prison reform. The governor claimed to do his best to help change the system and, in turn, asked Olivia about her role in Galaxy's campaign.

Blake and Josh caught up over tea. Blake pointed out that the idea of them being together is kind of absurd, considering he'll always be in Reva's territory. She pointed out Reva's list of Josh's amazing attributes and added that she'd always be competing with Reva, so she cordially passed on dating Josh. Later, however, the duo bonded as they played a board game with RJ.

An emotionally wrecked Cassie encountered Reva and explained her situation with Cyrus, adding that she thought he was helping her to get over her grief and pain from Tammy's death, but admitted that she's still suffering and feels stupid for all the terrible decisions she's made in the last year. Reva was shocked and offered to help Cassie overcome her troubles, but Cassie remained determined to move on elsewhere. Cassie revealed that she needs to start over and that means leaving Springfield. The sisters hugged.
