Coop yelled out Alan's name after realizing he'd been locked in Marina's basement. He unlocked Mallet's gun case, grabbed a revolver and shot at the door to escape. Coop jumped into his car to find Beth, but the vehicle wouldn't start. He blamed Spaulding and screamed out in frustration. So, he ran off to the mansion, instead. Meanwhile, Buzz was sleeping and had a vision of Jenna! He was pleasantly surprised by her presence and they greeted each other with a kiss. "I'm here to tell you that you're being a horse’s ass," she explained and then urged Buzz to go help Coop because he loves Beth and deserves a chance at happiness with her. He heeded her words and went to find Coop.

Lizzie called Beth's bluff when she claimed she really does want to marry Alan. Meanwhile, Rick was stunned when Alan unexpectedly showed up at Cedars and asked Rick to be his best man. Rick reluctantly agreed, adding that he'll use the opportunity to persuade Beth not to go through with the nups. Later, Lizzie asked Alan why bother with a wedding; he claimed he wants to use the ceremony to show off his power and so that no one will ever laugh at him again.

Bill stopped by the office to find Lizzie and ended up tangling with Cyrus instead. The new rivals traded barbs. Bill called Cyrus Lizzie's lap dog and advised him to keep "your manhood in your pants." Amused, Cyrus refused to tell Bill Lizzie's whereabouts. When Cyrus got up to leave, Bill heard his dog tags jingling and quickly realized he's heard that sound before. Later, over lunch with Billy, Bill explained that he remembers hearing the distinct sound of dog tags while tangling with Lizzie's kidnapper and believes that Cyrus is guilty of the crime. He feared, however, that Lizzie would never believe him and that he needs more proof before he confronts her with his theory.

Buzz found Coop running to see Beth. Buzz admitted locking up his son in Marina's basement and apologized, adding that he was only trying to protect Coop. An enraged Coop impulsively punched his pop. They bickered; Buzz said he deserved the punch and then implored his son to go after Beth because he knows Coop loves her. Coop thanked and hugged Buzz, adding that he loves him, before driving off in a rush. Buzz returned to Company and warned Frank that Alan could close down the place.

Back at the mansion, Alan gave Beth a special locket, which he explained is a family heirloom from his great aunt Louisa. Beth was clearly distracted and said she doesn't want to wear jewelry on her wedding day. Then Alan asked Beth to sign a prenuptial agreement stating that if she cheats again, she'll lose custody of Peyton. Beth was shocked that Alan would do such a thing, but when he threatened to harm Coop (again), she sobbed and signed the paperwork.

At the church, Lizzie got dressed for her mom's wedding. Cyrus accompanied her. Cyrus explained that Bill came to the office looking for her, but he prevented Lewis from going after her. They then decided that Cyrus's new job for Lizzie is to be her bodyguard. Cyrus was happy to be back on Lizzie's good side and kissed her. Later, Lizzie was surprised to see Bill and thought he was really drunk (he was secretly faking it). Cyrus stepped in and told Bill the wedding is invite only but she said she wanted to speak with Bill alone. After Cyrus walked away, Bill professed his love but Lizzie acted unfazed by his words.

As Beth got ready for her wedding, she fantasized that Coop showed up to talk her out of marrying Alan. Her daydream was interrupted when Alan walked in and announced they were going to Venice for their honeymoon. Alan then called Coop as he was speeding to the wedding and gloated that Coop would never see Beth again. After Alan hung up, Beth reamed him for his cruelty and he ordered her to "pull yourself together."

Coop became upset by Alan's call, then got distracted and lost control of his car. His vehicle spun out of control and crashed. As he laid unconscious and bloodied behind the wheel, a hooded figure emerged from the woods. When the person approached Coop, we could see Phillip's face as the car started to go up in flames.
