At the Spaulding manse, Phillip pointed out to Alan that today is the big day Grady is supposed to show up to testify against him in court. Alan was confident that Foley wouldn't show. Phillip was stunned when his pop claimed that he already had someone "take care" of Grady so the crook wouldn't be a problem for them.

At the courthouse, Doris and Buzz were eager for Grady to arrive. Daisy surmised that he wouldn't arrive and had a gut feeling that something wasn't right. Buzz lost his temper after Doris explained that Alan would go to trial if Grady didn't show. "He needs to pay now!" he yelled. Then Alan arrived, smirking, "Your boy has 15 minutes to show up or you have nothing on me."

At the pond, Edmund approached Dinah, who was quietly reading a book alone. She was annoyed by the interruption. Eddie made a veiled threat, reminding La Marler that she won't ever be able to win Shayne back (even after getting Lara's music box back to him) because she single-handedly destroyed the last moving image of his one true love by erasing Lara's video. Later, Dinah was surprised when she ran into her cousin Phillip. They briefly caught up and he revealed that Lizzie finally figured out that Grady is her real kidnapper. Dinah froze. Phil told his cuz she looks a little tense. She inquired about Grady, wondering if he'd skipped town or what. Phil couldn't answer. She was also stunned when Phil mentioned Bill was briefly nabbed by Grady and surmised that Foley had an accomplice. After Phil left, Dinah was shaking in her boots. "I'm dead," she whispered to herself. Later, Dinah panicked, called Grady and left a message for him to give her an update. Then she started to pack her bags.

Josh paid Shayne a visit and pointed out that their relationship isn't working and they need to figure things out. He offered not to talk about Lara or Shayne's past and encouraged Shayne just to hang out with him. They agreed to chill and bond over beers, video games and spicy eggs, just like father and son. After, they went outside to toss a football around. Later, they were surprised when Edmund unexpectedly showed up. Josh claimed he had to leave and left Shayne and Eddie alone to chat. Eddie brought up the music box and Dinah, then encouraged Shayne not to let himself be fooled by Dinah's generosity and warned him that he'll get hurt because Dinah is selfish.

At Cross Creek, Reva told Jeffrey to get ready for their birthing class or they'll be late. He was disgruntled that Reva seemed to be avoiding the radiation/C-section issue. They went to Cedars and Reva still refused to have her baby early. Jeffrey dutifully followed La Shayne to her birthing class but the couple bickered and he stormed out. After, Jeffrey presented Reva with papers admitting her to the hospital, adding that he already signed them and it's legal because he is her power of attorney. Then he told her to come home so she can pack her bag. Reva was miffed and refused to follow Jeffrey's orders. So, she drove off without Jeffrey and said they needed some time apart.

Back at the courthouse, everyone was livid when Grady never showed. "Tell your boyfriend that was the most humiliating experience ever and that he's fired!" Doris spat to Daisy, who was understandably freaking out that her bf had suddenly gone MIA. Phil, meanwhile, listened in on the conversation unnoticed.

Outraged, Buzz went to Grady's house but no one was there. Lillian tried to calm both Buzz and Daisy down, to no avail. Buzz and Daisy were determined to locate Grady and decided to leave town together to find him. Daisy tearfully called Grady and left a message. Lillian admitted she's worried about Buzz's erratic behavior. He violently yelled and her and said he doesn't need anyone to help him, so she walked away. After Buzz telling Buzz that he's not thinking clearly and that if he leaves she might not be there for him when he returns. He left anyway, with Daisy in tow.... Later, Daisy received a break up text message from Grady, but Phillip was revealed to be its author.

Dinah went to see Shayne, told him everything about her involvement in the kidnapping and admitted that she's scared and is aware that she screwed up big time. Shayne tried to console her. She admitted he's the only person she can trust right now and they kissed again. Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Phillip was stunned to see Alan celebrating with a cigar. He told Alan there's nothing he won't do to protect his children and threatened him not to harm Lizzie ever again.

Back at Cross Creek, Josh stopped by to see Reva and go over their taxes. He could sense she was upset. Meanwhile, Jeffrey went to see Doris and inquired about a legal precedence for a husband to force his wife to have a child if the mother's health is in danger.
