At the mansion, Cyrus panicked when he caught Lizzie with Bill's phone, listening to Grady's message over and over again. When Cyrus offered to get rid of it for her, she refused and said she's giving it to the police and hopes they can use it to identify her kidnapper. Meanwhile, Phillip overheard their conversation from the hall.

Lizzie freaked out when Beth informed her that she's thinking about being part of Phillip's defense team during his trial. Beth pleaded her case and urged Lizzie to give her father another chance. Lizzie refused to listen, reminding Beth that he'll never change. Beth tried to reason that Alan is a far more dangerous man than Phillip. "He didn't try to keep me captive!" Lizzie screamed. "Yes he does ... Every day!" Beth responded and stormed out.

Phillip paid Alan a visit at Cedars and told him that he's impressed by Beth's legal skills. Then he blamed Alan for putting the Spaulding clan in the worst place he's ever seen them. Frustrated by Alan's stubbornness, Phil told him that he just wants his family to be happy and doesn't want to fight Alan but he will if he has to. Alan surmised that Phil is trying to turn everyone against him. Later, Alan griped to Rick that he thinks something's different about Phil now but he can't place it; Rick concurred.

Daisy was elated when Grady changed his mind and decided to testify against Alan. They shared the news with Buzz who was also pleased and asked Daisy to bust him out of Cedars, adding that he wants Alan arrested before he's released from the hospital. Cyrus, meanwhile, was worried and urged Grady to leave town immediately because Lizzie is going to the police with the voice message. Cyrus was unhinged when Grady informed him that he's coming clean about Tammy's death. After their confrontation, Grady sent Lizzie another threatening text message.

Cyrus ran into Lizzie outside and surmised that Phillip is the kidnapper. She flipped out and tried to go see Alan. When she unexpectedly ran into her father at the hospital, however, she froze. Then she accused him of being her kidnapper and rushed to Lillian and played the message. Lillian tried to calm her down and assured her that Phil is not the culprit. Terrified, Lizzie rushed out and went home where she told an emotional Beth (who was alone and thinking about Coop) that Phil is her kidnapper. Then Lizzie realized she hasn't seen Bill in a few days. Beth also tried to reason with Lizzie, who got so upset that she decided to call Alan for help.

Buzz went to see Doris and asked her to represent him, explaining that he got Grady to testify against Alan in Tammy's case. Doris agreed to do it, knowing it would boost her career, and ordered for a warrant to arrest Alan.

Alan was released from Cedars and called Grady; they traded threatening barbs. Grady told Cyrus he's aware Spaulding will try to kill him. After, Alan went to Company to meet with Lizzie where Doris barged in with Buzz and arrested him for Tammy's murder. Meanwhile, Cyrus urged his brother again to skip town. Phillip went looking for Alan to warn him about Lizzie's newest claim. Rick said he can't blame Lizzie for pointing a finger at Phil, then asked if he plans to attend their high school reunion, pointing out that Mindy is coming.

Cyrus apologized to Buzz and admitted he's worried about what will happen to Grady during the trial and is certain that Alan will go after him. Buzz refused to help Cyrus and was happy to get justice for Coop. Meanwhile, Lizzie visited Alan in jail. He asked her to find Grady for him. "I'll make sure he doesn't testify," she promised.

Back at the mansion, Beth quickly explained Alan's relationship to Foley. Phil assured her that he's not Lizzie's kidnapper and he vowed to identify him once and for all. Meanwhile, Lizzie came face-to-face with Grady (her kidnapper!) and tried to strike a deal to help Alan.
