At Company, Buzz and Frank wondered how long it would take Coop to break up Beth and Alan's wedding. "What Coop's going to do will change everything," Buzz observed, noting how dangerous Spaulding can be. Daisy showed up and was surprised to hear about Coop, but added that it doesn't matter as long as it has a happy ending. "I need to know that they still exist!" she said. Frank and Daisy persuaded Buzz to think positive. They all pitched in to clean up Company and prepare a "romantic, regal feast" for Coop and Beth's return.

At the church, Lillian implored Lizzie to join her in talking Beth out of marrying Alan, but Lizzie claimed she already tried and it didn't work. "Love isn't a sure thing, but Granddad is like death and taxes," she cracked. Beth continued to get dressed and reluctantly put on her veil. Meanwhile, Phillip managed to pull an unconscious and bloody Coop from the wreckage of his car crash just before the vehicle exploded into flames. Phil carried Coop to Cedars, asked for Rick and sneaked out, unnoticed.

Mallet and Marina stopped by the adoption agency and discovered they're on the waiting list. Marina was elated and stepped outside to call her family. The adoption counselor, meanwhile, informed Mallet that his ties to the Santos mob clan surfaced during his extensive background check and that's the reason why they're on the waiting list and not immediately eligible for adoption. After, Marina also got a call from the police station about a car accident so they headed to the scene. When they arrived, a fellow officer explained to them that the EMS crew couldn't find the driver. Marina panicked when she realized that the car is Buzz's. She called Buzz and was relived that he was safe, but everyone freaked out when word spread that Coop was in the car and it doesn't appear that anyone could've walked away from the accident alive.

Everyone gathered for the wedding at the church. Lillian and Rick both tried one last time to talk some sense into Beth before she started walking down the aisle, to no avail. "I have to do this," she reasoned. The ceremony began and Alan said his threatening, manipulative vows. A sickened Beth barely whispered, "I do." Then, Phillip suddenly barged in and everyone turned, stunned by his presence. His mouth was equally agape upon seeing the love of his life marrying his father! Meanwhile, Lizzie was trying to keep a drunken Bill from ruining the wedding. He briefly stepped outside and called Billy, saying that his plan is working like a charm. When Lizzie came out to check on Bill, he pulled her into a kiss. Annoyed, Lizzie blasted Bill for being immature and called him a cab while he pretended to pass out.

At the crash site, Marina broke down in tears. She found Coop's cell phone and noted that the last call he received was from Alan. Meanwhile, Daisy and Frank surmised that Coop just walked to the wedding after the accident. Buzz wasn't so optimistic and rushed out with Frank to find Coop, who finally came to at Cedars and called out for Beth. Mallet and Marina returned to Company where Daisy was alone and holding down the fort. She explained that Coop was on his way to stop Alan's wedding. They rushed out to meet Buzz at Cedars.

Back at the chapel, Beth approached Phillip and briefly fainted from disbelief. Alan noticed blood on her dress; Phil explained that there's been an accident and that he rescued Coop. A tearful Beth screamed at Alan and ran out of the church to find Coop. A confused Phillip and angry Alan were left behind. Lizzie, having missed all the drama, returned inside but the sanctuary was empty. Meanwhile, an emotional Buzz arrived at Cedars. He rushed into Coop's room and shook with fear when he saw his bloody son unattended. He demanded that a doctor care for Coop. Marina and Mallet also arrived. Minutes later, Lillian, Rick and Beth showed up. Beth curled up into a ball in the corner and sobbed.

Bill went to Company and tried to comfort Daisy.... Phillip led Alan to the cemetery near his grave site to catch up and demand to know why his father shot him four years ago.
