At the Cooper household, Mallet and Marina impatiently waited for their visit from the Child Protective Services agent. Both were freaking out about what they would say during the interview and decided to come up with a plan to get their story straight if any hard questions arose.

Alan met Phillip at Ravenwood. Phil surmised that the entire thing (including Alan offering him a job at the company) was a setup just to get him back into the psych ward. Alan left and Phillip began his evaluation with the Ravenwood doc, explaining that he's a changed man who just wants to set things right with his family and wouldn't do anything to jeopardize that. Outside, Alan perked up when he discovered that all evaluations are videotaped. Later, Alan returned to Phil's evaluation room and intentionally got him worked up. Angry, Phil punched Alan and then immediately regretted it when he saw the video camera. He'd been duped. Due to the sudden outburst, Phillip was detained at Ravenwood for more evaluations, just like Alan wanted. Phil was miffed.

At Cedars, Reva's condition worsened after her encounter with Edmund. Shayne was stunned to see his mom in a weakened state, but dutifully tried to cheer her up. Dinah followed him to the hospital and asked Jeffrey about Edmund. He suggested she find Josh to get the latest on Eddie's whereabouts. Meanwhile, Josh paid Roc a visit in a random dirty basement where he had Edmund chained up to the wall. Edmund was livid and angrily spat that he is being "tied up to a chain like an unwanted dog!" Josh tersely explained that he's just trying to protect Shayne. "This isn't about Shayne, Josh; it's about Reva. Always, Josh and Reva," Edmund smirked. Josh and Roc departed, leaving Eddie all tied up.

Back at Cedars, Dinah got a call from Marina requesting her help with the Child Services agent. She left while Shayne encountered Lillian and said he wants to have a surprise christening for little Colin to help cheer up Reva. She volunteered to be the baby's godmother and offered to assist him with the event. Later, through Reva's hospital window, Billy, Shayne (holding baby Colin) and Lillian gathered for the christening. Josh performed the ceremony. Reva was surprised and touched. Jeffrey was also overwhelmed by the kind gesture, joking that he can usually spot a conspiracy a mile away.

Meanwhile, Dinah paid Mallet and Marina a visit and offered to take the fall for them if the adoption scheme goes sour. When the CPS agent arrived, she immediately pointed out that there was something fishy going on, saying that Mallet adopted a child with Dinah but is raising it with Marina. So, to protect Mallet and Marina, Dinah spun a wild story about the adoption that put Dinah at fault and made her look as crazy as a loon. The agent called Dinah's behavior "unorthodox" but noted that Mallet and Marina seem to be giving baby Henry a loving home. She turned to leave, adding that she'd be in touch. After, Mallet thanked Dinah for her help; Marina didn't seem convinced that the CPS issue was finished for good. Later, she lied to Mallet about visiting Frank and then slipped out to confront the CPS agent at her office, wondering why she left the Cooper household in such a hurry. When the agent pointed out that Marina broke the law when adopting Henry, Marina pleaded her case yet again.

Shayne and Dinah left Cedars and got frisky in an elevator.... Reva apologized to Jeffrey for his having to take care of her. "That's what I do best," he shrugged.... Josh returned to the sketchy basement to see Roc and Edmund but discovered both men were gone. He was concerned when he saw blood splattered on the wall.
